Don't know what your talking about for the que times, only time ice ever had it be a problem was during the Halloween event and after they updated their lobby system. I will say tho that id be rather happy if they could implement a punishment for depipers.
-
We simply push through all the bs this game has to offer. Than we cry

Honestly the perk only needs to affect how OTHER players heal you. Keep the current healing speed penalty for useing self care and add on a -25% for people healing you. This way players without the perk are not affected by it.

1. Just Because you escaped a chase does not mean you deserve anything, in fact this is a pretty good case of entitlement.Vietfox said:Selfcare: to be able to heal themselves they first need to escape from the chase, so they deserve it. Plus healing has been nerfed enough already.
DS: if it was truly op i would use it all the time, but i don't. Only when i got the daily of being chased for 2 minutes with X character so i can get it in a single match instead of 3. Seriously, there are many other perks which are better than DS.
Deliverance: in order to be able to use it you need to perform a safe rescue, if you get caught first it's a wasted perk slot so i would say it's a more than a fair trade off. Also, same way as DS, i don't like one time use perks, so i don't use Deliverance either.
Hatch: without it many survivors would hide for several minutes. When i play as a killer and we both find the hatch at the same time i just hit them so they can leave. 3K is good enough and i don't need to waste time on standoffs.
Cooldowns: as you said, they are needed. Who cares if survivors get cocky at the end of the match? Just push them out.
BT: a perk needed to counter camping. I would love to use something else, but experience forces me to run it.
Edit: No, survivors arent op.
2. DS is op, I actually find the reason most people don't use it is Because they either such at extending the chase after useing it or don't like the idea of not being able to use it at all, most of the time its both. Someone who is good with it will wait to use it when near a area they know they can waste a lot of the killers time, if this never happens they use it on their second or last hook depending on how the match is going.
3. Deliverance is meh, honestly don't know why the OP put it here as the survivor needs a save to use it and they can be one hit Because of no heals for a decent amount of time.
4. Again just Because you found the hatch does not mean you should get a free win, most killers let people go because they don't want a 20m waiting game. I'm over it by now because its kinda just how the game is but that does not make it ok.
Perks are not what make survivors OP (besides DS) its the amount of things they have at their disposal. Chases can be mindlessly extended by looping and is completely safe as long as you know what your doing, Getting hit to save others is no big deal with how easy it is to heal, there is nothing you can do about a survivor when they get near an open gate if you can't Insta down them, gens are easy to rush and as long as you and your team are not idiots you can get 3 far apart gens within 5m of a match. lastly is SWF but I'm pretty sure no explanation is needed for how it breaks the game. its not survivors are op, its that coordinated and focused survivors are op. You cant win a game against survivors that are good at extending the chase and are focused on doing gens.

Same, enless I'm playing a killer that I'm not use to like pig, spirit, or nurse than I usually get 2 or 3 kills. Only hard games I get nowadays are against a good swf group or when I'm playing at 3am(why do i do this to myself)SmokePotion said:There's a handful out their. I sit at rank 1-2, not trying. But every once in a while i come across people that i;m like "ok, they are just better then me."
-
His power when used right shortens chases by a good amount and can make loops and jungle gyms totally unsafe, forcing survivors to drop the pallet early. This is great but I think the reason he's not played a lot is simply because his power is boring and the only real skill is knowing where to throw his bottles; He also lacks map pressure. Still a good killer tho you can't run a good clown around for too long.

Religious killer when? I need to guide the poor souls to the light.Vietfox said:Every time i read your name i see "A Catholic Killer" -
Yea because after the 3rd hook you should get a perm Insta down

Again the perk is not ment to be a reliable Insta down and is instead used for punishing players that decide to go into lockers near you. Again there has to be a good reason for a 1 minute exposed effect and punishing any locker interaction with such a long timer, even if they is no arua reading involved, is absurd. I would also like to point out that any perk that needs another to be used fully is something the devs will not do, they will also not do a change like this Becuase lockers are a main game mechanic. Making lockers go heavily against players, more-so than hex perks, is something that again, they will not do. (Would also like to point out that yes, players from all ranks go into lockers more often than you would think) the perk does what its ment to do, punish locker interactions near the killer and get you to players that avoided you with lockers.HatCreature said:@AChaoticKiller said:
Didn't even read everything after you said buff the timer to 60 sec, if you really think you should be punished that harshly for just hiding in a locker than you clearly don't know how to make reasonable changes. First off the entire perk is very balanced for its activation requirment; Also its not ment to give you a free down once they get out of a locker when out of your TR. For every exposed perk or ability there is a requirment that's reasonable for a long exposed timer. MYC still gives you a chance to hide and has a reasonable activation for what it gives you. Devor hope requires at least 3 tokens and the relative totem to not be destroyed. Haunted grounds needs to be activated by a survivor and is a one time use. So by these activations we can clearly see that any perk with such an easy activation should not have a long exposed timer. The main purpose of this perk is simply searching lockers, punishing locker jukes, and survivors trying to switch lockers as you check them; and believe it or not, its very effective for those tasks.Oh the locker jukes, is that even effective? I never get those against me, I see it in videos all the time but I always thought it was just something stupid to do because they were going down anyway, they were always injured. Has locker juking become a real problem that it needs a perk to help?
Also thanks for not having faith in me, I was was trying to say that the Exposed takes away the uuse of the Aura reading for the rest of the match because no one uses lockers anymore. If the Exposed was gone then you would get Auras of Survivors every time you hook someone because they would still be using lockers to hide in because there is no Exposed feature. Or a reasonable 25 sec to Exposed is fine because then it has merit, you have a chance to USE the Exposed, instead of it being that tiny gasp for breath that you can't reach because it's gone by the time you get there. But if this is locker Jukes, then I can't find any real use for this perk at all now. You can force Mad Grit to work but you can't force a locker Juke. You can force someone to hide in a locker to escape BBQ but then ba it's gone for the rest of the match, wasted perk slot.
Sorry for long post but I like to make my points clearI in discussions. -

Pretty much what this game needs although I would not mind killers needing add-ons to be viable as long as you don't need red or purple ones to do so.ShyN3ko said:Killer want buffs, because they want play every killer.
But not every killer is "viable".
You need every time addons.
You need every time good perks.
You need every time a good killer.
Just a example:
Other games like Rainbow Six Siege.
Do you think the players would be happy, if some operators arent viable,
because the weapons and abiltiy are rly weak?.
No they wouldnt be happy. -
I don't think universal buffs for killers is nessesary but I strongly think all killers should at least be a little weaker than billy. There should be killers who are fun, but not trash when compared to other killers. So killers like freddy, legion, leather face, and trapper (IMO) need some slight buffs or changes to make them playable in high ranks cause god knows you can't against a good team of survivors.
Instead of universal buffs for killers, all the game needs for balance is a change to how the end game works. Currently if the gates are powered than the best you can get is a extra kill provided the survivors are not idiots. I think the devs also see this and that's why they are taking so god dame long to give us hatch changes and the new end game. When they do release the changes, I think we will see the best dbd can offer for its end game since they are obviously being careful and taking their time with whatever they're doing.
-
Maby for you guys. I only get bad frames when playing killers that already had bad frames, doc, nurse, wraith. What's weird is that I rarly get frame drops when getting bloodlust now compared to post patch, good thing btw.
-
A trigger like LT or RT
-
@Dreamnomad the devs are actually doing that last part you mentioned. In the last stream they talked about reducing the amount of hits needed on an already injured survivor from 4 to 3. However that's literally the only buff they mentioned.
-
I am praying the devs see this and add it to their to-do list.
-
That's why you do swf, I'm both a sweaty try hard killer and solo survivor. While what you say is true almost nothing can be done about it since the match making system puts you together with other players of similar rank. regardless of their skill.
-
I know a lot of people will disagree with me but I hope they do add a secondary objective again, just something that's not as easy to get in the beginning. Think of it like an objective that activates as the trial progresses so people can't just rush farm them then die. My idea would be that they spawn at the beginning of a match but are inactive and once a gen gets done one of the event objectives become active, you would also get to know which one will activate next if you see the one that will get activated. As with the previous event you start with 2 and can get more with offerings. The way to stop the suicides is simple. The last gens are the ones that activate the event objectives, so if only two are in a match then the last 2 gens will activate them. If there are 5 then every gen will activate one, any extra event objectives get activated after the last gen so when the exit gates are powered there can be 3 activated at once.

Yea... You have not played him against good survivors if you think that. Sure it's easy to hit them with frenzy IF you have more than half a bar and there is no pallets around, and if they don't got ANY exhaustion perk but having to wait that long, hitting a survivor 4 times, and then suffering a nurse stun is not time efficient. Doing this which I have tried, is one of the worst ways to play him enless you can afford to use the best add-ons that damage the DW timer, but even then chases are still too long.HarshOnion44 said:

And the idea of a top-tier Killer is apparently horrifying to some people. God forbid high ranks have some variety.

Its not that good imo, sure you will be hidden but it only has 3 uses. Running bbq, nurses, bitter mirmor, or any arua revealing add-on can quickly use up their tokens on that perk. Some killers don't even use any arua reading perks so the perk goes to waste and some will shred that perk like Freddy, huntress, and myers, with add-ons.Malakir said:

I always loved playing stealthy, I don’t like being chased. Every Survivor should be running Distortion and utilizing lockers.
These mechanics give me faith they actually care about the stealth player’s quality of life.
I play stealthy too but this isn't the way to do it. Urban evasion, dance with me, iron will these are fine but give a free aura counter that you don't even have to use your brain it's dumb, ESPECIALLY when you can already do it without it, it's just overkill
It pisses me off that they give me a perk that makes dance with me trash compared since it's an anti aura reading with dance with me built in it -

The main problem with him is just the fact that he has no real way of finishing a chase. Sure the first hit is free but the deep wounds rarely down people out of chase and trying to get 3 or 4 hits is not time efficient nor is chasing survivors with 110% speed. I find that the only way to make his power reliable to finish the chase is to have the best add-ons that do damage to the DW timer, but even then that's sometimes not good enough.

No because having to work 20 seconds in a gen is boring when you add it to the already 80 second repair time.
-
Where can I find the legion changes?
-
This is so sad, can we get some lols in chat.
-
I usually use a mori if I'm bored, pissed at a previous match, or if I see someone that's on my mori list for being toxic. If your on my list then your screwed as I got plenty of mori's to spare on my billy.
-
I actually like the DS rework but for real noed its fine. The perk can be destroyed before you hit anyone or even before its activated, point being there's counter play. DS is not like that, as a killer there is no counter play and the perk itself is extremely rewarding. What's funny is that noed was actually nerfed because they got rid of the missed attack cool down but made the exposed effect go on lvl 1 and 2, but really all this does is it made the perk more common. This does not call for a nerf or rework, if you think the killer has it than go get the totems their very easy to find.
-
Lol if you want the perk on other characters than get the teachable. Actually even better, just play Claudette or bring a medkite, it's really not that hard to heal. No need to buff survivors by giving them a free perk might as well give all killers a default NOED or nurses calling.
-
What's wrong is that after a few games of getting 1 to no kills the killer itself becomes frustrating to play and in a game like dbd this will result in the killer being rarly played dispit having a fun power.
-
I play both sides almost 50/50 but I put most of my BP into killers since I already got a p3 meg with all perks. Imo its just more fun to play killer but due to a lot of people being a-holes if you kill them it gets very tiring.
-
I disagree with being able to down survivors with frenzy but that's it, all the other changes feel pretty fair.
-
Most of the time i see people saying they hit a survivor with frenzy in tell they get downed at this I facepalm. The best way to down is to hit them with frenzy along with anyone nearby then at the guy your going to chase you hit them to apply deep wounds then get behind them and cancel frenzy to give less time to get away so you can m1 them.
-
I encountered these people before with my billy. They ran from me and when I pulled out my saw they tried to 360... Every time. Since I got my sensitivity at 100% I got them each time they did it. They later called me out for useing billy in rank 1 and how I was a horrible at the game Because I could only play billy. I invited them to a kyf with two other randoms and got a 4k with hag. This was about a month or two ago.
-
I was talking about your style of play not use these anytime you want to play him. Also if you can't find a survivor after a two second stun that's on you and maby you should not play a killer that has to track survivors without scratch marks at times, use blood and grunts of pain to track, you can track by blood right? That two second stun is not enough time to hide or get away so even without scratch marks its every easy to find them when they are just a few seconds from you. Lastly no sh*t you should play billy instead of him he's a better killer overall. If you don't want to play a killer who is obviously mid tier and requires a different style of play then by all means go play billy.RSB said:@AChaoticKiller said:

@AChaoticKiller said: @The_Crusader exactly, I also see people hiting a survivor twice with his power after the first hit which is something you should not do. What you need to do is cancel the power and deal with the stun otherwise you have to deal with giving them a sprint burst after the hit then suffer two stuns, the weapon wipe and the frenzy stun. I still think that deep wounds affect should be looked at as its very underwhelming. But with only one hit the bleed out timer is so huge that the survivor won't get downed anyway, because he has to much time to "mend" himself. But that mend takes time, and if they decide to heal up after that takes even longer. I get that people feel deep wound is underwhelming but imagine for a second if it was easy to get them to bleed out to dying status. With how quick this guy can dash around and hit everyone, he'd be hands down the best slugger in the game. That's why the timer is huge. The devs don't want a load of slugging ahain either so I think he's like pig. Their powers aren't meant to kill/down, just to get survivors wasting time or walking around injured.
There is potential in him. When used well I've seen some games slow right down as so much time is spent healing. Sure he cant hook as fast as other killers but it balances out if he keeps survivors off gens long enough. So their power is meant to "waste survivors' time", okay. What's the point in wasting their time, when you can't down them, because you move at 110% MS?
You hit everyone near you and on your last target after you apply deal wounds you get close to them and cancel it so you don't give them a speed boost and so you don't suffer two stuns. You don't lose that much distance try it yourself.
Yes, I hit everyone (max 2 people if I'm extremaly lucky, because no survivor with half of a brain will stick close to a Legion), I chase the first/second guy with my 110% MS, He tries to loop, I use Frenzy, he drops pallet, peekaboo, pal, I jump over the pallet with a kind smile on my face, then cancel the Frenzy...Ooh? What's that? A stun? The survivor is using my stun to run to the otherside ot the pallet? What now, master? What's my secret power as a Legion?
First why the f*** are you doing that? You need to break the pallet and use his power to get major distance if the survivor gets too far. If you want use frenzy the way you are you either need to use the ultra rare add-on that breaks pallets when you valt them (when it works) or use the two very rare add-ons that reduce the DW timer and that increase Damage to the DW timer, those add-ons make it so three hits with frenzy down people. I'm no master but I can use some common sense to get a grasp at his play style.
You say you can use common sense, right? So then use it, smartguy, and tell me who has specific purple addons everytime they want to play a specific killer? And tell me - how do we call a killer that is playable only when using the best addons?
The second thing - Frenzy should be used to catch upto the survivors? Tell that to the Claudette running around the corners in Lery's, and you do not see her scratchmarks plus after the end of the sprint you are stunned and the surv has more time to run/hide.
Third thing - he should be used to break the pallets? So... Why should I use him, when I can use Billy, who is 115%MS and has a lot better ability with sprint? Or even the Spirit?
PS. Don't be so angry when you are not right.

I think your overreacting mate, also those 3 tokens can be easily wasted by all the perks and add-ons for killers. As I see it the only perk I might use out of all of them is aftercare since I'm a solo player and I want someone to feel like they have to protect me.
-
Also this killer sucks at sluging Because of how easy it is the mend to stop the timer and to down people effectively you need to get the second hit normally with 110% speed so the idea fails right there.
-
Well the idea is good on paper, its unnessary. Its already very easy to keep track of people due to them not getting any distance after a hit. You should also only go for the last guy in your chain so useing those perks for going after others is not a good play style. Of keep sloppy butcher on tho as its very easy to hit anyone near you to find others so that perk gets a lot of use for him.
-
@Wolf74 the bleedout timer is a joke and only serves to waste time. You can stop it by mending and you don't need anything to preform mending. Its like the pigs RBT in that it serves to waste time. If the devs make it so that deep wounds timer only stops in a chase then id say hit a survivor multiple times but in tell then its smarter to hit all survivors near you once with frenzy then cancel frenzy when your behind the last guy you have hit in your chain so you can down him for a hook.
-

Would not work besides killers don't have the TIME to waste saboing 20 pallets in the end it will just help survivors by giving them more time to work on gens.

That would be my main build XDChesterTheMolester said:I wanna stack 3 sound reducers on Billy and run that with Tinkerer and Monitor and Abuse.

Well while I understand what your saying, I think you might want to edit in a short and simple version of your post. Back on topic I really don't think anyone would actually want this as this offering would just be annoying. There is a reason why you can chose your side. This would also be highly exploitable since you can equip bad perks on purpose and waste the killers add-ons that they wanted to use. If anything this would just make the entire player base even more toxic especially when this offering comes into play due to the amount of trolling it can do.
Edit: almost forgot that this would be easy as hell to be used as farming since you don't need to be in a swf group to inv random players to a chat(example Xbox party invites) so this would just not work in dbd as it again would be too exploitable. -
@powerbats I was going to write a long post on why she's good but I got a better idea. Here's a video made by a post buff hag main who was known on steam as the best hag main. While it is outdated the trap mechanics are not so the tricks he shows you still work since the devs only changed values. In his newer video he does not go over them again because again no real changes. I recommend a good mix of trap types like C flicks and simple pallet deny traps.

It would be nice if every now and then they post stats for each killer like escape rates and kills. I would also like to see separate data for swf groups since going against them and being in one really affects gameplay.

Cool idea won't work enless they make gates lose progress, otherwise people will just 99% a gate then go for the save.
