Most other games display wether people are playing together or not. DBD for some reason doesnt even though it should.
For Survivors it would honestly be nice to know if people are on comms or playing togehter since it helps determine if those guys go for the save etc.
For killers it would be nice cause SWFs makes some builds just borderline useless. Oblivious Builds for example make absolutely no sense if everyone just calls out where you are all the time.
A long time ago, in the land before time Killer's could tell if survivor's were swfs because swfs would load in to the lobby at the same time.
BHVR had a smart idea to remove this feature instead of asking why killer's are dodging. -

I made similar post for survivors, so i am asking to killers now.
Are you happy with current version of DbD? Do you think devs care about your role? And why you are happy/unhappy about game, what is your reasons?
My 3 biggest gripes about killer are
1. M1 Killers: These killers need to be updated because I feel that they excel when you create dead zones or when survivors make a mistake
2. Maps: I wanted to say Gen speeds, but I think map designs and sizes might be the main source of the problem.
3. The meta: I find it laughable how the killer meta is still gen defense but they nerfed gen defense with limited regression events. Maybe this is nostalgia talking but I miss when Ruin (Red skill checks) was the only gen defense perk we needed because it brought us enough slowdown to run/play with memes.

Any advice from vets who have been burned out before. When you feel like you aren't having fun anymore on either side how do you move your goal posts to start trying to have fun again.
Maybe it's the matchmaking but I feel like I'm being outplayed or beat on both sides and I'm just not enjoying myself anymore. When I play solo survivor I'm lucky if I escape 2 or 3 times out of 10 games and when I play killer I feel like I don't have a second to breathe before 2, 3, or 4 gens are done or I getting taken to looping school all day.
Is this remedied by literally just taking a break? I know others have probably felt like this before. I'm not new either I have over 4k hours in the game.
Only advice there is to give is to take a break and stop playing.
I took a 2yr break, when I came back and tried playing again, the same frustrations and problems were still there. I only play maybe twice a month now, and I haven't purchased a DLC since Skull Merchant. Time is the only thing that will tell you weather to keep playing or not.

Taking Steam data, the player base continues to decline. I know Steam doesn't count consoles and I'm not saying dbd is dying. But why?
The game is much more balanced now than 2-3 years ago, killers are very solid and viable (except for a few), there are many balanced maps (except for a few), many "broken" strategies no longer exist...
In theory the player base should increase and not decrease.
Some people will now say "there are no new game modes"... "lights out" had literally no effect on player numbers.
your opinions?
The game is much more balanced now than 2-3 years ago..,While I agree with this statement, I have to say that 2018 was dbd at it's peak (imo). Yes there was a lot of busted stuff such as, release MoM, instant DS skill check on the obsession without being hooked, OG Nurse and Spirit, OG Ruin, Killer's weren't tunneling and camping as hard as they are now, killers able to grab survivor's from the hatch.
DBD in 2024 it's not necessarily the balance, but the experience for either side isn't engaging or fun.
Survivor: Despite that I find survivor completely boring to play weather I'm solo or swf, there's nothing unique about the role or characters. It's just hold M1 with occasional skill checks, Ring O Pallet, and trying not to get camped/tunnelled out
Killer: How quickly gens can get done and regression/slowdown not being enough makes you feel like you have to play scummy and tunnel someone out as quickly as possible so that you can at least enjoy the match.

Genuine question: Why on earth is everyone acting as though the Blindness only affects WoO?
Past few months it's the most common perk I've seen survivor's run. When I ran some sort of blindness perk/add-on the survivor would run away from the next loop due to a lack of game sense.

So the community has a problem with UW..,
But when I say Dr. Carter and Darkness Revealed have similar effects(sorta kinda) and are countered by the same perks/gameplay everybody is fine with that?

Let's be real, what would be useful enough that the hardcore survivors would choose them over medkits and toolboxes?
Nothing makes people deviate from the meta unless it's borderline broken, or actually broken. It doesn't matter how good it is, if it can't outperform Adrenaline/Windows/Resilience/ExhaustionPerk, it may as well not exist. Like how nothing makes killers stop running PainRes/PGTW.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to make maps and keys do more things, or at least do what they do now much better, but there's very little BHVR can change that would please the hardcore demographic while also maintaining good game health.
There's another way to get people to deviate from the meta. Something BHVR didn't think of or is too scared to do.
The goal of the 6.0 update was to change the meta. Only reason why that update failed is because all BHVR did was give other perks a chance to shine with the same benefits. The best way to get rid of a meta is to gut the existing meta while encouraging a new one. Grim Embrace's buff is a prime example of encouraging a new meta.

Bodyblocking against her is imposible, that means helping your tunnelled teammate is also imposible.
Very good map mobility, that would be fine if her power was not that busted.
She is just cheating the game with legal way ofcourse. She is really feels like old busted DbD where we had busted infinities, busted survivor items, busted mori offerings. She is from this era. Except her, everything nerfed. She somehow kept her power.
Killers like Billy, Freddy, Slinger was not even close to her level but they all nuked by BHVR but not Nurse obviously. Ofcourse she got some nerfs but no nerf will make her balanced. It's just imposible with her kit.
Nurse is from a different DBD era. She was released when survivor's weren't as strong they are now or in other words she was a head of the curve. Any further nerfs to her and you might as well delete her which BHVR isn't going to doing to do because of $$$

https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/400839/idea-for-solving-3-gen
This wouldn't make much of a difference in the current gameplay. The passive slowdown is not a huge issue on the 3 gen, survivors should be able to get back to the gens pretty quickly as the killer still has to patrol the other gens.
For the perk ideas, that would kill way too much of the killer's ability to get some type of pressure. Last gen complaints are the opposite side of killer complaints: killers complain that the first gens pop way too fast, while survivors that the last gen is way too slow. At the outliers both statements have some truth to them, but as general game design its not an issue, things should go well for the survivors early and tilt over the course of the game. The last gen should be difficult (not borderline impossible, which is what it was with chess merchant and the old Overbrine, but difficult).
If, and its a big if as they've already been weakened quite a bit, the gen perks where going to decrease in values, it should be based on survivors left in the trial. The might mean survivors still have a chance in a 3 v 1 against a 3 gen.
The fact that you even responded to me, and said some of the same things I did tells me you read what I said and that we think a like. Thanks for the unnessesary ping though, glad we on the same page about the topic

@blackfoxx_x said:
A lot of people bring up gen placement and map design, but I think there's a way to address it without changing maps. When there's one gen remaining, generators can no longer regress passively. The killer can still kick generators and get the 2.5% regression, but beyond that generators won't regress on their own (Hex Ruin would be the exception). This would nerf Call of Brine and Overcharge, as the increased passive gen regression wouldn't be in effect at this point in the match. Since they were originally nerfed because of 3 gens, they could probably be buffed back to where they were or close to it.
Jolt/Surge, Eruption and PGtW would probably need some form of nerf as well. Surge and Eruption could have a short cooldown (maybe 20-30 seconds). For PGtW, maybe make it so it no longer activates after hooking a survivor for the 3rd time/death hook (reduces uses from 12 to 8). At one gen remaining, there would probably be at least one or multiple survivors on death hook, so PGtW would get less opportunity to be used in 3 gen scenarios.
These changes should be fairly easily to implement. Some of the typical 3-gen builds/perks could then be buffed to help with slowdown early-mid game since they will lose their passive regression effect when only 1 gen is remaining (Call of Brine, Overcharge, Oppression).
"When there's one gen remaining, generators can no longer regress passively"Stopped reading at that sentence because
- That's technically nerfing and punishing killer for doing one of their objectives
- Maps are part of the issue, and I say this because of maps like Mother's Dwelling, Sufforcation Pit, Azarov's Resting Place (Map not the realm).
Maps such as the ones I mentioned can indirectly force a killer into 3 gens because what's the point in hooking someone on one side of the map just to walk back to the other side and have all gens pop on that side of the map? At the point the killer genuinely has no reason to be on that side of the map.
Scanning over everything else you said, it looks you wanna completely butcher regression and if you do that than the game will become unplayable and possibly boring/frustrating for both sides since tunneling is the answer for regression in its current state.

Killers wanted this meta. They wanted every side objective survivors have to be nerfed: CoH, medkits, chase perks etc.
Now survivors have no reason to leave gens.
CoH (boons in general): If BHVR had made boons work like Hex's, than Boons would have never been a problem
Medkits and Healing: Idk who asked for this but I'm putting the blame on BHVR's poor choice of balance because of CoH (Even though medkits themselves weren't a problem)
Second Chance perks: These had to go, because killer's are too dependant on survivor's making mistakes, on top of that DH for distance extended chases pretty much screwing the killer over.
DS: Imo this perk needs to be deleted because of how unhealthy it is. The 6yrs I've been playing this game, the perk always makes it into patch notes at least once a year weather it's a nerf or a buff. I don't have a problem with the perk (its current state at the time of this comment) but it either needs to become forgotten or staked in the heart.
Edit: Spelling Error

The amount of games that I have where I lose one or two gens by the time I get the first down is honestly just infuriating. And by the time I get the 2nd down, one or two more gens are popped.
Its so easy for survivors to genrush, all they have to do is hold M1 for a bit whilst the Killer is trying his hardest to get a down.
I simply dont think its fair that in a 4v1 game, the 4 players can finish 20% of their objective by popping a gen, yet the Killer only completes 8% of theirs when they hook a survivor.
Without running multiple gen defense perks or tunneling someone out at the start, the game simply does not feel winnable as a weaker Killer.
The issue is survivor's lacking a objective prior to gens. Right now survivor's are reliant on the killer for a secondary objective weather it's slugging, rescuing, or a hex totem.
I also believe that other factors play into this such as maps and the fact that killer's have to depend on survivor's to make a mistake in a chase.

"Her add ons were gradually reworked to force players into actually using her power effectively."I will never understand why killers having to put in 80% brain power while survivors put in 20% is considered a justified changed especially when survivor's ask "What happened to such and such killler".

I feel like current Spirit will always be a conflicting topic for many people.
Spirit is definitely not weak, I still think they are a top tier Killer, but you hardly ever see them nowadays, I kind of lean towards them being one of the more rare Killers to come across.
At the same time, Spirit is in a weird position with their current power, it is very inaccessible since it relies heavily on audio, making them really difficult for people to play as/against if they have a hearing impairment.
We've also seen a lot of perks introduced that reduce her effectiveness in chase, i.e. Iron Will, Light-Footed, Lightweight, and Off The Record.
I kind of lean towards Spirit needing a rework, mostly because I think they are an inaccessibility nightmare for both sides. But Idk, how do yall feel?
Former Rin Yamaoka main here,
Everybody was too blind to see and understand that giving a indicator that she was using her power, butchered her kit.
On top of that, with how frequent sounds break and perks that literally nullify all survivor sounds, why even play her?
I still possess a lot of love for Rin Yamaoka, but from a survivor prespesctive she's been added to my list of killer's I don't enjoy playing against because all you need to counter her is "A good headset" (as we used to say back in the day if you wanted to learn her)

Honestly the solution to 3 gen is better map design and placements while keeping map size in mind, but that would take a lot of resources for BHVR so we'll most likely get a penalty on killer side for holding them. Hopefully it doesn't do anything against killers who don't hold them all game and survivors rushing into one.
This is something I've been saying about maps like Sufforcation Pit and Azarov's Resting Place. Weather the killer intends to or not, some maps indirectly force killers to play the 3 gen because of map sizes. It's like being a Goalkeeper for both teams which isn't worth it.

Without slowdown or regression the match ends in 5 minutes and both perks have already been nerfed.
As for tunneling, survivors are just gonna have to deal with it, because tunneling is a direct product of regression not being enough.

Every once in a while I'll try to come up with some kind of theme for what killer, perks, addons and play style I want to use.
A while ago I invented Bodyguard Bubba with Dark Devotion (Bubba takes his work very serious and devotes himself fully to it), Lethal Pursuer (It is important that Bubba finds his client quickly), Nemesis (Anyone who stands between him and his duty shall fear his wrath) and Rancor (He hates the ones that put his client in danger). During the lobby screen, you randomly decide who needs to be protected (mostly the rarest survivor). With Lethal Pursuer you try to find this person and then guard them. Whoever comes too close, gets the chainsaw. You do not leave your client's side whatsoever and wherever they go, you follow. The only way to kill survivors is by using Rancor or hooking right next to your client.
Now I'm trying to come up with a milk delivery and an undercover milkman build for Hillbilly. For milk delivery, my innitial idea was a full info build to help the poor milkman find his customers and you are not allowed to use your chainsaw in chase until you have delivered a bottle of milk to every survivor (via a good ol' smack on the head).
But I struggle to come up with something for the undercover milkman. So, instead of using my own imagination, I now want to exploit your's. 😈 Any ideas for themes, themed builds and play styles are welcome.
It wasn't my intent but I made a lobby DC with a speed build on Singularity.
Build:
Add ons: Soma Family Photo (+5% haste wile Overclocked)
Perks
Play With Your Food: Up to 15% haste at max stacks
Rapid Brutality: 5% Haste on successful attack
STBFL: Do I need to explain why?
Fourth perk of your choice
Let's just say that I was flying around the map and chases were ending as they started

A new day, a new patch, but I guess this has been asked thousands of times but do you think generators are a problem? Are survivors repairing gens way too fast from your perspective? Is this the reason why killers in general are using 4 generator blocking/regressing perks?
Imo gen speeds aren't the problem. I think the problem now is survivor's lacking a objective prior to gens. Right now survivors rely on killer's for a secondary optoinal objective weather it's downed/hooked teammate or Hex's that pose a threat.
Granted this is a core game issue but the only way imo they can address it, (which they've been doing) is making killer powers more interactive such as Sadako's Condemn or Temporal Slipstream. These are side(optional) objectives and don't nessesarily have to be done.

Only compensation I think to give survivors for this is to decrease the time it takes for Slip Stream to spread between each other.

I disagree. Removing locker plays remove the ability to force the killer to eat a DS. I don't like the idea of just entering a locker to force a killer to eat a DS or just go search for someone else in the other side of the map. I think Decisive should actively punish killer who wish to hook the survivor just after being unhooked, not punish a killer for winning a chase and letting someone slugged.
A slug is a type of pressure which easily can be lost if someone is nearby or the person have Unbrekable. I don't see too much problem into this.
"I think Decisive should actively punish killer who wish to hook the survivor just after being unhooked, not punish a killer for winning a chase and letting someone slugged."So here's the issue with this. Survivors will go out of there way to harass/annoy a killer to force a DS even if the killer has no interest in tunneling. This is another form of weaponizing DS. How? Granted this is DS from another life, but it's still a prime example of how survivors can weaponize perks.
Jane was hooked 2 HOOKS AGO.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhke0kH3gD0Clearly you see that I had no intent to tunnel (How I avoided Yui, deep wounded Feng and continued the hunt for thickness) but I still got punished. Granted a situation like this will never happen again with DS, it's still a prime example of weaponizing the perk.

i just don’t get how Decisive is a crutch perk coming from someone who has played since 2017 and seen every variation of the perk it hasn’t been crutch in a long time and the decisive we have now is a joke
You say you've been playing since 17' and you still don't get why it's a crutch and why bringing the 5s back is a bad idea?
What makes it a crutch? Let's see
Base kit BT that's synergizes with OTR (CHANCE 1)
Weather OTR is used or not and you go down DS to get free (chance 2)
Now that your free you can use DH to take another hit (chance 3)
Now let's say you didn't have OTR and the killer had no intent to tunnel so they slug you to avoid DS (practically chance 2 or 3)
If you've been playing since 17' doesn't this sound familiar?

One of the greatest slasher icons and he’s stuck as the most boring killer to play while also being bottom tier. And for some reason he keeps getting nerfed and the only slightly fun thing about him (snares through walls) was removed this patch.
And now Huntress, one of the most popular and balanced killers, is somehow a higher priority than Freddy is, the third least played killer according to Nightlight. And Onryo is getting a second rework months after her first one while Freddy has been waiting years (and I bet this pushed Freddy further down the balance list).
Once Hag and Twins receive their changes Freddy is going to take their place as the least played killer on the game and seeing Freddy Krueger be the least popular character just feels wrong.
Please BHVR, can we get some idea when we can expect to see Freddy changes? He has nothing going for him. He’s not fun, he has no skill ceiling, he’s incredibly weak, he has next to no good add ons, and he’s not even fun to play against. Please just give him anything.
You think Frederick is bad? Mikey is probably the most outdated killer in the game and my 6yrs playing this game the man has not received a very miniscule buffs/updates.
His son was practically reworked twice(if we count his PTB failure)
Pig is getting a update
But Mikey is somehow just existing

It's obvious by now that we survivors ask for way too much from bhvr. We begged for basekits and mechanics that will make killers weaker. M1 killers soon have to be deal with not only 3 gen changes but also save the best for last, sloppy butcher and more. We beg for reworks that also made Trickster worse and onryo worse than ever before. We're deeply sorry for this.
We're always blaming killers for picking nurse, blight, wesker but never question ourselves why. It's because of our actions that ultimately lead to this situation. Now we're complaining that we see too much of these killers but instead of promoting a healthy balance we keep nagging the developers for nerfs to M1 killers and perks that actually helps M1 killers to flourish during the game and now the 3 gen meta will also kill off more lower tier killers such as Trapper, etc.
Don't mean to quote OneRepublic but, '"Its too late to apologize"
Now that I got that out.
"But never question ourselves why?"
All due respect that's not for any role to be asking, that's what BHVR should be asking before considering buffing/nerfing something based on word of mouth from the community.

I've been seeing more and more games now where killers are tunneling hard at 5-4 gens and they would purposely stand and face camp the survivor for them to hop off the hook only to be tunneled down very hard
even when you try to take body blocks for the survivor they would down you and ignore you going for the person they were tunneling hard for
Tunneling is The Nature of The Beast, there is no way to address tuneeling with the current state the game is in. Everytime BHVR tries to address tunneling it gets worse mainly because of core game issues such as gen times, map/killer/perk designs, unnessesary buffs/nerfs to perk etc.

It’s not worse. Tunneling is as it has always been: META. That is the point. When gens were at their slowest *killers still tunneled*.
The slowest the gens ever were was back when we had Ruin 1.0 (Red Skill Checks), and killers only tunneled toxic/annoying/attention seeking survivors. But than we entered "The Era of Casuals" because people were gen tapping because apparently red skill checks were too hard to hit even though they were the reason why I got good at skill checks in general.

With upcoming nerf to MfT, i believe we have most healthy meta ever. All of these perks have some pros and cons which makes them fair and balanced.
Not trying to crush your hopes and dreams but Imma be real honest with you.
6.0 didn't change ######### (Capital letters). The meta might be healthier, but this is the same meta from when I started playing 6yrs ago and that's very disappointing. Trying my best not to project, but this just makes me glad I quit.

I've been through my highs and lows with this game. I've been here since 2017, I've gone through my frustrations (there's been so, so many), I've gone through the euphoria, I've gone through times where I'll play nothing but this game and times where I don't touch it for 2 months.
I've never really felt like I do now.
I know what burnout feels like, because my god do I burnout a lot doing everything. But right now I just feel... empty. I have no strong feelings towards DBD at all. I look at it in my Steam library and can't bring myself to feel angry or excited or anything. Every single game of DBD feels the same, no matter who I play: killer or survivor; solo or SWF; wraith or pyramid head. The game feels so unbelievably stale- ironically, the balance and meta shakeups seem to have done nothing but ensure the meta lays in a more boring way when it's settled.
To give you an idea of what I mean, every game will go one of three ways: The NBW Core, The Training Montage, and The Three Gen
The NBW Core is exactly what it sounds like: it'll be a Nurse, a Blight, or a Wesker, bringing their most snoozefest add-ons and quad regression. Which is fine the first few times. When I've reached game 25 of the week on Survivor and haven't seen a fourth killer it's a little bit of a problem. But that's okay, we'll nerf Pig.
The Training Montage is a bit of a pun: it just means tunneling. You'll be tunneled at 5 gens, tunneled at 4, tunneled till death do us part. Camped as well, but they'll be hovering just outside the anti-camp range for maximum efficiency. Props to those that bring a map offering that's open as hell to really stop any incoming rescue attempts. Nothing says playing a video game like preventing people from playing the video game.
And The Three Gen. Find a 3 gen, do not lose the 3 gen, usually as a Snooze Merchant or Knight but honourable shout out to the Demo's and Xeno's I've seen who like to adopt this.
And then as killer, you either play fair and receive a barage of toxicity from people pent up from their last games and taking it out on whoever they can because nobody in their personal life likes them enough to put up with their insults, or you don't and receive a barage of toxicity from people pent up from their last games and taking it out on whoever they can because nobody in their personal life likes them enough to put up with their insults. You can stack quad regression on a stupidly strong killer and ROFLstomp Solo Q, or you can go for a slightly memeier build and try to have a fun time and in doing so envoke the ire of every deity known to history, all of whom have focused their eternal wrath upon you in this one moment in the form of the four Survivors you're about to face.
Maps feel the same. Adding new variations doesn't fix the fact that fundamentally they all feel like they play the same.
Chases feel the same. Reach a loop, use power/comp drop pallet, leave loop, W key, repeat.
Builds feel the same. At least before the first shakeup everything was so busted that you could whip out an unexpected perk and change the tide of the game, on either side. Could get a clutch PR/DMS/PGTW that saved the game or an out of nowhere UB saves from a slugfest. Now you still can but it's not as exciting because you don't really have a middle ground anymore.
DBD at the moment feels like the epitome of stomp or be stomped. There's no close games, there's no exciting nailbiting conclusions, there's no last second finales or critical moments that pull a game back from the brink of the end.
There's just nothing. There's no emotion, no joy, just pumping out bandaid fixes to fundamental problems that don't help that much in the long term but buy these limited time cosmetics!
It's grown almost too large and the team seemingly hasn't grown with it. There's almost an intrinsic disconnect between what needs to be done and what is being done, with some important features staying on the backburner as a low priority for literal years now while something trivial that nobody's asked for is rushed out underbaked and bugged as hell. There's a licence speedrun to get everything possible crammed into the game instead of fixing the fundamental issues at the heart of DBD, exposed as the padding covering them has been chipped away by poorly thought balance decisions and awful player attitudes. I can't bring myself to be excited for the new chapter or new Trickster changes. I can't bring myself to be excited for anything. The last brand new, large-scale game system to fix a genuine issue was the Endgame Collapse in patch 2.7.0. That was mid-May in 2019 and we're almost halfway through our fifth patch cycle since then (7.4.0).
I'm completely apathetic towards the current state of DBD, when I used to feel so incredibly passionate. I'd hyperfixate on every tiny aspect of this game and now I can't bring myself to feel a modicum of joy or anger or wrath or distate. I don't feel anything.
Does anyone else feel this way?
Imma be brutally honest with you! It's time to move on to a different game. Your literally explaining how I felt when I quit this game 2yrs ago. Only reason why I'm still around on the forums.., (If this gets me banned idc) I'm waiting for this game to die or to get better. Imo every update feels like BHVR takes a step forward while also stepping back at the same time.
Take a break from DBD and play some other games, when(If) you come back you'll probably have your answer on weather to give up or not.

To help balance this broken ass killer AND to be more realistic if the killer gets hit with a flamethrower he should drop whoever he is carrying. Patch it.

All I see are salty ass Killer mains NOT wanting to make it fair, just easy for them to 4k, grief and troll survivors. By all means continue to ######### post and prove my point instead of actually talk about fixing and patching problems with the latest release. Another big bullshit that needs fixed is being able to down a survivor with the tail whip across a downed pallet even while the survivor is crouching. A hit across it fine sure but like nemesis if you are crouched behind a window or pallet these should NOT be hits. Go ahead gried about how that is totally acceptable blah blah blah.
Projecting is not a good way to start a discussion, especially when you project at others that are calling you out on the fact that your projecting.

I play both sides main survivor tho but I play killer when I get sick of surv and rarely struggle unless it’s a really good swf
I don't intended to be passive-aggresive, but a lot of your comments and responses seem to show that you play very little killer because you refuse to look through the killers scope.
I don't wanna kick a dead horse because i've read 60% of the comments here, but I think you need to spend more time playing killer and get to an Average MMR, so that you can get a better of understanding that BL really isn't a crutch, but more of a band-aid fixing for a CORE GAME ISSUE that is still a problem for the game today.

Gen speeds are fine. Map designs and maps being RNG are the issue along with poor killer designs

For anti-camp, first we got base-kit BT. And devs confirmed there is anti-camp mechanic on the way as well.
Making camping less viable is good on my book, i appreciate devs for working on this.
Do you think same feature will happen for slugging and tunnelling as well or they will just leave them as they are? And bonus question, do you think we need something for slugging & tunnelling?
Yes camping and slugging tactics suck, but that is the nature of the beast. Nerfs to killer tactics will only lead to scummier ones which will eventually get to a point to where it's not even worth playing killer. Like a Deer getting upset that it's predator is vegetarian because it's predator isn't allowed to kill.

But going up against a killer with mobility makes this perk useless, ds isn't op at 4 seconds and the nerf was overkill
Tunneling is part of the game, the devs have literally pushed killers to that point.
I disagree with DS going back to 5s because
- Game State: The state that the game is currently in with BT basekit, God loops, **it map designs and RNG litertally being a factor. Granted these are core game issues if you bring back 5s DS now, your just adding a extreme headache to balance and killers
- Granted nothing much has changed about the meta really, If you revert DS to 5s we might as well undo 6.0 and go back to a boring meta that we've had FOR SEVERAL YEARS
- I personally feel DS should have gone back to a 3s stun a long time ago when they nerfed Enduring(perk) to only effect pallets because, since that was the sole reason they made it 5s
