Winter event next week

So.. is going to be next week..
Just dont do the same error again devs, the last event was the worst(halloween), dont add more things to do and dont make the "if u die u keep a bit of the..(pieces of snow idk lol)"
Or everyone will suicide istantly.

Btw i hope to see something like the last event as reward( i mean the part when u can choose what to get)

The old theme and the christmas lights from the last christmas are appreciated(better than nothing)

    we could have christmas trees as a secondary objective, and its like making presents or opening presents and killer is making/opening presents

    Been playing the Overwatch winter event atm, the DBD one is next week?
    Thought they didn't say when it was yet, at least it's something to look forward to next week then :)

    I like concept of new objective but for me

    I like different things to do I dislike gen sim... survivors need more to do anyways.... it was nice not having gens pop left and right after you complete a chase... the thing that needed adjusting was the time you spent on the plant if it were a bit faster it would have been better

    5 gens,5 totem, chests, and in solo is very hard/impossible to survive, and u want more to do. Well

    I would be fine with doing more stuff if they also gave killers more stuff to do rather than just using certain hooks

    How exciting. Hopefully I can do the event on survivor :/ 
    Since I can't play killer with the new update cause of all the goddamn fps losses and lag

    I know a lot of people will disagree with me but I hope they do add a secondary objective again, just something that's not as easy to get in the beginning. Think of it like an objective that activates as the trial progresses so people can't just rush farm them then die. My idea would be that they spawn at the beginning of a match but are inactive and once a gen gets done one of the event objectives become active, you would also get to know which one will activate next if you see the one that will get activated. As with the previous event you start with 2 and can get more with offerings. The way to stop the suicides is simple. The last gens are the ones that activate the event objectives, so if only two are in a match then the last 2 gens will activate them. If there are 5 then every gen will activate one, any extra event objectives get activated after the last gen so when the exit gates are powered there can be 3 activated at once.

    Thank you ;-; it's just frustrating that they just slapped it on the servers after many people already complained about performance issues on the ptb. (If it was just a minor problem I wouldn't even mind but its literally unplayable as killer for me lol)
    But still interested to see how the event will work, the base idea of a secondary goal was not bad, just not really optimized for actual gameplay.

    Ooo Christmas presents under trees but each one has a gift for one survivor at a time while the killer earns points by chopping down the tree (gifts are immune to the destruction meaning both have a secondary objective

    Also, aside from the banner, there is no other evifdence, such as offerings to burn, like the envelopes, or petals.
    I reckon blood point modifier time. Unless there's more in the files we've not seen yet?

    Next event better not be 1 sided in terms of bp gain. Survivors could not gather the nectar once they had it all which means they'd have to rely on others collecting if they burned the offering. Meanwhile a killer could keep getting the BP no matter what. Stupid as hell

    To think it could have easily been fixed by just letting survivors farm the plant but if their vial was already full then they wouldn't gain any more nectar and the plant wouldn't die. Anyways let's just forget about this past event and hope that if there is a new event that it'll be better thought out for both sides

    Any new events will probably be done this way rather than the old way of just finding a generator.

    So, one small problem and its suddenly "the worst event yet". Just because of how amazingly designed it was, in terms of interesting mechanics, amazing rewards and fun factor, it already makes it better than any previously implemented event, even with the seppuku happening.
    Thats what I was mocking.

    The thing I liked about the Halloween event was that nobody really got salty if the died or lost as long as they got the event secondary objective because they gave you enough bloodpoints to compensate the loss so I hope they make the Christmas sweaters the rewards and you pick the character sweater you want
