Killers shouldn't have too moonwalk to counter an unjustified mechanic. Also, good survivors can counter Bloodlust with pallets.

Not needing to mindgame at all would take away quite a bunch of fun of the Killer gameplay.

Blood lust is disabled so not really much to be proud of.

I fully expect this to become the norm for a while just with chained strong loops that even the best killers like Otz have to bloodlust.

If someone gets looped around one Structure for 5 Gens, the removal of Bloodlust is one of the lesser problems.

    @Topic:

If the Killer was not memeing, they were really inexperienced. Nothing to be proud of IMO, it does not look like you had that much of a challenge.

For year's Killer has been the most stressful job in the game - and the only "job", because playing Killer is more of performing a job than actually enjoying a game.

Then when people came to the forums to complain, every single thread is responded to with just a bunch of people copy/paste the same dismissive comments. "Just deal with it and move on" "but mori's exist" "all killers tunnel/camp" "you're just not good enough at the game" "SuRvIvEr'S hArDeR" - etc.

Unfortunately this is the game right now. They are not ever going to get "accurate data" taking more from the most stressful role to play in the game, people would sooner just not play when there are other games they can be enjoying more right now. Killer's already left, and are leaving making even less data. Players leaving because they don't want to deal with the added stress of BHVR's "test". Even less accurate data. There's 0 point to it all, and they've made a poor decision trying this test at this moment.

If you think that playing Killer is a Job and not playing a game, why do you play then?

I read that so often that Killer is SO stressful and not enjoyable, still I have decent queue times as Survivor.

    Wooah, 500%

That’s like lunging thru the entire shack

A few months ago, there was a Bug with some Nurse Add On which allowed her to get insane Speed. She could basically lunge half a Map (at least).

A Lunge through Shack would look small compared to this (even if it would be HUGE).

I prefer dedicated servers 100%. Playing against killer with McDonald's wifi sucked. Or the non-stop lag switch when a killer was losing. Sure the lag issues with dedicated servers suck but not nearly as bad as when there was no dedicated servers.

The thing is that Killers with bad internet are still a thing. But you wont see it anymore. Before you may have seen it in the Lobby that the Ping was spiking up, buit now you dont even see that. You also dont see where the Killer is located, like I had a VPNing Chinese player a few days in a row, the Ping was super-high. Before Dedicated Servers, I would have seen that.

So this issue is not really solved.

But I dont think that Dedicated Servers will ever go away. They are constantly working on them and will most likely iron out the issues with them over time, so going back to P2P will not really be a thing.

  • And I thought the Devs are not listening? D:

Need to test out the changes when they all are live. Personally I thought on the PTB that the Twins will not be a Killer you will see often, because while being creative, they did not seem to be fun to play for me. Maybe it will get better with those Changes.

At the very least the Core Problems are adressed.

  • You are complaining about something which happens really rarely. Outside of Double BP-Events I get a farming Killer like once every 100 games on average. And I doubt I am in the minority.

Maybe farming Killers are a little bit more frequent because of the Billy-Challenges (which are not hard, but not everyone plays Billy on a regular basis), but it is still a rare occasion.

And if you dont want to do the Gens and leave, DC if you like, but dont complain about the penalty.

I love this argument because that "1/3rd" has to be done continuously between the what... 20 killers there are? a number which grows every few months, and needs to not only get stuff to create builds in the first place, but THEN maintain them, all through random chance spending?

Survivors only need to get everyone to 40, then pool everything into one survivor. Hell, good survivors can even stockpile items from chests, or use a perk to stockpile items AND addons from chests. Killers have a separate progression for every single killer that you wish to play, so it requires getting everyone at least to 40 for unlockables, then however many webs to get a build that actually works for them, then make sure they don't run out of addons that are arguably mroe important than survivor items or addons. back and forth. forever. It's a disgusting amount of grind by comparison, but woe are survivors because green keys can be in webs.

If you spend the BPs you earn with that Killer ON that Killer and you are using BBQ, you get 1 Bloodweb done (and a little bit of the next Bloodweb), without the use of any BP-Offering. Considering that most Add Ons have either multiple versions or are pretty cheap, it is fair to say that Killers easily get the Add Ons they like, unless they want to do crazy things like using Iridescent Add Ons every game.

Like, 25k BPs is an average Killer game (and a good Survivor game most likely including an escape), with BBQ thats 50k BPs. Thats a Bloodweb. Like I said earlier, on my Trapper I have like 3-5 Bags per Bloodweb. This means I can go for 3 games at least with that Bloodweb, which allows me to get more Bloodwebs aka more Bags. So I will never run out of Bags.

Let alone that grinding Killes is WAY easier. 20 games with BBQ and you have 1 Million BPs. I have all Survivors maxed out and am doing that for Killer, and it is way faster.

And well, saying that you have more and more Killers... Nobody forces you to play every Killer.

  • @Zboard said:

idk, smells like more hook camping/tunnel is coming this weekend, and cant blame them...

Killers who rely on Bloodlust too much already do this.

  • Your chance to try to improve as Killer without gaining a free Speedboost for failing.

  • @CashelP14 said:

You do realise they could do the same on ptb anyway. They won't kill themselves to skew the results.

If anything it is more likely that players will skew the results by killing themselves on a PTB, where it does not really matter, since progress does not carry over to live.

  • You mean like Killer Mains who went to the PTB where Ruin got reworked with 4 strong Toolboxes (old Toolboxes even) to "prove" a point?

And well, as @jotaro has said, Killers can do the same by simply taking extra-long in Chases...

OR, and this will be the normal case, everyone (or at least most people) just plays like they usually do.

If it is placebo then it's incredibly convincing because I'm almost certain that it does move less with accuracy addons, particularly the yellow one. It genuinely does help me get blinds so either I'm incredibly special or they have to do something

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKhVtADbjlo&t=403s

The difference is really only minor. (Grips are the first Add Ons Tofu talks about)

  • Probably to bring it in line with Killer Add Ons, despite Killers having less stuff in the Bloodweb (1/3 of the Survivor Bloodweb), gaining more BPs in general (even tho it got better on Survivor side) and having easier access to bonus-BPs (BBQ-Stacks are way easier to get than WGLF-Stacks, if you dont want to throw the game).

But also, you apparently are supposed to run out of Add Ons at some point. Which is kinda odd, since I never run out of Bag Add Ons on my Trapper, if I get like 3-5 in each Bloodweb, as an example. (Basically, as Killer you cannot run out of Add Ons, except when you are using the best stuff every game)

I mean, it would be ok, if the Devs keep it that way, but then at least they should remove all the Junk from the Survivors Bloodweb. E.g. you dont need anything for Flashlights other than Batteries or Low-Amp Filaments. The rest can easily be trashed, nobody will miss it, since that stuff is (almost) useless.

But eh, it is what it is. The change was not really thought-through, but whatever.

  • Are you comparing a band-aid which is not used anymore for what it is supposed to be used for with one of the basic Core Mechanics of the game?

  • I think all of them are terrible and I will never use them.

I can get where they come from with the Sacrificial Ward, but they are too rare. They only really work for Killers if they suspect that Survivors might burn Ormond or Haddonfield - but even if you burn a Sacrificial Ward, you might end up on a bad map. If I want a decent Map, I rather burn MacMillan or Autohaven, even if the Chance might only be 50/50 to end up there.

For the Basement-Offerings, those are totally useless. There is no reason at all why a Survivor should need that information, e.g. if you know that it is in Shack, you will still not avoid Shack, since it is a strong Loop. IMO the Killer should get this information as Baseline (seeing the Basement for 20 seconds at the start of the game) and thats it. At least Killer have either Builds to work with the Basement or Challenges where you need to hook people there.

Hatch Offerings are only good with Keys, and those should not be supported.

So yeah, overall, I really dont like those new Offerings and I am not happy about more stuff in the Bloodweb I will never use.

  • As others have said, grinding the BPs to bring Billy to Level 40 will probably be faster than playing to get those Shards. At least, if you have a Killer with BBQ. Even if you never plan to play Hillbilly, getting his Perks for the Killers you would like to play is always an option.

When it comes to Iridescent Shards, you have to play as much as possible. Playing Killer should be better, since you secure to be in the match for the full duration of it, as Survivor you can die really early and will not get much Iridescent Shards.

Also make sure to play both roles on each day, since this provides you 300 Bonus Shards for the first game played as Survivor/Killer.

  • I dont get why you guys keep up bringing Breakable Walls with those Loops. Those Walls will remove Bloodlust anyway, you will not have Bloodlust after breaking that Wall. Unless you want to vault the Window the whole time and then you have a bigger problem than the removal of Bloodlust being tested.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1760535#Comment_1760535

Yeah, she probably is but i have yet to see it.

It's hard to believe nurse being the strongest killer when i can count the number of times i died to her on one hand.

More telling of the skill of the nurse players i played against then the actual strength of the nurse but the point still stands.

Are there even recent video's of nurse doing really well against good players? None of the content creaters i watch play her much anyway.

I would love to be proven wrong but from my own personal experience I've never encountered a god nurse and the last time i saw a good nurse on video was shortly after she was reworked.

Purelly in theory it's obvious she's really strong cause she ignores most of the survivors defences. I just don't believe she is the unstoppable force most people claim her to be.

I mean, the number of Nurse-players went down. One of the reasons is clearly her Bugs, it is laughable. BUT BHVR seems to be working on them and it is not like you get a Bug in every Nurse-game.

But I am also pretty sure that many Nurse-players cannot compensate their lack of Skill by adding more Blinks or Range. Like, there was one Nurse-player I went against quite frequently and he was always either using 3 Blinks with Range or Omegablink. Basically, whenever a Black Ward or a Azarovs Offering were used, it was THIS Nurse-player. Had him like 2 times each day, most of the time.

But since the Add Ons got reworked, I have never seen him again. Neither as Nurse nor anything. Could be possible because he quitted (maybe he wasnt that good) or could be because of Dedicated Servers (since those are active I have not seen quite a bunch of people I used to see quite often).

So most of the Nurses you see are not good. But I also dont think that many will learn her, because, as you said before, it is not really worth it, when you also can just play Spirit. Which is basically "Use Stridor and you are fine".

  • Crosshairs dont do that much on Huntress, they are good if the target is standing still, but to hit good Hatchets, you might not use a Crosshair.

Timer...Eh, fine I guess? I dont care that much tbh. I dislike stuff like Filters, IMO the game should be played as it comes, even if that means that it will be dark (it is somewhat located in the horror-genre, after all).

But personally, I would not use Crosshairs. They might be ok when new to the Killer, but ideally you want to learn how to play without them. So basically the same with some Add Ons (e.g. Wind-Up on Hatchets). You might want to learn to play without them, otherwise you might become addicted.

  • @SnakeSound222 said:

Holy crap... this is real. They bring back infinites with poor breakable wall placement and then do this? Just another example of the balance team not understanding their own game. This test should have never been considered, especially with how the game is today.

Breakable Walls dont really count as an argument, since you would lose Bloodlust anyway when breaking the Wall.

because not enough people go to the ptb anymore. they can't even have actual matchmaking on the ptb because of this. this is actually the best way to test this. and find out what needs to be changed. If more people would go to the ptb then they'd test it there, this way they get way more data and a much bigger chance of seeing where changes are really needed... I would HOPE though they compensate those that play killer in some way because bloodlust is still needed with things as it is.

Exactly, you get way more data by testing it on the Live Server.

Personally, I would not mind to give a small BP-Bonus during this weekend. Not Double, maybe not even 1,5 but maybe like 1,25 or something like that. Just to encourage even more players to play while they test it.

  • @Sonzaishinai said:

I personally think nurse is insanly overrated. I feel people are still thinking about old 5 blink nurse when they talk about her.

She's strong ofcourse but i feel people put her on the top with little to no thought. People only think about god nurses that end matches in 5 minutes.

And the only god nurses i've ever seen are the people who play this game for a living who can also 4k with perkless addonless trapper with little effort. And it's not recently too

A spirit in my oppinion can do most things nurse can do with half the effort and with not nearly as manny bugs.

    Twisted on that one.

If you want to put in the effort and learn Nurse, you can basically become unstoppable. If you become good with her, you will lose a pretty low amount of games.

But I would agree that it is not needed anymore. Lets say you win 99 out of 100 games with Nurse, you would probably win 90-95 games with Spirit, if you become good with her, while not putting as much effort in learning Spirit. Heck you can even go for Freddy and win like 85-90 games, without much effort at all.

But if you want to play the best a Killer can play, you want to learn Nurse. But now there are more options available.

But I wont say that she is overrated, she is without a doubt the strongest Killer.

  • This was not my question. Because I am pretty sure that you wont get much data if you test it on a PTB.

  • Badham is actually one of the Maps where the Bloodlust-Test will totally make sense. Most Pallets are unsafe and playable by the Killer, but become too weak once Bloodlust kicks in.

  • Would you download the PTB just to test this change?

  • Yeah, would agree. Just because that Freddy makes people Oblivious or that Pig is crouched/Wraith is cloaked/Ghostface is in Night Shroud, does not mean that they are not camping.

  • @Bard said:

So here's the cycle so far:

    1. Game releases. Lots of overpowered loops exist.
    2. Bloodlust is added to counteract the god loops.
    3. God loops are toned down. Bloodlustis toned down.
    4. Map reworks bring some god loops back, while some just never went away to begin with.
    5. Bloodlust removed.

    ...great.

    1. "Map reworks bring some god loops back, while some just never went away to begin with."

This is a flawed argument. Because you would lose Bloodlust anyway when breaking a Breakable Wall. I doubt that you dont break the wall, but vault the window and bloodlust a god loop.

  • @Yung_Slug said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1760378#Comment_1760378

Would be ideal if everyone played normally, but that just isn't gonna happen.

Sure, there will be people who try stuff. Same like Killer Mains who went on the PTB where Ruin got nerfed with insane Toolboxes (old Toolboxes at this point, like 4 Commodius with BNPs) just to "prove a point". But the very least that can be done is that as many people as possible play normally.

  • So, first of all, as others have said, Survivors are the strongest during the early game. So a Perk which buffs them at this point would not be good. Basically, the Survivors are the strongest at the beginning, but the meter shifts to the Killer, the more ressources (aka Pallets) are wasted and how much he can apply pressure (aka forcing Survivors into altruistic actions).

Second, IMO the only really useful Perks are those who either give second chances or help with the Objectives (I would include stuff like Unhooking and healing in that). So a Perk which would increase the speed to repair Generators, even if it would only be at the start of the game, would most likely be a Perk which would be staple in many builds.

Third, one of the main reasons why Corrupt Intervention is good, is because Survivors cannot immediatly hop on a Gen, but need to spend a few seconds to find a Gen which can be worked on. If you negate that (partially at least) by buffing their Speed, you would weaken a Perk which is totally fine (Corrupt Intervention).

  • @Yung_Slug said:

Since bloodlust is getting disabled temporarily, many players will likely play differently for the duration. Survivors will use more "5-gen looping builds" and killer players will likely use more chase-oriented killers like nurse or blight. I hope BHVR takes this into account when looking over the stats. I would like to believe they know what they're doing, but they've challenged my faith before.

Thats why you should play normal. Like, lets get those extreme Scenarios:

Every Killer plays Nurse during that weekend. The Devs see that Killers win a lot even without Bloodlust, so it gets removed. And now we have a bunch of M1-Killers who might suffer (I dont think so to be honest, I play mostly M1-Killers and I rarely need to get to BL1).

    Or, the other scenario:

Survivors all run the best Toolboxes, play Builds which let them do Gens as fast as possible and on top, only skilled 4 man SWFs play. Killers will lose a lot of games, so BHVR might think that Bloodlust needs to stay and maybe buff it.

Sure, unrealistic, but it should show that the way how players treat this test might be important. So I will just play the usual Killers and the same Survivor Build as always.

  • If you put it on the Live Servers, you will get more people to play. Like, I wont play a PTB with the Bloodlust Change, I dont think it is interesting enough to download the PTB and play it for a few days. Even with new Chapters I only play 1 evening on the PTB.

And I guess this goes for quite a bunch of players.

  • @batax90 said:

Yeah i cant wait to hold W and jump a window once in a while and have an easy game.

Im not playing killer for sur this week end not only that but they still did not put freddy back on the ps5

Freddy will return with the next Chapter. There is no official date yet.

And well, would be better to play Killer, to actually see the impact. I can say that you dont need Bloodlust most of the time.

  • Its nice that they are finally put some thought if Bloodlust is still needed. At least on newer Maps, Bloodlust really ruins it. With unsafe Pallets there is no need for Bloodlust, but it makes chases around them pretty obnoxious, since the Killer does not need to outplay the Survivor, they just have to wait.

The ideal scenario would be that the Survivor can trick the Killer by faking a vault which allows the Survivor to get to the next unsafe Pallet. But with Bloodlust, this is not really a thing.

  • @Crypticghoul said:

I would definitely like to see a change to it as it has highlighted just how ridiculous Ruin is when it is up nearly all game. It feels like most killers are just going full auto pilot while Ruin/Undying/Tinkerer plays the game for them. And then if you have the audacity to try and cleanse a high mobility killer's totems, they'll be right on you due to the aura reading.

The thing is, the idea of Ruin is really good in general. Because it would only benefit good Killers, since they can apply pressure to have a meaningful result while Ruin is up.

But combined with Undying and Tinkerer, it can be problematic, because you dont need to be good anymore to have a benefit from Ruin. Tinkerer is a big "go there" sign and with the improving Totem Spots, it can take a while to cleanse both Hexes.

I guess there will be a change to Undying in the future. They wont change Ruin or Tinkerer, so I guess it will be Undying. Something like Otzs Idea that if Undying dies that a transferred Ruin will die as well or at the very least, they might remove the Aura Read.

  • @FrostySeal said:

    ....what?

Someone who is a god at the game but only loses against SWFs. This is the only reason he loses ever, it cannot be him, its all SWFs.

So yeah... dont think to much about it, OP does only open Threads like this.

  • @indieeden7 said:

I honestly don't think that Undying was designed with the fact that newer maps have some totems that are close to impossible to find in mind. The least they could do is tell a survivor that Undying is active when cleansing/standing within the aura reading range of a totem.

Have to agree on that one. Ruin/Undying with stuff like Autohaven or Asylum in mind is totally different from Ruin/Undying on Hawkins or Saloon. Especially the Saloon got some really dirty Totem Spots in the Midchapter. So it might indeed become close to impossible to cleanse Ruin on some Maps.

  • @Demogordon_Ramsay said:

Me who just saw a Killer DC when both totems got deleted less than 30 seconds into the match:

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/QE5BZLLC8FP4/image.png

Lucky you. I got facecamped by a Freddy yesterday evening, when his two Totems got cleansed (took even longer than 30 seconds, no Gen was done, I was his third Hook...).

I would have preferred a Killer who DCed. :I

  • Ok, seems like you got unlucky then. Survivors dont know in the Loading Screen that you are playing Deathslinger, so highly unlikely that they DC because of that. And when you dont burn a Mori, those are most likely actual crashes which happen. So yeah, unlucky, but nothing intentional.

    @GoodBoyKaru said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1759049#Comment_1759049

Yeah that seems like the thing me and @Aven_Fallen@Aven_Fallen described, where it takes the game a second to realise oh ######### someone dced and then it cancels in a bit.

Edit: the forums for mobile are amazing and tagging is bugged sorry Aven for the double at lmao

Haha, dont worry :D The second notification wasnt even active.

  • If the game ends, this means that someone DCed/crashed in the Loading Screen and the game takes longer to realize that. So even if you load in, it might be possible that one person did not load in and the game will be cancelled, even tho the other players are already playing.

If a person DCs while the match is going (and all 5 players loaded in), the game will not be cancelled.

    Which Daily is it? Mori-Daily?

  • Yes, would be nice. But if I look at my Main, there is so much stuff... And I would guess that is the case for other players as well, so IF BHVR ever introduces something like that, we will probably get a really low amount of BPs, because otherwise, players can get a bunch of BPs at once.

Like, on my Main, I have those things I would most likely never use:

Keys (I have over 200), Toolboxes (combined over 600), Flashlight Add Ons (basically everything except for Batteries and Low Amp Filament) ~1500 total, Key Add Ons ~1300, Map Offerings ~500 (80 Haddonfield :>), Mist Offerings ~850, Luck Offerings 700...

Just imagine 500 BPs for each of those Items which are all worth at least 3k BPs. I would get 3 Mio BPs instantly. And this does not include Toolbox Add Ons or bad Map/Medkit Add Ons...

So the amount of BPs gained for trashing away Stuff would need to be laughable low. But I would really wish to have something like that, because especially the Survivor Bloodweb is so full of Junk.

These "challenges" were the devs answer to not having to do blood hunt events all the time. As such the challenges should be a little bit more forgiving considering that the game is nothing but a grind fest.

Well, you describe the major thing that the DBD community wants - rewards without effort.

  • @RoboMojo said:

I haven’t actually seen the new tome level yet. Is this a mandatory challenge? I.e. one that has to be completed. Or is it optional? I mean either way I agree, it’s insanely stupid. I’m not nearly good enough at billy to get 7 chainsaw hits in a single match, maybe 4-5 but not 7.

    20201118183223_1.jpg

100% optional, you have another Killer-route right above it (and the Survivor-route as well).

  • Because those are CHALLENGES. They should take some effort.

If someone does not want to do it on a regular way, farming is always an option. In the end, you dont need to do this challenge, it is completely possible to do the Tome Level without having to do this Challenge.

Really, you can measure the DBD-Forum in waves:

    Daily Complaints about DS/NOED/Survivors/Killers

New Tome Level-->Challenge XY is too hard!

    Daily Complaints about DS/NOED/Survivors/KIllers

New Chapter-->New Killer is too weak/too strong

New Set-Cosmetic is released-->BHVR; stop doing Sets!

    Daily Complaints about DS/NOED/Survivors/Killers

New Tome Level-->Challenge XY is too hard!

    Daily Complaints about DS/NOED/Survivors/Killers

MIdchapter and new Rift-->Rift is too grindy and why did they nerf Perk X? The Devs are _____-sided!

Like, whenever new content is added, people complain and make a big drama out of nothing. In the end, if you cannot do that Challenge, those are 50k BPs and 5 Rift Fragments you miss out.

  • @TAG said:

    Slugging like that isn't bannable.

Forcibly and repeatedly putting someone in a loop of wiggling out from the corner and downing I'm not sure about.

I think this is called "forced farming" and a bannable offense. Not only takes it longer for the Survivor (who does not get to play the game) to finish it, since they get picked up all the time which drastically prolongs the Bleedout-process, but it also just feeds points to the Killer.

So I think it is reportable to report someone who is going to the Corner of a Map, dropping a Survivor repeatedly and downs them again.

  • Spies from the Shadows is more of a Beginner-Perk IMO. Basically, if you are new to the game you wont have many Perks, and Spies is the easiest to use Detection Perk.

If you get more experienced, you pay attention to Crows on your own. Also it gets outclassed by Whispers (which is the best Tracking Perk in the game), so once you get used to Whispers, you wont use Spies from the Shadows ever again.

  • "missing no longer drains the power full or ends feral frenzy"

It is a good thing that missing does this. There was nothing more frustrating than facing a Legion who just spams his Hit 3 times, missing two times and gets the third hit, because there was no punishment to Missing at all.

"shorter fatigue OR buff the addons that reduce it"

Shorter fatique as Base and nerf the Add Ons to compensate for it (so that you cannot have like 2 second fatique with Cold Dirt)

Personally, Legion needs a full Rework to have a chance of becoming a decent Killer. Vaulting Pallets and Windows needs to go for that.

  • @lagosta said:

Scott Jund suggested allowing survivors to build breakable walls. I like the idea, but I would like even more if there was a way for survivors being able to break them too.

This is honestly not a good idea.

First of, it will take longer for Survivors to build a Wall than it would take for Killers to destroy them. This is logical. But, why should someone then even spend time to build a wall? Lets say, it takes 20 seconds to Build a wall. Why should I spend this 20 seconds to build a Wall if the Killer will break it in 2 seconds again? I might not even get anything from it, if another Survivor loops that Structure later or the Killer just breaks the Wall again while patrolling Gens.

E.g. the Wall upstairs on the Ironworks-Building is pretty strong. But why should I spend all that time, walking upstairs, Building the Wall, just so that this Window can be used once?

I could have spent all that time on a Gen and would be way more helpful for the team.

Let alone that it would be another M1-action without any Killer/Survivor-interaction.

Enduring was butchered because of survivors!

    1. Survivor were complaining that they weren't getting enough breathing space after DS because enduring reduced stun time

    2. Enduring countered Head-On

Don't mean to start a us vs them war, but this is the exact reason why Enduring was nerfed

Not really. Let alone that Enduring affected DS in a way that it was absolutely laughable to use, the Devs also changed it so that they can create Perks with Stuns without having to worry about Enduring. (Same reason why they nerfed Balanced Landing, but I can also say that "BL was butchered because of Killers!"...)

Like, Power Struggle would not have been possible with old Enduring, since it would affect the Stun of the Survivor getting free, which means that if the Survivor and Killer are on the same side of the Pallet, the Survivor would be down right again.

So either Power Struggle would have never existed OR it would have gotten some extra seconds of Stun on the Killer to compensate for a potential Enduring, which would make the Stun even longer for Killers who dont use it.

Enduring is still a really useful Perk, even tho Killers tend to put as much Slowdown as possible, since you dont have to play that well if you stack Slowdown as much as possible.

That's assuming the RNG benefited your blood web and you got the exact perks you were looking for without having to go all the way through level 50 again.

I mean, when I prestige, I just go to Level 50 and use the good BP-Offerings as Survivor. As Killer, if I have BBQ, I use the 100% BP-Offerings, if I dont have BBQ, I just prestige (because then I can play a Killer I have maxed out with BBQ, so I will do better anyway and get the same amount of BPs).

So I dont really care what I get until I am P3.
