  • Considering half his power is based around seeing auras, i can understand giving him a little leniency on Distortion

  • I like the concept but they really are useless. No perk synergy, no intimidation, their power doesnt actually benefit them in any way

  • When I see someone do that, I'll usually down the unhooked prrson but chase down the unhooker. Buys me a bit of extra time as they have to heal their friend but doesn't ruin it for the farmed survivor. Generally tunnel the farmer after that too
  • Dead by Daylight was never made with voice communication in mind and has never been properly balanced to accommodate it. That in conjunction with rank being an absolute trash fire leads to SWF being a nightmare for killers and the stsbdast for survivors
  • Favorite type is steel, though none of my favorites are steel types. Shuckle is my absolute favorite, Audino is second snd Bergmite/Avalugg for third. Love me those high defenses.

Isn't that the drug that turned a guy into a zombie or something weird ######### like that?

Still more civilised than the average dead by daylight player
  • I think that's the idea though. It doesn't have a trigger, which also means you can't run without using it up. So you either risk not having it or you walk everywhere.
  • Tunnelled and mori'd a laurie who was flashlight clicking and tbagging. Got called, and I quote, "Putrid piece of puss filled, maggoty ass fly ****" which was truly a unique experience. Also had one person send me a voice recording of him getting mad. Didn't say anything memorable but the fact that he recorded it really made it special <3
  • The devs keep buffing killers cause most of them are severely underwhelming right now. If you're having that much trouble you need to either find friends to play with or just practice and get better
  • DS wouldn't be bad but Sprint Burst would then suddenly only be useful against certain killers and useless against others. It's in a good place, albeit overused.
  • Survivors won't be happy with anything you run that may contribute to their deaths.
  • Yeah it seems like the hag is the most aesthetically fitting killer to get blighted
  • Almost every game I face a Kate she ends up dying first cause I never have to actually look for her. I'll walk past a tree and her hair whips me in the face. Really surprised they've left it

The answer is simple: because it has the potential to let bad killers get some kills in the end game despite their obvious inability to do so without that perk.

This is very true. But youll see a lot of the bad trash killer lol mains depend on it with their life

Like alot of trash survivor mains rely on Decisive with their lives?

Cause everyone in a single game uses DS right? Like white owl said it gives trash players the crutch and advantage they need to get kills.

I play at the highest level and yeah almost everyone does use DS and I am not using NOED to win.. I use the much weaker Blood Warden. So I don't see your point here.. there's stronger perks then NOED you know..
Yeah I get 2-3 decisives per game. Usually 4 Sprint Bursts/Lithes/Balanced Landings, and of course always 4 Self Cares. If anything in this game is a crutch it's self care.
  • Xenomorph and Ellen Ripley from Alien. Maybe the ability to swipe over pallets/windows with it's tail?
  • Tired of this event format but I appreciate there being a bit of variety in the rewards now
  • I got really lucky and got the achievement my first try. Never got it again tho. All of Mikey's best add-ons end up triggering DCs. Honestly if they won't punish people for DCing the least the devs could do is count a DC as a sacrifice
  • Props to you for getting 3 of them. 3 D Strikes and I'm sure they felt your perk was the unfair one 😂
  • It's not necessary for good nurses but that one add on that shows where she's gonna blink would be nice to have as part of her kit for newer killers
  • It's possible that Deliverance prevents it since it's a super easy way of getting an otherwise rare trophy
  • Damn now the game is unplayable
  • Survivors call it a noob perk cause they think they've won once the exit gates are powered.
  • I do love hearing survivors complain about getting pulled out of the hatch, acting like it's their right to it

on console the situation is even worse because killers have it a lot harder due to fps and controller aim, I wouldnt play killer on console either tbh.

FPS is a legit issue on console, but aiming with a controller isn't as big of a deal as people make it out to be. The only killers it would even remotely affect are Nurse and Huntress, it's literally a non-issue for everyone else. And if you have been playing console shooters for 20+ years as I have, aiming with a controller is quite easy. Hell, I turn off aim assists in games that let me and I have absolutely no trouble sniping or anything. PC players always make it seem like its hard to aim at stuff with a controller, and while a mouse is indeed better for that purpose you can still have excellent aim with a stick.

In regards to using a controller, more is affected than just aim. Your turning speed is limited, and anything that involves changing directions quickly becomes slower on a stick because you have to go from (for example) far left, slight left, still, slight right, far right, and repeat. Takes longer than just far left to far right immediately. Though that doesnt come into play much in dead by daylight. Aside from just Nurse and Huntress, I'd say Billy can be harder to lsnd chainsaws, and lunges are harder to land on a controller too.

I mean it takes a fraction of a fraction of a second to move the stick from far left to far right. Turning speed is a legit point, but if you put the sensitivity high enough it doesn't matter. You also have to consider the benefits of using an analog stick for movement over WASD, as you can't move in smooth motions or at strange angles with WASD. Going around a loop, for example, it's quite easy to just press the stick towards the object you are looping to hug it as close as possible without having to turn your camera. With WASD, you have to hold W and turn the camera to hug the wall which is a lot more difficult to do.

Again DBD isn't CSGO. You don't need precise aim, hell you really don't even need to aim. I don't find lunges hard to land once you learn to not try and track the tiny movements survivors might make and just swing straight.

Also from what I've heard, Billy chainsaw is actually easier with controller than m/kb because you can flick easier with a control stick. I don't play Billy so I don't know either way personally, that's just what I've heard.

In regards to the left and right thing, because of that range of motion with a stick, doing it super fast won't make your character actually move mucy compared to m&kb(first example that comes to mind is dodging left and right in overwatch. It just looks like you're slightly vibrating instead of actually moving because it doesn't have time to pick up the full range of input the stick is processing). But that's irrelevant to dbd. I agree theres not a lot that's too much harder on controller besides nurse and huntress. A small difference for everyone else but nothing too bad. On the flip side, survivor is WAY easier with a controller.
  • Yeah I've never heard the frosty eyes one. Sounds like an angry survivor is just messing with you

  • Love to see Pyramid Head as a killer. Not sure exactly how he'd work but I have a few ideas
  • Overdrive seems a bit overkill with the changes already, but I really like everything else. Would you keep the tantrum from hitting a wall still?
  • His power offers him absolutely nothing during a chase, at best it let's him restart a chase if he loses sight of someone. If you're not used to facing him he can be intimidating but once in the dream state you can basically treat him like any other killer. He can't do much to impede generator repair, and if someone gets downed you can heal them and he can't actually pick them up while you do that. Freddy's biggest strength is making people DC cause he's annoying at best.
  • I like them partially because they don't actually alter her power or playstyle at all, unlike a lot of killers purple add-ons. It's just a direct addition to her traps and changes how survivors act when tripping one
  • Once you're experienced, not only is it extremely easy to get the skill check, but that 4 second stun gives you a lot of breathing room and a second chance to loop the killer and waste their time. Dribbling is literally the only real way to counter it and that's situational at best.
  • Sprint Burst, Self Care, Lightweight and Small Game currently.
  • Like almost every game there's gonna be things that are confusing the first time it happens. And as for dribbling I can promise you it's more frustrating for the killers who have to deal with Decisive Strike regularly. If dribbling is a cheap move, it's only because decisive strike is twice as cheap, hence all the discourse about it right now.
  • I'm not denying that the game has flaws but most of your complaints are either about things that really aren't that big of a deal (dark sense, pull offs) or really are just something you need to get better at. People dribble survivors with decisive strike because it's the only way to counter the perk. Boil Over is a bad perk in general though.
  • I really like using the ear. A lot of syrvivors will pop a trap and then think you didn't teleport to it and start working on something, unaware that you're there. Less viable in red ranks/against SWF(as most things are)
  • Going by their Canon abilities, I think Freddy would be the worst to encounter. In the setting of DbD tho, the hag would be terrifying.
  • If they win they want to gloat. If they lose they believe it was undeserved. And since theres truly no penaltys to talking ######### after a game, people are free to be as toxic as possible. They'll always find something to whine about.
  • Probably the worst killer who's ability doesnt further weaken him. His chainsaw is so situational, I'll get games where I never actually use it
  • Give him the ability to kill someone he's carrying with tombstone

What if the hatch never opens and it just spawns on 3 gens left and the survivor has to open it by filling a progress bar with skill checks.
This honestly seems like the best course. Gives the killer an actual chance and stops the hatch from being an undeserved free win.

That said, the hatch doesn't spawn on 3 gens left .It spawns when the number of completed gens is greater than the number of living survivors
  • Last night I downed a guy, saw his friend with a medkit coming, just looked at him as he used a Septic Agen on him and immediately downed him again. Idk why so many survivors are so bad with insta heals, but it's fun to waste them
  • I think it's what happens when someone tags something with a map. I've never actually seen it yho
  • Love the Disfigured Ear on the hag. Taking away a survivors hearing always throws them off
  • Self Care, Lithe, Quick and Quiet, Dance With Me. I suck at looping so I just try to lose the killer asap
  • At this point if you can't handle one side BMing then this probably isn't the game for you. The majority of both sides are fairly toxic. If you can't just shrug it off and move on, you're gonna have a bad time.
  • Make Your Choice with Mint Rag is stupidly powerful too. And works well in tandem with DH
  • DCing should have a penalty for everyone, not just killers.
  • I actually get more ebony moris than ivory. I think it's that you're usually gonna get 1 ultra rare per bloodweb at higher levels and for Billy that's the only option. Even for killers with UR add-ons, that's still like 1/3 chance the UR on the web is gonna be a mori.
  • Both feel like rewards for playing poorly. DS can sorta be played around but the hatch is honestly a dumb mechanic, at least in the state it's in now.
