Yeah I cant stand Trickster either, though Twins is arguably worse for me as every match is played in the most horribly unfun way (slug, camp)

Very true. I personally find Victor more fun to go against than trickster (unless its a console trickster).

    @Chocolate_Cosmos said:

Which ones you don't like the most and why?

Nemesis, Trickster, Trapper. Nemesis is boring to play against he is so oppressive in chase and the zombies are running people of gens or blocking vaults all game. When I use him my zombies are watching those tvs that are apparently on every rock and tree.

  • They really need to do something about condemned. Right now it might as well not exist. Her teleport is best thing she offers but you come out the tv and the boost is wasted trying to figure out where you are or facing. Considering she has nothing to really help in chase she needs a slowdown mechanic which is there just needs buffed to relevance.

  • Fog and Coldwind. Wouldnt mind old Freddy. Current Freddy is less fun than Artist.

  • Wouldnt mind seeing his busted add ons changed so they can give him more stalk. Would also like to be able to bounce back to tier 1 if I want.

  • With the content every 3 months it wont die. They fix the grind and they can grow even more. Cant imagine many new players stick around these days.

  • @Ruma said:

    ,,OMMFFG IMMA GONNA MAIN HIM/HER!!"

when you see gameplay of the new killer?

I mostly end up playing him/her a few times and then i am back to nurse and myers..

Exactly what I did with Artist. I loved her, planned on maining her. Then I noticed survivors were disappearing from loops anytime I touched my power button. She boring asf to play and vs. Sadako I do like still and dont think thats going to change.

  • @TheArbiter said:

I personally think Clown is decent, but maybe I just face potatoes all day

I dont play potatoes all day and I still would pick clown over a few killers. Sure current MM can throw babies your way no matter how good you are but majority of my opponents are pretty decent.

I personally think its Legion hands down. Trapper has snowball potential. Could have 1 hook with 1 gen left then kill everyone in seconds. Same with myers but he is a bit outdated.

  • I enjoy laughing. Many thanks.

So am I. Most people on this forum probably don't like me. I usually just say whatever I'm thinking, and I can come off as rude at times. No one would play with me, lol. Actually, I did have some friends that played but they all quit.

That should be why people like you. Always be you and say whats on your mind. That is what the forums are supposed to be but instead its primarily an echo chamber.

I rarely ever agree with you but your opinions matter....I like you. The killer in me dont though but respects nonetheless.

    Intro

New to the forums--hello everyone! Sort of new to the game as well, approaching 1k hour mark as a 90:10 killer:survivor player. I play on PC. English isn't the best so apologies from here on out.

I've played all the killers except spirit, and ultimately landed on Hillbilly as my go-to killer. I haven't indulged in much content posted online. However, after looking at the game's website and sifting through some content (old & new) I feel this is the best place to discuss the game as it seems there are quite a few highly educated members--including the game's developers, that contribute information regarding this awesome & puzzling game. I feel this is the best place to go to for questions and answers as a result. I also have most perks unlocked for killers.

    Question

I'm just getting 0k-1k more often lately. I'm used to being shocked at a 2k as it wasn't good enough, but I'll gladly take that now . To be truthful, I love playing against good survivors. It's very engaging and difficult which I prefer. It makes for very busy game play. I can tell the difference between good and bad survivors so I don't really count the games anymore if they're easy.

I'm curious what strategies some of you use as killers against competitive teams that play at a high level. I understand how maps affect strategies depending on the killer's power as well. I'm also aware that the survivor's plans can change my approach, like if they're aggressive, safe, & efficient. How do you all handle yourselves? What is your favorite killer, build, and strategy?

    For me:

Hillbilly: Chainsaw hits are very satisfying,. Indoor maps are pretty tough for me if the survivors are decent in their understanding of the layout. I'm also now getting survivors who bring map offerings frequently. Maps are usually: "The Game", "Mount Ormond Resort", "Bedlam Pre-Schools", & "Raccoon City Police Department" which increases the difficulty I feel. "Lery's Mental Institute" can be tough but no one really brings offerings for it so that's nice.

Perks: I currently use: Infectious Fright, Barbecue and Chille/Enduring, Tinkerer, & Shadowborn. I'm debating Tinkerer recently because the survivors will already be moving away from generators. It does work sometimes in the middle of a chase however as I am undetectable so they make small mistakes. Barbecue is for bloodpoints mainly.

Addons: I like Tuned Carburetor and Mother's Helpers because the reduced charge time is nice. The other addons I use are the overheating ones. I haven't messed with the others too much.

Strategy: I enjoy roaming the map and finding survivors caught out. I like to start and finish chases. Especially with my power (chainsaw in my case) if possible to help shorten the chase & ignore "Dead Hard". However if I notice they run to areas that I sense are very safe like buildings, I'll break it off for another chase because it might take too much time. Sometimes if a chase has gone on for too longer I will stop as well since the generators do not take long to finish.

    Side Note

I typically get a lot of hooks regardless of 0k-1k. It's just that I'm not able to maintain pressure on generator completion or the hooks don't mean much. I don't typically camp, although I will proxy camp if I sense survivors around. I don't focus a survivor in particular either--unless I just keep running into them. I've seen on here that a killer like Hillbilly is lower tier. Maybe this has something to do with it.

The potential of the perk "Dead Hard" has become very pronounced too. I'm starting to understand the frustration of it. As your long chase comes to a close it gets longer. Another perk that's apparent, "Circle of Healing", is noticeable in its application & may have something to do with the trouble I'm experiencing. Both of these perks appear to be a big deal for others from what I've noticed here recently.

Maybe my favorite killer is simply not viable for the game at this point idk but any input will be interesting to hear.

    Thank you for reading

Really nice post. Well done. Unfortunately Billy is my least played killer so I cant offer much in his regard. You did come to the right place though as there are SOME highly intelligent members on here.

As for me IMO against efficient teams I rely on keeping pressure on the team by getting fast downs. For instance you have one on hook and have another downed before/as they are rescuing the first down. This is keeping one on hook, one rescuing, and one in chase minimum. The killer chosen should be the ones you best get downs with quickly.

Clown, Nemesis, Freddy, Huntress are some of my main killers for this. This would be different for everyone I would imagine.

  • @Okonar_ said:

3 matches in a row, first survivor gets chased, lasts 20 seconds and rage quits on first down. The game is not over cause you got hooked once, this destroys so many matches in solo queue ITS INSANE. Just play the match through, holy moly man...

I will sign your petition. Frustrating for sure.

  • @Majin151 said:

Like for survivors it sucks and whenever I get one as killer I just act friendly and have them farm on me because ######### the person who rage quit

My first game tonight Nancy got downed in 10 secs and DC. Then another DC because Nancy did (or maybe they were 2 man idk) leaving me and Jill at 5 gens. When I got downed she just threw hatchets at me because I hit her with Head on. Not to be a bully but I usually equip Head on for stun challenges.

Seems weird most of time I head on the killer they seem to get tilted. Of all the perks I could bring Head on gets me camped, tunneled, and hit on hook the most.

Its not weird....anytime I am blasted by Head on that person must die first. Its a trigger i guess.

Dang, seems you never made a point in the first place. The only thing you did was make a rude response that establishes nothing. It's most likely just gonna be taken as toxic survivor speak to avoid an issue.

Maybe if you'd said something along the lines of "both sides have this issue" or something, you'd have made a point. Having it rough lately? You seem on edge.

That is what I said....3 times. Also since apparently this needs said. A avatar/gamer pic does not mean they only play killer or only play survivor. Some of us play both sides and just like a character. I have over 2000 hrs just on killer before you hang some survivor entitlement on me while showing your killer entitlement in the process.

This thread is just perk shaming one side meanwhile the other side does the same #########...look 4th time I have said that this thread. Get a grip dude.

Fyi my pic was Freddy my first year or so on here. Then was Pig for quite some time. Now its Nancy because she is ######### awesome. Simple.

I would 100% play against 4 sprint bursts than 4 DHs because:

    4 SBs on good survivors:

    • Survivor is found and holds forwards with sprint burst to a safe location. I catch them up eventually, they get hit and take the speed boost to hold forward to another loop. I catch up again and, eventually, they get downed again. Multiply that 4 times and that was 8 times where I had to deal with W holding and safe loops to one hook everyone. Consider I got good map RNG and that the chases were very good for me, where each one of those W/loop interactions lasts 30-40 seconds, and then you have 4-5 and a half minutes for 4 hooks.

    4 DHs on good survivors:

    • Survivor hears my TR, looks around, and when they see me coming they pre-leave to a safe location. I catch them up eventually, they get hit and take the speed boost to another loop. I catch up again and, eventually, when they are about to get downed they DH to a strong pallet or window. That gives them the chance to move forward again to a third loop where they will eventually get downed again. Multiply that 4 times and that was 12 times where I had to deal with W holding and safe loops to one hook everyone. Consider I got good map RNG and that the chases were very good for me, where each one of those W/loop interactions lasts 30-40 seconds and then you have 6-8 minutes for 4 hooks. Not only will the game be over by then, but the game also becomes really boring because you know that even if you do an amazing outplay, they will be able to dodge it away with dead hard.

In the meantime, corrupt bought me 2 minutes on three gens and each pain res regressed 12 seconds off a gen with a solo survivor. That's also considering that I got amazing pain res rng and that all survivors were hooked on scourge hooks. On top of that, also consider other perks and items that will help you extend chases and speed up gens like iron will, prove thyself, medkits and toolboxes. If the survivors are focused on gens, not greeding their health states, and using their perks properly the game will be over soon.

Now, don't get me wrong, there are very annoying things on the killer side as well, like running 4 strong slow downs, noed, overpowered add-ons and so on. But, honestly, as boring as both sides can make be, going against corrupt/pain res (without dms in the combo) is much less annoying than going against 4 DHs, and going against four good SB users makes the game feel extremely more fair than going against 4 good DH players.

Wow. That's a lot to process.

    I disagree.

"Play against 4 SB and I bet you will want DH back."

Most people enjoy playing against weaker builds as they win more - DH is undeniably more powerful than any other Exhaustion perk, SB included.

"Play against 4 SB and I bet you will want DH back" is a pretty bold assumption, but perhaps you have a better understanding of DH's astronomical pick rate and utility than I do.

I really have a hard time understanding why people think thousands upon thousands of survivors are picking a 'weaker' perk.

SB you have to deal with using it then not having it when needed (like sprinting to a gen) or you walk around which waste time. Dh is there with a click but 4 people with SB is way more annoying as others have said. Not sure why you targeted mine. Have you had the honor of going against 4 SB? It more rare then DH sure but just as annoying if not more and I personally would rather deal with DH. Weaker builds made me chuckle....SB is not weak.

Think about it like this. SB takes a bit more brain power than DH (Reason I think DH is used more). However the difference in the two are SB can always get you to a safer place compared to DH which if you are in a dead zone can't help you. Sure you could dodge a hit but in a dead zone you will still go down few secs later. Now put a SB user in that same dead zone and the chase will no doubt be longer.

Yea. Condemned should be more of a threat for sure. They should of made using tapes more mandatory. Like pinheads box. Every 1 minute. Or you get so much condemned or something. Even if it never came in to play. The threat of it should be there.

Exactly. Just making it a 2nd objective is enough for me but right now it's near pointless.

Corrupt and pain resonance are fair though, as corrupt runs out after 2 mins and you actually have to hook a survivor on a special hook for pain resonance, dead hard is just a free health state

Jesus I swear the point just jumps right up an over people. I don't like DH myself and yes you do see it every game but its damn near every game I see Corrupt and/or SHPR as well. It's not about what the perks do it's a survivor perk vs a killer perk why would they be identical?

Both sides run same #########. Play against 4 SB and I bet you will want DH back.

His mobility is a LOT slower and not nearly as good. His anti loop is better. But that's about it.

Anyways. That's your opinion on her. And I have mine. I 4kd every match with her so far and found her very powerful. Low A-Tier. I'm certainly not comparing her to the top 3

Wow careful now. I said A tier like 5 days ago and got blasted for it. Still agree shes in A tier but would like to see condemned useful.

So if I'm right the new killer meta right now is dead man's switch and pain resonance. I personally don't run it nor ruindying cause I just don't typically follow the meta, but the reason I'm asking is because the last meta wasn't received very well (ruin/undying) so I'm curious as to how you feel about these new perks?

They both are rough for solo survivors like myself. Cant really tell the team "Hey let go of gen for few secs until he hooks". Ruin, undying, tink I have mixed feelings about. On one hand solos dont have the time to cleanse a bunch of bones and the other hand we can spawn on top of them deleting perks 14 secs into the gm.

Cant delete DMS or PR. Also depends on killer being used.

Killers run it because they feel they need it. Survivors run DH because they feel they need it. My responses are not because I agree or disagree its because both sides are repetitive. Simple as that.

    Yes. Yes I am.

They both extend the game. They both force other side to adapt. Infinite? I love when this is said....like survivors can push DH all trial whenever they want. If the same survivor hots DH a infinite # of times on you no offense you doing something wrong.

  • Well I finally seen one last night and I did not have fun. This was not because of the killer though it was because my teammates had no idea what to do. Feng got fully condemned and mori'd at 3 gens remaining which just plain should not happen. One just plain through the game taking useless hits while killer was carrying. Just blah

  • @DyingWish92 said:

Anyone who says this about DH has either one never played killer, or is a dope who doesn't understand how dead hard is used for distance to pallets and windows. Come up with a different defense because bait it out is some dumb rank 15 survivor defense for the perk. Play some killer, raise your mmr and let's watch you "bait it out" against sweat squads all running it and using it for distance.

Killers complain about Dead Hard that gets survivors to a safe spot not a Dead Hard used in a dead zone, any smart killer knows to wait that out when it's used out in the open. People saying just Bait it out makes my brain melt. Play both sides and stop being an ignorant moron please.

IKR. If you can bait it out the survivor screwed up somehow or was caught in a dead zone. Majority of time it's used to make a pallet/vault and it can be devastating for the killer. Really don't like perks that fix mistakes....mistakes that are important for other side. Same vibe I get with NOED but at least with Noed there is real counterplay (Cleanse bones, cleanse Noed, Killer had 3 perks all game) DH is free IMO.

I have been trying to stay away from it on survivor to see if it lowers my escape rate. It hasn't so far and I replaced it with Overcome. A perk I am really starting to like. Half the time the killer breaks chase when they see me fly halfway across the map or they continue the chase which leads to more time on gens for the team. Overcome does not change my gameplay much unlike DH which I always know I have it allowing me to greed and milk chases. I would like to see DH be one or the other (Distance or dodge) not both.

  • @StarLost said:

...If you don't want me to chase you?

Had a game earlier that got under my skin a bit.

A Jake with what looks like a legacy skin sent me to Eyrie, with me as Pig. Oh joy.

Spammed his flashlight macro as soon as he saw me, very good player but got cocky, was able to mindgame him at the gym and get a down.

He gets his hat off and sure enough, bbbrrrrrr strobey teabag teabag when I find him and a Yui at the central gen. I chase him, lose him, locate him again, chase him all the way around those silly main structure vaults, eventually get him with an Ambust, down him and hook him. Failed attempt at a window fake.

A few minutes later I hook the Yui. He's back. Unhooks her in my face then brrrrrr. Teabagging away. Drops a pallet and teabags again. So I chase him down, get him with the same dumb Otzdarva mindgame at the gym. He dies, team gets a 2o at the end of the day with the Claudette and the Kate on their death hooks.

    Postgame (edited for profanity):

    Jake: 'nice tunnel scrublord'.

    Me: 'Uh, what tunnel?'

Jake: ' dont play stupid you spent half the game up my butt'.

Me: 'You were spamming your flashlight and teabagging me. I thought you wanted me to chase you?'

Jake: 'grow up and take a joke like man next time'.

    Jake: 'noob'.

Jake: 'people like you make this game not fun to play'.

I log off for the evening, my faith in humanity a little bit worse for the wear.

Survivors: Don't be this Jake. If you seek to get my attention, don't complain when you succeed. Or better yet, manner up.

I wouldn't take this personal dude. Yes there are some just doing it to be a douche (The ones doing it safely at exit gates) but majority of time it's to try to help the team. Like I would do to try an get you to chase me instead of tunneling down my weak teammates or if I just have not been hooked yet to keep pressure off my team. In the end it's a flashlight in a party game after all. Technically it won't do much unlike tunneling and camping which ruins the entire game for one survivor.

  • Wouldn't know still have yet to se one. If you are referring to me...You deserved it I'm sure.

i think some tv placements should not be put in the hands of rng, sometimes they are all stacked in one side of the map or facing walls.

Yeah it can be rough sometimes. teleport to pressure a gen only to find out the gens is in another room (Midwich game last night lol). The speed boost gets wasted more often than not just trying to figure out where you at.

  • This could help her too....Along with the rest of the roster.

  • @egg_ said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2850788#Comment_2850788

I actually like the idea. It would be a built in tracking, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. We could call Artists birds built in tracking too as you can easily find out which gens are being worked on, and they force the survivors to make a choice and either tank a hit or leave the gen

Sadako knowing there's no one around (in just like 16meters range?) doesn't seem over the top imho and survivors have the choice of turning of the tv by themselves too if they want to

What does Artist have to do with Sadako? The bio of Artist says "reconnaissance killer" which is a fancy word for tracking so makes sense. Giving Sadako a mini whispers does not help her IMO like something else would.

    @PatchNoir said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2850788#Comment_2850788

maybe you are right, but you can do that already if the survivors has no condemnation stack and you teleport. And you are right once again, the manifestation thing is not polished enough, like you cant charge demanifest a little and then hit (for mindgames) or charge and then jump window. Even when you manifest it takes some seconds to be able to hit. It would not be a major buff but would be better, PH can fake his power easily and he is good at chases, she cant .-.

Sadako is not weak....She also is not Sprit, Artist, Nurse, etc level which is fine. The issue I see with her is to much help in multiple areas could push her into the oppressive level. I just think the safe bets are touching up the condemnation not making mori's happen more just increasing the level of slowdown, or something very small to help with chase. I am fine with both honestly.

  • @PatchNoir said:

Sadako gets destroyed if you dont get a chase early, so the plus gen hurts her more than other killers. Everytime that happened i just accepted i lost the game. ( it happens the most in coldwind, sadako is short asf the corn blindness hurts).

*Plus gen (1+) is when the killer lose a gen on the start of the trial just walking across the map, or because survivors were hiding and you lose a gen searching.

Suggested changes: Tvs that you teleport and doesnt stack condemnation to survivors shouldnt turn off.

CoH: Circle of Healing is a game changer because it can deny a playstyle fully, like Hag hit and run, Wraith (at least his power works in chase), Legion, Sadako and many more. Self Healing infinite times remove the pressure that the survivors would take 100% when all of them are alive, making killers commit to chases that ends in all gens done.

Circle of Healing suggested change: CoH cannot be relit in the same totem as before.

This would make 3 major things happen in the trial.

1- Make the survivors learn other totem spawns, to light the boon and take more time searching for it.

2-Reduce the quantity of boons in a match from infinite to 5 per survivor.

3-Hit killers would be viable once more, and other healing perks usefull.

She could use some small touches here or there but the Tv's not turning off if no survivors were near is now a built in tracking unit and COULD make her over the top. Honestly I think the safest change that I hope would put her to A-tier (On everyone's list) would be a SMALL speed boost when manifesting. Small enough so they don't mess with her movement speed while manifesting/demanifesting but significant enough help a bit on strong tiles (Which is the biggest complaint about her the chase).

  • @cordonrouge said:

seriously. why should i get stressed being looped for hours and applying non existant pressure because of healing when i can just sit on a hook and then grab another survivor to slug. it's literally so easy and it's a guaranteed 2k at the very least, if not more.

    1. Camping is boring, lame, and used used as an excuse for the current meta.
    2. You just need to get better at killer. Before you say "I'm good blah blah blah" I already know you are not because no true bred killer would complain about the survivors looping. Hold W, Pre-drop, spread, rush....is what majority have issues with and is what I personally see the most so I would be happy as Christmas Day is they were looping. Sorry dude I'm hitting the Git Gud button on you.

It works just like pop and oppression. The gen you kick loses 25% (pop) and up to 3 others get the skill check/regress. If you are referring to 3 gens get call of brine or pop....hell no that would be WAY to strong. Oppressions 80 second cooldown is a turn off. I only ever use it with Freddy because of the synergy with his dress add-ons which that synergy exists because it's not linked to gens but is based of failed skill checks.

  • I just enjoy the more difficult aspects of the game is all. This is why I don't play much Nurse, Blight, Spirit, or SWF as IMO that is casual mode DBD. If you are out here losing a lot playing any of those lets just say yikes.

Solo survivor, Pig, Clown, trapper, Ghostface, Mike, Sadako (not convinced she weak yet), Freddy, etc are my most played by far. I win much more than not in all these roles.....Yes solo survivor included.

I will say I think for once I'm agreeing with you. Or, at least, with part of the post.

Sadako absolutely is not easy to win with. COH is the bane of my existence and if you can't find it the game is essentially over before it's even begun. Add-ons no but she is definitely perk dependent and is no where near the best killer in the game. I think she's a lot better than people make her out to be, but she's absolutely not the new Nurse or whatever.

Also tbh those perks are decent by themselves, they only really become good when paired with something else usually (ie Call Of Brine + PGTW, DMS + PR). Gearhead is still trash 🏃🏻

Right on the nose. I actually get good value in majority of my games with CoB alone. Got to play 1 game before work today and ran BBQ, CoB, MS, and Unrelenting (don't judge just prestiged it's my only tier 3 perk). Went well had a gen regress to 0 with CoB, Unrelenting helped a bit as since I equipped the new outfit I miss more (Might be all in my head), BBQ is actually pretty decent on her (you know more than the BP), and Merciless storm blocks 1 gen a game. I 4k with 1 gen remaining. There are times her manifest/demanifest works great at loops and times it don't.

Wish they would have left Gearhead the same and buffed that. The aura is lame and gets hidden to much.

  • I really want the BP so I can dump it all on Sadako but....I did just jump up another rank so theres that. Maybe I can jump another today unless I get bored again.

i can confirm her not having anti-loop is what made me want to play her to begin with. if i want to play anti-loop i'll play nurse or pyramid head; she just feels different and i love that

Completely agree. This is supposedly what people wanted right? I enjoy her and I have not enjoyed killer in awhile. Also do more than well with her....her manifest/demanifest work well in chase/loops imo.

  • @Cameragosha said:

    The worst killer.

Lol. She is fine...thought everyone didnt want another anti loop killer? Now everyone seems to complain she has no anti loop. Shes fine just git good.

  • Nope nothing here either

I have gotten better with demogorgon but I keep making so many dumb mistakes. I still struggle looping at shack and around pallets. I was wondering if someone could review my gameplay and tell me what I could do better. Thank you I would really appreciate it!

Would love to my friend but not a big Demo player. As for universal skill work on judging distance a bit better to alleviate time lost in chase (for instance the fail shred at shack vault against nea, missed swing at pallet which she faked). She had way to much distance for you to hit the shred and dont hesitate at pallets.....you want them dropped. Other than that I dont think you as bad as you think.

Ormond, good survvors, bad build, etc. Also if your blinded at a pallet always break it while blind if you cant track em. This trial would have been better (not that it was bad) with corrupt instead of Ruin and STBL instead HG. Try not to get down on yourself when you dont have a solid build against survivors who do. Lastly Demo has portals....might want to use them a bit. Tracking, mobility, and slowdown wasted if you dont.

Edit: this is just based off your first video....A 4k at 2 gens is great....knock off some minor mistakes you kill them even sooner.

Freddy can only kill when the person is dreaming, going by that logic he shouldn't work either.

Very true point was to ######### on maps. Theres other licenses I would rather have but not opposed to it. Not to mention any content later dropped wont have FNaF threads everywhere. Im all for getting it over with now.

  • Dont the bots in FNaf only come out to play at night? This is going to be a rough killer to use considering all the maps are bright or daytime now. Also no one really cares about Smuckles or his recycled fake news.

  • @dollidahlia said:

So let me get this straight. You guys complain about nurse and blight all the time how they are the only killers you go against.

then you complain about a different killer’s add-one because it punishes you for going to unhook a survivor when he’s clearly there?

pick a struggle, do you want nurse/blight or other killers?

This made me laugh....I completely agree though.

Clown's add-on "Redhead's Pinkie Finger", despite the recent nerf, is still unfair. Clowns use it to camp hooks. It's as bad as the old iridescent head add-on on Huntress. Even if the clown misses the direct hit, his gas interrupts the unhook anyway, and slows people down. Not to mention it's hard to see and dodge the next bottles.

In my opinion, this add-on should NOT stack with extra bottles add-ons, just like it is the case with Huntress'es Iridescent Head. If Huntress wants to insta-down with her hatchets, she should have pretty good skills to hit a survivor. Clown is the same! If he wants to insta-down a person, he should have some skills at least. If he misses, he should be forced to reload, just like Huntress. However Huntress needs to go find a locker, while the Clown can reload wherever he is. Meaning, he's already a more problematic camper than the old iri head Huntress.

Camping where you can't do anything is no fun. Please give us at least some room for counterplay.

Cant remember last time I seen a PF clown nor ran a PF. Is this really what the devs should be working on? I play a lot of Clown if I wanted to be sweaty and win at all cost I would bring Ether/bleach or Bleach/sloppy addon not PF.

  • Coming from someone who primarily plays M1 killers (Clown, Mike, Pig, Ghostface, Trapper) no just no. She is lightyears past those characters....I don't run into much issues not being able to teleport when I want. There are quite a bit of Tv's on the map and even if they were 3 minute CD's she would still be better than those killers.

  • Nope. Clunky, boring as ######### add-ons, not a fan of SH anyhow.

  • She got me to play back to back killer games for the first time in months. Yes I am having fun with her and still 3 days in I think she is strong. Really liking Call of Brine as well but the scourge perk is the one I thought I would like the most but have got more value out of Merciless storm than that one. Going to wait to final judge it when I get on other killer (Especially Huntress).

I wanted to see other ppl opnions on this topic because as a killer main who already got P3 and all perks on every killer then followed Mathieu's advice (play something else) i can't really recommend this killer to others...

She is not really fun to play as she has nothing special other than being able to walk through survivors and teleporting feels really clunky because you can't really tell exactly where the TV is nor the side its facing and on top of that u cant even move your camera during the animation...

In the end she is just a M1 killer with no chase potential, no insta down and a long cooldown teleport that can be prevented by survivors, instantly removing any form of potential map pressure she might have.

I must say that im just playing her because she is new and i wanna P3 her and find the best build possible, however she is boring as clown, Freddy and Wraith are more interesting to play (even tho they are extremely bland too), and once i get there, i'll probably stay away from DbD until next chapter.

I find her very fun. I agree chases can be rough in certain areas but I find her very strong.....before the backlash comes my primary killers I use are Pig, Clown, Ghosty, Mike, and Trapper and I rarely dont get at least a 2k with them but I know there not strong. If you notice none of those killers have mobility so being able to get around pretty frequently is spoiling me.

I have a couple clips on the Xbox DbD activity feed (uploading another now) showcasing exactly why I find her strong. The condemned could use some tweaks but I personally feel her chase should be harder because of what she brings elsewhere.

Before tonight I have only got various coldwind and yamaoka maps so was patiently wating for a heavily survivor sided map to see how I did. I finally got Badham last gm...had a terrible start and still 4k at 2 gens remaining. All my games with her I have used her 3 perks along with corrupt (tier 2 versions). I just got max corrupt along with SHPR and this next game I will bring tier 1 of that in replace of merciless storm.

Any Xbox gamers check out the activity feed hopefully you can find my clips....also OP your right takes a sec to figure out where you facing coming out of tvs but so far has not hurt me too bad.
