irony that i know more programming languages than you, tho you probably dont know any at all lol

comedy gold from these salty survivor mains

LOL the only salty one here is you. You really think the devs wouldn't pushed through a change because they are scared of fake reviews on their game?

Except that is exactly how the unregulated reviews work on steam. The issue is that most potential buyers won't read the reviews. Steam has so much ######### in its library these days that people browsing will immediately pass over a game without a positive score from a developer they don't recognize.

Because the PTB would be over by the time the console version got approved.

    accurate
You do realize you can schedule testing right?
It isn't accurate by any stretch of the imagination.
So hold up all the release dates by not being able to test patches on top of holding up the PC version to release at the same time as console for no reason. Got it.
  • Because the PTB would be over by the time the console version got approved.

As we have told you before, no offense, but your internal dev team do NOT represent the playerbase with your rank15-20 gameplay. you need to have a team of vets (not streamers) of both sides, to discuss potential changes and test them, cuz logic.

The "Play with the Devs" event was very enlightening.

Not a whole lot of options sometimes though.

Your options are to either finish the Gen or one of you dies, get good pls that's so cheap

Maybe watch the video. I tried that.

There was no way we could get the gen done against an overcharge hag like that. That's on us, sure, but there is no need to get so salty when given the option to kill a Survivor.
  • Not a whole lot of options sometimes though.

Tried to play it out fair, but the killer was too sweaty.

They can’t just remove the perk because it belongs to a licensed character. They’re not stalling, it takes time and hard thinking.

Weird how that had no barring at all when they changed StBFL.....

When they increased the time on hook, it helped a lot against camping. I guess they can add 10-20 more seconds if it were to become an issue. But let's be honest, who's gonna stay and camp, while the other survivors are doing all the gens. I mean that's not a fun game, it's all about the chase.

That change did nothing to help camping. All it did was to incentiveze gen rushing even more. No reason to leave a gen when the guy on the hook has more time to hang there.
  • Sinner said.

Increase the range to something like "when they are further than 70 meters" or make the aura only 2 seconds. This should make those killers less op.

Well at least they nerfed hook distance, buffed sabotage, and basically removed slugging.
This will be so much fun!
    /S

Indeed. I don't mind faster recovery as much as up to 95% recovery. Didnt we have that changed down to 85% from that before? It sounds familiar.
  • Honestly, I don't think there is a way to be happy with any meaningful changes to this mistake of a perk. Just nuke it from orbit and give Laurie something completely different.
  • So NoED wouldnt trigger until 60 seconds after the gens are done and it only takes 20 seconds to open a gate.... K.
  • It's only for an emblem, and who cares about those really, but the principal of the change is disconcerting. It's not like a camper was going to pip anyway, so why this change?
  • It's within 8m of the husk. People confuse that with the terror radius because that is what was promised at the end of the PTB, but that didn't happen.
  • Boss said:

Those seconds add up real fast.
If you always successfully end chases and be able to hook everyone twice, you add a very nice 40 seconds for them to waste healing.
And that's not including bodyblockers, failing chases, etc. Those also add up a lot.

This. Not to mention that those couple extra seconds can mean the difference between catching a Survivor healing and downing them quickly or wasting more time finding a Survivor that just finished healing and needs two hits to down again.
  • Not Alt+F4ing as soon as a Survivor is hooked. Reeeeeeee!
  • Oooh, this sounds like a fun mini game. Each Survivor has a flashlight and if they tag another Survivor during a chase, the killer has to switch chase targets.

     Bond shouldn't be allowed though.
  • Awesome, unique music.

The payoff for stalking is well worth the downside of needing to build it up.

Survivors have to respect the EW3.
  • Not sure why you are complaining now. Rank 1 has always had terrible ques. People derank for a reason.

I just jumped from rank 5 to 4 last night and the difference was immediate.
  • It's supposed to disorient you during a chase. Working as intended.
  • Survivors in the end chat complaining about tunneling. Always good for a laugh.
  • @HellDescent said:
Then you can imagine how killers feel when survivors dc and you lose bbq stacks, offerings and addons

Except that isn't how it happens. I play killer more and you do not lose nearly as much than as a survivor and in this case even more so. I guess I can claim WGLF stacks since you're claiming BBQ and like survivors don't use offerings.....

You mean those add-ons that killers always lose no matter what(without a ward), that BBQ stacks they will never now get, and all the points from hooking, hitting, chasing, and sacrificing that Survivor? Sure, Killers don't lose anywhere near as much as Survivors on a DC....

And you can't claim WGLF stacks because you can get those from literally any other Survivor.
  • WGLF got nerfed because lobbies ques were destroyed by Survivors earning more BPs than Killers and farming for stacks was out of control.

Calling Distressing a farming perk. And so many Survivors are running No One Left Behind too, amiright? LMAO

BBQ was always a stack system and I have no idea how you think killers are getting more stacks by camping.

Are you aware that "darkest moonlight" isn't working anymore?
It's just a wasted offering…. but hey, your the pro. thumbup

Works just fine on the older maps still. I doubt it works on any that were released after they were removed from the website.
  • And adrenawin too? Damn. Please tell me that third perk is BBQ at least.
  • Indeed. I never see any Survivors just leave a half done gen. They always just camp it and tunnel it to completion. They really are just bad at the game.

Don’t be mad bro it just takes some time to get better
I leave gens all the time. Someone has to go save the loopers' asses when they can't figure out what to do when all the pallets are used up.
  • Indeed. I never see any Survivors just leave a half done gen. They always just camp it and tunnel it to completion. They really are just bad at the game.
  • Still have yet to see a Spirit do something that a Wraith couldn't do as well, if not better.
  • The streamers I watch at least have the decency to play the whole match through and then DC when they could have just run out the exit gate. I think as far as non toxic streamers, it's more about providing more content than Lobby Simulator 2018 and less about bullying noobs.
  • Yeah, I've been playing a lot of rank 1 Survivor recently and the gens are usually all done by the time the killer get their second hook. I'm seeing a lot more 3+ blink, ebony Mori nurses. As much as it sucks to play against them, I can't really fault the killer because that's what it takes to play at the rank 1.
  • Actually got a game in with her using StBfL, Stridor, Rancor, BBQ used green speed and recovery add-ons as well. Interesting match and not as terrible as I thought it would be, but the 3 man SWF was way too altruistic and it wasn't anything my Wraith couldnt have done about 3 times better.
  • It's to help reward dangerous unhooks. Good change.

    FIFY
  • I admit I went pretty try hard to last as long as possible during matches as a Survivor (rip Killer ques). Unfortunately, a Survivor tryharding is way more oppressive than a killer tryharding. I think I've use more insta heals in the last weekend than I've used in months.
  • You actually have to wait till the unhook is finished and pray that they dont have sprint burst ready.

No point praying, they definitely will have it up since the devs shadow-implemented the complete recovery of exhaustion when hooked.
  • I teabag other Survivors for doing dumb ######### all the time.

Take that you stupid Dwight who started running at 99% heals and got moried immediately. *And of course his ######### SWF buddy DCed immediately as well.*
  • She already does. It's called Grudge. It's pathetic point-wise though.

It's 500 points if I recall correctly, but the window to achieve it after phase walking is rediculously small.

Like I said a million times, there hasn't been a good survivor perk since David King. Yet killers have been getting at least 1 good perk every single chapter.

Dance With Me, Tenacity, Stake Out, Pharmacy, Vigil.

Just because Survivors refuse to branch out, doesn't mean their perks suck.

Dance with me - one trick pony that requires several perks to work. Even then it’s not good. Tenacity - requires several perks to even have A CHANCE of working. Maybe every ten games... but unbreakable by itself would’ve worked if the killer left you there. Stake out - it just isn’t good. Pharmacy - can’t even go above green, straight up locks it. Also, useless if teammates search chest. It’s chest effects should be added to plunderers, and this should be some healing buff involving medkits. Vigil - used to be useful. Now it ain’t.

Keep in mind there’s tons of perks that have been released with these, with a so many being bad.

Sounds like Survivors just want four perks that each win them the game on their own.

Tenacity works everytime on it's own whenever the killer decides to slug unless they have Deerstalker. Unbreakable only works once and requires the killer to come back to the same location. Tenacity let's you lose the killer on the ground and get picked up quickly later.

Stake Out does real work. Turning every skill check into a 5% increase of progress. It destroys all these camping and three gen strats Survivors keep complaining about.

Pharmacy also doesn't drop below a Green either. Not to mention it protects you from the very unsafe location in the box with faster and quieter actions.

Vigil still does exactly what it's supposed to do. Just because you can't use it to kite the killer forever anymore doesn't mean it's a bad perk.

Killers also got complete blanks as far perk go.

  • If Autodidact is too powerful now, then We'll Make It must be broken as hell. The most likely time you'll be healing someone is after and unhook and it saves just as much time as a skill check from Autodidact at 5 tokens.
  • To bad the only answer to those two Killer examples is: Play Nurse.

    Don't run DS.
Use the fact that Rancor tells you exactly where the Killer is.
Don't stick around when the gates are open.

    EZ

Edit: Also Sole Survivor does literally nothing since Rancor isn't aura reading.

I don't EVER run DS. Even when Im forced to do a Laurie Daily Ritual.

I run stealth perks and evasion/premonition perks. I dont run obsession perks. Ever.

Rancor lets the killer know where you are also. Its a double edged sword while the dull side is for the killer.

Rancor isn't aura reading? Why do i see the killer's aura when a gen is popped? So there is no counter to it. Thats totally balanced....

So accept that you were the odd man out if no other Survivor ran an Obsession perk and move on.

What the killer sees isn't aura reading. It's just a static bubble that gives your location for a couple seconds. Just like Screams with the Doctor. Move away from your location when a gen pops. Countered.

  • Very unlikely since Valve owns Bill. What cosmetics would you even get by the way? It's not like Bill's outfit ever changes in L4D, afaik.
  • While I don't disagree, it's kind of a catch 22 since Survivors spawn on the totem more often than not.
  • It's listed as a known issue in the patch notes.
  • Only if the decoy turns into a log from a puff of smoke when hit.

Yep, she seems low tier to me. Sad, because I had high hopes for her.

She is okay with the best add-ons, but without add-ons she's very low tier

she now have a massive sound indicator when she is phasing, mindgame potential has been ruined

Wait what do you actually mean with sound indicator? Is there like a skill-check sound or what?

When you use your haunt ability and go toward a survivor it sounds like a jet engine approaching from their end.

    And about half as subtle.

Exactly. I was looking forward to it because it was interesting once you got up a few stacks. Now it's strictly worse than WMI unless you have a few stacks and and two skill checks pop up.

Strictly worse? How do you figure? WMI provides a higher, but temporary buff. Autodidact is permanent.

It's not often I find Survivors who were left injuried and not on a hook. Also WMI lasts for ages after an unhook. I'll still try Autodidact out, but they think they went a little too far on the nerf.
