Lightweight should reduce footstep sounds

Theyd rather blame their loss on the other side playing unfairly than admit they were outplayed.

4 flashlights?

I don't think theres an entitlement for the 4k but the hatch is still flawed. It encourages suicides and DCs, or a survivor intentionally abandoning another just to take the hatch. And again, hatch standoffs shouldn't be the problem they are.Warlock_2020 said:Wow. I can't get over how many of the players on this forum are so entitled to what they see as theirs. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the hatch. We are not entitled to 4k. If they do two gens and that is it and the 4th gets the hatch, I lose zero sleep over it. I'd rather that than some drawn out hide and seek. If players have zero hope other than the gates, we will have far less survivors and no game to play.
Get over your entitled mentality already.

The emblem system is flawed for both sides. You rank up so fast as killer that rank 10 skill level killers end up rank 1 way before they should be and it just makes it a miserable experience.EntityDispleased said:Yes. Mainly because the survivor emblem system is seriously flawed. If you and your team were to get wiped out with 5 gens left but you kept going back and forth with hooks and unhooks, you'll easily pip. If you were to focus on any other emblem throughout the match such as lightbringer or boldness and you don't escape in the end, you'll be lucky to even black pip. That's because the emblem system favors benevolence over others for some odd reason. -
I'd be okay with the hatch if they fixed standoffs. If the survivor is hit, they have a few seconds where they can't interact with the hatch, essentially meaning they can't escape through it unless they get there ahead of the killer. Still leaves issues with it, but at least prevents the standoffs
-
Pipping as Survivor relies a lot on your team failing. If you're not getting unhooks and heals you're not getting your pips. Those are also split among 4 people. Every unhook you're competing against 2 other survivors for while trying to remain unseen and unbroken. Killers pip faster cause they do all the work for their side themselves. Which is also why higher rank killers are so diverse in actual skill level, because they rank up just by playing without having to really think about pips.

Since when is flashlight luck?
-
Gen tap dude. Its a bit slower but if you're not good enough to find the totem or hit Greats, just gen tap. Ruin has enough counters already.
-
I use M&A, Ruin, Nurses Calling and NOED on her, though I find I don't get to endgame often already so NOED is flexible. M&A works great with Nurses Calling on hag cause of her small terror radius.

Dead by Daylight: Dwight's Gone Wild
-
I had a similar thing happen last night. I was chasing someone, one person was dead, two gens were done and suddenly I got notification the trap door was open
-
How does that make deliverance worthless? How does that affect it at all? Getting a token from a deliverance unhook doesn't affect the unhooked any differentlypowerbats said:No because Deliverance would be worthless at that point since it's for other people unhooking the hooked person.
I mean they're exposed and can't heal or be healed for a minimum of 60 seconds so if found again it's an easy down and quite often they go and hide and don't do gens. If they go do gens then they're fresh meat ready to be rehooked.
-
I honestly forget to put on add-ons usually. So Id say Meyers and Hag are easy without add-ons
-
Damn, good job dude. They sound pretty mad too
-
Ace because he has some of the most flamboyant cosmetics in the game

Dead by Daylight needs more twink representationPhantomMask20763 said:Can we get a cute dude instead? We already have Daddy David and right now the only real cutie is Dwight

At this point I'm just ecstatic to have something new to do
-
Winter is a cold time to camp but the woods look beautiful so it's worth it. Just dress warm
-
Gimme a completely androgynous survivor with extensive dodging of using pronouns at all when referring to them
-
I know it used to be a bug that you'd get splinters for killers you have but I was under the impression thatd been patched some time ago
-
Nurse is honestly more spirit-like than Spirit is. Anyway the thought of being ripped apart by a chainsaw or bludgeoned with a sledgehammer isnt exceptionally appealing so id say Hillbilly or Leatherface
-
Dwight is our twink representation, let David be our bear representation
-
Maybe an ultra rare one that lets you recover fully at unbreakable speed and consumes it fully once you're up, but definitely not one that lets you instantly get up.
-
He's slightly faster. But I dont consider addons when determining a killers abilities because you won't always have them .The speed he has isn't enough to combat effective genrush. It's good for approaching unnoticed and has varying value in a chase, but in contrast to killers like Pig who can slow survivors down who aren't being chased, or Meyers who has, in my opinion, a much more rewarding stealth ability, the Wraith just can't reliably put on that kind of pressurePoweas said:@ClogWench said:
My problem with him is he has little to no map pressure. His power is better than it once was but he has no tools for putting pressure on the map, limited tools for travelling the map quickly, as well as a pretty major weakness to flashlights. He's not the worst killer but he's one of the easiest to gen rush and has so little he can do against competent survivors. He's kind of fast while invisible which sorts out map pressure. Then with Windstorm addons he's fast as f0ck. But that's your opinion I guess. I personally think he does well.

Quick and Quiet, Lightweight, Urban Evasion and Streetwise is my favorite build.
-
If they've helped me out that match I'll take a hook for them.
-
Nurse has one of the most unique ones in my opinion, given that she's one of the only ones not to use her weapon. And it doesn't seem evil the way others are
-
Id like to see that. Assuming Billy and Nurse saw slight nerfs it'd be a really good step towards not only stopping gen rush but balancing most low map pressure killers
-
I'd like to see the Daily Rituals get a bit of a buff too. Besides that though I absolutely agree on rank rewards. The ranking system doesn't serve much purpose as is outside of bragging rights. Even in matchmaking it's pretty busted. Least they could do is give you incentive to rank up. As it stands it's better to derank
-
Had someone run sabbo while I tried to get Adept pig. Someone broke a hook just before getting downed and I just waited for it to respawn to hook them. They felt it was abusing gameplay mechanics for not picking them up immediately
-
If you insist on running TotH try Third Seal. It gives TotH something to protect since it's otherwise useless. NOED is fine cause it's unexpected and can get you kills you otherwise would miss out on but at the end of the day its a crutch perk and you want to avoid having to rely on it. Discordance is fantastic.
-
Xenomorph from Alien would be interesting, and Ripley would make a great survivor. Besides that possibly the Demogorgon from Stranger Things and one of the teens as the survivor. I'm not sure of the logistics of it but having it function almost like a mix of Spirit and Wraith could be interesting. You travel around the Upside Down completely unseen and unable to see survivors, albeit you can hear things and see scratch marks. You can then create an opening between worlds and enter the realm with survivors to get a jump on them but you can only get back into the upsidedown through the opening you made.
-
I used to play with a few people who had very limited understanding of how most killers worked. One would suicide as soon as he faced Freddy cause there was "no way to play against this". We'd also play KYF and they'd joke when I picked Nurse cause they felt she was the weakest killer, only to get immediately bodied. People just find it easier to blame their shortcomings on their opposition
-
Third Seal works really nicely on them as well as Save the Best for Last. Unfortunately Legion has extremely limited perk synergy. Could combine StBfL and Rancor.
-
The frame rate is absolute garbage. I'll hit someone and then they literally disappear cause the framerate just shuts down for a moment. God help me if I'm in the corn at the time...
-
This kinda feels like a direct nerf to it then. I understand it can speed up other things like healing but most of those things you don't do with more than one other survivor.
-
Could be implied that "Show me what you can do" is a statement being directed at the survivor with Prove Thyself rather than said by that survivor
-
As much as I like her as a character, Laurie Strodes make me see red instantly. Also bald Dwight activates my fight or flight response. Theyre almost always toxic but bad at it.
-
Still doesn't address the problem with them at all unfortunately
-
I'm liking the changes to Leader and Surveillance seems really good now too. I'm actually glad I have it on all my killers now haha
-
Where are people seeing the patch notes, I cant find them
-
Killer add-ons often give the killer much better odds of getting those kills. If Huntress got to keep iridescent head every time she got a 3k then she'd almost never be seen without one. Killers get a constant benefit from their add-ons rather than a single use. They don't have the luxury of bringing it in but not using it.DarkGGhost said:why not let the killer keep the addon if he get 3 kills
-
Why punish them for not needing to use their item then?
-
I wouldn't say that's the biggest complaint. I don't think I've ever seen a complaint about that at all actually. As much as I hate facing Instaheals or BNPs, I don't see a reason to punish a survivor who didn't need to use it. Killer Add Ons generally have a more consistent effect rather than the occasional single use effect(looking at you, Fredward) so it makes sense for those to be consumed.
-
The game wasn't designed initially with the mechanic of survivors having constant communication. That already creates a huge power imbalance. Lobby Dodging doesn't make it an easier win, it makes it an even match. At the end of the day the fault is on the devs for refusing to address the imbalance, not the killers who don't want to play an uphill battle or the SWF groups who benefit from the oversight.powerbats said:@Vietfox said:

I play solo and still get lobbydodged.
Same and this sewf don't want to play the game normally is total nonsense since how are they supposed to
get their friends to play to learn the game? It's like hey I just got 3 people to buy the game and this help support the community and so I'm going to play with them.
Apparently entitled killer mains that use the entitled easier win seem to think people that introduce others to the game should be forced to buy a brand new copy. Just so they can play with their friends now imagine if they were forced to do that on a $60.00 game.
