Got it, thank you.SomeGuyFromIT said:The specs for that model # list as a Pentium N3520 and integrated graphics so you would not be able to run any modern game on the system. I have an HP Omen laptop with an RX580 and I run a GTX1060 in my self-built gaming desktop.
If you are wanting to get into PC gaming, I would recommend building your own PC as most system integrators cheap out on essential components such as motherboards and power supplies to keep the cost down and by building your own you can ensure you get quality parts.

Damn, wish I could see some of these

Stupid console.

I'd tell you my specs but I dont really know how to find them (Google didn't help) I dont even have the box anymore. I do know that it can run elder scrolls oblivion fine, but slows down a bit when running Depth (the shark game) on low graphic settings. I dont know if this is useful.Master said:Well a HP laptop is can be everything, you need to be more precise...
You need a decent GPU for DBD, thats most important. -
My Idea for a fix was to let legion use exposed status perks in feral frenzy, but after they instadown a survivor they are stunned and the recharge for frenzy is a bit longer.
But your ideas are better. -
Yeah, and how they keep wiggling in the middle of the hook animation while you're frozen sliding left and right. Its bs.
-
I did look at it, just not for very long since I had to go to class.Dreamnomad said:I'll just copy+paste the link since you didn't look at it apparently. Same concept, just a little more fleshed out.
So I've seen this idea floated around on DBD forums for as long as I've been playing about a killer that can disguise itself as a survivor. This is a terrible idea for a killer in the normal version of the game for numerous reasons. However, I've been brainstorming a way that this would work quite well as an alternate game mode. Please bear with the wall of text as I flesh out the concept.
The Chameleon: Both the survivor and killer votes for a survivor during the lobby once all players are present. All players and the killer will appear as an identical survivor. The killer has 0 terror radius and can attack using The Spirit's weapon. If the killer hits a survivor that is stationary or was performing an action within the last 2 seconds the attack will put the survivor in the dying state. The killer runs at the same speed as the nurse, but vaults the same speed as a survivor. The killer's view is 3rd person. The killer can perform all actions that a normal survivor can, up to and including unhooking a survivor (more on this later).
The killer runs the following perks:
Booby Trap Chest: You can booby trap one chest at a time. If no chest is booby trapped, reveal the aura of all chests. When a survivor opens a booby trapped chest, you can see that survivors aura for 30 seconds or until hooked.
Generator Saboteur: After successfully completing 3 skill checks while working a generator, the next skill check you fail will damage the generator by 50%.
Lack of Empathy: Unlocks potential in one's Aura reading ability. Dying or injured survivor's Auras are revealed to you when within 16 meters.
False Save: You begin the game with 3 tokens. You lose a token by unhooking a survivor. You lose the ability to attack and move at normal survivor run speed for 30 seconds after unhooking a survivor.
The killer also has the following innate traits. When the killer fails a skill check while healing a survivor, it will put the survivor in the dying state. If the killer is standing still and performs a lunge attack, the killer will injure itself. The killer can put itself in the dying state this way, but won't die if the bleedout timer runs out. The killer can heal itself at normal speed.
This game mode can only be played by solo queue. In the game lobby and during the game, player's names are not displayed. The user interface will display 5 survivor icons instead of 4. These icons are randomized every 30 seconds.
Survivors do not get to pick their perks. They have the following perks automatically. Empathy rank 1 (if the killer is injured, survivors will see the killer's aura, but it will appear like a normal survivor's aura), Windows Of Opportunity rank 3, We're Gonna Live Forever rank 3, and No One Left Behind rank 3.
The survivor perks are generally picked to encourage cooperative play, but the killer's abilities are all designed to create distrust.
Edit: it's good to know that there are similar ideas floating around. It shows the dev's that we the community know what we want for the future of the game. -
True, but with people always asking for new game modes there are really only two to go for. This and a hide and seek type of mode. This would be a good thing to implement because it would change up the way people play dbd. Yeah they come out with new killers perks and all that stuff but it’s still the same ######### objective every, single, time. No variety.Avariku said:honestly, I like this idea, but I don't think it fits in with DBD at all.
it completely removes the actual "killers" from the game and they are kinda the whole reason DBD exists to begin with.
with all of that said, sounds like a fun game on its own. reminds me of some the garrys mod stuff. -
It should get more readable if you click on it somewhere. I don’t play on pc so I don’t know.
-
That’s just the little box telling you that you can enter text. The actual chat box is more of a solid black I think when people start sending the chats.
-
Best thing ever is when you have Franklin’s Demise and the last survivor has an item and you smack them. Even better if it’s a purple flash light, insta heal medkit, purple toolbox, or a key they didn’t get to use.

I feel it would be more appropriate for Kate to be able to win chases against the killers more, like lose the killers line of sight.

Legion is good at getting you pips. I somehow get iridescent gatekeeper even though the survivors do 4 and sometimes all the gens. Only problem is my matches last over 25 minutes.
-
Iridescent button only takes effect after you give someone the deep wound status.

At first it looks like swf is gonna be able to counter it easily but that's just the easy way to look at it.
In reality when I'm playing swf I don't say for example "hey Budd I'm coming be working on this gen with you".
And I'm saying this while the point of his second ability is not even backstabbing people so he can get advantage of it, it's scaring people so they stick together.
If you have played the legion by now you will probably notice that the only problem with legion is that if the survivors are spread around the map he can't use his ability efficiently and that's his only problem.
He has no counter to this as he can't use his power the way he should use it and has to tunnel 1 person.
And with this backstabbing feature added to him if the survivors decided to split up and counter him this way, he's still gonna be able to use the secondary power and catch someone making survivors decide to stick together or to go all alone.Yeah but SWF will start communicating more when they find out what killer it is. essentially making them near useless
-
SO MUCH READING!!! IT HURTS!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wraith feels the exact same as he did before. The speed boost doesn't do jack ######### due to it only giving him back the same distance he lost from ringing the bell. Add ons are good though. But without the add ons he's practically the same as before his buff.
-
This would just add more fuel to the SWF bonfire.

You can also use the Vanity Mirror with the Dead Rabbit. Its the same effect except you're tier 2 with I think a slightly bigger terror radius than Scratched Mirror. It's dope af.
Your lunge also won't be #########.
Use the letter as it gives normal lunge range
I know.
But then you can't use anything else for a 2nd Add-on.Pros: Faster movement speed than scratched mirror, further lunge than scratched mirror, see survivors through walls, smaller terror radius than normal tier 2.
Cons: No 2nd offering.
I feel like the pros out weigh the cons. The only thing the add ons were really good for is increasing the duration of tier 3. And if I remember correctly you can't go into tier 3 with vanity mirror.

Camping is a strategy (A trashy one but a strategy non the less) and there is nothing you can do to change that.
Plus It's unbelievably easy to punish a killer who is camping. If the killer is camping, GO DO GENS FOR ######### SAKE!! You all are treating camping like it's on the highest pedestal of evil when in reality it isn't. Stop acting like all four survivors are going to die because the killer is camping. you have PLENTY of time to do the gens while the killer is at the hook, so go do the generators.
Same with hatch stand offs.If you know the killer is camping the hatch, crouch around and do the remaining gens.
It's NOT that complicated.

At least it's not as bad as Bethesda.

Holy #########, there are a lot more people talking about “it goes both way” than I thought. I mentioned this near the end of the original post. CLEARLY not many of you read it through and through.

Clearly some people are too ignorant too see that I touched on this subject near THE END OF THE OP.Oblitiry said:This stupid ass argument literally goes both ways. Just swap the words survivor and killer with each other.
Fantastic right? No. It just boils down to too many people with low self esteem and mental issues play this game. And that's on BOTH roles. Not this magical bull ######### land of it just being one side. -

Well said.Vietfox said:I don't hate any kind of mains, i don't even dislike them, i just have fun with all these whinny players who blame the game instead of their skills, wether they are survivors or killers.
Yeah, some complaints are legit, but definitelly not all of them, just a few.
I, for instance, am a survivor main (i play both roles actually but more as a survivor than as a killer), but i do like some forum members who are killer mains. Why? Because they are reasonable people, like @George_Soros or @PhantomMask20763 . There are more, but i'm not gonna name them all.
PS: and most importantly, they don't dodge SWFs! -

You can't even throw the Clowns bottles through/in the fields. It somehow hits the corn and drops to the floor.

Maybe it's like the TMNT in Injustice 2, you swap out the power to play a different member. Idk, I haven't seen the PTB yet.

7,000 bloodpoints is pocket change in DBD. You can only buy at the most 2 items in the bloodweb and it is easily re obtainable by playing 1 game as either killer or survivor barely having to do anything. Stop crying about such a pitiful amount of bloodpoints. Now if it was 300,000 I would understand, but only 7,000? Really bruh?its for sentimental reasons
This is like complaining about losing an apple when you own an apple farm. Sorry but I wouldn't be sentimental if you dropped a quarter down the sink.
but what if it was a quarter my granda gave to me right before he was killed by a train
A quarter is a quarter. Just tell a 5 year old that a penny is worth more than a quarter and make a trade.

I try to do 1v1 with my friends from time to time but the rounds are impossible to finish. The reason is because the gens spawn too damn close to each other and the killer only has to walk 5 meters between the last three. When there are less than 4 survivors the gens should spawn more spread apart, not right [BAD WORD] next to each other. You should not be able to have any chance in a 1vs1.
Working as intended
If the survivor is not meant to have a chance then why does the game decrease the number of gens required based on the number of survivors? to give them a chance.

4 reflections, and 4 names scratched into the wall with tally marks under them. I'm sensing a multiple personality killer.

And yet it is a viable tactic. Stop whining about something that the devs have already discussed on multiple occasions. Camping is a thing, get over it. There will always be campers, just like there will always be teabagging survivors. Nothing any of you say will change it. If you go against a camper ,disconnect. Because if you are complaining about a tactic the killer is using, they probably deserve those bloodpoints more than you.
Edit: This is targeted at everyone, not just the OP.

When the last 3 generators are too close for the last survivor... its your fault for doing them last.Just go for the easy hatch out. sigh
When there is only one survivor, there are 4 gens total, the survivor has to do 2 to power the gates and have the hatch spawn in. I've tried multiple ways of doing them so they are more spread out but even then it doesn't matter, they spawn too close together.

Yes, but I think it wouldnt hurt to add a few more options such as gen placements if you want them very close together or spread apart. How many hits it takes to go down you know those kinds of thingsNaturally, but it sounds like OP is asking for changes to the base game, as opposed to more options for KYF.
I'm just saying that if there are less than 4 survivors, the gens seem to spawn closer together.
Based on your experience in KYF.
Not just KYF, I've also experienced it when 3 survivors get kicked out in the loading screen leaving me alone with the 1 survivor/killer. The gens still spawned unnecessarily close together.
