I want:
- Shirtless Felix
- Shirtless Oni
- Shirtless Myers
- Shirtless Wraith
Felix and Myers I can understand, but I don't know why anyone would want to see Wraith shirtless. lol

It didn’t? I recall playing with rank 20s as a rank 1 survivor and getting slaughtered by rank 1 killers. “But rank doesn’t matter” when my team is literally within ~5 hours of buying the game.
MMR is all over the place. I can hardly distinguish it from the current system other than the ridiculously imbalanced matches it throws out sometimes. Like full rank 20 1 perk lobbies into rank 1 killers.
The emblem system is significantly better. A few tweaks and they can dumpster this Elo system that will ultimately have everyone spamming nurse, spirit, and SWFs.
That's still happening to me. I usually get one other red rank teammate and the others are around 15-20. You can imagine how my games are going against red rank killers. I'm done until this thing is turned off.

New David looks SOOO much better. This is coming from a David main. :D

I'm fairly certain that hitting on hook and teabagging is indeed "toxic". And I'm pretty sure they hacking is just cheating, which may be toxic, but kind of eschews the meaning of the term.
Course "toxic" is a moronic catchall word anyway.
This.

Definitely not in the wrong especially if it was necessary to capitalize on but I would've personally slugged the Felix and punished the farmer. Hate people who do that.
This 100%! I usually slug the unhooked guy (not his fault he got farmed). I will always punish the person that farms people.

She isn't fine. I'm sure she will get the nerfs she needs.

I'm gonna go with Leon and Kate 😍

I think it's scummy. I try not to do it when I play killer.

I've never seen this occur. It's more common for me to see killers say a group of survivors are SWF when they're not because they are upset that they lost to solos.
Yep. A lot of killers accuse players of being in an SWF even if they aren't. I had a killer face camp me in the basement a few days because he thought I was friends with the other guys (I was solo). He was very salty.

This is something a lot of us wanted when they announced the 4th year anniversary crowns. I wear the crown on my David all the time ;D

Yep, the absolutely did.
Exact words "they play him because they know they can get 3/4 kills every game especially with builds that make it even harder to play against. Those people are toxic".
Same person also said if you care more about winning than having fun that automatically makes you toxic.
Same Bull unfortunately. Toxic play used an excuse when someone loses fair and square. It's a game people. There are winners and losets.
I must of missed it then. I don't think many people would agree with that.

Why even come into the thread if you dislike these discussions so much? People are going to keep making posts until she is a balanced killer.

That's the thing, some killers don't even try to win. They grabe a dude, facecamp him and just wait in the basement. If you are in SWF, you warned your friends, they finish 5 gens, leave and only you had your game ruined by some troll.
I can, more or less, understand why people camp to win. Lack of skills in chase, etc... But some persons just want to ruin your experience at all cost.
Exactly. Some people just want to ruin the game for others. They don't care about winning.

100%. Anyone claiming trying to win "in of itself" alone is toxic.... needs to go eat some ice creams, watch Care Bears and play "It Takes Two" instead.
I don't think anyone has said that unless I've missed it. What I call toxic is the killer repeatedly smacking the survivor on hook, camping with Iri Head (or face camping as LF), slugging and leaving the survivor to bleed out, etc. There really isn't a reason to camp at the beginning of the game (a smart team will just do gens) unless survivors are looping near the hooked person.
Edit: I'm talking about camping near the beginning of the game. I don't care if killer camps someone that is almost dead or at the end of the game.

Nope.
They're mechanics in the game. If you can't handle it, don't play.
I'd say that's being toxic. Just because you can do those things doesn't mean it can't be toxic.
-
I wish my games were fun today. Went against 3 stridor spirits in a row. Just exited the game after that.

Yep. Wraith is gross.

Man I hope so.
So many people on this forum have thrown out some great ideas for helping reduce the grind for new players that would definitely help with player retention (I’ve had two friends quit because they couldn’t stand the grind for the perks they wanted), but BHVR seems to adamant about keeping the “bloodpoint economy” in check.
Taking away perk tiers, having frequent bloodhunt events, removing BP caps in game, etc.
They seem to be worried about how the community will treat the new players coming in from RE, but I don’t think they ever stopped to think about how they’re treating them. No one wants to grind 20 hours to get one or two perks unlocked for a build they want.
Not to mention that the best way to farm bloodpoints in this game is hidden behind a DLC wall...
I have pretty much everything unlocked on Xbox, but I'll be switching to PC very soon. The grind is gonna be insane. 😫
-
I'm loving this chapter! I'm gonna buy it on console and PC.
-
Yep! I'll be changing mine to Leon. He's one of my favorite game characters!
-
Because they like getting easy wins? Idk. Just my guess.
-
I think it needs a nerf or changed.
-
Idk... I've been wearing it and I've been tunneled less AND I had a killer give me hatch. :)
-
He seems very strong. Might need nerfed.

I got reported by a killer for looping... lol

Stridor Spirit is sooo unfun and unfair to play against, so I can understand why their upset. They shouldn't have said those things, though! That is just unnecessary and being a horrible person. I personally just move on to the next game without saying anything.

Tell that to the 5 to 10 minute wait times for a survivor game.
Mine are instant during the day and only take 2-3 minutes at night. During the day for killer it takes me around 4-5 minutes to get a killer game and it's instant at night. I have never waited that long for a survivor game.

Then, unfortunately, that's just the way it is at lower Ranks.
The Killers there don't know any better, they've not been taught how to play any other way.
Unfortunately tunneling happens a lot in all ranks. I play in red ranks and tunneling is very common in the games I play.
-
I've never played Bill, so I don't know about that. I just think tunneling has gotten way worse since the DS nerf. I've been taking more breaks.

Can't complain that the devs didn't do something, when they actually did, but you refuse to use it.
Doesn't stop tunneling. It's not my fault if my teammates don't use BT...

During one of the surveys they asked question around a possible tournament mode. Maybe we get more information on the 5th anniversary stream.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2201216#Comment_2201216
Devs already did something about it. They buffed BT.
That doesn't stop tunneling. Not everyone uses the perk anyways.
-
DS does not stop tunneling. I don't know why people keep saying this.
To the OP: Yep, tunneling seems to be out of control at the moment. I'm hoping the devs eventually do something about it.
-
It won't be her.

@TGB said:
The thing I REALLY don't get is the "tunneling" accusation. I think this one MOST speaks volumes about the mentality of these Survivors.
If a Killer is actually tunneling someone, there is a reason for it. A strategical reason for it. But instead of seeing it that way, these Survivors must think it's, like... because it's THEM. Like, this Killer knows WHO they are, and want to PERSONALLY tunnel them just because they're out to get them.
It's the most psychologically... disturbing accusation, to be honest. It literally implies that they think there is a deep, personal reason that a Killer is focusing on them, and not simply because they're on their last hook, are injured, are really close, and nobody else is even around. The gameplay reasons for the focus fire is completely and utterly mentally blocked. It is a personal thing.
Somehow.
I don't think it's that deep. People just find tunneling and camping very unfun. That's why I rarely play survivor now.
-
Maybe I was just unlucky, but I absolutely got tunneled in almost all of my games. I get camped often as well. It's gotten to the point that I rarely play survivor (just for the challenges).
-
I kinda see it as cheating and I personally wouldn't do it.
