So when I started this project I thought it would be impossible but this strategy actually works 100% of the time and a lot of YouTubers talk about it.
So you need
1. Adrenaline
2. Sprint Burst or lithe
3. Prove thyself
4. DS, streetwise, or borrowed time
Item: at least 2 survivors with toolboxes
When you see the killer and the killer chases you, just run straight and use your exhausted perk. When you get hit just run straight again. This chase will always last at least 80 seconds if you did it correctly. 3 gens will always be done. One person goes for the unhook and one person gets chased while the other is glued to a generator. After the save the two survivors jump on a generator immediately. The last 2 gens will pop before the survivor getting chased is downed. Adrenaline goes off and everyone is healthy and the end gates are powered.
I have tested this with a 4 man and it works legitimately every single time.
It only works against bots who commit to 80+ sec chases , no good killer will commit for that long and against the top tier killers that strat is a joke it literally only works on wraith and trapper

Honestly self care is more time efficient since it only uses up one person's time rather than 2 people even without a medkit and botany knowledge.
Self care is fine as is but people do need to realize that it by itself is still more time efficient overall
Self-care is only good for the endgame when you have no one to heal you and you want to go for a save , other than that scenario you're just wasting time and if you would just find a gen and complete it then let a teammate heal you it's way better because you're not going all the way to a hidden part to heal and you both were right there on an objective anyways, when you run self-care you're trading health states for pallets because while you're hiding someone else is carrying you by running the killer, inner strength or second wind are way better than self-care
-
It relies on the stun which makes it weak, it's really not as strong as some people are suggesting, Lithe is a better exhaustion perk than smash hit because it doesn't rely on anything but a fast vault and you get a similar effect, smash hit will be a noob stomper perk

So... we can't even run away anymore unless the killer is close to us? This is what killer main YouTubers/Streamers seem to be saying. And I know how much the community likes to worship these people. But come on... I'm running out of options here guys. I already finished my Killer challenges. I need to work on my survivor challenges too. I just want to make sure I do everything the right way without being toxic.
Let me see if I got this right...
- No perks, that's toxic.
- No Keys. That's toxic.
- No Toolboxes, because "genrush".
- No Medkits, because healing shouldn't be "fast".
- No Flashlights, because that's toxic.
- Do not touch totems. Those belong to the killer. But, if there's NOED, I can't complain because I didn't "do bones".
- If the killer has started chasing someone, I must stop working on generators and stand still until the chase is over to avoid "genrush".
- I am not allowed to play with friends in public lobbies. Having friends is toxic.
- No pallet looping. That's toxic. All pallets must be thrown immediately BUT not on the killer because that's toxic too.
- Windows can only be used if they don't impede the killer. Otherwise they're toxic.
- Do not attempt to rescue someone off a hook unless they've already hit stage 2. You also have to be injured while doing it so that the killer doesn't lose any pressure.
- If the killer hits me when I'm hooked, that means I've been toxic and should kill myself immediately as I have ruined the killer's match.
- In the post game chat, I must thank the killer for killing me because it's always fun for me every game no matter what.
- If I ever escape, I must send a recording of it to the devs to show them how OP survivors are and they they must be nerfed and that I must be banned for exploiting.
- ((NEW!)) If I see the killer, I can't start running away unless they are already within lunge range. Running away too early is toxic.
Did I miss anything?
Loading into the game is toxic just uninstall
-
So what now you guys want to nerf running? This is getting ridiculous I'm just waiting for someone to suggest we start the trial with someone on the hook, Also he's telling the survivor what to do , there is no normal gameplay happening here he tells them to go to the edge of the map and hold w from a pretty far distance and of course if he makes up the situation to cater to his talking point it's gonna work.
-
What kills me is all these people in the comments who act like they know what platform the other players are on 🙄, different consoles show up as a globe for console players and windows store or stadia shows up as a globe for pc , so really nobody knows what the ######### they're talking about and want to feel high and mighty talking on here when they'll never truly know without a platform marker beside their name instead of a globe, this whole console vs pc war is bullshit because there are bad and good players on both sides of the coin and you can't judge people for their play because you don't know if they're trolling or doing a challenge/daily for points it's beyond me why people keep this up.
-
One thing people aren't even considering is all the different terror radius/chase music going on would make any platform totally ######### itself and crash your game almost instantly, it would take alot more than you realize for all those killer powers to be in play at once also, if they can't even add a patch fix without something else breaking then I couldn't imagine what would happen if this were implemented

I have been playing DBD now for almost a year and this is the first time I’ve ever seen this happen. I have an Xbox One. When I get struck by the killer and try to take off running by moving the joystick, my character will only run a few steps and then it’s like they are running into a wall and cannot move anymore.
What is going on here? Is anyone else having this issue?
That can happen When your run button starts to go out or also when your left joystick starts to go out , try changing controllers and see if it makes a difference

Nah the main issue with controller Blight is that the sensitivity on the lunge is borked and doesn't allow you to really adjust mid-lunge. Meaning you have to full commit to a direction with no way of flicking (or whatever you want to call the controller equivalent) and you don't even get nearly as much of an angle as M&K Blight players can with medium-high DPI. The sensitivity while rushing is mostly fine, though I personally think it still needs to be upped a smidge. There's something to be said in that controllers are still inherently less precise and controller Blight is naturally harder, but I'm very confident that improvements can be made to make the experience more on par with that of M&K.
Mandy's actually in the process of gathering as much information about the issues with controller Blight to pass off and make a stronger case to the team. I'm in the process of gathering my own clips and drafting a thread to make said information as clear and concise as possible, and I'm aiming for this Tuesday to get it all out at the latest.
So if anyone wants to provide some video feedback to add to that, LMK so I can @ you when I make the thread and you can add in your own clips.
That's not what I'm saying though I do agree with what you said , I have this game on three different platforms and I can have my console up to 100 percent and its like only what 50-60 would be on pc sensitivity even if I'm using the same controller on pc , I play with kb&m mainly but occasionally throw the controller on and set my tv to the monitor to kick back while playing, there's a pretty significant sensitivity difference between pc and the consoles
-
That's a hard no from me , I really like the concept and the way dead dawg looks with the walls but I feel like the ones on crotus prenn need to go , they should just graphically update the old maps and put breakable walls in new coming maps where it would fit the feel of the map I don't think they should scrap the walls but they should be more particular about when they use them and if it fits the realm
-
The only way you could ever achieve that is by making console on par with pc sensitivity wise, console sensitivity would literally have to double to be able to pull it off
-
I would say the hag is the most underrated killer, before freddy was buffed she had the highest kill rate but everyone seems to sleep on the hag and act as if she's not powerful.
Most underrated killer perk in my opinion is spies from the shadows due to how easily you can find survivors trying to stealth you
Most underrated survivor perk is probably between Kindred and Hope in my opinion

Just having a moan really as seem to keep getting him. Just had a game where I was knifed to death in the first couple of minutes from full health - seems broken to me
The tombstone piece is very strong and is really the only thing I would say nerf on him, judith tombstone takes a long time to use but the tombstone piece and the j myers memorial combo is just ridiculous, I especially hate it when playing solo and some other survivor thinks it's funny to tbag him on the other side of the loop and not actually try to break line of sight because they don't understand what type of potential add ons he has up his sleeve and they end up dying before a gen pops

They cannot but as long as your match is still going you can rejoin it and play out the end and not get a penalty. That idea wouldnt be terrible in dbd but i have a feeling it would be abusable. Imagine killer shows up at gen survivor dcs then respawns and finishes gen when killer is gone. Maybe allow a rejoin as a spectator not an active survivor to avoid penalty and bp loss.
Have it to where a bot shows up if they dc just like the mobile version of this game and as long as the match is going you can rejoin in place of the bot
-
You'd rather noob stomp some solos and feel like a better player than you actually are is the truth, swf CAN be broken but it's definitely not always and no matter what anyone says voice comms are absolutely fine and could even mess you up in some instances

@GravyRobbers85 said:
The majority of them just take it for granted you're gonna heal them there, and few use their brains to think to run off and seek cover. Healing the hook in most cases ends up in another needed hook rescue or a farm. This mentality only ends up adding more pressure to survivors and needs to stop.
If the killer is away busy with another survivor it's absolutely better to heal at the hook and then immediately go to a gen I'm sick of these people expecting me to waste time running halfway across the map to a dead end corner to heal them , its inefficient and annoying.
-
It's not even that it's toxic, I would say this is hands down the most entitled gaming community out there, it seems like alot of players can't stand losing and have to make every excuse imaginable for why they lost because it can't be that they did anything wrong 🙄, this is the community where you get reported just for outplaying someone and called a cheater for not doing exactly what they expect you to do. Having a brain is reportable.

So i've gotten pretty good at nurse on console, im pretty accurate besides an occasional blink that's too short and I need to get a bit better at using short blinks after blinking to get through objects on loops.
That said jesus christ basement at shack is just god awful, it is way too easy to blink into it and i just had 3 games in a row where it spawned there and most of the survivors started looping around it. Now i'm still learning how to accurately blink onto higher elevations and not blink down onto lower ones on accident but i swear i barely look down and the next thing i know i'm in it.
I'm legit at the point where im going to start using torn blueprint (spawns basement at main building) in most of my games just so i don't have to deal with it.
Recommendation from a nurse main, practice going around shack corner to corner in a KYF and get used to how your distance works, in a real match identifying what type of runner they are is one of the most important things you can do , do they double back or do they full send it? If they're a double backer you just blink to the last place you saw them instead of trying to predict ahead and then if you need the other blink you have it, a full sender is usually easy to catch but if they gain too much distance don't commit to a guessing game on blinks and rotate to gen patrol good survivors will try and send mixed signals and will sometimes do a little of both, thats part of what makes nurse difficult to master is being able to identify and keep in mind how each survivor in the trial runs tiles

This is exactly what I mean! Glad someone understands
So you think you shouldn't be able to post on the forums because you yourself have 10 posts? Lol I've got way too many hours in this game and even I'll say some of what they complain about is definitely warranted and it should be welcomed regardless of post amounts
-
It's fine to take a break but don't break your pc or you won't be able to play something else like the devs want in that situation
-
If they are body blocking then they aren't on gens and especially if it's multiple survivors it's really a better situation for you because you can deal some damage without having to worry about 3 gens going off

Lately I see a lot of killers with 32 meters and now with The Trickster it is 24 meters, will we ever have new killers that are 16 meters or less? With the exception of Myers and Huntress, I feel that they would bring new sensations of the game to be more attentive and restless above all. There should be more stealth killers in my personal opinion (No stalkers)
It sounds nice but with that type of terror radius you can almost guarantee that it will be a m1 killer with alot of downsides and not worth playing.
-
When I'm in a swf nobody DCs but when I'm solo it seems like the first person caught will either dc or struggle on hook immediately if they were downed within the first 20 seconds

This is what I saw and what I discovered when I saw their stream.
Devotion 53 and player level 70.
I went to check their hours on the game since that is a LOT.
But after I went to a page to see when the account was made and stuff.
Not even a year that account was made, 7 legacies and every killer and survivor had 300 items/addons just 300
That sounds like a hacker and I would report them I didn't see this comment until I made the other one already
-
@OldHunterLight said:
Very curious on that, and by that I mean streamers or your friends or whoever you know that plays this game THAT much.
Edit: this is for something that just happened to me against a ttv with devotion 53 lvl70.
I wanna know if this seems possible.
I'm a devotion 33 and I have a friend who is about to hit 40, for devotion 52 he must do dbd for a job streaming for cash that's the only way

Like, yeah for the graphics its beautiful but come on. Every time this map spawns in its already a victory for the killer. No loops, 3 junglegyms, 4 pallets that are usually used the 1st minutes of the game. This one really needs a rework
I really wish they would put a tree house main building or tree shack I think something as little as that would make it feel alot better playing on that map
-
Stats don't mean anything because there are too many variables that can affect the stats in this game , they aren't targeted enough to be used as evidence and even the devs will admit that if stats are being thrown up in arguments

Depends on the survivor OP is facing.Respecting pallets CAN be good if the survivors keep camping the pallets
Yea but if they're good survivors that's going to make them chuckle and they'll make pallets last 2-3 times longer than they should've , anytime I'm in a match and someone calls out they respect pallets I know that's a easy W
-
@Phasmamain said:
You can’t but it’s actually good for you as the survivor isn’t making distance
This is true right here also don't avoid the pallet because that's how you end up looped at one pallet the whole game and especially if you're a m1 killer, your best bet is to not respect any pallets and force them to waste it and maybe give brutal strength a try since it speeds up your break time and gives them a shorter window to blind , or you could just run lightborn and eliminate flashlights all together

You don't need social media, I don't use it either.
Their twitter however is on the right side of the forums and you can click on any one of them for the details:
Oh ok, I'm on my mobile for the forums so I can't see anything from twitter on here lol I need to log in on my pc

No. Literally all we ever know is what we assume from previous releases, and what you see on that twitter feed on the right pretty much.
So you know as much as the rest of us :P
Figures haha I'm old school I don't have any social media because I'm a loser I guess, so I wasn't aware if they had released any information on it.

Thanks for the replies everyone! I'm out to buy a new one now I'm done spamming ######### on a keyboard

@MandyTalk @Rizzo90 do one of you care to weigh in on the subject I don't want to get banned for buying a gaming mouse that the eac doesn't approve of

@Dabihwow said:
It depends, I own a razer naga which comes with three side options. A regular mouse looking pad for it, a keyboard pad, and a circular pad. Whats cool about the circular one is that you can code it for DBD to do 360s as a survivor. If your looking for durability, go for a logitech mouse. I'm not sure that answers your question though but I don't know much about computer mouses. I do know of a rattx mouse thats adjustable, but expensive as hell.
I heard somewhere that using a struggle or wiggle macro will get you banned is this true? That's the main reason I want it is so I don't have to replace another keyboard from button smashing

Im bumping this because I still need to know the answer, if someone could please respond if you know anything about this it would be appreciated I don't want to get banned

As a neutral, I swear if I see another politicised sjw or right-wing character, I am going to lose it, it's a video game, this is why there is fandom so that eveyrone can be happy, just have the drag queen design as a skin, not the default, the others have to buy it to look different, why not them also?
Who cares? If it bothers you that much don't buy the chapter, it's not like a gay character is gonna ruin the game or have actual catch phrases to insult your beliefs while in the game , it's honestly nonsense that people are upset about this when there is so much more to be upset about with the game
-
@Orion said:
1 - The same could be said about literally any trait. Note that the devs have never used that excuse, so this is not a real concern in any way (meaning it's not evidence-based).
2 - Politicians will use literally anything to get votes. Whether that's campaigning on hate and discrimination or acceptance depends on the politician, but this is a moot point.
Honestly whether someone is gay or not doesn't affect anyone on here I don't see an issue with it at all, and the whole political argument is nonsense because there are people from the LGBTQ community in both parties
-
I honestly couldn't give 2 ######### what the character identifies as I'm gonna p3 50 them regardless, I'm honestly curious on how they would do the voice acting for it though not trying to offend anyone but would it be a higher pitched male voice if it were they were a male identifying as a female? Or would they just make a female voice and put it in the lore? Either way it doesn't matter but I mean one can question without offending anyone I hope.

Actually that's not true I used to think the same but my son plays fortnite and when they have events like this you can kill the boss and obtain a power up that's like super powered , when marvel was the last event they could kill a AI boss and obtain their power to use against other players, it wouldn't surprise me if they did the same with this event .
-
@The_Nightmare69 said:
The game is still very much bugged,
earlier today I had a survivor floating around the map, collision is still a major problem I keep getting slammed by pallets whilst I'm 10 meters away and for some reason it is possible to blind the killer by just shining at his general direction. I was looking at a wall whilst picking up a survivor but still got blinded.
The gunslinger appears to have a literal sniper rifle I got hit with his rope dart through a wall for some reason
Deathslinger has always been able to do that , I like to shoot through the window that is boarded up on the back side of shack , if you can see clearly through it you can probably shoot them through it even if it's not a access point , I've pulled off some pretty crazy shots through some tiny holes in walls and loops etc...
-
If the killer wants to camp then they will it's as simple as that , at that point they only care about the one person on the hook so they probably aren't gonna care anyway about the rest until that one kill is secured but my point being they don't care about losing or they wouldn't be standing in front of the hook not pressuring the gens

I said 10 - 12 not 13
My son plays it and he's 9 so that logic is flawed , asking for FNAF in dbd is about like asking for the guy from hello neighbor to be killer it's just not scary and has a completely different feel to it that makes it seem more child friendly
-
Maybe it's just me but my stuff has been working fine since the update
-
I wouldn't listen to anyone I had a killer complain at me for running balanced landing on haddonfield when the map was randomly spawned and nobody played it , I get that it's a good map for BL but the perk itself isn't strong anymore and is arguably one of the worst exhaustion perks since being nerfed
-
One thing to remember is not to get carried away with blinks it's so easy to do and to play nurse good you have to almost have a methodical approach and what I mean by that is when you're in a chase let your blinks fully recharge before trying to pursue and be patient when you're coming out of a blink and take a second to evaluate whether you need to use the next blink or to fatigue and recharge the blink for a better situation. Sometimes it's better to just follow for a second and evaluate how theyre running and what tiles they're leading you to.
Also the main thing to identify is whether they like to double back or full send it , are they looking behind them? One way to gauge this is to blink right behind a survivor or where you last saw them you'd be surprised how many people will try and double back on you , once you identify what type of runner they are it should be easy pickens from there on how you should approach an attack with that survivor band that's part of what makes her so hard is having to figure all four survivors out and adjust depending on who you chase and once you master that you'll be smacking people around left and right.
-
Let me play you a song
