I do think the devs can hit some of the pain points to help with the killer role. They did it to help survivors combat tunneling and camping they need to do a little for the killer as well. Killers got 10 seconds more on gens that's great but then they added 10 seconds to hooks and that totally overwrote the gens. Killers got buff to some of the base kit but then they went and slowly buff stuff about survivors that undid the buffs. Oh faster animations we'll add more pallets so the break speed increases doesn't matter because they have to break more.

It's a PVP game, all sides should feel stressed to perform and to win (stress comes in good and bad forms.)
My point is that the fact that people think survivor is less stressful is a problem in itself because you should feel pressure to be a performing member of your team, and this is why I personally find killer to be less stressful.
I can't let anyone down but myself, my performance is 100% on me which makes it so much easier to find out what went wrong and how to improve.
If I don't feel like playing a match out, I don't need consent from anyone else, I don't have to worry about someone else quitting, I don't have to worry about people bringing bad perks or useless playstyles, the list goes on.
This is just my opinion though, which is why I said that killer anxiety definitely exists in my original post, I just find it overblown because its a trendy narrative that killers aren't the power role but are an underdog fighting bullies.Or they could lean into stuff that isn't just optimal gameplay. Like why get rid of sky Billy, stop adding a thousand LoS blockers and invisible walls so I can go for crazy long range shots again as huntress and not animation locks.
I think part of the problem is killer has no other option then to play the game optimal if you want to do fun stuff BHVR tends to patch that out. This is just an idea and I do agree with you that people do tend to take survivor less serious. I will say playing survivor optimally isn't very fun I don't really want to watch a bar fill the whole match.

Just out of interest what exactly scares you about playing killer?
I'm a killer main personally and I rather don't play survivor. My reason in this case is that my own mistakes matter to 3 other people and can trip them over, I'm personally rather at fault for my own mistakes than making other people have to deal with them. While it's more like a preference it's also kinda a fear because I'm actually scared in reallife to interact with people, I also usually try to do everything on my own to not make them any problems and stuff like that. I don't even go into baking shops because I'm scared to talk to the baker xD
So is it in your case turned around kinda that you're scared of having to deal with your mistakes or is it more like a fear that you have to perform on a kind of stage? (Now that I think about that I think the fear with the stage is also probably a reason why I don't play survivor much. Sure they are looking at me as killer too, but more as an enemy instead of someone that performs for you I think?)
I wouldn't say i get scared necessary but I've seen alot of stuff playing through the years . I would say it's almost like ptsd not saying that's what it is but I play alot of the lower tier killers so some maps can just kill me or even perks.
IIt Would go something like I boot up the game click on killer and then start thinking about the some of the crazy bs like maybe get a decent squad on like garden of joy or that bully squad the kept hit me with flashlights making sure I had 0 hooks stuff like that start going through your head and you start going man do I really want to q up into to that

I've always been really puzzled by the way only killers are ever spoken about, and if you try to say "what about survivors" there's all this invalidating. What effects one person doesn't effect the other. Being part of a team that you might let down can cause anxiety. Being potentially let down by that team and trapped in a situation you have no control over too. The idea of being murdered is also not exactly chill, whereas killers only have to watch someone walk through a gate. This isn't a killer problem, it's just a problem some people have, and I don't know how you think the devs can solve it.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4098129#Comment_4098129
Yeah exactly. I personally find killer more stressful, but I prefer having control over my fate. I don't have to worry about teammates throwing. I don't have to worry if the killer will camp me to death or my teammates will leave me on hook, situations where I'm utterly helpless. Helplessness is much worse than anything I feel on killer.
I'm am the exact opposite. If a teammate leaves me on the hook I'm absolutely frustrated but that's because of them I had no control over there actions so for me it doesn't get to me as much. I can understand that if you have the feeling of been trapped though that can easily cause some problems.
For me I think its feeling overwhelmed by multiple players and the map some times where when im playing killer it can feel as if I'm actively trying to win against a game that's fighting against me.

From some of these posts it's pretty obvious who plays almost exclusively killer, who plays almost exclusively survivor, and who plays both. I will be fully honest that I am a survivor main, I probably have spent around 80% or maybe even more of my in-match hours on survivor. I play survivor because I just enjoy the pacing more, I enjoy being able to take short breaks on generators, and in every game I play I really like playing altruistically.
I think especially as a person who ends up playing solo queue a lot of the time, survivor anxiety 100% is prevalent, and I've especially had it in this event where it feels like killers are running full meta and tunneling almost every game to counteract the event powers. However, I understand that on the killer side, at the very least you don't get the same breaks as survivor. Unfortunately it's just fundamental to the role. I think both sides have a lot of anxiety going on going into games and I think it would be foolish to say one side doesn't exist, but I understand why some people would say the anxiety is worse on the killer side and I think that simply comes down to the pace of the game being faster.
The title might say killer anxiety but story's of survivor anxiety is more then welcome as well.
I can see how teammates doing stupid stuff can cause you to not want to deal with it in the same way that killers have. For me personally I feel it's easier to find reason that are pretty much out of your control as survivor makes it less stressful for me. Again this is me personally.

Buddy.
"I know I'm about to get the loud minority of survivors coming in here and saying how dumb it is and that the killer role is easier them it's ever been but just because the hill your trying to climb is now a 80 degree angle now instead of 90 doesn't make it easy."
An ounce of self-awareness.
Let me guess you think these forums are killer sided right. If so that shows me you only play one side consistently. These forums are what ever side the post isn't about. If a survivor comes in here with a take every killer main will come out and tell you your stupid and get good but almost no survivors come to the defense. The same is ture for the killer side as well.

Its a matter of perspective, I find killer less stressful because I am fully in control of how it will be played, even more so with all the killer buffs cementing it as the power-role.
The fact that you think survivor stress is 'way less prevalent' highlights the problematic mindset I disagree with tbh.The fact that it isn't as stressful for you doesn't mean that a bunch of people don't have that feeling so to say it's not a thing is a pointless statement.
What would the mindset be? The survivor role is just less stressful by they game designed as a 4v1 when you have a team around you the pressure is less on you. Though that does come with the side effect that you can also be brought down by your teammates where you did everything right but everyone hid in a corner.
-
@Wyndsor said:
It actively gives both sides anxiety, the killer-victim narrative is just more prevalent.
Other than that, I would agree, the problem is game pacing is too fast due to no comeback mechanics for either side, but slowing the game down isn't profitable which is why most multiplayer games are 'Tiktokifying' their gameplay loops.
Shorts bursts of dopamine = more impulsive purchases = better ROI and more accessible to more players. The fact you come in with a victim narrative right away is crazy.
I never once said that survivor was easy or that there was a lack of anxiety on that side so if your going to come in here with some what about stuff you can go ahead and move on your opinion isn't need here.
Now with that killer is way more stressful do to that fact it's a 4v1 and everything falls on your shoulders as with survivor there's always someone else you can look at and say well if they just did gens or didn't just leave me on hook while sitting in a corner brings the stress down alot. But as I said with killer been easier now just because it's less stressful on survivor doesn't discount that the role can still be stressful and there can be survivor anxiety it's just clearly not as prevalent as the killer side

Stop hiding and pick a good spot and take chase and learn the real counters to Jason there's alot of spots he can't hit atRaised the issue in previous comment but good Jason players simply wont chase if you are not exactly around where they want you. You cant force someone to chase you when you cant see or hear them nearby but they can see you just fine...unless you are crouching to avoid red mist.
At least with other killers you can see them leaving you for other gens. Jason surviours get no tracking.
There is no reason not to chase you if your the only person you can find, unless he's holding a 3 gen or just refusing to go to a busted set up bit that's no a jason thing that's just all killers. You have to bait his power just like any other killer it's just done in the reverse that everyone is use to.
Do know when he's leaving for gens because you hear his power happen. Dredge, demo, wraith are the same you know there going somewhere else but you don't know exactly where .
-
If your getting crow's that's on you. The easiest counter play to jason is not giving him a chase but that's also the worse counter play because your playing right into his hands. You can chose who where and when the chase happens as a survivor.
Stop hiding and pick a good spot and take chase and learn the real counters to Jason there's alot of spots he can't hit at.
BTW his haste does need to be cut down to 3-5 seconds

How are you concluding that this forum is “killer sided”? You know, some people here actually play both sides and will stand up against things that are broken on either side.
Because these forums tend to be whatever side you don't main. I swear I notic if a killer comes in an complains about something every survivor will show up and tell they how wrong they are and they need to get good but you don't get to main other killer players coming in agreeing or have a positive thing to say. The reverse is ture for survivors as well. Alot of people on here prefer to tell you how your wrong then actually have a discussion or make constructive criticism.

It doesn't stop anything though. I don't go a single killer session without someone trying to get killed quick to leave, often at match start. If I don't oblige they just chase me around or noise spam. These people are probably even more detrimental than a 3v1 because they're actively sabotaging. It isn't a killer or survivor sided change. It's an attempt to look like something was done when it really wasn't.
I do agree with you. I wasn't trying to say it was a survivor sided update but that it was definitely not a killer sided update. If anything I would say it does swing more towards a survivor side update though do to it taking away the 3v1 but I am 100% ok with it because it's attempting fix a serious problem that ruins the match for both sides.
-
That go next prevent is a killer side update like I said if a survivor goes next its a 3v1 which is pretty much a guaranteed win. The go next makes it so either they stay in the match and it's a 4v1 which makes it harder on the killer then a 3v1 or they dc and they at least get a bot that can do gens and the killer still has to take the time to down the ai which is time they aren't defending gens. Saying it's a killer sided change is just objectively wrong.
-
@ArcT said:
Pretty sure that Nightlight is still counting abandons as escapes, which artificially drags kill rates down.
And BHVR has said that their own stats throw out all games with DCs, which also drags kill rates down.
So all we have are two sets of stats that we know both self-limit to severely underestimate the actual kill rates.
So the best way to get an idea of what things look like is to use what we have and make the best observation of the situation. Now if your using nightlight as 100% accurate and saying these are the state period then don't take that seriously.

Ah yes the bots that were instantly made useless because killers complained they were getting outplayed by an AI are so useful for survivors and I'm definitely glad resources went towards them instead of fixing the issues survivor has had for the last few years.
That doesnt check out because unless your playing a ranged killer you can easily abuse the ai to make mistakes and get easy downsts was.
The go next prevention was put in place because survivors were complaining about all the other survivors going next on hook. That doesn't hurt the killer in anyway it actually benefits them to get a quick 3v1. You can try to gaslight that the go next prevention is a killer sided change but is objectively not if all 4 survivors stay in the game it's much harder on the killer then that 3v1 so that math isn't mathing.

The go-next punishments were put in place for killers, so if your opponent is better than you and tunneling you there's not much you can do.
It's by design sadly.Right Its not like survivors were tired of there teammates going next because they ran into a wall and they quite. It's definitely the killer wanted to make sure it's humans they are playing against.
Could have swore I was hearing all the survivors complaining about the go next epidemic but sure let's go with it's the killers fault.

In the end you can do gens while he is in his power. He will eventually come out and chase one of you guys. So why waste the time not sitting on the gen. I for example have stopped caring if he is in his power when I am on a gen. The gen progress is way more imporant that hiding from him. Just keep track of the spots he can appear from and if the map has grass and it moves just start moving away of any possible spot for him to appear from. Play the enviroment against him but hiding when doing a gen is pointless as he will either come out to check the gen anyway or you will just waste time sitting in a corner waiting him to comeout.
I have said it would be good to him not see anyone doing objectives but have to wait what the changes are going to be.
This I've been rolling jason in most my solo q matches. I play aggressively when im supposed to and then crouch and don't get seen when is a good idea like right after coming off hook.
Even if the jason player wasn't so good he's so op and brain dead I should be getting rolled right?

It doesn’t matter how large the sample size is. If the data are selective self-reporting, then the data are by definition tainted and invalid. People could be only reporting their wins or only reporting their losses. We have no idea.
Then there's is no argument to be had because we have no actual data. Your stat or my stats aren't a big enough size to use as a data point. The best we would have is the top 5 the devs release and that data clearly doesn't show the full picture still, where is Nurse, onryo is a top 5 killer could have swore she was c-d tier. Then there 40 or so other killers we have no clue on there kill rates.

You do realize an unreliable data source is quite literally antithetical to an objectige discussion right?
Nightlight at least give information on thousands of player which is definitely more of a picture of the situation then taking just one player saying they got 80% kill rate.
Its definitely not the best but since it literally the only large sample size thelat we get you have to take it into consideration and can't just say we'll mine or this one person's stats are more reliable then its

Yeah, but you just have to compare it to.. I'm All Ears - just for equipping the perk you'll see the aura of the person when they vault, and it works in chase. Why is it not OK for there to be some perks that counter it? What about Predator - you lose the chase and get rewarded with the aura of the survivor who successfully outplayed you.
Id say it would be closer to having aura reading just looping in chase would be a good equivalent and you know how busted permanent wall hacks for alot of killers in chase would be?
Ears goes on a pretty decent cooldown once used so if you straight counter it for existing then the killer would get no info and there perk goes on cooldown because the survivor looped them and took a vault.
Predator I don't know about that I never see it and I'm assuming it's because scratch marks exist.
The main problem is huge effect for just existing in chase. You don't have to do anything like stun the killer or lose them just run around in a circle and get a really powerful effect.
BTW I'm All Ears also has a duration it's not like they vault then you have permanent aura reading while in chase.

I think he should get some buffs don't get me wrong but I'm not biased enough to lie and say it's hard to win as trapper.
Just to clear things up the point of the post I'm pretty sure is to say if people are using other killers kill streaks as an example for why x killer is overturned then someone doing it with trapper clearly means that he must be overturned if you follow that logic.

this is simply untrue; hatch is an in game mechanic to encourage ending the match that isn't just straight up pulling the plug.
Without the hatch mechanic, why would I not just reset crows until the server closes? because doing gens at 1 survivor left is 99% impossible. It's how you get the survivor moving to give the killer a chance. The hatch gives hope.
it's killers that get mentally worked up over the hatch. it's merely a formality to close out a game whose conclusion has already been determined.
As a killer main i second. I would way rather them be moving around the map giving me a chance to spot them or crows then them hiding in a corner somewhere for 10 minutes tell they finally get found

Is it because this perk is the new flavor of the month to complain about?
The problem with the perk was it gave you elusive for just existing in chase and remember elusive gives no scratches marks, grunts of pain and aura reading all for just doing a circle around a tile. Imagine if killers could throw on ruin but it wasn't a hex and the whole match killers got free recession for just showing up to gens all match long.

I mean, you're not wrong at all. And I don't support removing the DC penalty entirely, my questioning of it is completely hypothetical of course. I wanted to spark debate on the topic in general. But honestly, I think part of the reason the game is in the state its in gameplay wise is because with the DC penalty we feel expected to tolerate so much more than we used to before the penalty was added. You don't just feel an obligation just to your teammates, the offerings/items you brought, or the killer, but to yourself, as if you quit you don't get to queue again right after. It does create a conundrum though, how many survivors would permanently ban the Nurse, Ghoul, or Jason from being played against ever again if there were an in-game option for it? How about a map ban option, would anyone willingly play Badham Preschool again?
If the DC penalty were gone, BHVR would have a plethora of statistics to look at, for better and worse. Wouldn't be great for the quality of your individual matches, but you'd definitely be able to see what trends appear in killers/maps that make people disconnect so early.
The problem is that anyone will disconnect for no reasons I've had survivors get hit because they ran into a way then dc more often then I would like to admit. Plus you would have massive survivor dc compared to the killer because there's more of them.
I feel like it would be pretty much pointless because of how skewed the data would be

I'd just leave too, that's my point. I see the bots either way, I just don't want to play with bots anymore.
I was using DC penalties as an example for the discussion. The abandon feature exists, why not extend it to those kinds of scenarios? You can keep the penalties, in fact go ahead and triple or quadruple the amount of time the disconnect penalty is for. But allow other survivors to choose whether or not they want to keep playing.
As for killer, its harder to say what the solution would be. Killers really can just effectively go AFK if they decide the match isn't going their way, as I mentioned in the main post. So the DC penalty kind of just prevents them from getting into another match immediately. Perhaps the killer abandon/disconnect conditions are fine how they are now.
But for survivor I think the enjoyment is too dependent on your teammates thanks to the asymmetrical nature of the game, and being able to abandon if someone you aren't queued with decides to ruin the fun and leave could alleviate a lot of frustration.
You will almost never get to actually play the game if the dc penalty is off. Sure if someone dcs then so can you but what happens when that's practically ever game? This is what it would look like load into a map survivor doesn't like said map dc. The. Everyone else dcs and you q up again then you do it again 5 more time and if your luck everyone is happy with the map and the killer and the perks each side brought oh never mind someone dc because one surivor brought urban Evasion.

This has been my biggest frustration with this event. The survivors go out of their way to prevent me from interacting with the event outside of the only thing they can't stop me from doing, poisoning tables.
Try to take chase? Invisibility or speed boost to Narnia. Manage to find them anyway, get a hit and poison them to secure the down? Oops, lost a gen and they just got remote healed to full. Try to patrol gens to locate anyone for a chase? Nah, they preran with a speed boost or invisibility the moment they could hear the terror radius. Actually manage to secure a down? Get body blocked by a conga line of invisible or invulnerable survivors so I can't even get some damn BP from a hook.
I never got into playing Ghoul/Billy/Nurse/Blight. I don't enjoy them so I'm not practiced with them. I normally play M1 killers, so most of my experience is with them. They're what I enjoy. But if I want to participate in the event, I'm actively punished by the event mechanics for trying, and then denied being able to even get a consolation prize in BP by my opponents. It would be bad enough if it was just all the busted event powers I had to deal with, but pile on survivors going to extreme lengths to make my play experience not only miserable while at the same time actively doing all they can to prevent me from earning any BP? It's literally the definition of unsportsmanlike.
I used to get really excited about the anniversary event. Even last year, with the reduced cakes, I still played a ton and had fun as killer and survivor. But after getting my face pushed in match after match, and not even being allowed to make it worth my time by earning some BP just makes me not want to play the game at all. It's disheartening. This is so true most the time i find myself just walking around doing nothing because they just disappeared or get an endurance to the pallet. It feels like why am I playing the event to not actually play the game. I definitely didn't sign up for a walking sim to look at gens but that's what most my killer matches have been.
Been playing alot of survivor and the poison is just as bs as it seemed. It completely takes the fun part out of the game and just guarantees a hit most the time. I got to say they really messed this one up because it feels like most the mechanics in thos event just don't want you to participate in chase.
-
It's getting pretty bad i won't lie i got survivors body blocking me with invisible from getting hooks and it's like cool guess I'm not even allowed to get 1 hook no more. People be talking about events been casual but I get survivors doing the most aggressive things with these buff going out there way to make sure I get the least amount of bp possible.
Just Kills my will to play the game

This would be valid if he wasn't so oppressive in chase. Granted, I play aggressively anyways because either I loop him and we escape or I die and can move on to another game with hopefully a more interesting killer.
I dislike that he encourages an already detrimental playstyle on survivors. You Have to play him like any other ranged killer and denie LoS as much as possible. Can definitely cut that haste down in at least half the time though.
I agree I hate the rat and don't do anything play style because it's absolutely boring for both party's
I say remove the crouch counter and if the device can't find a better couter option practically gut the jump scare to pretty much just info and maybe 2-3 seconds of haste max to get him moving.
And change the jump scare addons obviously.

I don't condone trolling, but going next isn't the only type of trolling.
The killer naturally conditions players to play super passively, so players that already employ this gameplay legit spend the entire round not doing anything. It's boring and really killing my desire to play.
Not to mention Jason's are already adapting to crouching by just teleporting to the nearest object by a gen, and if you get caught which depending on the tile is very likely, congrats you now have zero distance.
Needed Nerfs:
-Duration on power-Reloading needs to disrupt chase
-Exhaustion addon cut in half, haste timer lowered
You shouldn't be playing passively against jason that's exactly what he wants. He wants survivors crouching and not doing gens.

Yes but if they're crouching, that means they aren't doing the gen. Which means, either the game isn't progressing at all or it's actually regressing because of ruin.
That's only when coming out. He doesn't Instantly jump scare these time when he manifest for the survivors to get off the gen and crouch. He's pretty easy to counter with some knowledge. Survivors need to stop zig zagging when the spear is up it's accurate enough you can dodge it at distance.

Yea you're just obscenely incorrect.
- It lasts 25 seconds, 30 seconds with an addon. That is FAR more time than what it takes for a survivor to get to a loop.
- The jason is starting chases from 3 feet away from a survivor… So he's starting with that haste already next to a survivor. He's not wasting it closing distance, idk what you're on about.
Jason doesn't need to close distance like other ranged killers. He goes omnipresent, and appears from 3 feet away.
Survivor's I'm playing are hitting me with crouch then SB into the distance. If there smart there is clear counters to him you just make distance and use LoS blockers so he can't hit you.

A majority of the time the push back means straight up nothing.
Just a heads up jason is 4.4 or 110. If your trying to count the haste after OE most survivors with 2 brain cells make it to a loop and you use your haste closing distance at best.

Huntress just got a slew of buffs. What more could they possibly give her?
The buff didnt help the real problem which is the ridiculous amout of random stuff scattered around the map and the crazy amount of tiles you can't throw over. She definitely didn't need 7 hatches at vase but the faster wind up time is definitely welcome. The buffs really just made her stronger on the maps she's good at and get a few more hit that survivors would have made the corners on.

People forget Bloodlust is only a thing at all because there used to be infinites (and bloodlust was the temporary solution to those). Now that infinites aren’t a thing anymore, and especially since tiles & maps are much weaker—a trend we see continuing with each map update—I too believe bloodlust needs to be thoroughly examined.
I couldn’t care less about specific killers (like Legion or GF) unable to bloodlust down survivors, largely because the loops these survivors play on are much weaker than yesteryear anyway. And I think using m1 killers as a reason to justify busted mechanics that benefit killers (never see this logic applied to things for survivors) is a smokescreen for what people really mean but refuse to say: they want things that make the game easier for killers to remain in effect.
This is wrong kind of. BL was added because of loop strength the were so many loops that killers couldn't do anything about and were pretty much infinites but real infinites still existed and where infinites because you couldn't get BL at those loops you would lose site of the survivor and lose chase no matter how you ran the loop.
BL is still absolutely a necessary evil as BHVR hasn't figured out how to design maps. Either they are all full of way to many strong loops that chain the whole map together. Or the new design is a billion crappie loops that you drop and run because they are unsafe.

They're bad design IMO. They're only relevant at the very top level when both sides are equal, but in most normal games, they either help a Killer win more when they're already at an advantage therefore making below average squads have no chance of a comeback and they just get 4k'd at 4-5 gens, or they're completely useless against super SWFs that rush 4 gens before a Killer can even get a single hook anyway.
I feel like atot of people don't recognize this. Perks like PR and pop are win or perks. If I'm running around getting downs left and right do I really need regression? If I'm having a bad game or the survivors are on point is when regression is need. Imo ruin was still the healthiest regression.

Nah you just get crazy lag sometimes. I had a Sable wh9 was teleporting half the match

But these are not the olden days of the internet, and DBD is really the only multiplayer only game I play. Part of the reason for that is that I like playing games on my terms. One of my terms is not wasting time just waiting to play.
DBD is a game with a lot of warts, and one to the things that offsets that is that it's easy to just pick up and play.
If my wait time for each match is >/= to the length of the match itself, it ceases to be worth the trouble.
Yeah no I'm good on that. I have a life and a job so wait 30 minutes for a match isn't happening. I have so much more I could do with that wasted time or I can play a different game. Sure back when I was a kid and had all the time in the world to waste I didn't care.

Yup, I had an AHR map earlier where the side of the wall was missing and you could get out of the map.
There's also a bunch of spots where the visuals don't match the layout and you run into invisible walls. They definitely didn't iron out a few map bugs before they dropped it.

Idk what people expected in a 4v1 survivors don't do guns who thought that doubling that number would help. Now it's just twice as many people not doing gens minus all the fun parts. The biggest problem imo is you can't loop the killer in this game mode once your in a 2v1 the chase is pretty much over. Trying to 2v1 the killer was fun at first but the novelty has worn off and getting downed in 10 seconds no matter what I do has just got boring.

If the killer just got their ass handed to them during the game, I'll let them hook me. Many of them won't take the "pity hook" but I feel bad. As a killer, I've had those kind of games and they suck.
I'm on console so thankfully I don't have to deal with the EGC
I've noticed that alot of killers don't take pity hooks i feel like its a sense of pride. I find it kind of weird because I almost never see a survivor refuse hatch I does happen bit it's rare.

SB,OTR,Windows and the last perk is a toss up.

I see a lot of ppl say this about singu and im just curious if you're a controller or keyboard gamer? On pc I think he's great and interesting to play once you get the hang of using the cameras.
Playing him on controller is kinda of a pain. Trying to move your camera fast enough to hit survivors can be a real chore there's even times where you can't move it fast enough to track them.

Got some specific examples (what killer, perks, etc)?
There was a Trapper with agitation and iron grasp and unnerving, and an artist with corrupt,pr,dms, and bbq. Those are the only to I remember.

It’s been 3 weeks since End transmission has been live and i want to see everyone’s opinion about it.
for me, it was kinda overhyped.
only one of the new perks actually sees play (Made for This) and only 1 perk was truely positively received (troubleshooter).
The killer (while SLIGHTLY better now) feels atrocious to play, making a supposed map pressure + intel killer into a mediocre at best anti-loop because one EMP (which they can hold forever and wait until you infect them mind you) and your one tool of gen/map pressure is gone for 45 seconds.
the map is ridiculously cluddered and has some extreme RNG issue’s with how windows and tiles can spawn (imo), although, it is very pretty i can’t deny.
it feels like people kinda forced themselves to like the chapter because ToT came before or because the killer “looks cool”
The biggest problem with the killer(imo) is giving the survivors control of his power without a huge downside. The game is balanced around the killer having a power so if your going to take that away either the killer needs to get buffs during that phase or it has to be a big trade off. It's been a running trend with alot of killers lately and the funny part is nobody plays said killers. I would say plague is the best example of how to do it right. You can completely nullify her power and make her a basic m1 kill by not cleansing but that makes you injured and loud as a trade off.

You have to deal with not only killer FOV but you also soon have to deal with this 'fixed' bug where you're looking down after every hit. Come play survivor for the time being!
They changed nurses cooldown because it was so jarring that it caused people to have motion sickness and people still complain about it. What made then think adding it to all killers was a good idea?

Been going on for a while, just no one really talks about it.
I think because it's harder to notices because the killer is already faster then the survivor
