Known exploit. Be thankful they were generous and didn't use a Splinter to force you into a perkless DLC killer.
-
Sure, if you ignore SWF telling each other where the killer is, what gens they are working on, where all the totems are, what pallets have been used, and which doors are opening. To name but a few.ad19970 said:@Tzeentchling9 said:
Built in Kindred, Bond, Empathy, Object of Obsession+Sole Survivor, Alert, Small Game, Detective's Hunch, Windows of Opportunity, Wake Up, and Open Handed is a good start to getting Solo Survivors up to the same power level as SWF.That seems a bit extreme, doesn't it? I agree with the first three, Kindred, Bond and Empathy, the rest are way too much.
Honestly Kindred is the main advantage swf survivors have, Knowing what other survivors are doing while someone is hooked is such a help. -
So why did I get it as a Survivor a while back?

I loved that theme song too. Very "Ghost of Christmas Future"ish.
-
You know the Killer can have obsession perks too, right?
-
Are there patch notes somewhere?

Previous events: "OMG event offerings aren't appearing frequently enough in the Bloodwebs!"
Current event: "OMG! I have too many event offerings!1!1!!1" -
He got hit by the pallet, obviously.Whispers23 said:What the hell was that? Why did he drop him the second time?
-
So he is paying someone to give them access to his steam account to play DBD? Yeah, no way that could go wrong at all.
-
How quickly we forget how ######### stupid that was. Here is a refresher, try to imagine it only a second faster: https://www.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/7xsyoh/flashlightpallet_saves_in_192/
You want something like that, you need to DRASTICALLY decrease the pickup time further to compensate. -
Pffft, you can hear the chainsaw idling even when it isn't in use, nevermind when charged up. Sounds like stupid AF Survivors to me.
Edit: And the Huntress with Insidious still screams out her location with the stupid humming. I think you should start playing with your speakers plugged in, @TheEarthkin -
Speak for yourself, OP. I do just fine running Solo unless the Killer capitalizes on one of my ######### ups or another Survivor sandbags/farms me.

Devs: "Hey guys, we've changed dailies to need to take around three matches to complete, but the rewards are massive and satisfying."
Community: "Sweet, these are awesome!"
Devs: "Ok, now we are going back to ones you can complete in one match with pitiful rewards!'
Community: "....WHAT?"Seriously, all I saw for those dailies(Mori 3 people, Complete 7 gens, Open 3 gates, etc) was praise and gratitude because the rewards were so high. No idea why the hell the devs went back to pathetic dailies for seemingly no reason.

The thread mentioned on stream: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/27852/vial-issues#latest
You're welcome. -
-
I don't mind DS as much since I've adopted Admiral Bahroo's view on it.
Get hit by DS: "You managed to hit the space bar. I'm proud of you."
Survivor obviously misses DS: "Can't even hit space bar. What a shame."

*Imagines Dying Light effecting vaulting speed*
Seems fine. -
Meg Runner mask. Fight me.
-
It's because people would hack blood points when the game was first released.
-
It should, unfortunately it is still random wether or not you get skill checks. I wish Autodidact had a chance for more checks built into it. Giving a full heal without a single one is a massive feelsbadman.
-
Myers is immune to Aura Reading, Spine Chill, and Premonition while at Evil Within tier 1.
-
@PinkEricka so is looking down an exploit too? It would get the same result. I'm telling you that perfect timing still gets you the drop blind.
-
Except it doesn't work like that. You can still get the blind drop. I've had it happen to me. Unless you are saying I messed spamming R?PinkEricka said:
@Master Okay, let’s see if one of us has a misunderstanding here.Master said:@PinkEricka said:

@SpottedDog said: It's been here since patch 1.5 and more and more killers are ruining games with it. You literally just spamm the drop button on killer and because you're host, you always get the drop before the blind. It's such an annoying exploit that literally breaks the game I'm surprised more people aren't spamming the forums about it. Gentapping is fine though? also what is about the exploit of the animation lock?
@Master Gentapping isn’t an exploit lol. It take so hella long to complete it just gen tapping alone.
But dropping the survivor is? ok dude
@Master Yup. Only to avoid a blind.
Sounds like you need to adjust your timing.
So, in order to time a blind right and get a flashlight save, you have to shine the light in the killers face as soon as the animation is done right? Basically, when they’re almost out of the animation.
So as soon as the animation lock gets finished, all they have to do is spam the drop button.
As soon as they do that, you get a blind but not a flashlive save.
Sounds like an exploit in my book, but not a highly used one. -
Preach it. Every thread whining and crying about NoED only reminds me just how much ground a Survivor gains when hit. Survivors are basically free and clear once a gate is open except against Billy, Nurse, some Spirits, or an extremely lucky Hag/Huntress.

As far as camping being the best tactic, as shown by said tournament, it would require messaging the 4 Survivors in your Killer lobby and asking them not to bring any perks or add-ons. Otherwise, Borrowed Time, Kindred, et cetra come into the mix to really punish, or counter, camping.
No, it would require winning to be based SOLELY on kills vs escapes, which that tournament was. Give a different criteria, such the points based system that most other tournaments use, and other strategies become viable options.
-
Oh, I read your post. My rebuttal still stands.Radiant said:You guys are unbelievable... rly.
Have you at least read what I wrote?
Have you at least seen the video from the tournament?
lmao playing killer rly messes with braincells....
whatever ¯\_( ͠° ͟ʖ °͠ )_/¯ -
So in a tournament where wins were based on kills vs escapes, confirming the kills was the best strat?
You don't say.
Another round of comedy gold from the forum troll. -
Then how do Survivors still get the drop when I am spamming R?Chi said:@Tzeentchling9 said:
It's just as much an exploit as looking down. If the killer manages the drop, then you didn't time it right.Nah, you can time it perfectly, and the killer will be able to drop if they spam R.
-
It really doesn't do anything that looking down doesn't do, except open you to another chance for blind and losing 4 seconds of carry time. If the Survivor times it right, they can still blind you.Fenrir said:Did not know that was a thing im using it now thanks for complaining about it -
Revert the Self Care changes? So back to slower heals and more medkit efficiency? LMAO.
-
It's just as much an exploit as looking down. If the killer manages the drop, then you didn't time it right.
-
I love it when I hear a Nurse scream. It means a real match is about to happen and not just, "WHERE ALL DA WOOD AT?!?!"
-
Definitely not asset reuse.
-
They don't want to let on how low the percentages actually are.
-
Survivor is considerably easier. Just suck two and a half plants per match and you are set. Killer has to use 6 unique hooks.
-
I think Prestige has some sway on it. My P3 Spirit always has at least three in each web and my other characters usually only has one.
-
They said that they always intended for people to play with your friends and that Voice Comms weren't intended, but they can't stop them. "Cheat mode" still stands.
-
I don't think you can lunge while blinded, but you can definitely swing and hit people still.
-
Deadharding through beartraps was the intention of it from the start, there is nothing wrong with it.
What is an issue, is how pathetic the hitboxes are for the traps and how easy it is to go through most doorways with a trap in the middle of them. -
You seem to forget that every little Survivor nerf is the literal death of the game, everyone is abandoning it in droves, and the devs are blatantly, disgustingly, killer favored.
Meanwhile, every Killer balance change, "Adapt, baby killers." -
Radiant said:
oh someone deleted the life threatening post that said "take this guy out in a field and shoot him"
was nice, I really appreciate how out of mind killers main can be
Where did he say he was a killer main? Survivors can be tired of you spamming dumb ######### too.
-
Christ, be happy that you can interact with the flowers for 30 more vials why don't you?
-
You are kidding, right? Safety Woods is nothing but safe pallets at almost every rock. The only unsafe place is the middle by the tree.ScottJund said:Maps are the same? You joking? Have you seen how dead Sheltered Woods is? -
If it's in a harder to notice spot, usually yes. It's more likely that I will if it's a Wraith or Freddy.
-
Cute bait, but let's have a fun exercise anyway.
115%>110%
A couple seconds<15 seconds
One hit down>No one hit down
Faster movement with power
Sees Survivors, so can't mindgame self
-
The friendly killers are with the Survivors not running DS, instaheals, and 1 less hook offerings.
-
When you hit 30 vials as a killer, do you still get the extra points for hooking on the special hook?
-
Hot damn, I must be a God among rank 1 solo Survivors then.Jack11803 said:@Master said:

I think survivors forget, they aren't entitled to an escape.I think they forget looping is too easy, and abuseable.
I think they forget how big a pain in the ass pallets are.
I think they forget how many safety nets they get with there Meta Perks.
I think Survivors forget just how easy it is for them to win, yet whine and cry when killer gets a small buff either way.
You forgot about SWF

EVERYONE forgets about the solo lose rate.... solo players lose over 70% of matches at rank 1. They tie 20%. Which means they win..... 10%
