I sympathise with how annoying the achievement is but lol I'm not gonna assist you in killing me, or my team for that matter. If I went for it I wouldn't expect the survivors to roll over and die immediately for my convenience either.
If I was the last survivor alive and had the option of gate or hatch I might consider offering myself up instead, before then, no.

I'm not trying to be offensive to anyone but SBMM only benefits terrible players.
You're either a good player, and now the entirety of your matches will be absolute sweaty miserable games, and for the people who are bad, who had okay matches it's purely because you only got put with other bad players.
DBD at it's highest level is literally slugging and slamming out gens letting people die if you have to or camping at 5 gens to secure pressure.
The only people who are celebrating SBMM are mediocre players, and the thing is, everyone on this forum thinks they're gods gift to dbd so will of course argue that they are indeed the best player but their matches were still ok.
Aren't most players pretty mediocre? If MMR works for most and the current system only works for a few the right answer is obvious.

That isn't the issue.
The issue is that high Ranked DBD is so unbalanced that most Killers have no opportunity to win, which isn't fun at all.
Despite this, BHVR has done nothing to ease the unbalanced nature of high Ranks.

They should be paired with Killers at their level. But due to Balancing, a Good Killer will never win against a Good Survivor Team.
Well maybe when the bigger streamers are having more matches like this it'll be more difficult to ignore high level balancing. It'll definitely showcase the issues a lot more than slaughtering urban evasion squads at 5 gens with perkless trapper is going to.
-
I say this every time on these posts and never really get an answer. This team is in the matchmaking pool, whether MMR is on or not. If not someone like otz, who exactly should they be paired up with?
-
Well I got my Steve and Nancy adepts in two games because I got matched with inexperienced killers so that was nice, if kinda boring.

From what I know, they will change the descriptions (e.g. the flavour text is the least that needs to go) and the names of the Perks. And I guess once they have done it, they are free to change whatever they want.
E.g. there might be the Perk Surge they cannot change, but the Perk "I dont know a name" can be changed.
Even tho, BHVR usually cares to keep the Balancing all by themselves, so they should be able to change the Perks regardless. But since they have to remove everything that points to Stranger Things anyway, they will most likely just treat it as a different Perk.
I'm sure you'll enjoy your new avatar ;)

Sure why not.

i agree except the Fragrant Tunft of Hair is most likely so stay, since it is needed for the Evil Incarnate achievement.
Here is what I proposed for a Myers update. It's almost a year old but most things are still valid.
I can understand that it might be a bit opressive if you are a newer player and actually don't know how to play against him well. Beginners or even mediocre players often let him stalk freely which is a great disadvantage for you and your team in the long run.
The opression you might feel with Perma EWIII, might be because you and/or your teammates heal up or hide all the time. Don't heal during EWIII, because if he gets you, the 16s (or 32s with Self Care) are totally wasted. Just stay alert and do gens. He has nothing really except an insta down, a longer lunge and a slightly faster vault speed during EWIII. You can still loop him quite well tbh. And Myers has the WORST early game of all killers. Even worse than Hag or Trapper.
If he gets to EWIII (especially with perma EWIII) before a gen is finished, that's your problem and not a balance issue.
I really like your ideas for him 👍

Idk I played on console for a long time and of all the performance related BS I'm pretty sure none of it gave me an advantage

it became tunneling the moment you didn't drop her again.
Going back when someone gets unhooked isn't tunneling. Hitting them cause you cannot assess if they're trying to take a bt hit or just got unfortunate with the direction pick isn't tunneling. picking them up for ds isn't tunneling.
But the moment you say 'okay, they didn't have bt, they didn't have ds or missed it, let's hook them again' that is tunneling. maybe swap stbfl for whispers or play more survivors to learn where to hide.
The Nea shouldn't charge at the killer without BT and the rescuer shouldn't hide (and should definitely not farm the survivor instantly without BT and then hide)
I dislike tunnelling but if the situation is as OP described it both survivors seemed to be insisting on it.

I like Hellraiser. I'm a fan of Clive Barker's work.
But I'm worried that Pinhead is basically going to be Deathslinger + Pyramid Head. I really, really hope he's more interesting than that and also fun to play on console, but if it's a ranged chain attack plus a new kind of "punished" thing, that would almost certainly be disappointing.
..

@miketheratguy said:
I'm looking forward to Pinhead, though I will laugh out of sheer confused bemusement if it turns out to be FNAF. I mean this forum would come UNGLUED.
I wonder about the timing of these things. I wonder how much of a calculated move it was to slip in the Stranger Things news on the eve of something potentially very positive. Pretty shrewd, I have to admit. So I guess, while I'm still not feeling very happy about THAT development, I'll be just as curious as everyone else to log in tomorrow and see what's next. Gotta move on.
It'll be springtrap, the license will then expire after a single day and not be renewed
-
I would've probably proxy camped, try to tier up off of any rescuers and try to down a few of them. If just one rescuer then go for them to make sure it's a trade.
-
Maybe demo will become a popular killer to play when he's exclusive, I mean people don't wear legacy because it looks good.
-
@Jago said:
Dont worry. People will sell accounts with Demo unlocked for 50 bucks.
Urgh yeah that will definitely happen
-
Demo is fine the way he is, he doesn't need buffs. He can shred his way through most survivor teams. He may not be able to deal with the elite swfs you go against every round, my liege, but honestly who cares

They patched this a month or so (not sure exactly) but you can't steal from someone's chest anymore. At least not from behind it
Ah ok I guess it was the other method a few people mentioned. I don't keep up to date with these things, I prefer to troll my teammates in the traditional way - being completely ######### useless
-
I'm doing this anyway but this won't help, whichever company was at fault won't reconsider because we play a character more. Get your adepts now while they're meaningful.

Have you legitmately caught people in lockers before through his portals?? I've never seen that happen that's actually so funny if you have.
Yeah, the first few times were accidental, like the first time I just had an active portal in shack, I was chasing a survivor in there and when I readied shred killer instinct triggered on the locker nearer the window so I went to claim my prize instead. I don't think most survivors would consider that's a thing that might happen, it's pretty situational.
-
@Mat_Sella said:
Demo has my second favorite power (Shred), don't know how to effectively use portals, but that's gotta change eventually.
Near important gens and other important locations (i.e. maybe near an exit gate if the survivors are doing well) preferably not in view of the survivors, and close to places they'll be but not so close they can hear it once activated. Near a cluster of lockers can also occasionally pay off, killer instinct will still show any survivors in them. Oh and top of the basement stairs is a good one and combines nicely with MYC.
-
Not feeling especially celebratory, no

Thankfully konami is a wonderful and consistent company that puts great love and attention into their licences
...
maybe we can get a pachinko chapter?

I'm just gonna have to main demo, that's all there is to it. I suck at playing him but now I'm determined to get decent. He's legitmately my favorite killer to play against, there's already so few demo mains and seeing a demo after November 17th is gonna be a treasure for sure. So I'm gonna gonna pledge to main demo, who's with me? 🤘
He was already like my no. 3 but yes

What would be the alternative? To remove the content from every players existing account? This would be even worse.
No ofc not I love playing demo and would probably uninstall. I'm just whining because I feel bad for future players who won't get them but I don't have any alternative suggestions to offer, no.
-
It's weird because there's not supposed to be any more "exclusives" anymore...but only people who started playing the game before a certain date having access to a whole killer + power + two survivors + their perk icons AND their associated cosmetics is much worse than access to some crappy default Feng recolour being restricted.
-
I'm weirdly sad about this. Demo is one of my mains, I like the hawkins map, and we've never "lost" a killer or survivor before have we?
-
I assume it'll be like Bill's perks on console before he came to console, the icons and text were more neutral
-
I was one of the few who liked the map on both sides. :( It should've been haddonfield
-
I'm just relieved that shack pallet managed to survive.
-
Unless I've missed something, we don't know anything about them yet. Also things announced during anniversary streams have a habit of just never being mentioned again
-
On my steam account, 465 hours and 103 achievements. I have some basic ones missing, like the bring an ebony mori one. Rarest one I have is adept nemesis

What the hell is item tech and why are you stealing from teammates?
Someone else searches a chest and you swipe it before they can pick it up. It's pretty funny so long as you actually return it, otherwise it's just obnoxious

I've heard he says Staars when pulling Jill out of a locker or using a Mori on her but haven't played as her or Nemesis yet so can't confirm. Pallet stuns Staaars would be good.
He does. A Jill ran into a locker post unhook and I've never been so excited to get locker DS'd.

Ranks will only be reset to 20 each month when MMR arrives which means that adepts are going to be significantly harder with a killer you already played a ton.
There will be no difference in the skill level of survivor based on reset when that happens
The survivors you go against will be the same, but the emblems will be a lot more forgiving.
-
Killer adepts are going to get a lot easier when we get reset to 20 every month, so there'll be no need for any of this
-
Tunnelling - ignoring all other survivors to repeatedly chase + hook one
Camping - as you say, although rescue is often possible
Noed - no one escapes death, controversial killer hex perk
Swf - survive with friends, survivors playing in a premade squad
Face camping - like camping but they just stare right in front of you and don't move. Often done out of spite, frustration, or just trying to get an endgame kill
DH - either dead hard (survivor exhaustion perk) or devour hope (killer hex perk). Usually means the former
Slugging - downing a survivor but then leaving them instead of hooking them. Can be more beneficial to the killer than it sounds.
-

Hillbilly %100 deserved the nerf.
New players still play him the same way they did before, it's the red rank killers who are complaining they can't get insta downs all the time.
Yeah seeing billy even less than twins or hag is great. Every time I went against a billy I remember thinking how they should delete him so I can face killers who are actually fun to go against, like spirit and freddy, preferably just spirit and freddy over and over again and again and again, and my prayers were answered ❤️

@Marigoria said:
That's the team mate being greedy. Just go to the gate and escape next time instead of waiting for hatch,
There is one situation when you need to get out through the hatch which is an active RBT. Teammates won't even leave then.
-
Or maybe buff a perk that isn't strong? There isn't a shortage of them
-
Because it doesn't matter. Usually not much and at the moment not at all.

Ahh okay I've played her on PS4 as well as pc and pc is definitely easier, the ranged ones in general are.

It definitely takes less vom to break them. Purple especially feels pretty busted when I use it.

Because 1987 is the year that Hellraiser released...?
I can say with certainty that the developers did not do this to spite FNaF fans.
No it was the people behind hellraiser, who decided to make it in 1987 just to annoy fnafers
