Wait what? How will giving Survivors more bloodpoints mess up the balance? That makes absolutely zero sense to me.Jack11803 said:@xxaggieboyxx said:

Sounds like you really want to buff survivors...
Buff their point gain. Yeah, I know it’ll totally ruin the balance and make thousands of killers cry. (It already has)
-
Just loop him. Easy.
-
This is something that Monto would probably do. He's probably already got plans for a video like this.
-
Buff Leatherface. We shouldn't have to nerf the strong Killers, we should have to buff the weaker ones. Nerfing the strong Killers will only end up making more unviable Killers.
-
What he needs is either a movement speed increase while charging his shock therapy or make the Moldy Electrode (25% increased range) or the Polished Electrode (50% increased range) part of his base kit without the charge time increase (or at least not as much as it would be if you ran one of the add-ons). This would help Doc be less reliant on add-ons. The current shock range, along with the fact that you move slower than a Survivor while charging up the shock (I think your speed is decreased from 110% to 87.5%) means that unless you're right on top of a Survivor, it'll be much harder for you get a shock in. Now the add-ons might have to get looked at if the base range is increased to make sure that running them would not make shock therapy OP.

Madness needs to be reworked. Once you're in 3, you're an E-Z Tunnel Oven to death without Calm Spirit. For starters, being unhooked and stuck in 3, and constantly screaming, is bullshit.
Madness doesn't need a rework because it is a way to slow the game down. That Survivor isn't going to be doing any gens because they want to get to a safe place to snap out of Madness 3. Another Survivor might be nearby to heal the one that just got saved. That's two Survivors that aren't working on gens. At this point you can either put both Survivors in Madness 3 and leave one on the ground until you can hook the second or you can ignore the healthy Survivor and keep going after the injured one. Either way, the game is being slowed down, and it's without Ruin.
The Killer is already going to be coming back to the hook once a save is made, so unless the Killer doesn't find you quickly or decides to go after someone else, you have a high chance of being found even without Madness 3.
-
This is most likely a scrubby troll who loves his items too much and likes taunting the Killer during the endgame. This also is his very first post on these forums, which makes it even more likely that he is a troll.

-
Are any of the Survivors running Deliverance?
-
Yeah, how about no.
The Killers do not care about how their prey feels and BHVR would have to rework the game entirely (It's really easy for Survivors to loop Killers for the entire game, so reducing the base speed of the Killers would make them unplayable). Also, these Killers are supernaturally powered by the Entity.
-
If I had to guess, BHVR didn't test this at all or they did and didn't change it because they wanted to make sure that Survivors wouldn't whine their butts off and review bomb the game.
-
The first version of the hatch closing function was good. It just needed two simple things: a base Left Behind effect (repair speed could be increased anywhere between 75% and 200%) and after X amount of seconds (maybe somewhere between 100 and 200 seconds), the Survivor’s aura is revealed to the Killer permanently in order to prevent the Survivor from going immersed and holding the game hostage.
But unfortunately the eight year old Scrubvivors whined and moaned because their free win was gone and got BHVR to give in again and change it so they had an easier win. -
It’s just really, really crappy RNG. It was in the Shrine once in early November 2017 and it hasn’t appeared again.
-
Either Up the Ante, Pharmacy, or We’ll Make It (might be too common though, I’m not sure).
-
You have a slightly better chance of getting items of a higher rarity.
-
pebble
-
She just came out a few hours ago and you’re already demanding nerfs. The infinite fix was needed because it made it impossible for Killers to catch Survivors at certain spots. Your whining already got an unecessary hook saving and a DS buff, what more do you want? Do you want a button that instantly repairs all five gens and opens the gates and hatch? You need to stop crying and actually give the new patch some time.
-
I will go for Jake first because I’ve been noticing more players saboing hooks to 99% and then breaking them when I have a Survivor on my shoulder, so I don’t want take any chances.
Whenever I’m Doctor, I’ll prioritize Survivors who are running Calm Spirit. -
Lol you want to see a slug meta? The hooks are like this for a reason.
-
Lol not with how bad totem spawns are. It’s more like extremely high risk and low reward. You have to pray that Survivors don’t find your totem within a minute or that you manage to successfully defend it long enough to swing the game in your favor. Even then Devour Hope is completely useless until it gets two stacks. It only gets dangerous at three stacks.SenzuDuck said:@SnakeSound222 said:
I’d be down for this. The totem should not be able to even be cleansed until the Killer has at least two stacks active. They are risk vs reward for a reason.
You can't just have a hex protected until x is accomplished because then there is almost no risk for the killer to use it. -

-
I don’t think that’s the problem here. I think the OP’s problem is that even the shortest delays will kill you and that quickly hitting the struggle button over and over again until you die or get saved isn’t good for your fingers at all.Orion said:The idea is to stress you out. You are, after all, about to die. Seems like it's working.
-
It’s not, the wiki just uses the old perk rarity system for nostalgia and to make it easier to tell the tiers apart.
-
I’d love one, especially if it included more than just the original characters. I would like to see parts of it filmed in IMAX 3D. It would be really cool to see a Survivor step into a bear trap and then look up to see the Trapper grab them (this would be from the Survivor’s POV). Billy could swing his chainsaw and it could come out of the screen, along with the Survivor’s blood. Grabs could also look better in 3D from either side’s POV.
-
They meant trying to play with someone over and over again just to ensure that they have no fun at all. I can see players trying to twist this statement around and say “Oh you tunneled and I didn’t think it was fun, so I’m going to report you. Enjoy your ban”, which makes me glad that BHVR is ignoring reports for tunneling and camping.
-
Unfortunately, no. Not even in Madness 3. If you want to counter it, then you should bring a Restraint or Iridescent King add-on (Illusions aren’t effected by Calm Spirit) and/or patrol the hook until they die.
-
It’s probably because a lot of infinites got nerfed.
-
This is an interesting idea. But why in the world would the Entity bring a flare gun into a realm with creatures that do not particularly enjoy the light?
-
I would bring every Killer in the game to Billy/Hag level (because they are the most balanced Killers in the game), starting with the weakest Killers first (Freddy, Leatherface, Wraith, probably Spirit) and then moving on the other Killers that aren’t in desperate need of buffs.
-
If you're leaving the basement, looking around the map, and then going back into the basement, then no. That's just patrolling. However they'll still get salty and call it camping just because you are within 100,000,000 meters of the hook.
-
F13, a game that has a low playerbase and cannot have any new content added to it, just released dedicated servers. If F13 and Gun can support them, then DbD and BHVR can too.
-
Spoiler alert: the Killers are supposed to be stronger than the Survivors.ryguy said:And with this the survivors will take a huge nerf while the killers get even stronger. Where is the balance because this is looking completely one sided now. The killers are already faster. They can one shot you. Now it'll take a millennium just to heal yourself. Seriously, the survivors are getting slaughtered. It's not about "getting good". This seems killer oriented now. -
Yeah, it’s definitely fair and balanced that you don’t have to physically move your Survivor to take the hit if the Killer is near.Bravo0413 said:It's not as big a change as I thought it was our swing actually goes right through the unhooked and hits the savior so it's actually quite balanced and fair imo.. -
༼ つ ◕◕ ༽つ SUMMON THE CHAPTER. ༼ つ ◕◕ ༽つ
-
I was just about to make a thread like this.
This an awesome idea. Survivors should not be able to safely unhook whenever they want. This would also punish hook farming. The devs are just giving in to the entitled Scrubvivors who whined their asses off because the game was actually getting harder for them and they didn’t want to get good.
I think that the invincibility should not apply to unhooking yourself because you’re not supposed to be able to jump off the hook in front of the Killer and run away. If you unhook yourself in front of the Killer, then you deserve nothing except to get downed before you can regain control of your Survivor.
If you’re worried about camping, then you can punish the Killer by gen rushing or bring Borrowed Time instead of sitting there crouched waiting for an opportunity that will never come. -
Hopefully tomorrow.
-
What about us Halloween fans? I normally play Killer, but when I play Survivor I’d like to use Laurie because I love Halloween. I only DC if I have something else to do in real life.
-

OP, just do this unless you want to see Hag become unviable again. She is now in a good spot and she needs to stay there. -

I'm not even bad though lmao, I have been rank 3 survivor and killer, but there is so much to this game that is getting worse and worse. You can also get hardware banned for being good in this game and looping people for whole games remember that lol.Holy crap this actually isn't bait. It's just an OchiDO minion.
You guys need to realize that OchiDO is nowhere near the level of a god, stop worshipping, and like others have said, get good.
-
Good on Doctor, EW3 Myers with terror radius increase add-ons and perks, and builds with Coulrophobia, Unnerving Presence, or Overwhelming Presence.
It's ok on other Killers with a 32 meter terror radius unless you're a BP farmer. It's not good on Killers with a terror radius of smaller than 32 meters though.
-
I really don't know. Snap Out of It is a healing action, meaning perks like A Nurse's Calling and Botany Knowledge affect it, and so should Coulrophobia. The devs think it's OP, but what about the players? I'm surprised that they haven't tried to put it into a PTB (or maybe even the live build because the PTB ends up deserted within a couple of days) and see how the playerbase reacts. If it turns out to be too OP, then they can remove it in a hotfix or not put it into the live build. If not, then it gives Doctor another tool to slow the game down (even if it's just for a few extra seconds).

I hope so. I really hope that the delay we had with patch 2.0.0, Curtain Call, and Auric Cells never happens again.Yes... that was brutal.
PS4 had to wait just shy of 1 month to get it all. Insane.
I remember that on the day Curtain Call was supposed to be released, something happened and the DLC couldn't be bought until a few minutes before the double BP event ended. I was constantly checking my PS4 to see if I could buy the chapter.
I think PS4 Asia and Japan (I think Sony counts them as separate regions, even though Japan is part of Asia) might still be waiting for it. I'm not sure though.
-
Definitely! It works really good on Killers with a smaller terror radius and Doctor (Snap Out of It is counted as a healing action).
-

I don't think so. This game makes a lot of money and the devs probably have content planned until at least 2020.

USA, Virginia.

Sometimes I'll do it.
I can't believe you hit your screen! That had me dying!

I've been semi-following him since I started a couple months ago and he seems like a genuinely good dude. He has an "anti-toxic" approach to playing the game and I respect that. As far as the video goes. The survivors were just looking for attention because it was a big streamer. They were probably salty because they couldn't bully Tru3 and instead got owned. So they took their petty "vengeance" for cheap lulz. Saw him once escaping through the door after being saved by Meg.
She unhooked him, later on Meg needed help cause was on the hook, gates were open and he had the chance to rescue her (or at least create some sort of safe diversion), left without thinking twice.
Stopped watching him.
Spoiler alert: Survivors aren't meant to work as a team. They're just four people in the same place with the same goals. They are not required to save each other.
rewatch the video.I was talking about his last point. I have already watched the video.

Lol no you didn’t. Unnerving skill checks aren’t that hard to hit after a little bit of practice.
-
I like these changes. EW3 Myers plus at least two stacks of DH and NOED would be a speed demon and an end game monster. That would be 149% movement speed for 30 seconds after he hooks a Survivor.
-
No problem! I hope the devs see these threads and implement the ideas from them into the game.IronWolf115 said:@SnakeSound222 said:

A lighter and easier to use model of chainsaw. When charging the saw, killer does not suffer from reduced movement speed.
I think this would help LF hugely more than billy but would still be useful for both, not sure if it would be too powerful though?
This should be part of LF’s base kit.
I appreciate the plug!
