Oh Thank you. That was extremely useful. Good to know man. But what if you accidentally put him down. That's it. You messed up

But he is right. That is not a mori, it's an addon that requires you to change a bit your gamestyle, if you don't that's on you. Besides it's already powerful af, with that change it would be just broken.

ok, what about other side? can you see her using OoO or do you see her husk? or do you see nothing when

No when she uses her power she completely disappear (her husk too).
You can see it at around 17:45 here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wW3Ae8YR7go

surv perks are underwhelming and need a buff. diversion is useless.

Diversion is awesome. I made many killers loose another survivor by throwing the pebble on a window the opposite direction the survivor was running to.

  • It has great potential, but it relies on RNG. It's a fun perk all in all.

  • The Hillbilly has a story of child abuse and no one ever said anything about it. This is a horror game, and horror takes inspiration from reality, get over it.
In any case her lore explains why she became a killer, you just have to read a few paragraphs.
As for the sexualization... come on, really? It's a corpse cut in pieces covered in bandages. You know who else is covered in just a few bandages? The Wraith. But he doesn't have boobs so that is ok I guess...

The add on changes sound horrible.

Especially Windstorm... getting slower uncloacked is such huuuuge drawback, I don'T think anything can make up for that.

Did you try Windstorm? Imo it's amazing. When I used both the addons I was as fast as the Hillbilly, even with Sprint Burst I could catch up to them in an instant. Without the drawback it would be OP

Yes but Nurse and her is different

I never said they're similar. My point is that without practice the most powerful killer in the game is #########, why you guys think that you should be good on the new killer at first try? Maybe with practice she proves to be on Hillbilly/Nurse level but you'll never know if you just label her as a bad killer.

You know how you know it's a mediocre ability? There are no survivors screaming that the killer is OP. We're going on, what, 6 hours of PTB now and already survivors are figuring out how to avoid this power. As it is it's just not very good. I don't think it would take much to make it good but, as it is right now, it's just not.

This. A thousand times this. Having the counter figured out so quickly and needing to spend even more time then that to find practical usage is not the definition of a good power. Just watching Twitch streamers play and I can't help but think that The Spirit isn't doing a whole lot more than The Wraith can do.

Now, will I play her and have fun? Probably. However, I don't appreciate being mocked by Survivors because they know I can't do anything to them.

Never considered that people still have to figure out how to play her? The Nurse in the hands of a noob would get rekt by any survivor for the simple fact that survivors know how to use their characters but that doesn't mean she's bad (on the contrary). There's an experience gap between the two roles. That's why people should get experience with the Spirit before giving judgements.

  • Literally unplayable

People are allowed to engage in debate..unless you're a killer main. I forgot. Then no matter what you're doing you're whining or crying. That's what's ridiculous. I've seen several well thought out posts just shutdown or invaded by survivors who add nothing to the conversation but name calling and insults. Were some people just whining? Sure but not everyone was but they were still attacked by survivor mains and just outright DISMISSED by devs.

Sorry but to me that's what's ridiculous.

1 hr in: "KILLER IS OP"
Killer mains: Stop with the kneejerk reactions!

1 hr in: "KILLER IS UNDERPOWERED"
Killer mains: We are expressing intelligent opinions!

I will say, in their defense, that they're usually better at determining whether or not something is going to be OP than Survivors are. Remember the Nightmare nerf?

I remember "killer mains" complaing about No Mither (No Mither ffs!) when it was leaked, so they're kinda even.

I remember Survivors complaining about Thanatophobia and Ruin. It happened just last week. I also remember I wrote "usually". Killer mains are still human, and therefore prone to error.

I said they're even in fact. We are all people, maining one side doesn't make anyone more or less whiny then the others.

Obviously both sides are prone to error. I'm just saying, in my experience, Killers seem better able to discern whether something is good or bad from its description alone, relative to Survivors.

In any case in my the OP I'm not pointing to one side in particular, as someone before made it look like.

Still, cleansing all totems (which takes a lot of time to find them all) just for having a Devour Hope with 4 tokens respawn randomly with no way to know where is a terrible design.

The point is that you shouldn't try to unhook yourself when the killer is near. It's like getting the winning ticket, throwing it in the trash and then expect to receive the reward.

What choice do you have when the exit gates are open, everyone's been slugged, and he's standing there just waiting for you to get off the hook so he can get his extra points and easily eliminate you from the game entirely, or wait until you go into phase 2?

In that case you lost, get over it. No amount of luck should give you a free escape, but at least you get 1500 BP for unhooking youself.

It goes against the lore. Killers are not allowed to kill unless the Entity gives them permission in the form of the offerings.

I remember they were trying to implement mori as a base kit for killers though? Am I incorrect or did they just give up?

Only the Cypress one, iirc, but they mentioned this once or twice and probably have scrapped the idea.

  • It goes against the lore. Killers are not allowed to kill unless the Entity gives them permission in the form of the offerings.

  • Hasten Yourself is interesting, but imo Take Charge could be a possible rework for Leader and Find Your Way could be the additional effect on We're Gonna Live Forever everybody ask

  • You realize how much work it would require to readjust the lightning for all the maps in a way that doesn't look like crap? As much as I like the idea, it's not possible. It's more feasible to ask for a new ultra dark and spooky map.

  • Be happy, the PTB experience is usually quite terrible, with long ass queue times and people being dicks with their ultra rares and stuff knowing they don't loose anything. I usually play it a bit for the first 2 days to see and judge the new stuff, but then it becomes literally unplayable and I switch back.

  • There's no secret policy about the PTB, all its content is public and you can tell and show everyone.

  • Honestly I don't exactly know why the designers made it this way, but imo killers need a way to keep addons (except ultra rares for obvious reasons, but rares ones might be excluded too or have a chance to be lost still). My idea is that every 2 survivors killed they get to keep an addon, starting from the most common one.

  • With the premise that I don't like SC and I know it can be strong, I'd like to add a couple things:

    • the base healing time is 12s as far as I know. It doesn't change the comparison with other perks, but still it means SC takes 20% more time than you think.
    • SC has the disadvantage of forcing a survivor to stay in a location for a long time. This makes him more vulnerable and is a big disadvantage: imagine being unhooked: if you get healed you can run away after 12 seconds, if you self heal first you need to find the right place, and then you need to stay there for a long time, giving the killer ample time to find you.
    • Your comparison with WMI is wrong imo. 4 survivors using Self Care take 24 s to be all healed. That means the killer ideally could down them all in 24s. But one survivor with WMI can heal (alone) another one is 6 seconds: that means that after that time the survivor is back in action. In 18 seconds 3 survivors would already be healthy and operative, and this not counting cooperative actions that would make this time even shorter. So even just one WMI is way better than 4x SC.

In any case I think proposing to reduce SC healing speed to 25% is ridiculous. Even just 40% would make a difference in time efficiency, because in that case being healed would always be better than self-healing, especially if you take into consideration gen repairs (you could repair more if you first get healed and then cooperate with the other survivor instead of letting him repair alone while you heal yourself).
About the removal of skillchecks: no. It would make Self Care even safer since skillchecks bring the risk, although small, to reveal your location to the killer.

  • You don't consider that maps are not open areas, so survivors must turn sooner or later and the killer, by simply cutting them off, gains a lot of ground.
Besides, just increasing the speed would just lower a lot the skill ceiling for those killers.

it should make sense because survivors are in madness that they lose sense of what is real or not

Yes, but an illusion is an illusion, for them it might seem real but it's not. From "pushing survivors into madness" to "teleporting randomly in front of them" it's a big step. Too big.
There's already the Hag for that btw.

It's suppose to be strong I mean hello it's a Ultra rare addon. I mean if you are talking about killer similarities then just look at Leatherface and Hillbilly. This add on would make survivors fear The Doctor and it would give an incentive for the doctor to raise the madness levels of all survivors in the map instead of tunneling one person at a time

While we're at it let's make the Hillbilly go invisible while he uses his chainsaw and let Myers throw his knife.

Okay dude just because you don't like the idea doesn't mean you have to derail the conversation by being stupid. -.-

I wasn't derailing, I was just doing some examples since you seem to not understand my point of view.

I understand that when you don't like something from your point of view, you go and make a ridiculous out of the world of possibility suggestion hence, the derailing.

Since you still seem to not understand, my critique is that your idea is just slapping on the the Doctor an unrelated power similar to that of another killer. Addons should enhance a power, not changing it to something else totally unrelated to that character. The Doctor has nothing to do with teleporting, he can't do it and never will because that is not his power.

Doctor has illusions of himself due to his power and i'm proposing a ability that enhances that power. Your statement makes no sense.

To me it doesn't make sense for the Doctor to teleport. That's the point.
A way to enhance the illusion would be to give them a heartbeat and make them follow the survivor and try to attack him if near.

  • In those situations I find useful to admit that I probably won't win. I end up enjoying the match more and with a calm attitude it's even possible to turn the tide since you will make less mistakes. Talking about mistakes, always try to recognize them and not blame anyone else, it will help you get better.

Little advice about bodyblocking: a good tactic is to pretend you're going to a hook so that they will try to anticipate you, and as soon as they do it you change direction and switch to another nearby hook,. Most of the times they won't be able to reach it to block you, especially if you avoid to hit them.

  • I agree, that requirement makes the perk totally unreliable and serves nothing

  • I agree, having some new perks to shake a bit the current meta would be appreciated. The last survivor that introduced a perk that entered/expanded the meta was David King, so it's been a while...

  • I know I am.

  • Unfortunately the sound design is deeply tied with the gameplay, that's why there's no way to personalize settings. If you problem is caused by screams you can use Calm Spirit as survivor, but otherwise I don't see what else it could be done. Even if it's just disabling screams, unless other people with your same problem speak out they won't make changes that could potentially have repercussions just for one person.

The man who slits her in the clip is her father he calls her daughter in japanese so no slit woman
