  • 3 vs 1, "we need to slug guys."

3 vs 1, survivors rush gens because the odds are against them, go down to NOED "your fault for rushing gens"

God there are some entitled babies among the killer community. How much do the odds have to be stacked in your favour for you to be happy?

Given how I've seen the majority of killerd play I'm really not surprised. Most just can't admit they aren't very good at the game because it would bruise their ego.

Go watch the best streamers play the game and learn. That's why I did. Now I'm managing just fine as long as I'm using a decent killer.
You literally can't stop whining about NOED and slugging. Maybe if you worked on getting better instead of blaming all your problems on the killer, you'd have a better time.

What do you want survivors to do? Because god knows some killers get salty when they decide it's not for them and disconnect.
Doesn't answer my question at all. What do you want the killer to do in the event a match ends up being 3 on 1?
    Don't slug?
And why do you think killers slug
I mean don't slug for the 4k...or 3k should I say in this situation.

But seriously if you need to slug at all in a game where only 3 survivors spawn in it says a lot about their skill level as a killer.
The killers goal is to kill the survivors. Plain and simple. If that requires slugging then so be it. You wouldn't begrudge survivors staying in a trial while one is hooked and the gates are open. Naturally you'd want everyone to escape. Why is it so bad that a killer, who's goal is ultimately to kill survivors, would use a tactic to better ensure they get the 4/3k?

And you didn't answer my question.
To answer your question, I want survivors to play the game cause that's what I'm gonna do. If it's 3v1 that's not the killers fault. Might not necessarily be the survivors fault either but it's not the killers fault if someone DCs pregame.

And now my question again, why do you think killers slug?

  • Camping is a legit strategy though. It's true because I read it on here.

Also don't rush the gens in this scenario, it's not nice and killers don't like it. Give them a bit of time for the hooked survivors health bar to decrease ya know? Go do totems or something or you're getting hit with NOED and you'll fully deserve it.
You really are on a warpath to make every post about NOED huh

  • A character on The Good Place was trying to figure out the name of a female plumber and guessed Clog Wench
  • It won't be. The line of what's camping and what's not, what's situationally useful camping vs blatant face camping is just too thin to make it reportable. I understand it sucks but considering it can often be a useful or necessary tactic, it's not gonna be reportable ever.

As survivor u have to hit a skill check at least, killer side doesnt make sense. No skill perk
For the survivor that uses DS, that one skill check can spell the difference between a win and a loss. For the killer it gives them one, maybe two hooks, not even necessarily kills. Plus survivor actions can outright remove the perk entirely.

Also if you're good at skill checks you'd realize the DS one isn't that hard.
  • Rank Reset I find makes solo survivor a lot harder while making killer games extremely easy(to a point of not being fun at all). I understand the idea behind it but in practice it just makes things obscenely imbalanced for a week

A lot of survivors think they've won once they do 5 gens. Killers getting a last stand power move against them seems unfair because by that point they've already won. If you play around it though it's not nearly as busted as it seems. The killer still has to have been doing work the rest of the match, or they'll likely only get 1 person with it. If they're getting 2-3 then the survivors are playing unnecessarily risky.
A lot of killers think they earned a hook by catching a survivor. The survivor still has to hit the skillcheck to use DS.

A lot of killers think they earned a 4k when there is 3 gens to go and 1 survivor left. The killer still needs to outplay the survivor at the hatch for that last kill.
While I agree about DS to a degree(it isn't as easy to work around as NOED and the problem comes when non obsessions have it) I don't think comparing it to the hatch is quite fair. There's no outplaying once both sides get there, it's just whoever acts first loses. The killer has no tools available to counter the hatch. I don't think getting 3 kills immediately earns them the 4th, but if the survivor knows where the hatch is they win by default and the killer can't stop that. Plus it's a built in mechanic and not a perk.

  • If you can't figure out why they dodged, it's likely not because of you.
  • The devs only accept Aramaic or biblical Hebrew. Reports in other languages are ignored.
  • Nurse by far. Between her looks, her wheezing, the way she interacts with things through telekinesis, and just the concept behind her I think she's an incredibly well designed character.
Hag  would be a close second because of how far removed from her humanity she looks. Where the others are evil, crazy or deranged, Hag is just primal and her design makes her look more like a horrific force of nature than a conscious killer.
  • Ruin is one of few tools that help slow the game down (just a little bit). Some killers can do without it but against skilled survivors they need to impose massive pressure. Using Ruin doesn't make you bad at all. At most it just means you're not the absolute best of the best and even then a lot of them use ruin.

  • People, companies, do not stop anything until it is no longer profitable.

  • Toxic survivors look for whatever excuse they can to make their failures someone else's fault. That's just how they are.
  • Bond, Open Handed, Balanced Landing and Q&Q. Used to use self care a lot but with bond it's really not necessary or even useful.
  • Most survivors have never used a drive through, I guess.
I go through the drive through at McDonald's and Ronald personal stomps my head into the ground and cuts off my finger.
  • You're willingly choosing to play a role that's supposed to be at the mercy of the opposing role, knowing full well the possibility of being camped or tunneled. If you find that happening enough that you stop enjoying playing the vulnerable role, start playing the opposition.
  • I'm really doubting it's a shapeshifter, or even African related at all.

Really this just not too difficult... they put the proper fix for DS in deliverance... put a prerequisite in the perk and itll be good... get a safe unhook(s) or complete a certain number of gens maybe a combo of things to make the perk activate... at least then theyll have to earn the strike...
This is by far the best suggestion I've seen for this perk yet.
  • Bloodpoint bonus to playing against SWF. I understand it's extremely hard to balance it as a mechanic, but I'd be so much more willing to face SWF groups if I got a bonus for essentially playing at a disadvantage.
  • Props to you for still getting a 3k against that, and with Trapper no less
  • Huntress is manageable. Harder for sure but definately not as heavily handicapped as console Nurse

I hope so, it will happen at least once for sure, honestly i just hope most killers gets new cosmetics, it's always the same ones that get new ones, same for survs, it's usually always meg and stuff who get LOADS of cosmetics, kinda annoying imo

Honestly they're actually pretty good about who gets what. A few characters might get more than others (Huntress has a lot, hag has very little) but overall they balance cosmetic distribution well

There's a reason why I don't play this game. It begins with "E" and ends with "A".

That's what I thought so too when I first heard of it, then i realized it was missing something...the p2w!!! This game smells a bit fishy but I might as well enjoy it while it's not littered with p2w microtransactions

Wait, Apex Legends doesn't have microtransactions? A EA game without microtransactions?

    What. The. Actual. F#ck.

It has microtransactions but they're solely for cosmetic items. Theres two legends you can pay money for, but you can also unlock them through gameplay and neither is a game changer.
  • Whining about killer buffs aside, I've seen a few instances of survivors and killers spawning together lately. Having it happen to me as well as seeing a survivor get hit instantly when the trial starts. Less often than before but it still happens

As a killer, the amount of times I see a survivor fail a healing check just as I approach and they run is staggering.

Whenever this happens to me, 99% of the time it's because a skill check triggered as I stopped the action. By the time the audio notification pops, I've already let go of the action button and have no opportunity to even hit the skill check. That can happen when healing or repairing gens, and it's not uncommon. I think it's a latency issue.

Oh I know, it's just funny how often I see it happen at that exact moment I'm approaching them. Healing skill checks pop up pretty scarcely I find so it's funny how often it's that exact moment that I'm coming that they proc

Yall bumpin something I posted in August lol

@Peanits can you close this thread, as per OP’s response to the recent bumps?

Why? Soemone will just make a new thread; at least this way, there's not another thread about the same thing. I never understood this "OHMYGODYOUPOSTEDINANOLDTHREAD" bs. If the topic is relevant to people, then it's relevant, goddamn.

The guy who posted it likely doesnt care to be flooded with notifications of people commenting on a thread he made half a year ago.
  • Removing the speed burst and making you unable to move basically means you'll never get that surprise attack unless you bodyblock them in a corner.
  • Sometimes I get survivors in my lobby and I just hit ready without really paying attention to what they have and just walk in with Franklin's regardless
  • As a killer, the amount of times I see a survivor fail a healing check just as I approach and they run is staggering.

    4: Legion
    3: Hag
    2: Doctor
    1: Nurse

Surprised no one here said Nurse. Hers always felt just really creepy to me. She really thinks she's doing a good thing.
  • As killer I kinda forgot about it. Seems like it brought out the worst in a lot of players. Also survivor queue times were horrendous. Nah this event was worse than having no event at all. But hopefully it's a learning experience for next time.
  • You still get bloodpoints if the killer DCs dude. If you mean event points then you don't get Vessel points no, but you still get the Gen points. If you're getting 0 points it means you personally left the match.
  • He's also one of few killers who's power has the ability to hurt him. Where survivors can Dead Hard or dodge a trap, Trappers larger hitbox will step in traps or force him to remove a trap mid chase
  • I mostly dodge bad ping. If I'm having an exceptionally bad day and come across 4 Claudettes or 4 flashligting Feng's I dodge, but in that case I suppose I'd just deal with it or just step away from the game til I'm ready to deal with that kinda thing again.
  • It's the reason I DO run bond. Wanna hide all game, YOU get to take the killers attention while I go contribute
  • If the lanterns at least had an aura it'd give us a chance, even if it's just while carrying. But considering you can't even know what empty holder a lantern is gonna return to, and it only counts while a survivor is alive on a hook, it's pretty hard to get them
  • Trapper should start with all his traps honestly. He takes enough time having to set them up already, he shouldn't have to go find his power around the map in the first place.

When I was a newbie, I thought you ran slower while you were injured. Did anyone else have anything like this when they were just starting playing? c:

Thats what logic would dictate you yeah. Only in DBD you actually run faster when you are injured.....
Being a newbie, I never understood when the hatch spawned

I think you run at the same rate, unless I'm mistaken. I've had friends with the same issue. Have seen plenty of people looking for hatch when it wouldn't have spawned yet. I think it's common.

Never noticed the speed burst you get when you become injured?

That's the adrenaline burst. And it only lasts a short while so no you don't run faster when injured!

Adrenaline activates when the last gen has been repaired

Not the perk Adrenaline, just the idea of adrenaline in general upon getting badly hurt

Any killer who can nullify loops will inevitably be called OP

I think that is because looping is literally all a survivor has. I mean, what can a survivor do? Not like we can fight back. Not like we can outrun most killers. Juking through looping is literally a survivor's only avenue of escape. If THAT pisses you off, I don't know what to tell you.

Work on breaking line of sight and hiding, work on not getting found in the first place. If a teammate gets grabbed run around and pop all her traps. Or take advantage of her slower speed and run somewhere else she hasn't had time to trap. Learn to react to a killers weaknesses.
