It means that you're being affected by the Unnerving Presence perk. You have a higher chance to have skill checks appear and their success range is reduced.

I'm pretty sure not all Ultra Rare add-ons are supposed to be extremely powerful. Besides, Doc already has Iridescent King for that.

Nope. Devs haven't added it to console yet. NotQueen said they want to add them but no eta.

Sony can indeed bann him, there are always ways if the devs really wanted to, but I guess they prefer the money over a healthy game
Ya man Sony is going to ban Ochido for body blocking in a random video game. Thanks for the laugh. Don't ever reproduce let this end with you xD
OchiDO got banned for witch hunting. If he does it enough times on PS4 and enough people complain, then Sony will have to take action. They'll only get involved if a LOT of people complain though.

Either way you must be new here so welcome.
In case you were not aware the survivors had the upper hand since day 1 and they still have but is not as brailess as before, still fairly easy to escape if you ask me.
What can i say ? GIT GUD thats the case hereHe actually is bad. He constantly makes posts about how OP Killers are and how hard it is to play Survivor.

For Survivors, no. Survivors are already strong. A fifth perk slot would be too much.
It could work for Killer though, even it's only for hexes. They need it, considering that Killers are basically going up against 16 perks and that totem spawns are garbage most of the time, which leads to the totem doing basically nothing but getting destroyed in the first 30 seconds and leaving the Killer with only three perks to use.
@BACKSTABBER said:
a 5th perk is strictly needed as reaward for prestige 3 or devotion levelsWhy? So it's harder for beginners? They already have it tough with other players purposefully deranking to 15 in order to bully them.
-
In order for the event to be extended, they need to push out a small update. They haven't done that yet. I'd like to think they'll release that update within the next day.

When a Survivor disconnects or doesn't load into a match, the Killer should not lose out on their BBQ stack. It is really stupid that Survivors can deny you at least 25% extra BP just because you managed to down them. This is something that should've been caught and fixed before the perk was released.then its a guarranteed 100% BP in every game for example. Dont get me wrong that idea is fantastic but i wonder how it could be abused (by making the survivors DC intentionally for example).
If you're talking about Survivors DC'ing right when the game starts, the Killer won't get that much BP (maybe around 12k) and the Survivors will eventually get banned.
If you're talking about a Killer intentionally trying to force the Survivors to DC, then that might just be an unfortunate side effect.
-
This is hilarious. Survivor refuses to get good, so they want to buff a perk that's already a huge crutch. Stop crying and get good.
-
When Doctor first released, he was slowed when switching stances and I'm pretty he didn't couldn't prevent a vault or pallet drop. He was also one of, if not the worst Killer in the game. He doesn't need to be nerfed, if anything, he needs buffs. Halfway decent Survivors can easily beat him. You need to stop crying, realize that you aren't entitled to survival, and get good.
-
Clown is balanced. You just need to stop crying that you actually have to try to survive and get good.
-
It's their failed attempt at blocking the Chinese spammers. Now they're either waiting or using multiple accounts.
-
It's their failed attempt at blocking the Chinese spammers. Now they're either waiting or using multiple accounts.
-
It's because there's more Survivors than Killers, and instead of trying to make sure that both sides have a fun experience, they try to make the Survivors as happy as possible in order to get more money. Whenever Killers get a buff (after months of being ignored because the devs "don't see a problem"), the Survivors review bomb the game on Steam and threaten to quit/actually quit to get BHVR to change it. And guess what, they end up getting their wishes granted in the next update because the devs are absolutely terrified of losing even a penny. Unfortunately at this point we just have to pray that whatever buff Killers get is not undone because of whiny Survivors.
-
We did have a good hatch fix in PTB 2.0.0a, but BHVR gave in to the whining Survivors and restored their free win. If we can't have that back, then I would like to see something where if the Killer is within a X amount of meters the hatch will close and stay closed until the Killer is out of range. However, I won't be surprised if the hatch stays as a free win because of all the Survivor crybabies.

Ok so I guess making it to 5 while barely playing killer in a season is sooo hard , sorry I don’t fall into loop games or chase the obsession the whole time only to get d strike , you lost all credibility when you complain about the most recent buff you got while survivors got nerfed, are you that terrible that you still can’t do good after a buff?
Most of the survivors (including myself) haven´t noticed the nerf. Since it only affects a really tiny part of the survivor community.
I'd say it affects more than a really tiny part of the Survivor community, considering what the next patch is supposed to contain.

These are all good but to adjust power I would say that snapping out of it should reset you back to madness lvl 1. That way it is more forgiving for the survivor when they break a chase and harder for the killer to put you right back into madness 3 if he sees you again. My other knit to pick is to make madness not be gained when in the terror radius, but just make it stay where it is. This way, gaining madness will be more fair and consistant because the doctor will have to be chaseing you and working for it.
Lastly, hitting great skillchecks should decrease madness in the current teir by 33%. Can be reduced with addons. I fully beleive in skillbased alternatives for getting rid of madness.
As a buff to the doctor, shock therapy should have a wider cast zone and hit slighty behind as well.
As for a second ultra rare addon:
Irridecent Queen: Survivors affected with madness 2 suffer 25% vault speed reduction. Survivors affected with madness 3 suffer 40% vault reduction and cannot flip pallets, only vault them.
"The queen is the most mobil of all the chess peices. Its only natural that channeling irridecence through in would give the opposite affect."I agree with your buffs and Iridescent Queen, but not your nerfs. They just make it even easier for decent Survivors to wreck him. Good Survivors will have a field day with him. They won't even have to try to win. Madness 1 doesn't do that much and skill checks are really easy to hit unless you're new to Survivor. It's good if he puts you in Madness 1 in the early game because it means he'll have a harder time finding you in the late game. After that just hide in lockers or get out of his terror radius ASAP and he'll have a much harder gaining Madness. Remember, Doctor is an anti-stealth Killer. It's not supposed to be easy to hide from him.
-
I would settle for either the first hatch closing option (the one when it didn't power the gates) or the idea that @thesuicidefox had. However, I won't be surprised if Survivors whine so much that the devs keep it as a free win for the Survivor, even after they change the endgame.

I genuinely love that when a killer suggest a change to something to make their lives easier in any way, shape, or form the answer from survivors is always the same: Just run these 8 perks, break the pallet, stop chasing that survivor, and now...just chase survivors while running backwards. EZ PZBecause their way of life is being threatened. They don't like having to change their playstyle.
-
I'd be down with this idea. Obviously we need to test it out in the PTB before it goes to the live build.
-
It definitely needs to not go through walls, regardless of the graphics settings.

Wow your DBD forum balls are HUGE. Obviously you can’t find a survivor in a match until they are screaming “I’m over here” during madness;)
Surprisingly, I can find Survivors just fine without Madness. Doctor just happens to make it easier.

What's more it can be a yellow one! OP!The game isn't supposed to be comforting. It's good that it causes discomfort.
The yellow Restraint isn't that strong. The illusions in Madness 2 only have a slightly increased duration.

I take it the PS4 servers are back up now? The notice at the top of the forums that mentioned the connection issues is gone.
-
I can distinguish Madness levels and breathing just fine. There is a part of Doc's breathing that instantly gives it away. It's near the end of his breath.
-
Easy. Wild Asylum Mental Patient Doctor (Auric Cells only and it's very rare). I loved it from the moment the devs revealed it back in March.
-
Again that’s only if the Survivor doesn’t know how to properly counter the illusions. They can easily bait the Doc into going to a location that you aren’t even close to.Well_Placed_HexTotem said:The Restraint add ons are my favorite ones for Doctor, they are massively powerful. Yeah they don’t track movement and they can be run through to lane them disappear, but an alert Doc will know where you are. I practically never have the last survivor get hatch as Doc because Restraint tells me where everyone is. My goal before I even start trying to hook is to get everyone in Madness 2 so that they are permanently tracked.
Id agree it’s very strong and makes stealth literally impossible.
BTW Restraint is also one of my favorite add-ons for Doc. I love it when I get the Iridescent version while I have Iridescent King equipped. -
Only if you act like the illusion is not there. Just run through it or move away.Rex_Huin said:But restraint is easily applied and you are then tracked for the whole game. There is nothing else like it.
If they introduced something similar on the next killer there would be outrage!
-
Aww, the Survivor can’t play without their precious crutch. Get good.
-
Nope. Restraint has two easy counters.
1. You can just run through the illusion to get it to disappear.
2. The illusions do not track your movements. You can move somewhere else and the illusion will not move. It only moves when a the duration is up and new one appears. You can trick the Doctor into thinking that the illusion is revealing your location while you go finish a gen or Snap Out of It (If you’re in Madness 3). -
It is harder to play Survivor at lower ranks, but as play the game more and increase in rank, you'll find that it's much easier to play Survivor than Killer.
-
I was thinking have the hatch not open if there are two Survivors left and one of them intentionally DCs, but we would need to make sure the game can tell the difference between an intentional DC (whether they DC through the pause menu, pull their cord, or turn off their PC/console) from an unintentional one (things like crashing and power outages). Otherwise the last Survivor would stuck in a no-win situation because of something that was out of any player's control.
-
I guess you're a pretty cool person. You have some good balance ideas. I don't think I've ever seen you not be nice to anyone on here.

You get more than a bloody piece of clothing or weapon. Prestiging increases the chance that the more rare items, offerings, and add-ons will appear in your bloodweb.i have a bunch of stuff prestige while i didn't say the others, i know what else it does for you and it's not that noticeable if you ask me
From what I've heard, P1 gives you 10% increased chance to get uncommons in your bloodweb, P2 gives you a 10% increased chance to get rares and a 20% increased chance to get uncommons, and P3 gives you a 10% increased chance to get very rares, a 20% increased chance to get rares, and a 30% increased chance to get uncommons. It's not even that good unless you're prestiging Billy, LF, or Myers.
-
It's fun as both sides. Plus it's one of the only (if not the only) killer favored map in the game.
-
Honestly I think they should just make character levels go up to 200 and remove prestige. I also hate having to start over in any video game. The new prestige unlock system would be like this:
Reach level 51 to unlock the first piece of bloody clothing and you have an increased chance to get more uncommon add-ons (I don’t know about exact percentages)
Reach level 101 to unlock the second piece of bloody clothing you have an increased chance to get more uncommon and rare add-ons
Reach level 151 to unlock the third piece of bloody clothing you have an increased chance to get more uncommon, rare, and very rare add-ons
Reach level 200 to earn some kind of one time bonus (like maybe a certain number of free good add-ons, BP, or free perk tier increases)
Or maybe have something like Titanfall 2 where you can use BPs or shards to permanently unlock perks only for the character you want to prestige. -
Was the Korean event for the same purpose? At the event, McCote played a game against instablind flashlights and then shortly after, flashlights were nerfed (which included the removal of instablinds). That was something people had been wanting for a long time, which gives the impression that the devs didn’t know just how strong they were. The game ending in less than five minutes has been is another problem that has been in the game for a long time. It’s gotten to the point where you have to run Ruin, play Nurse, or get lucky. Again, it gives the impression that you guys (or at least the higher ups) do not realize how much of a problem this is. What I was hoping for from this event was that the devs that are at high positions would realize how bad it is to have all the gens be completed in less than five minutes and hopefully get a fix out either in the chapter 9 patch or the second mid-chapter patch.not_Queen said:Play with the Devs is just an opportunity to kick back and enjoy playing the game we are working on with the Community. This is not a competition nor it is a display of skills. Within the DEV team, as well as in the playerbase, we can see players with different skill levels.
If they did, then why did it take them so long to remove instablinds, pallet vacuums, and nerf BNPs? Why do games still end in less than five minutes and why did it take so long for them to start working on ways to nerf DS? Keep in mind that these things have all been problems for well over a year.slingshotsurvivor said:It's funny to me that people argue about who's more OP (survivors or killers) when the Devs have the stats. I'd be down for this. Obviously some Killers and add-ons shouldn't be affected like Nurse and Judith's Tombstone/Fragrant Tuft of Hair Myers. I would love to have my 75% increased shock therapy range without the slower charge time on zappy boi.

Hag, Doctor, Myers, Leatherface, Freddy, Pig, and Clown are not OP lol. What do you mean by ancient? Do you mean the Killers that came with the game when it launched in 2016?

I wonder what rank they'll play.
During a dev stream they played on rank 20 with people that never played before.
So I expect something like that.I wish they played more often against the community. But I fear that the community plays toxic instead of pointing out the flaws in their game.
Maybe not_queen will play on her account or they'll do KYF. After all, I'm pretty sure that most of the players that want to play with the devs are past rank 15. If they use a rank 20 account, then they'll have to keeping pipping as both sides up to rank 15 in order to play with a good amount of people, which might take up the entire duration of the event.

"Gave in to whining survivors". Of course, because player feedback and objective PTB game statistics aren't good enough reasons to consider.
Maybe it's less about Devs not listening, and more about your need for every change to go your way.
Except those Survivors wanted the hatch standoff back. I know I'm not the only person who wanted the original hatch change to stay, and if I needed every change to go my way, I would've complained about a lot more things than I have been.
