Please give us darker clothing, a gothic pack.. most clothing on console is bright or shows skin and easily spotted by the killer.Nea and Kate mainly need black, dark clothing.. please implement this as many other players want it too, thanks.
That's why I embrace my inner leopard and play ACE.

Hmm I have some crazy Idea, hah. When a survivor enters the basement, the aura of all survivors that are in basement are revealed for 3 seconds when you are at least 32 meters away from the basement and for the first time basement stairs will be blocked by entity for all Survivors and only killer can enter / leave basement for upcoming 20 / 30 / 40 seconds.
40 seconds would be incredibly insaine. Do you know what sort of damage a Leatherface can do in just 3 seconds? Haha it would sadly cause survivors to abandon anyone in the basement.
I don't mind the perk as it is since you don't need to see the aura anyway as you get that noise notification and just turn around. This perk was meant to be used as part of a "gimmick" build and never intended for high level or meta play.

Ehhh, not to nitpick, but they already broke their own schedule. The Clown was released in mid-June, which was, technically speaking, still Spring. The Spirit should, theoretically, come out before the end of summer (September 21st) rather than Fall. All that being said, I didn't really expect her today. When they released The Clown, they announced the release date for Tuesday, June 12th ahead of time on Friday, June 8th. I feel like there will be an announcement first, like last time. So I'm expecting next week. Or possibly this Thursday.
Those dates are the astronomical seasons. In popular culture, the meteorological seasons are used, which start about 3 weeks sooner at the start of the months.
To be fair "seasons" don't really exist as its just something we as humans decided to call these strange periods of time. I mean if the turtle god whose back we reside upon decides to turn us all to ash then I don't think it will mater when they release this DLC.

Agree that surveillance should not be on a timer and should instead always show the aura. I like the idea of having to be in range so as to give survivors a chance to hit the gen. You could also add like a 2-3 second delay to the aura turning back to red so survivors can still eek out a few timer points before being caught.
Regardless I hope this perk gets some love as I would gladly give it the reward for most useless perk in the game.

The Developers have already stated they want to do something along those lines or at the very least make the offering more desirable. Regardless we will just have to wait and see what comes of it.

As someone who has lived in Canada all my live I can tell you there are 3 things you must be prepared for when living in this great Country.
1: Polar bears can be hiding anywhere! Always be ready with a genuine Canadian Polar bear protection kit. You can buy theses at any major retailer or craft one by following guides online.
2: The cute little fury beavers you see are in fact NOT cute cuddly creatures. Be extra cautious around presumably cute creatures in Canada.
3: Nothing ever closes during a blizzard. We just deal with it.
I wish you the best of luck and hope you make it with BHVR or another gaming company!

I have questioned why we need a ranking system in this game as it really doesn't stop low/high skilled players from getting matched up anyway. My suggestion would be to not allow new players to be matched with anyone who isn't new by measuring how many matches they've played or how much time they've put into the game. Now if no match can be found after X amount of time they just get dumped in with the rest of us. This would still allow brand new players to not get overly destroyed while still allowing everyone else to find matches. I also don't want rank to be given a rewards system because then people will be even more "hardcore" about winning and we sadly might see more rage quitting.
At the end of the day I just want to get matches and enjoy the game. It isn't fun to get into a lobby after waiting for so long only to have people DC because A you joined in a SWF lobby (even though I play solo) or B you played Doc/Billy/Nurse...I just want to have fun too Q.Q

I played a game yesterday against the Nurse. My friend was hooked, right in front of the hatch. The killer camped her until she died, making me the last survivor. I was hiding in a locker right behind the hook near the hatch. The moment the Nurse left the hatch, I darted for it. Unfortunately, she came back and caught me. I had never been hooked or even damaged the entire round. I helped light 4/5 generators. But I get hooked and die instantly because I'm the last survivor...
I understand that it's a team based game, but at that point the killer already has a huge advantage. I should at the very least be able to make attempts to get off the hook. Every other survivor had that option. Why not the last survivor? All the luck perks and offerings in the world are just thrown away.
The only problem here is that even if you were to get yourself off the hook you would immediately be hit and knocked down again. It would be redundant. Now I do think you should still get the struggle points even though you don't get the chance to struggle. I mean I'd hate to (on either side) have to struggle for ages on a hook knowing i cannot escape and would hate to wait ages while they struggled knowing they cannot escape.

and thats why he shouldn't make such a big fuss, report them in game and just move on. it was only one game. but his ego got hurt so its a big deal and he even needs to make a video about it - disgusting.
You do realize the people in this video are streamers who videotaped themselves doing it. They clearly didn't mind that people saw this behavior. If Tru3 had used this video to harass them that would be different yet the very people who were being toxic had incriminated themselves. So no Tru3 didn't do anything wrong in this video. It would be like showing a video of Ochido being toxic, the guy has video evidence he himself meaning he clearly doesn't care if people see it.

I would like it if all the survivors and all the killers had their own rank. Some days I have to wait ages for a rank 1 survivor game and would rather swap characters to get a match.
I know that currently there is no way to do this but its just wishful thinking with some subtle complaining undertones.

I play mainly survivor, but I have played a fair amount of killer, getting to around rank 3. I played killer around a year ago and thought there was nothing wrong with the killer, or anything seemed unfair. The developers keep releasing patches that keep nerfing survivors into the ground. Killers keep complaining and just because they are bad they get patches to make it easier and easier to play. The new pallet system is terrible. If you could not avoid getting looped, then you are just bad and thats all, the system was not broken in any way. Also the change to the exhaustion effect makes all those perks useless, because if you are getting chased and need dead hard or sprint burst, you only got it once a chase if that. Flashlights are beyond useless now due to the picking up animation being changed. Killers have it so simple in this game and the terrible developers just keep making the game worse and worse making survivor so unplayable at this point. If you mean mentally broken inside from experiencing an exceptionally traumatizing life experience, then yes I agree they are broken.
Nothing a hug can't fix!

I think the scariest characters for me are Nurse, Doctor, Billy, Trapper and hag. Idk about the other killers. All based on looks by the way, no abilities or perks.
Anything trying to kill me is scary enough. I'm not one to scream and run, but be they animal or person I'm not thrilled by the potential prospect of being a victim.

Would be a good qol improvement, but i dont see it happening. If i remember correctly I THINK the devs said something about increasing killer FOV in one of their QandA vids but then again the devs say alot of things that never materialize. Regardless it is something we all could really use.
They want to increase the killer FOV but currently when they do it causes the killers shoulders to show up on your screen. You are correct though they did mention all of this in a somewhat recent dev stream.
um... what? So if you use Shadowborn it's ok, but if you do it normally, then suddenly shoulders show up? NANII???
Allow me to clarify.
The Devs said when they increase the FOV past what Shadowborne offers it caused the shoulders to appear on screen. They said it had something to do with the FOV camera not actually being in the head but rather the neck.
For this reason if they made the Shadowborne perk a baseline FOV then using any FOV perk would cause your camera to clip into your shoulders.Exactly for this reason the shadowborn was asked to be reworked in this thread.
But I guess M&A was not mentioned. Also, this problem could be solved by having separate hands and full body in game.
There would be problem though. If you increase angle and distance camera that much you would simply not be able to know when and what to hit.I kinda get devs but kinda not. FoV is annoying at times when half the screen is also covered by hands
I'm pretty sure they jokingly tested having a FOV of 360 degrees and said it was extremely mind boggling. Regardless they are looking into fixing where hit boxes are currently located and increasing FOV on killers.

I'm a console player and I always see survivors having many different play styles. Mostly toxic and/or stealthy. I always wonder if it's better to play toxic or stealthy and what are the pros and cons doing it.Depends on what you refer to as "Toxic". Playing stealthy means less points but higher survival rate (not always the case).
Playing "boldly" or getting chased means more points and lower survival rate (not always the case).
Being Toxic I'd assume you mean playing to get chased while t-bagging and flashlight clicking? I don't think anyone should deliberately be toxic but there is a fine line with people who simply try to run distraction.

It's hard to decide which Mori I like the most since most of them are so unique (except for Trapper and Wraith; Hillbilly and Leatherface). I think I like Huntress and Spirit's Moris the most of the entire group.Trapper & Wraith - I really wish their Mori wasn't copy and paste. I do like the idea of the Mori being centered around the killer's power, but I'm not sure what could change for them.
Hillbilly & Cannibal - Similar Mori, but both are centered around their power - their chainsaws. Again, not sure what could change to make them unique.
Nightmare & Clown - not similar, but seem weak visually compared to the other ones.
Pig - better than Nightmare & Clown, but just seems to lack something. Perhaps a change would be she would put an RBT (not one from your inventory) on the survivor, and then press a button that triggers the trap.Very Good Moris - Nurse, Shape, Hag, Huntress, Doctor, and Spirit.
I like the special interaction Nurse has when she mori's a shirtless David. Instead of strangling him she simply puts her finger to his mouth in a "shhh" motion and slowly rubs his chest.
By far my favorite mori!

I'm also confident that the Spirit is voiced by Grey Griffin, the same voice actress who played Vicky from Fairy-odd-parents.I can't confirm this is 100% true but I can say there is a possibility its 100% not true.

If they don't consider it "healing" then they need to address their initial statement saying otherwise.
On the flip side, maybe they reconsidered Snap Out Of It as NOT a healing action, because it's mental healing, not physical healing? I'm not sure.
Problem there is Botany still effects it and unless Claudette brought her pipe I'm not so sure those are mental healing herbs.

- sabo hooks or traps to get nuts, screws, and bolts
- cleanse totems and open chests to get nuts, screws and bolts
- use those items to repair gens
- escape
extra notes:
- half of your collected items are lost on getting downed (can be picked back up once the threat is gone)
- survivors have no limit over the amount of items they can carry
- totems and chests regenerate after 2 minutes (hexes will not re appear and you can't refind items in already reopened chests)
- hex totems that are destroyed will reward you with an iredescent screw, nut or bolt which counts as 3 of that item, you have a limited amount of time before the iredescent item becomes normal
- generators have a certain amount of required screws, nuts and bolt ranging from 10 to 25, you cannot see the amount required unless using a perk
- killers can break the gen and reduce the amount of items in that gen ranging from 10% to 50%, if they use pop goes the weasel they can remove all of one item and remove the rest on a fixed 25%)
- killers can see how many items remain before the gen is completed
To be fair I already nut when I break hex totems.

If we are going to talk about theories here is mine.
One survivor is afk. You down and hook him in 10 seconds. Three people run to save him and you down all of them with your chainsaw. All of them attempt to escape and fail and don't struggle and die.
Who else noticed...
Time it takes to repair all gens: 110 seconds
Time to kill all survivors: 60 seconds
Ez.
I think both killers and survivors should be more reasonable.
You kill survivors in 60 seconds if they’re pretty much begging you
You repair generators in 110 seconds if the killer is pretty much begging you.
1 survivor can loop a killer for ages. As a solo player I often finish all my generators uninterrupted. This is at all ranks including rank 1. Unless they find me first or give up the chase but by then they are simply getting looped by me while someone else does the gen.

Aside from using Distressing with perk builds it is also just a god perk to have on smaller maps as it helps confuse survivors with pin-pointing your exact location (unless they have line of sight).
I know I've managed to sneak up on people while using Distressing because they are not sure of how close or far I actually am.
