They definitely are. $10 for one very rare outfit is too much. I would decrease the prices (and increase some of the cell values) to $2 for 500 cells, $5 for 1100 cells, $10 for 2250 cells, $20 for 5000 cells, $35 for 8000 cells, and $50 for 12500 cells.
As for shard prices, I agree with your values for brown and yellow outfits. For green, I think they should cost between 3000 and 4000 shards and purples should cost anywhere between 6500 and 7500 shards. -
I’m hoping we get the 2018 versions of Michael and Laurie.
Doctor could get a plague doctor outfit.
Nurse or Hag could get witch outfits. -
Honestly I won’t be surprised if a Conjuring chapter has been/is being considered by BHVR with Valak (The Nun) being considered as the Killer, however it will probably get released after Halloween unless BHVR surprises us like they did with Leatherface. For Halloween, we’re probably just going to get some themed cosmetics (hopefully including the 2018 versions of Michael and Laurie) and a BP event.

I would love this. I hate whenever I’m about to hit a Survivor and then they vault a pallet so I end up breaking the pallet instead of downing them.Tsulan said:
For Billy: the ability to keep on chainsawing after destroying a pallet.Peanits said:For leatherface, I think it would be awesome to have an add-on that slowly reduces your terror radius while you have your chainsaw charged, eventually to the point where your terror radius is 0m (after 10 seconds or so of charging it), making the chainsaw silent as well. Then you can sneak up behind someone, scare the hell out of them, and stand a good chance at getting an instant down as well. Not only would it be powerful and practical, but it would still be fun to play against because you would know to look out for it after the first time it happens.
For hillbilly, ¯_(ツ)_/¯
What do you get a guy that already has everything? -
Both ideas work. Your BBQ idea should’ve been implemented from the beginning. As for your BP reduction idea, I think that it should be able to tell the difference between an actual DC and a crash/server disconnect. Wouldn’t want someone to lose 20k BP just because the servers decided to act up.
It’s not overkill. It’s pretty good. I think that the Killer also should gain of the XP that the Survivor was supposed to get.popoles said:OR you will get all the points the survivor who DC'd was supposed to have.
So when you are playing against a salty survivor with a flashlight:
When he is supposed to die, he doesn't want to lose his precious FL -> DC.
You'll get all his points.
I know it looks like an overkill, but I want to force the "But I don't want to give MY points to THIS stupid killer" mindset. -
@IronWolf115 had some good ideas in this thread: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/18095/some-leatherface-ultra-rare-add-on-ideas#latest
This should be part of LF’s base kit.BigFudge said:Lightweight Chainsaw -
A lighter and easier to use model of chainsaw. When charging the saw, killer does not suffer from reduced movement speed.
I think this would help LF hugely more than billy but would still be useful for both, not sure if it would be too powerful though? -

DS nerf is next mid-chapter patch.
SC is getting indirectly nerfed when the healing time is increased. -
I like these. My favorites are probably Workshop Tools and Old Slaughterhouse Hook.
-
Doctor:
Our lord and savior
a god incarnate
-
I would freaking love it if Doctor was buffed to Billy’s level.
-
Either a 4 man basement party as Billy that lasted five minutes or the three games where I 4k’d with Doc against groups of OchiDO minions.
-
It was a joke. I’m pretty sure Tru3, Panda, and Monto would not want to play with OchiDO at all. Tru3 doesn’t like it when he faces him or his minions (even though he wins).
-
They’re either planning to do this in a future patch or they lied in order to keep people from complaining.
-
It's not. It takes luck to cancel it out. It is getting fixed in the next patch though. It's probably happening because of the DS nerf (Killer won't drop you when the perk is activated) in the mid-chapter patch.
-
It's a combination of no new cosmetic store, The Spirit isn't good, Survivors don't like that their infinites are gone, and Killers don't like the Bloodlust nerf and the easier safe unhooks.
-
Flashlight saves are still possible, you just got to adapt to the new pickup time.
-
I’m pretty sure it is, but you to have attack at the right time in order to cancel out the strike.Maj33y said:I just saw a killer Cancel out a Decisive Strike Animation by performing an attack at the same time as the skillcheck took place .. isn't this a major bug with the perk ? -
I don’t really hate playing against any Killer that much.

Exactly.ZombieGenesis said:They finally make an unplayable killer viable...let's nerf her into the ground, boys!
When the Doctor Cube was released, was the feedback from Survivors this bad? Were they suggesting things to make him crappy again (that’s just what I heard, I wasn’t around when Doctor Cube was released)? -
Pretty sure it’s releasing with the new chapter this month. What I really want to know is how much it costs (for both shards and cells).
-
This is either a noob, an entitled Survivor, or this is bait.
Either way,
-
So I guess Huntress would have unlimited ammo? And what about Doctor’s Madness? Removing lockers would also remove one of his counters.
I was thinking that the last Survivor should have no protection against Tombstone aside from successfully jumping into the hatch. They can’t jump into a locker to save themselves. I’d like for it to apply to all Survivors, and not just the last one, but that might make Tombstone too OP, even though it’s an Ultra Rare add-on.
What if they don’t wiggle though? Does the Survivor automatically break free if the Killer drops them three times? If not, then the Survivor can just go AFK and deny the Tombstone.feffrey said:you must be new. open the locker . grab them . carry them away from the locker . juggle them until they wiggle off. chase him down and kill -
It already got nerfed when Tinkerer was changed. It doesn’t need another one. You can turn in order to dodge the saw (keep looking back at him so you can be ready to change directions) or force him into an area where he can’t use his saw effectively. You need to stop refusing to learn the counters and get good. We don’t need another Freddy situation.

I take it you’re an OchiDO minion? Because that’s how he acts about prestige. No bloody clothing equals filthy causal/baby to him, unless you are just messing around here.Bug_Reporter said:@Babatom said:
I can't decide whether to continue the bloodwebs of my level 50s to get all of the perks, or to prestige them. Only CASUALS dont pretige. Get 1.000.000 bloodpoints before u prestige and u can get to lv 40+ easily.
Its also extremely fast to lv up nowdays because of all the bloodweb changes.

Prestiging is only worth it if you want the bloody clothing. If you don’t want bloody clothing, then I wouldn’t prestige.Babatom said:I can't decide whether to continue the bloodwebs of my level 50s to get all of the perks, or to prestige them. Because those same Survivors that were complaining about having to actually try to win are now happy that the Spirit isn’t good and that the devs caved in to their demands and buffed Survivors. If Spirit was a good Killer and Survivors hadn’t gotten buffed, I guarantee you they would still be whining.feffrey said:

It’s guaranteed to happen. If someone tries to tap a gen, the skillcheck will appear and because that Survivor stops repairing the gen, they will automatically miss it. Survivors do this in when the Killer is near in order to stop the regression, but you can catch Survivors off guard because they will fail the Overcharge skillcheck and you'll instantly know that a Survivor is over there.ASurvkillivorer said:I mean can they make the skillcheck not even happen.
If someone taps it really quick does it not happen?

What do you guys think about a fifth perk slot for Killers, even if it's only for Hex perks? Ruin is nearly mandatory at higher ranks because of how fast the Survivors complete the generators. On top of that, the totem spawns are not that good, which leads to Survivors quickly finding and destroying the totem (sometimes the totem gets destroyed in less than a minute). This leads to Killers being forced to play with only three perks, which can make the game much harder to win. This doesn't have to be a permanent change though. When you guys are able to fix totem spawns and make games last longer without the use of a perk, then you guys can remove the fifth perk slot if makes Killers too OP.

When I first read the title, I thought you were talking about the movie The Meg, not the DbD Meg. I was wondering how could a 75+ foot shark and an ocean map could work in this game until I read the body.

@Global @SnakeSound222 It's funny you both say survivors just want to bully the killer, so I'll ask you both the same thing. Where do you get your information from, where's the data backing up your claims? Have you both talked to every single survivor and or swf player out there to back up your claims?I know for a fact that when I play swf I'm doing so to have fun with my friends, to laugh at our mistakes and the killers. To try and out mind game the killer by juking one way then another and then cringing when we run into a dead end. When the game is over if the killer wasn't a total jerk we say gg and congratulate them.
The simple fact is most players on both sides just want to have fun, there'll always be toxic jerks in any community and on both sides. Most are just casual players trying to have fun and no at ranks 1-5 it isn't a toxic fest at least on pc.
In fact most of my games have been really cool and I've had way more toxic solo q players at those ranks than swf. I've been griefed and or sandbagged more times by a solo q player who wanted that the Hex totem. Someone who didn't want anyone else on that gen, or didn't want to get downed so led the killer to someone else.
It's not every single Survivor. It took over a year for them to remove instablinds, pallet vacuums, nerf DS, SB, and BNP, and buff Hag and Trapper tells you that a good amount of Survivors (probably the majority) wanted to bully the Killer with meta perks, items, and add-ons. Whenever BHVR makes a change that makes it harder for them to bully Killers, they whine and moan until BHVR gives in and either buffs Survivors accordingly or reverses the Killer buff they made, even if it means breaking their promises. I know that there are friendly Survivors out there who don't want to bully the Killer but they are heavily outnumbered.
Also, your experiences are not the same as other players'.
-
Nah, I need my free escape option. I'm too bad to survive without it and I refuse to get good.
-
$10 for the Wild Asylum Mental Patient Doctor outfit. I bought the Curtain Call chapter for $8, but that was through the PSN store.
-
It's the Survivors who just want to bully the Killer and have their wins handed to them. When BHVR actually tries to balance the game, they whine and moan. Instead of trying to help them get better by giving tips or just ignoring their complaints, BHVR gives in them and buffs Survivors to shut them up. They don't really care about Killers that much. All they care about is their Survivors and money. They're so scared of their Survivors quitting and making them lose money that they will mess up the balance even more just to get them to stay. I honestly think that it'll take the game losing the majority of players for them to change and start caring about Killers. Unless they can do what Ubisoft did and bring back a nearly dead game (R6 Siege was going to fail if Ubisoft hadn't continued supporting it like they did), then it might end up being too late for them to get their 20k+ players back and the game would forever have a small playerbase.

"Wah! I can't get free saves!"
Stop thinking you're entitled to a save and get good. If you group up or go for a save when Leatherface is nearby and he downs you all, then it's your fault.
-
I’m surprised that the Make Your Choice and Lithe changes weren’t in the game already.
-
It's because of all the negative feedback from the crybabies about 2.1.0. BHVR's top priority is keeping their Survivor mains happy, no matter what.

That's akin to how it feels to be DS'd.
The game's chases are long, and often very frustrating. Then, as you finally get a payoff, it's yanked away from you.
That's why it's so hated. That dopamine release your expecting from getting the hook is suddenly denied - and it's enraging.
It isn't a pay off until you hook them. you can't expect to be paid for a half job
imagine this you put in hard work fixing Gens and unhooking teammates to finally come down to be chased.
the Exit gates are powered and you tell the ones on last hook to leave.
you finally go down all of your hard work for nothing DS gives you that 2nd chance
Hard work? Dude that's all really easy! You're either crazy or this is bait.

You were toxic. When it comes to OchiDO’s minions I’m not sure if I should hit them over and over to annoy them or leave them alone because they want the attention.

-
Yes. It's now balanced.

It’s because they’re afraid of the reaction from the Survivor players. Can you only imagine what would happen if gen rush wasn’t a thing anymore and games wouldn’t end in less than five minutes? The recent Steam reviews would become Overwhelmingly Negative, Killer lobby times would get longer for probably everybody, and BHVR would probably end up receiving a large amount of threats (especially ones involving death, torture, or sexual harassment). I know those are pretty major threats, but this game’s community definitely seems like one to go that far.
-
The Killer is being punished for doing his job. He then has to get looped for a few minutes all over again. It also has no good counters. Enduring doesn’t stop the strike from happening and Unnerving skillchecks can still be hit by Survivors. The nerf that it’s getting is good.
-
I’m curious if any of the devs got gen rushed. If so, then does anyone know what their reactions to it were?
-
You still have to work for the instadown. Surprisingly, you can still loop an instadown Killer. Instaheal takes no skill to use at all.Milo said:But there are insta downs thooooooooooo
