  • Spirit is top tier if you play her correctly. She is like a slightly weaker Nurse. She can have insane map pressure and one of only three killers (Nurse and Billy) in the game whos ability let’s them traverse across the map quickly. She can be sneaky with her lower terror radius especially if you have the “Prayer Beads” add-ons. You can’t pick her up for the first time and expect a 4K. She takes time get used to, she is a mind gaming killer. I do mainly play Spirit, it used to be Myers but I honestly like Spirit the best. She is highly underrated if anything. I’d put her in the Top 5 killers in the game easily.

It's a mixed feeling. I have fun and really enjoyable matches but I also have terrible matches that just make me want to quit the game and calm down. Solo games: (60% of the time) 1) Dead by Teammates, just plain bad teammates who crouch all game and refuse to do any gens. Mates get downed within 10 seconds of the chase, always have to save them. 2) Actually get a good team but this time the killer is a God Nurse with NOED. Q: Which game was more fun? A: That's right. Both were bad. Don't gen rush.

    NOED only affects gen rushers.

Also, if it would have been a God nurse, then you wouldn't have reached the gate powered phase.

I'm playing solo all the time, because my friends got burned out.

I don't get the point if "good game when I survive" and "bad game when I die".

I escaped with 13k points, Black pip = good game?

I died with 22k points, piped = bad game?

That doesn’t make sense. “Don’t gen rush.” Doing generators is the survivors ONLY objective. It’s like telling the killer “Don’t hook everybody too fast”. What else are survivors supposed to do? Enjoy the scenery of the swamp and wait for Mr. Leatherface to come their direction and sacrifice them? Again...generators are the SOLE objective for survivors. “Don’t gen rush.” Whatever you say.

By that logic, camping doesn't exist. Since the KILLER is doing his ONLY objective: KILLING!

    You guys are hilarious, btw.

Camping is a strategy to ensure a kill. There are other ways to kill. Camping is a viable strategy to ensure a kill. You can also slug, mori, or just sacrifice. Killing is the only thing killers have to do to win but there are MANY ways to kill.

Survivors have one thing to do and that is hold M1 and fix a generator. Don’t be so defensive over survivors gen rushing when fixing generators are the only thing they have to do.

Your logic makes no sense by telling survivors not to gen rush when they’ve got ONE objective to do. If a killer has to camp to ensure their kills then so be it, it is what it is.

Your gen rushing “logic” isn’t even hilarious, it’s just a pathetic attempt at making up for certain killers bad gameplay. No tea no shade 🤷🏼‍♂️

Lol survivors have only 1 thing to do?
So no totems, chests, unhooks or heals?
This gets funnier by the minute.

Look at the OBJECTIVE category on the end screen. It only counts for generators and chest loots. There isn’t much that survivors HAVE to do to escape besides gens and opening the exit door. You don’t HAVE to heal teammates (especially because everybody runs Self Care) nor do you HAVE to unhook. You could let everybody die and find the hatch. It’s not a necessity. Obviously survivors unhook each other, heal each other, and loot chests but they aren’t considered objectives.

You can find everything to be funny but honestly it’s not...it’s just another attempt to blame a killers bad gameplay on gen rushing when it is only thing survivors HAVE to do to escape.

  • I low-key feel as though both DS and NOED should just be removed completely. They are the MOST complained about perks and reward bad playstyles. Although I (and everybody else) has used both DS and NOED at some point (don’t lie you know at SOME point you have used DS at least one time) they are the only TRUE crutch perks in the game that reward the player for something they shouldn’t be rewarded for.

The only reason that DS will never be removed is because of the “Adept Laurie” trophy :/

  • Comparing it to other killers ultra rare add-ons...no it isn’t OP. None of them are OP.

Trapper- Powerful ultra rare add-ons if he can actually trap survivors, but Trapper is still a very weak killer.

Wraith- Definitely an overhaul from his previous add-ons, although he is still somewhat weak. I prefer his “Ghost” add-on over his ultra rare add-ons

Hag- Mint Rag is very powerful when combined with Rusty Shackles and Make Your Choice. Arguably either #1 or #2 killer when it comes to most powerful ultra rare add-ons

Doctor- More of an annoyance than anything but it isn’t THAT powerful.

Freddy- Black Box can be useless if the obsession starts near another survivor but Red Paint Brush is pretty decent.

Myers- Tuft of Hair is super powerful and is the only killer who can outright eliminate survivors without hooking them although it takes FOREVER to get to EW III. Arguably has the most powerful ultra rare add-ons alongside the Hag.

Huntress- A one shot down seems powerful but you still have to be good at hitting survivors with hatchets. They have a wonky hitbox. Plus you only have ONE hatchet unless you pair it with another add-on that gives you only two extra. Too many downfalls unless you are a good Huntress

Pig- Meh...that’s all I have to say.

Clown- You have to right right up close to a survivor and nail them directly with a bottle for an insta-down, but it’s a good add-on. Underrated IMO.

Spirit- Great add-ons but too many downfalls. Seeing survivors blood should honestly be in her normal ability without the use of an add-on.

My favourites: Urban Evasion, Spine Chill (I almost never play without these two), Self Care, and Bond.
Honourable mentions: Borrowed Time, Decisive Strike, Quick and Quiet (or Dance with Me), and Windows of Opportunity.

Adrenaline - almost never pays out for me. You see it on streams and videos all the time, but is very situational. Same with...

    Unbreakable - not once.

I’ve gotten some pretty good Adrenaline plays. There are MANY times were the killer slugs and I do not have Unbreakable but as SOON as I put it on I never get slugged. It’s just the way it works most of the time sadly.

  • Adrenaline
    Balanced Landing
    Bond
    Borrowed Time
    Dead Hard
    Decisive Strike
    Empathy
    Lithe
    Self Care
    Sprint Burst
    Urban Evasion
Those are the “meta perks” in the game and the most frequently used because they work the best.

There are some other perks that can be helpful such as Alert (especially since it’s buff), Calm Spirit (against a Doctor), Iron Will, and Technician. We’re Gonna Live Forever is basically just a farming perk to give yourself more bloodpoints.

Does one of the most used perks in the game need a buff? One could argue that if it is so highly used it could be considered top tier already.

One of the biggest problems is that people can literally spawn next to the Ruin totem, and extinguish it.

Ruin is extremely fragile, and that is one of the biggest reasons people don't use it.

That's the risk you take with ruin.. Sometimes it carries you through a game, Sometimes it gets destroyed early.. On Average it buys you a few minutes of time.

It is easily one of the most used perks in the game already.. If it didn't have a downside it would be in every single game. Seeing it in literally every game would be incredibly boring while playing survivor.

There are like 50 other perks to choose from.. But no-one chooses them.. How about we make the unused perks more enticing to use instead?

I would rather see variety in this game over buffing one of the strongest perks already around.

You see the data, but come to the wrong conclusion.
Ruin is only meta, because killers don't have much else to slow down the gen progress. They are forced to take it, not because they like it, but because the game would take less than 5 minutes without it.

Imagine for a second, that survivors are forced to equip 1 perk, even if they don't like it and on top of it, the killer could remove the perk after 30 seconds. Would you like that?

No one is forcing you to use Ruin. It’s not locked into your perk choice. There are MANY other viable choices for perks. For example on my Spirit I use Save The Best For Last, Rancor, Nurses Calling, and either NOED or Deerstalker (because I’m blind as hell and can never find survivors if I slug). Sometimes I get a 4K and sometimes I don’t. Doesn’t really matter to me honestly. I’m at Rank 6 because it was super easy to rank up as a killer. This is the first time my killer rank is higher than survivor.

Playing against Ruin and BBQ is obvious, reptitive, and boring. Same goes with DS, Self Care, and Sprint Burst. People are going to use them anyways because they are the perks that work the best. Just saying that nobody is forcing you to run Ruin. The game isn’t going to hold your hand regardless if you run Ruin or not. 9 times out of 10 they’ll either power through Ruin or break it in a minute. You’ll still get gen rushed regardless. So was that one hook you got before they broke the totem worth it? I don’t run Ruin because it’s not that great IMO.

    Realistic survivor perks:

Thick Blood: While injured, press the activate button to stop bleeding for a short period of time. The perk will then go on a cool down.

Marker: You can highlight a gen or exit gate for the rest of your team. But you must interact with the object for it to be highlighted. And the object only stays highlighted for a limited time.

Likely OP perks designed for a priest/reverend/minister type survivor:

Wrath Of Heaven: Upon death, the following effects occur:

    • All survivors can see each other's auras for 60 seconds.
    • Repair and healing speed is increased by 25% for 60 seconds
    • All survivors receive the haste status effect for 60 seconds
    • The killer's aura reading is interrupted for 60 seconds

Guardian Angel: Upon death, you can take control of your spirit and aid the remaining survivors.
    As a spirit:
    -The killer cannot harm you.
-You cannot interact with any in-game objects
-All survivors receive a 10% increase to healing and repair speeds as long as you remain within 15 meters of a survivor
Your movement speed is increased to 110%

I do like the “Guardian Angel” perk. It gives something to do while spectating if you are in a SWF group or if you just wanna do something if you wanna spectate. Would also be cool if instead of the skull when you die on your HUD you get angel wings instead.

  • Myers and Spirit. Hag is easily the most disturbing.

  • As a survivor it is easily any Coldwind map or either one of the two Asylum maps.

I think it's mainly because they are most played (especially Meg and Claudette) due to them being the original characters that everyone owns. But yeah I do agree as I would love the other characters to get a bit more love in terms of cosmetics, but I think BHVR is trying to appeal to the majority with giving the original characters so many cosmetics.

i know but if they really did the poll you would see that they arent the majority played its just they were around when legacy was around and people had them leveled up first but i really want to see more nea, feng, and david stuff i mean the reason this is becomin a problem is because when the store first came out they cam out with stuff then just kept coming out with stuff for dwight, meg, claudete, and jake with a few for the others here and thier and at one point i was like ######### meg has 40 something items and nea has 2 something items

    1) they’re free, keep in mind console starts with dlc (if you’re on console) Ming and Ace are normally requiring money. 2) they’re the original 4. They’re the icons of the game and the survivor faction. 3) No, they are STILL THE MOST POPULAR.

    proof? for 3

    Devstream data

    and thats proof cause?

Because the devs have access to that sort of information and we don't?

exactly so how do we know they aren't lying it wouldn't be the first time

Do you have any idea how paranoid you sound? Basic common sense, logic, and extrapolation will lead to the conclusion that the free (base/non-paid-DLC) Survivors are the ones most likely to be played because they are free. That's without taking into consideration the fact that two of their perks (Sprint Burst and Self-Care) have been in the stale meta since the game was released.
Furthermore, what would the devs have to gain from lying about this, exactly?

Is it that difficult for you to just admit that someone who disagrees with you on some subjects is right?

nea, ace, feng, and david are all free on xbox and ps4

Not on PC. Where most the players are

Not disagreeing that the OG 4 are the most played (because they are the most played) but does PC really have that big of a difference in playerbase than console? The game did start on PC and had a year head start before consoles but you can’t see the number of people playing on PS4 or Xbox. The playerbase is pretty vast on consoles. I rarely run into the same killer or survivors that I did the previous match while I know on PC a lot of times you’ll continuously run into the same people in your lobbies.

  • As a killer I will go after the farmer/sandbagging teammate always. I’ve been in that position multiple times and know how it feels to be farmed by Farmer David or IQ 2000 Meg.

I don’t take killer THAT seriously though so unless I’m really looking for a 4 man...I change my targets regularly. Sometimes I’ll slug if the team is very altruistic. Although farmers get the special tunneling treatment.

  • Ugh...groups like that give SWF bad names. Today I was against (at least) a 3 man SWF group and they all ran Dead Hard, Decisive Strike, WGLF, and Sprint Burst. They teabagged and wanted you to hit them to get their WGLF stacks up and flashlight flickered. Two of them escaped. I’m just lucky I’m really good with The Spirit, any other killer and more would’ve escaped. It doesn’t affect me personally the way they play because it shows more of their character than it does yours. Not all SWF groups are like this, I run into more good sports than toxic groups but when the toxic groups come in it hits you hard.

By the way it seems as though Quentin is the WORST offender of being toxic when prestiged. Him and Kate players also seem to be so annoying and act like they are the best players ever. I know most people say Claudette or Nea but for me it is ALWAYS a prestiged Quentin or Kate.

Bbq is op, survivors just die when they get found. E

Just addressing the original proposal. :)

I hate BBQ for two reasons: 1) God damn killers just find me instantly, and 2) none of my killers have it.

BUT I'm not convinced it needs nerfing, and I'm 100% certain that introducing even more crazy powerful perks is not the solution. :)

That is normally why if I am somewhat close to the hooked survivor I’ll stay close to them while they are hooked. BBQ is annoying to go against, it isn’t OP but it is annoying to be found instantly especially with a high mobility killer such as Billy or Nurse. Billy is the WORST offender since he has the best mobility in the game. BBQ is just so powerful with his character.

None of my killers have BBQ either since I HATE Leatherface and only have him at Level 10. I refuse to rank up Leatherface because I seriously hate his character. I never liked the movies either so I’m just hoping for BBQ to be in the bloodweb one of these days.

They need to introduce a casual mode, make it harder to rank up and give rewards at the end of the season.

I’d love a casual mode. Making harder to rank up would be a good change seeing how many boosted survivors/killer manage to get to red ranks. The only reason I don’t rank up quickly is because I’m not a very altruistic teammate, I either get no medal or a bronze in altruism.

End of season rewards NEEDS to happen ASAP. It gives a purpose to rank up.

I felt before the recent patch at rank 1 I survived about 50-60% of the time in solo. But currently during the event it's kind of like...10% maybe? Because everyone is milking flowers instead of doing objectives, and usually the first persons chase even if it lasts 3 minutes, no ones done a gen and that's already someone hooked and nothings been done.

But I did feel like the survive rate went down immediately during the last patch, even before the event. I'm not amazing at chases, and being immersed and hiding isn't viable either because it gives no blood points, and de-ranks you way too easily. But it feels like a lot of the things I abused before are gone, and chases are much quicker.

On the killers end, it feels way, way easier. Almost every game I've played has been a 4k, with the event currently the hatch hasn't even come into play in the last 5 games. Well...it was a 4k with my Michael, it wasn't when I tried out Freddy and Pig for the first time ever, but I didn't have any good perks and still did pretty well.

SWF's I think is really strong, I think solo play is lopsided in the killers favor by a good margin. It's also easy to avoid SWF if you are that afraid of them. I know some days I don't feel like dealing with it, and just leave a lobby when 3-4 instantly pop in.

Games are easier after rank reset? Say it ain't so. I wonder if that could be because of all the low ranks you suddenly get matched with. No that can't be it must've been the balance changes

Yeah a lot of people get to rank 1 then wait for reset and play KYF. And you’ll get your ass handed to you by people you’ve never played against that play like rank legendary rank 1’s at rank 10.

I have noticed that green ranks have better killers/survivors than red ranks. The “good killers” keep themselves in the middle ranks while all the sweaty forehead survivors/killers boost their way to Rank 1. The games are just better around the green/purple ranks. Once you get to about Rank 5 you get the boosted players.

I don’t like de-pipping all the way down to the yellow ranks because there is so many nooby survivors that you may get like one gen done so I usually get myself to red ranks before the season resets so I’ll reset back to Rank 10.

No need to try and deliberately cheat others out of rewards.

Uh, Ruin is required against anyone trying, but DS isn't required to survive.

No perk is a requirement. It’s just a meta. I’ve survived perfectly fine without running Self Care and Decisive Strike although they make your objective easier as a survivor. You’ll be fine without your precious BBQ and Ruin. If you HAVE to rely on them and can’t win without them then don’t complain about survivors running DS, simple as that.

Some perks are just way overpowered like SC and SB.

And other create annoying situations like DS, Adr and BT.

Really "toxic" is just OoO. That's a perk just made to abuse SWF voice com and troll the killer.

Self care is a massive time sink if you want to slow the game down spread out your damage and watch how slow gens progress. Honestly SB is the weakest exhaustion perk in the game this is very clear as you rank up and see the number of dead hards and balanced landings as opposed to sprint burst. Because SB is designed for newer players who dont know the timmings for dead hard or the drop down points of balanced landing.

See SB is really easy to use but is in fact much weaker then balanced landing which opens up so many more loops as the perk passively negates the stun on falls. Dead hard can be used to reach a pallet and remove a killers blood lust if there aren't that many safe pallets left.

I like Sprint Burst against the Wraith because it completely negates his own movement speed increase when uncloaking and also against the Pig because you can easily get away from her ambush attack. I do prefer Balanced Landing and Lithe (never cared for Dead Hard) but Sprint Burst helps you gain the lead over the killer and get you to a safer place like the killer shack or a pallet. I only run Sprint Burst on Meg and Dwight but I am considering changing to Balanced Landing but not every map has good drop off ESPECIALLY Shelter Woods where you have to climb up the tree and drop off or the Hospital where you have to be in the center of the map to get the drop off. Lithe is the best exhaustion perk IMO.

  • Basically if you do what you’re supposed to do as survivor and that is to “survive” you are being toxic. Flashlight save a teammate, you’re toxic. Pallet loop a killer, you’re toxic. Heal yourself? No you are being toxic. Basically you have to run Slippery Meat, Small Game, Deja Vu, and Botany Knowledge to not be a toxic player.

In all seriousness I don’t consider any perk on either side killer or survivor to be toxic. This includes DS and NOED. Sure it’s annoying to get hit with DS or do gens the entire game and NOT be chased by the killer and get downed by NOED, but some people honestly need a crutch to survive or kill players. That’s what the perk is meant to do. Not all players that run DS and NOED are toxic players. Whether they survived with a “crutch perk” or killed you with a “crutch perk” does it really matter? They still completed their objective and you’re just salty that you got outplayed simple as that. If you don’t like it then either change your loadout or become a better player.

Toxic traits are flickering your flashlight and teabagging. Bodyblocking is a legit strategy to save a teammate along with flashlight saving. No perks are “toxic” in the right players hand. If their gameplay style is toxic such as teabagging and flashlight flickering then they are a toxic player, but the perks themselves aren’t toxic.

Depends...if a killer is letting you harvest then of course I’ll let them put me on a event hook. Although if they are doing things such as setting traps (Hag and Trapper) at nectar plants then I’m not going to LET them hook me on event hooks because they are purposely trapping survivor nectar, so why would I give them theirs?

Example is that I was injured and Hillbilly let me finish harvesting a nectar plant so I obviously let him carry me to an event hook. Another round this Hag set ALL 10 of her traps at a nectar plant, I won’t purposely let her carry me to an event hook.

Maybe the Hag was just trying to grind "Triggered" or "Even Punishment"?

“Triggered” is so easy to get. They have to trip your traps 100 times and survivors are CONSTANTLY tripping the traps especially at lower ranks. I got it in about 4 or 5 rounds as the Hag. Smart idea to grind that trophy though.

I think it has something to do with the fact that, and this'll sound cheesy but hear me out, your character goes through what seems like actual pain which triggers our empathy, which we then blame the person who did it (who is the killer,) and we blame them. It sounds crazy, but it is something I've thought of.

Another factor could be that because you always hear about how overpowered the Survivor is and so if you're doing bad it means that you're bad, which feels bad. I know the feel.

Completely agree. Some people forget that it is just a video game. I do feel empathy for my character a lot, rarely do I feel sympathy for a killer.

We all have bad games, I just learn to deal with it. If I’m having bad game after bad game after bad game then I just stop playing and try again later. No point in stressing over it.

You're not alone, they're intentionally using their darker character model to their advantage.

I mean it is a smart idea. You wouldn’t believe how many times I’ve lost the killer in the cornfield using Claudette with a green or brown shirt. It is a way to be sneaky, although it doesn’t always work. On maps like Haddonfield, Swamp, and Coldwind a dark shirt Claudette is nearly invisible but if the killer looks hard enough he’ll eventually find her. I usually run Self Care, Iron Will, Calm Spirit, and Urban Evasion/Quick and Quiet on my Claudette so she is even harder to find.

I don’t get why people are so bent out of shape over people playing Claudette with dark clothes...it’s not like they are all playing toxic. It’s a better way to stealth.

A Huntress, Hag, Clown, Doc, Spirit

    B Wraith, Pig, Myers

    C Freddy, Leatherface, Trapper

OP pretty much overrates most killer.

The ONLY one on the A tier list that is on Myers level is Huntress. Doctor is pretty weak. His ability doesn’t really help him in a chase, Doctor is the most overrated killer in the game honestly. Other than that I’d switch Myers and Doctor but your list is pretty accurate.

It might be just my personal preference, because I perform pretty well with Doc. And the main reason for it is that he can actually affect multiple targets with his aura.

Something most other killer are lacking..

My main issue is always how can I get the other of the gens while I chase ONE?

Doc has a solution for that.

Doctor is good when it comes to map pressure if it is a smaller map (Game, Hospital, Yamaoka) and you pair it with Distressing and Unnerving. His ability just doesn’t cut it for me, he is just too weak at loops.

It’s also a preference when it comes to Myers with me. I love the extended lunge of EW III and his ability to sneak up on survivors in the beginning with his smaller terror radius. I’d take Myers, Spirit, and Pig over Doctor.

I even preform well with Freddy believe it or not.

I perform well with everyone but I like Michael because of the Mindgames.
The Doctor however actually can somewhat manipulate a Chase.
Well i agree he is pretty weak and the time it takes to switch modes should be decreased but he is not overrated.
That Title belongs to the Huntress

Doctor can’t cut off loops but the Huntress can and that is one thing she holds over Doctor. A good Huntress is not going to be looped. Not to mention she can have a one hit down with hatchets which cannot be countered while Doctor’s entire ability can be somewhat countered by Calm Spirit. I’ve run Calm Spirit and had very little issues with Doctor finding me. It’s not a perfect counter but it’s a strong counter.

Huntress isn’t very loopable and can have an insta-down. Her ability helps her in a chase. Doctor isn’t good in a chase and is easily loopable. A Huntress who doesn’t know how to effectively use hatchets or without hatchets however is going to be bullied which is the reason I don’t play her because I’m not good with long range attacks. I’m personally better with Doctor but Huntress has a higher potential.

You say that but I abuse the Huntress in any loop all you gotta do is keep running when she charged her hatchet I normally loop her 6-7 times before I drop the pallet lol she's easier to counter then Doctor. She's pretty hard to beat on open maps though I'll admit that but if ur at a pallet ur fine.

She’s not AS loopable as Doctor if the player knows how to play Huntress and is good with hatchet throws. What is Doctor gonna do? Shock you? His power does not help him in a chase and he is slower in treatment mode as well. Run Calm Spirit and he is a simple M1 killer. He is the best killer for tracking but there are counters for his abilities. The only thing Doctor is better at that Huntress is that he has a longer lunge and has 115% movement speed. Most tier lists place Huntress above Doctor. Doctor is mid tier at BEST. He is so overrated as a killer.

    3) Cannibal - Show me a cannibal who doesn't camp and tunnel and I'll show you a monkey who can fly.

    2) Wraith - How to play Wraith

    • Hook survivor
    • Go invisible
    • Wait right next to the survivor for an unhook so you can tunnel
    • repeat

Or if they're feeling really bold, they might camp the hook and try to take out whoever comes for the rescue.

    1) Pig

    How to play Pig

    Hook survivor
Use stealth to get rid of terror radius
Tunnel the hell out of unhooked survivor
    Repeat

Also make sure to spend your entire game stalking the jigsaw boxes to tunnel survivors rather than you know....going for the survivors who are actually doing generators. Genius.

Yeah you can see a common theme among the killers I dislike. It's not the killers it's just that a lot of people can't think of or are too lazy to use their power in an interesting way other than to camp and tunnel.

Honorable mention goes to trapper, who walks in a circle of approx 30m around every hooked survivor just waiting to tunnel.

    Most

Nurse and Myers. They're the only ones who don't spend the entire game going for the strategy of camp & tunnel. I hate Freddy but at least they never seem to C&T either.

Never seen truer words spoken. That’s about the most accurate description of my games with these killers.

Nurse players I feel bad for since I play on console. I can take a tunneling from Nurse for five gens, that is how bad it is to play her on console. I know the pain since I played her to rack up some trophies and I wasn’t even red rank.

My tier list of LEAST annoying killers to face to MOST annoying killers to face

    1. Myers
    2. Nurse
    3. Spirit
    4. Clown
    5. Huntress
    6. Hillbilly
    7. Hag
    8. Freddy
    9. Doctor
    10. Trapper
    11. Pig
    12. Leatherface
    13. Wraith
  • There is no reason to leave the hook when survivors are in area, don’t concern yourself with them. Not worth it. If it make you feel any better I’ve been called a camper while I was playing Freddy. Like.....how am I gonna camp with Freddy? That’s how far certain survivors will reach to protect their own ego.

Bing Bong or Doctor for sure. Doctor gives me a migraine and Bing Bong I always die against. He’s weak but I am always the first one found and every time I am hooked I always see that shimmer nearby me.

Lmao, Wraith would be my second choice for that very reason.

Put survivor on hook, go invisible and wait nearby. Wow haven't seen that before Mr Wraith, you sure are smart  :p

It's a shame because he's a fun killer to go against the 1% of times you get someone who plays him properly.

Wraith is pretty fun to go against if the player is actually a decent killer and doesn’t stick by the hook but I have rarely gone against Wraith’s who don’t get a 0-1K for simply camping that one person. Leatherface isn’t much better with his Insidious basement builds. I know people actually play these killer quite well but the majority of Bing Bong, Leatherface, and Doctor players are boosted apes.

The Doctor actually has a Tool in a Chase and would be ay better if they would make him be able to switch modes instantly.

The Doctor can prevent Survivors from Vaulting or Dropping a Pallet and in Madness lvl. 3 Survivors can’t even Flashlight-Blind him.

While I do agree that he needs a Buff, Leatherface is never ever better than him.

And I do have my reasons for calling the Huntress overrated.

The Huntress has 110% Movement Speed because of her Power but while her Power is good at punishing Vaulting or Dropping Pallets when she runs out of Hatchets, since dodging them is really easy so it won’t take long until that happens, she’s a Terrible Killer and in order to be somewhat effective you have to waste time at a Locker. BTW Wraith is still really bad and only with add-ons he is somewhat OK

Huntress has a 110% movement speed because she has a long range attack. I personally suck with the Huntress because I am awful with aiming hatchets. She’s in the higher ranks on most tier lists because in the right hands she is deadly. If you put her best add-ons on her she is really good. I do believe she is slightly overrated but not as overrated as Doctor. I have never been a fan of Doctor, he is more of an annoyance than actually a deadly killer. I leave the match with a headache whether I am playing survivor or the Doctor himself.

No she has a 110% Movement Speed because of her power

That’s what I meant...her power is can down survivors from a long range.

Yes it is tilted toward killers because of the fact that killers are strictly getting vials for themselves while survivors have to share nectar among each other and if you die you lose a stack. Killers on the other hand do not lose a stack. I’ve gotten 6 cells so far and four of them have been from killer and I am not even a killer main. Most killers (including me) are putting on Iron Grasp/Agitation to get survivors to the special event hooks and they can’t be sabotaged anymore so nobody should really be complaining about not be able to get stacks as a killer.

Survivor on the other hand it is harder because you are sharing among each other, it takes your focus away from objectives, and if you die you lose stacks. Just not as great on the survivor side, but I do think that your vial fills quicker for survivor.

Yeah, lest's say only the half of the truth. Why didn't you say, that killers need to hook survivors 6 times to fill the flask, while survivors need to harvest only ~2,7 of petals? Hm?

And that killing is way harder, than holding M1. You can fill the flask in 3 minutes, and then suicide on the hook, while killer needs to play the whole match.

Maybe read my entire comment before making your snide little remarks. I clearly said “I do think that your vial fills quicker for survivor.”

It takes the focus away from objectives so how do you feel that you got a 4K because survivors weren’t actually completing objectives? Hm?

More than likely you won’t get a full vial especially if not everybody burns an offering and the vials are already gone by the time you get to one and if you die you lose your stacks anyways. Yet if you suicide on the hook you’ll lose your vials. Killers get to keep their vials regardless, not saying that they shouldn’t but I also feel as though on the survivor side...they should also keep whatever vials they get.

You can’t say anything about something being tilted for killers without somebody breathing down your neck about you being wrong. A “killer main” will be able to get their hooks in a round. I’m not even a killer main and I got all five of my hooks in a match. Not that hard.

Or you need to get better in playing survivor, because I've already completed all survivors' vials, and in almost every match I managed to fill full flask.

Yeah, 4k, because poor survivors were so helpless by doing those petals in 2-3 minutes.

By the way, you did not say anything about the hard sides of playing killer in this event, which really gives something to think about your bias. Go cry somewhere else, everybody are enjoying the event, but as always, there needed to be one, biased survivor, who is mad, that skins are not given to him for free.

Maybe YOU need to get better a killer and stop being so entitled. Your vials carry through no matter what. You have to HOOK people something you do in every single round. Survivors on the other hand aren’t even completing objectives and still lose vials if they die. Regardless I am enjoying the event on the killers side. Survivor side...meh, I’ll get it eventually.

I was never mad. I was simply stating my opinion about the OP’s post. I never complained about the survivor side being “too hard.” I said it was harder than the killer side since you lose vials on death.

Good for you for completing the survivors side in one day. Do you want a cookie? It’s been a day, we’ve got two weeks...I really do not care what you have and haven’t completed.

I also never said a single word about the skins. I’ll gladly buy what skins I want but they are purely cosmetics, doesn’t make you better at the game which obviously you need some help with since you can’t get all your hooks in a match it seems like since the killers side is SO hard, but yeah the survivor side is always so easy. Both sides can be challenging at times and that’s something you aren’t understanding.

Killer on the other hand, apparently nobody wants to help me out with getting correct hooks, so i had to switch to a normal build and play normally.

The hooks seem like they are never close to where i down someone, and have yet to see someone not struggle.

Starting to understand why alot of killers werent farming and were just using closest hook, its going to take awhile.

Depends on how many petals were burned but normally I could get all five hooks if I run Iron Grasp. This Hag kept taking me to the same hoon and I wiggled off three times so I just stopped and let her hook me on the event hook and I died. I still piped, didn’t really care. Some survivors will let you hook them but most probably won’t. Same with killers not letting survivors get the nectar plants. I had (a different) Hag set ALL her traps on the plants. I don’t get the point.

But if you run Iron Grasp and Agitation you should be able to get them to the hook.

  • Honestly I feel less pressure from being killer. Probably because I keep myself in lower ranks. I usually range between 8-15. Highest I’ve ever been is Rank 7. I don’t wanna pull my hair out on red ranks.

  • Bing Bong or Doctor for sure. Doctor gives me a migraine and Bing Bong I always die against. He’s weak but I am always the first one found and every time I am hooked I always see that shimmer nearby me.

I don’t know why you got so tilted over what I said over the event. Single me out over everybody else who has commenting. You’ve done the same crap on my other posts so how about you stop commenting on my posts?

Entitled killer mains getting bent out of shape over opinions as per usual. How about you enjoy the game and stop replying to me. Nothing new here. Move along honey bun I’m done with you.

  • It’s random because I got five in my bloodweb for Claudette (P3 Level 30) and the next bloodweb I got a spooky flashlight and spooky med-kit and not petals. It’s all RNG.

She can be. In my book at least, she's the third best killer in the game. She suffers more from coordinated SWF groups than other killers, though.

Everybody has THAT killer that gets them all the time. Honestly Hag is not an issue for me most of the time, I can usually either survive or preform really well in a match with the Hag. The killer that gets me triggered is Bing Bong. I know he is a weak killer but EVERYTIME I’m against him I’m the first one found...proceed to be camped, tunneled, and sacrified. Bing Bong is just a natural camper. I have a bad time against stealth killers.

  • Sure the extra time on healing can be an annoyance especially when you can’t find teammates (or they don’t wanna heal you) or the killer has Sloppy Butcher but it’s not that big of a deal. There were other changes in the patch that affect both killers and survivors.

  • After the newest patch I’ve got to put The Spirit in the S tier list. She is one of the best killers im the game. They removed her husk noise within the survivors radius and the prayer beads add-on (no husk sound at all throughout the entire map) makes for a perfect gen grabbing build. She is super underrated and has such high potential.

    S+ Nurse

    S Billy

  • Not at all...chain blink to your hearts desire. Honestly when I was going for that trophy I wasn’t even looking for kills I was just trying to rack up the amount of chain blink hits I could get. After many rounds of torture and my rank going from 8 to 11 I finally got the trophy and the platinum.

  • Because they’re the smart player actually getting the objectives done and not looping you around. Would you rather chase a Nea with bright neon pink hair or a P3 Claudette who is gonna go invisible through the cornfields? It’s a no brainer. Why do killers get mad when they can’t find ONE survivor yet the STILL get mad and tunnel the one Nea that has looped them for four gens then blame it on the Claudette who was doing the gens when you could’ve easily been patrolling gens? Not calling you out in particular but it’s a pretty common occurrence.

Objectives and boldness and the other two emblems all max out at 8K so if the survivor is tunneled for five gens and the Claudette did all five gens they’ll get the same amount of points except the gen jockey will probably get more points since they were able to do more like break totems, interact with other survivors, and sabo hooks while the tunneled survivor will only get those 8K in boldness.

Considering killer is suppose to be the power role, what makes them a threat? Many have varying ideas on how they should be, but what I'd like to know is which features change a killer from easy- challenge- overpowered. Not referencing perks cause those are interchangeable or addons cause those are consumable/inconsistent.

The only thing that makes killers a threat is the ability to counter loops.
Sadly only nurse has that ability

Huntress? She has the ability to counter loops. Although not as powerful as the Nurse as she doesn’t break the game mechanics like the Nurse does. Putting perks on killers such as Bamboozle can counter loops especially with EW III Myers. They just aren’t as strong as Huntress or Nurse in countering loops.

I'e suggested this before a few weeks back, pretty much the same thing. Give hooked survivors the option to face kick if their being unhooked inside the killers radius. I'e had too many games where it isn't just farming me for points, pursued survivors will run to the hook and unhook a player (I've seen this from both killer and survivor perspective) as a distraction, and again I don't blame a killer if he goes for the easy kill, though i have been noticing more and more killers punishing these farmers lately.

From my experience it always seems to be the Claudettes who do that too.

It’s one of three survivors that I get farmed by...

The classic Farmer David with We’re Gonna Live Forever

Claudette who tries to be helpful but fails miserably

A nooby Meg with an IQ of 2000 who will most likely get pulled off of me before she can even unhook.

  • Meg- Sprint Burst, Adrenaline, Self Care, then a random other one but it is usually between Empathy, Dark Sense, and Urban Evasion

Claudette- Self Care, Calm Spirit, Iron Will, Urban Evasion or either Quick and Quiet

Nea- Urban Evasion, Balanced Landing, Self Care, and Empathy

    Those are my three mains
