Self care gives me points, we'll make it gives you points. Obviously I'm going to self care
Haha your funny, you do make a point though....I prefer we'll make it over self-care but you can't argue that if you run self-care then your wanting the altruism.
-
Nope, not bait lol I'm being serious. Just increasing the "Flashlight" consumption rate from slightly to moderately, seems fine.
-
That'll do

First of all, Spirit is one of the least Killers who need a Buff.
Second, this would not solve any of the problems which Survivors have with her, but would put an annoyance on the side of the Spirit player. Spirit would be as bad to go against as before, just the Spirit-player has to do some "grinding" to get a good use for his power, with the end result that they will be stronger after enough injuries.
That's the point lol, it's a gradual buff but a huge nerf if the spirit user isn't good...Well it's just an idea

Stake Out is only good to do those hit great skill checks tome challenges, otherwise, I don't think even with that buff would make it worth it, at all
True but hitting 5 good skill checks will give you 10% increased progression instead of just 5%. Also, the 10% is guaranteed unless you cant hit skill checks at all.

Buff the hatch so it appears directly at the beginning and chests have a 50% chance of containing a skeleton key or be a mimic that eats you up.
You know, all jokes aside, that isn't a bad idea. Not literally "eats you up" but a 50% that a key might be fake. If you use the fake key then the entity will kill you.

I think I am satisfied with the recent work of the object of obsession by those who contributed, now it is not such a lethal perk to abuse killers who use traps or stealth at all times, 40/35/30 seconds for 3 seconds Now she seems like a balanced survivor perk with no complaints whatsoever.
I agree, the new OoO seems so balanced now, I'm excited that the devs finally understand perks "In this game" that shouldn't exist. I also like the fact "Like soul guard" that if the killer isn't running any "Aura reading" perks then the perk wouldn't work. It's a gamble perk and I love it....Great design DEVS.
-
I wanted unique perks added, some powerful and some just cool, they cant just be entirely OP, they need risks lol.

The only thing that annoys me about springtrap is the constant topics about wanting him in the game. It could be any one of the haunted things from FANAF and it would be the exact same thing. It doesn't matter which one they would pick.
I actually only said spring trap because it's the first that came to my mind, it'll be pretty cool if all the FNAF animatronics were added to the game, like switching between 5 or 6 lol.

Idk... Alice is literally a child...
we can go for a more aged madness returns Alice I guess...
but this
Perk 2: Evil Queen
they said she was strong, not cruel
When injured, any damage that you will take will injure another healthy teammate, if all teammates are injured then it will put an injured survivor into the dying state. The dying survivor can recover from the dying to injured but the killer can see the aura of the downed survivor for 10/20/30 seconds. This perk can only be active once.
"she wanted them red but she got white" ~ Queen
Should NEVER, NEVER, EVER, be a thing. People will abuse this to hell and back
That is kind of the point lol, will you put yourself in front of your team.
-
The devs are a bit odd, I have fun making my own perks but it'll never get added lol but I do hope :).
-
I think a good buff to Aftercare would be if another survivor unhooks then the effect applies as well. But the effect would still end after you are hooked.
-
@Chchchcheryl said:
Some cool ideas but Top Security would be mega OP imo!
Jump scare should just have the same effect as wraiths bone Clapper but on the tr instead of the bell, zoomed in fov isn't beneficial either and just makes it harder for the killer to see what's going on around them, and the red stain would be a detriment unless mindgaming.
Revenge just feels like blood warden with way more strings attached, like soul guard is to unbreakable (for the pickup effect). Maybe effective as an obsession based version of blood warden, like dying lights cousin in that they get bonuses (10+ for every time someone other than the obsession is hooked (hooking the obsession loses you tokens, maybe giving you negative tokens if you have none left), but during that time they also cannot leave (or maybe be picked up). For every negative token it is reversed and only the obsession can leave but everyone gets the boost for the allotted time period (30 secs max if the obsession dies being three hooked).
I'm not sure how balanced that would be but I want more obsession perks lmaooo
But you can only down one person, every 45 seconds.
-
I posted on this, just add increased action speed for swf. Sure many swf will hate this and complain, "oh if I play in a team it's unfair to increase my action speed". Well doing gens efficient and running OP meta perks and Insta heals is also unfair...however it is kind of difficult for many teams if this was in the game but all swf need is comms, so this would be "fair" I think.
-
not a bad idea but what if the survivor never heals, then is it a permanent DS.
-
I do agree DS needs a slight nerf but unbreakable and soul guard are fine. Sure, when I play killer and a survivor is running that build, it can be unfair. If you understand enough of dbd then you will learn if a survivor runs Unbreakable then assume Soul guard. If everyone runs it then yea, it needs a nerf LOL.

Come on man tell me you would not dodge lobby where everyone has the same outfit, why would i start a game when i know survivors trying to be toxic ๐
I do the same thing, I will always lobby dodge if I play killer when the survivors all have toolboxes or flashlights or even wearing the same skin. One of the most unbalanced things in dbd when I play killer is for survivors with OP items wearing the same outfit running DS.
-
But you have to understand that it's "Unbalanced" when the killer DID NOT "tunnel" . If your not entitled then you understand that it need a slight change.
-
@BioX said:
post 3562 with the exact same idea that will get the exact same "survivors can abuse it" nonsense the devs once claimed reply and will then die until post 3563 comes along which will be the exact same.
Survivors can't abuse this idea, if they can then can you tell me. I'm not a lightweight, I will make this idea full-proof.

Interesting concept, doesn't sound that bad on the paper, but I would fear that it would be on some maps or in good hands OP or useless.
It's dangerous to give Survivors bonus movement speed just for being in a long chase. By that time you got 5 stacks, killer allready lost a huge time chasing one person.
5 stacks might be a bit much so I might nerf it to 4 or 3 but also reduce the time it take to get a token, just want a fun perk.
-
I am a survivor main, however I understand every killer term and I respect the way that they play. I don't like when killer camp or tunnel so I need a change for that as well.
-
The killer which I hate going against Is trapper but the rest I'm alright with. Is it just me or the strongest killer is hitbox.
-
@DontNerf said:
Interesting idea, i like perks that passively do stuff whiles they play well. Not sure if this would be to good or too bad tho
I thought of the timer ticking down just after the idea, it would be too OP if I didn't. If the killer chases you for 100 seconds (1 min, 40 seconds) then I think a 5% permanent haste is fair. I am a survivor main so I might need conformation of a killer main.
-
@DawnMad said:
That's not the killers problem actually. Most cars in Autohaven, most trees in the Swamp, the boxes behind any of the trucks, most benches in Haddonfield and most snowpiles in Ormond has literally no collision right now. Sadly it's one of the many problems with this otherwise very well designed killer.
Or you could say it's a bug which the devs will never fix.
-
I know this perk isn't "Meta" but I would love to increase the timer on "Off the record" from 80 seconds to 120 or more.
-
@AnnoyedAtTheGame said:
Do the developers actually play dead by daylight or are they playing other games?
With how bad this game is. Do they even bother to even play their own game.
I hate people who complain about every little thing but this is something to talk about, this game Is clearly unbalanced and it's been out for 4 years. Kinda thought this game would progress a bit more. Sure nicer graphics, more killers and survivors but nothing has changed mechanically. I talked to "MandyTalks" and she said she's playing the game for 4 years on red ranks, I guess she's not in charge then cause if I was, I would change some stuff.
-
True, pinky finger isn't too powerful, but at the same time it is what clown needs to move him up a tier, maybe two.
-
lol sorry I though you would just complain that I had an "Idea", like it's something rare ๐. You do have a point, OoO needs a cooldown and Ds needs to deactivate after you get a hook. I don't think the devs will ever nerf ds or OoO but It would be nice. As for a beginning, maybe add like 5 podiums which will grant bloodpoints, scaling from 5k to 50k.....That idea I just thought of LOL.
-
I thought you reached rank_21 somehow ๐

@GoshJosh said:
The devs aren't going to punish people just because they are playing with their friends. Amazing we still get threads like this, particularly when killer is in the strongest state it's ever been.
Buff solo queue instead.
No you don't understand, if they buffed solo then the game will fall apart, even more than now. The killers aren't strong, that's what you don't seem to get. Your on about "solo" queue which I understand isn't always the most fun cause I always get bad teammates lol but In a swf they are more efficient, most of them are toxic and it's just unbalanced. Sure, killers are strong when they play unfair but that is my point, killers shouldn't have to play unfair to get a win, Idc what you say next, whether you believe me or not....It's up to you.
-
But you have to understand, there are survivors who say "oh stop hacking" because the killer is good, so I hope you understand in what I am saying.
-
Yes everyone knows gens are quick but 80 seconds is quite long. The devs have to nerf "Actually this time" toolboxes and nerf the penalty of a swf.

"Did you just say the word 'fair' on a DBD forum? Flagged."
Your not entirely wrong, DBD will never be fair cause it's 2 sided. Killer mains hate survivor perks that are strong and swf, survivors hate killers who play "Toxic" like camping, tunnelling or slugging. Survivors and killers play like that cause they can LOL.
-
If your 100% sure there hacking, then yes report them. Hacking in a video game is disgusting and the devs should try a little harder on there game to stop hackers.
-
I understand this, It's either the killer is bad at the game or they have 3 meter arms LOL. I'm not entitled, I'm sorry but I don't go against that good killers, if I do I don't disconnect, I'm just surprised. ๐
-
If you do comment, just leave it at that. Don't start a war, you have your opinion, I have mine.

Saw a post on a facebook DBD page awhile ago that someone posted a video of them hooking the last survivor next to his buddy in the basement. Said survivor then yeets off the hook 3 seconds later, only to be shot midair by the Deathslinger. The comments section was LITTERED by people yelling camper...to the killer who had no one to chase no more, lol.
Yea, I don't complain about many things but that is quite unfair, you can actually shoot a survivor before they 4% lol, it's unfair but at the same time kinda balanced. They should remove 4% lol, Survivors get rewarded even if they do bad.
-
We'll make it is quite good but try combining it with any survivor aura reading perks, it might be close to meta
-
@NoOneKnowsNova said:
Personally it needs a nerf of some sort. To me it's the most consistently great perk in the game. It's the only perk that has always been in my build due to this consistency.
Why say it needs a nerf if you run it, what a strange thing too do. Shhhhhhhhh there are OP perks in the game, I for one do not think spine chill is that OP but that's my opinion. They wont touch DS but knowing the devs they'll nerf the hell out of spine chill ๐
-
I don't know about this perk, perks like Ds needs a nerf but spine chill? It is quite strong but I run it too counter stealth killers. I never heard of anyone complain about spine chill, I suppose remove the 6% vault speed it's quite op but I think that's good.
-
I put the same, I use to make it my main priority to escape but now I just want a good game. Run fun builds and just bully the killer lol if I can do that as well jk.
-
Who agrees that perks in the shrine of secrets should be actually good lol.
-
As you know, self-care and botany are both Claudette perks, if they did buff self-care, they would have to nerf botany. +15 % to self-care, - 15% to botany (18%). Botany isn't a perk many people use but self-care is so this change will be good.
-
yes I'm well aware, I just don't know why
-
Listen: For the devs to listen to killers :)
-
Solo is suppose to be bad, four random survivors with four different play styles. It isn't swf lol you aren't going to have someone following you to get a pallet save. Unfortunately, you are going to get survivors who are bad at looping and like using self-care, One who urbans around the map and one who farms you.
-
No lol not what I meant, you cant use it in struggle phase but my point is that you can still do actions on a hook, just not spamming space.
-
The perk in theory is quite good but in reality, it kinda sucks. Sure, if your in a swf there are 3 rushing gens and then one rushes to the hook, you wont die for 34 seconds.
-
@Bartlaus said:
Tbh there are a lot of other things that should be adressed for the game's healthy instead of nerfing Perks or game mechanics into the ground:
- MMR (tryhard vs tryhard, casual gamers vs casual gamers, newbies vs newbies)
- Map Balancing (I dont understand why there have to be killer- and survivor-sided maps Oo, it should be always fair for both sides)
- SWF - Solo Q balancing
Believe me, there wont be a Undying + DH Meta, cuz once survivors get confronted with it too often, theyll start to use maps and small game more often.
Back to the topic:
After Undying will has been nerfed, more and more people will complain about:
- Corrupt Intervention
- Noed
- Ruin
- Clowns rework
Wanna bet? ;>
Clown rework 100%. Just wait until "full release", all the sweaty "entitled" survivors will DC more than play and it'll get nerfed, just you watch. Why buff if it's going to get nerfed.
-
Now you know full well they wouldn't redesign a perk which stops exhaustion perks, look at the new clown rework. Sure it's a buff but they removed his best addon, the exhaustion one lol.
Maybe the next generation of devs will buff killer but right now, just some more killer nerfs LOL.
