As I've stated on numerous threads, particularly the long thread we have here on the forums with regards to console optimisation...this is still work in progress for us and the team is working on fixing the issues that Consoles are currently facing, especially those hitches when things like Dead Hard is being used. This is an ongoing process.
This is the response we have been getting for the last 3 years

Alright I'll bite, there's nothing wrong with meta perks on either side, they are perfectly fine and can all he counter played.
If you think you're going against swf in the lobby and you see lots flash lights bring lightborn and starstruck and watch them behave, keep your chases short unless you can get a down quickly, make sure you're setting up your 3 gen correctly, try to focus on only putting the same few people on the early hooks so you can remove them quickly later on, you want at least one guy on death hook asap. Don't be afraid of slugging to build pressure when needs be and if a swf group is being all in your face there's nothing morally wrong with tunneling one of them out to apply turbo pressure.
Stop believing you can be bullied, flash light clicking and tea bagging is a silly attempt to get in your head to try and make you miss play and forget all the points I previously made. Lots of killers face meta perks, they play around them and they win, if you feel it's the perks you're just looking got something to blame rather than focusing on improving your game.
Lastly I also play on console, if you really love dbd I highly recommend you get a SSD as an external drive, it fixes all performance issues with the game, like literally all of them.
I have an ssd on PS4 pro and I face the same performance issues lots of people are having.

The lag/screen freezes are SO awful.
Everytime a hook/unhook,Dead Hard etc. happens,my game freezes for like 2 seconds and then i'm suddenly somewhere else.
It's really game ruining and makes Dead Hard even more frustrating to go against.Can't even bait it out anymore ☺
This exactly

How do you know they don't run meta builds because they have huge pp and off meta perks aren't big enough to support it ?
Not sure i understand your point. Unbreakable and decisive is what I’m talking about
-
No way the juicy t bag at the last second is the only reason to play survivor 😄
-
i think you all have some good points but they all sound theoretical, like if you were a Good Samaritan you’d do what you described. What percentage of survivors do you think do that vs the ones that obviously won but feel the need to flex until the last second of EGC?

@Rich2015 said:
Gonna get nerfed then or are we gonna have a killer than can run around like lightning and then unclock to hit a survivor in seconds?
Wait for it...We will have the killers in soon saying how he is C tier
Wow yeah let’s keep nerfing all killers survivors are royalty in this game how dare they feel challenged !

@Aquamarine said:
Is this common, really?
I would never DC, lose all my points and depip so that someone else would get 7000 points. Sounds weird
How long have you been playing? I see it a ton. If survivors are at a disadvantage the second to last will dc to let the last get hatch when they know where it is
-
One of the first things I did on a pro was replace hdd with one of those $150-200 add still got lag horribly when resident evil first came out and since last update not as much lag but I think this applies to everyone

Why should i care for your fun anymore if no one cares for mine ? Its not worth it playing nice for one person put of 40.
Because you are the better person and instead of them you can behave and take it easy. As hard as it might sound right now (i assume you had a few rough games recently), just ignore them and leave with a smile. You played fair and that is all what counts.
its a game, so being what it is, be toxic back, you have every right. Why should a killer play nice if a survivor doesnt? ;)

Thinking to become a Spirit main, maybe playing against very good survivors can show me a counterplay to her, if not, thats good too,I want an easy win without too much effort, tried Wraith, but he has counterplay if a good SWF, maybe Spirit has none and then I found my fav killer to play as
This is obviously a troll post. Every killer has counter play. Don't expect easy wins of anything for just showing up.

Stridor is still an amazing perk for Spirit. Countering Iron Will is just something it did. It provides audio consistency across survivors and maps and amplifies normal breathing. That's still huge.
Is this something you tested on the PTB?

Am I not allowed to share my opinion when the guy asked the whole forum for it? 🤭
Not sure why you bothered to take time to contribute nothing but thanks for your feedback either way

thanks! I guess i have to interact with a gen to be cursed? Any idea on the mori situation?

As long as we have a date that the fix is supposed to arrive and a promise of sorts that it will fix it, I'm not complaining.

@[Deleted User] said:
ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
That is my initial reaction towards the idea.
Sure, it's interacting with an existing asset in a new way, but IMO the Killer is already able to roam the map with impunity, they can still just slug the 3rd survivor to find it (even though I despise that), and they are faster by default.
With The Hatch's current implementation, I don't think it's necessary, at least if it's just showing you the Aura of the Hatch at all times.
I unno, why not do something like:
Bloodwarden 2.0 - The Entity's Drainpipe
While the Exit Gates are Open, the Aura of The Hatch is revealed to you within 16/20/24m. If The Hatch is closed, you may Stomp on it to open it. The Hatch re-opens and cannot be closed, and all Exit Gates are blocked by The Entity for the remainder of the Trial.
I think this is a creative idea! In terms of the previous points you made check out my post right above yours :)

@Majin151 said:
Because most killers are naturally faster also because left behind is generally not used by a majority of survivors also imo I think it would be a wasted perk for a killer especially if behaviour decides to make it one of a new killer teachables
Yeah but I mean wasted perk is a subjective thing. I think there are lots of killer perks that could be considered more than wasteful. Also, sure killers may have a 10-15% speed advantage but how much does that matter when the survivor knows where the hatch is and you have to go searching?
-
Why did this get closed? It was an innocent suggestion
-
@Majin151 said:
As someone who plays killer more there is no need as you aren't going to be encountering people enough to warrant it
Care to be explain? As a rank 1 killer (not that it means all that much) I think it would be fair to even the odds when you’re not on the slugging for 4K type

You pretend as if everyone is using Iron Will in the game. Most survivors don't even use Iron Will.
Almost all survivors I see in purple or red ranks use Iron Will.

This is awful news

Spirit doesnt need a rework. Just don’t loop her at a pallet like you would a trapper

Changing resolution won't do anything for you, no. The game internally renders at a specific resolution and changing your resolution via the system settings doesn't change this.
I tried 1080 and you are right, still feel like I’m being punched in the balls by a 3rd grader trying to play a match.

How many counters does a perk need? Since killers didn’t know how to play around the perk it will now have the most ways to disable itself than any other perk in the game. Pretty much paralyzing the survivor to keep it. As difficult as it is for the survivor to complete objectives this is a huge set back. Most matches there is little hope. Killers have nothing to do but one objective while survivors have to do several and on top of that punished for doing anything where killer perks completely changes the game. Now survivor perks punish for playing the game.
A perk “Nothing to be afraid of” is really the opposite now. More afraid of losing it and needing it when a spirit phases all the way back and tunnel. Was it forgotten that being a survivor you should try to heal yourself if you are injured? What benefit is it to have good med kits? It should be fair game to try to heal yourself and not worry with losing a perk. Not to mention trying to help your team. Now Bubba will be stronger in the basement because BT does nothing to him, DS you could maybe unhook someone and have a chance for only one to get out. An unnecessary buff where Bubba didn't need it because there is no counterplay to killers like Bubba.
It was nerfed way too much to benefit only killers and make their game easier than it already is with nothing added to it to help survivors. Like the least that could have been done was to stop the timer if someone is being chased or slugged on the ground. I thought 1-time use perks should be powerful, not very weak and catering to the other side so much. Undying was a busted perk and it won the killer the game, yet it still got huge counter buffs when it was nerfed. DS is only a 1-time use perk and it can really only be used by a facecamping killer now and that assumes that they don’t slug. It is ridiculous decisive strike will be so situational and only useable if killer plays a specific way and can still prevent it from being used by slugging. Lets be sure killers can abuse it. The decisive strike nerfs were rushed and for only to entertain killers.
Lol! Instead of continuing to be one of several 2nd chance perks you can now have one less that will still act in your favor doing what it was meant to do to begin with ;)

There aren't that many keys out there, so you can dodge all the lobbies with keys.
The only problem is when they equip the key in the lasts seconds, you have 3 options: pay atenttion and dodge inmediatedly, disconnect from the game and watch some youtube or twitter 5 minutes or just accept the result and prepare to be t-bagged.
Lobby dodging is not really effective for the survivors who stack plunderers and coins to guarantee they get hatch even when you find I and close first. The chance of getting one of two keys to open hatch is quite likely.

@th3 said:
Why void a match because one side brings an item which is popular to complain about. The whole point is both sides can bring unfair stuff so I don’t like the idea of canceling a match because right now killers can’t handle keys.
Except there is nothing killers can bring to void the match that can’t be countered unlike survivors,
-

But the counter argument to that is that the killer would have to leave the hook which still puts survivors at an advantage either way of dictating when EGC initiates.
-
Nope. It would make him more viable at higher ranks.

Thank you!

Not to be rude but why are you doing yourself a disfavor. A ton of survivors will always try to bully you if they think they can get away with it. You choose how you want to play of course, but it won’t change a cuck’s behavior

I usually farm when that happens. Sucks for everyone all around when someone suicides on hook. I mean you don't have to, obviously. Play how you like! But if you want BP, and you want a pip, sometimes its just better to farm when a survivor just gives up.
I totally agree with the farming when you don’t have a choice but I don’t think I’ve ever got ruthless killer when farming

What build you run with that aside sloppy and bloodhound and what killer, just feel like messing around with it. lol
I usually only run the combo with killers I don’t play often when I’m gettting sweaty SWF teams. It also depends on what I see survivors carrying during the lobby. For example if they have 2 or more flashlights I won’t run hag or wraith as they would be at a super disadvantage. I feel like most killers that I’m getting used to or just having really bad luck with I’ll run that combo. Also if I’m just trying to get kills without worrying so much about the blood points I love using noed and blood warden as they punish douchey survivors often. If I do want points I’d throw in bbq along with something that would help the most with what I have trouble with/ quality of life improvement when playing a given killer

Not being a smartass. Just showing how you value peoples appearances over personality. It's okay.
Last I checked nobody is playing games to fulfill someone elses fantasy of finding the perfect gamer girl. Were all doing it because we, guess what, enjoy the games.
I'm curious why it matters at all. 🤷♀️
Actually no that does not mean anything at all. Don’t come with me with that “logic”. I have seen a lot of very famous streamers that have developed streaming careers and I’m sure how they presented themselves played a substantial role in their success. As a whole most careers favor better looking people, don’t deny the facts.
-
If you feel you’re running into those maps a lot I would suggest equipping sloppy butcher and bloodhound. Aside from the map set up, one of the main issue in dbd as a whole is visibility which leads too poor tracking. Running those perks together could alleviate some of those problems
-
It’s really bad dude I hear you. There is not one evening that I play that I don’t encounter optimal SWF teams. I know this is easier said than done but try to avoid the little turds that abuse infinite loops and go for the weakest link. Tunnel if you have to. When the distractor of the group knows you’re not wasting time chasing them thru infinite loops they will start tbagging trying to get your attention but you gotta try to be patient and not pay attention to them. Swfs tend to be super altruistic though so do whatever you have to do to get any points during the match whether it’s tunneling, proxy camping, or whatever is most convenient. This will not automatically make you win the most points but you were already at a huge disadvantage to begin with so ######### them.
