1 survivor wasting time is NOT the same as 2 survivors wasting time. In 100% of all scenarios, survivors saving their med kits is always worth it since instaheals can break through slowdown and is passive
Specifically speaking for syringes, yes that's entirely true. For base, regular medkits though it has it's upsides.

You're assuming they're running from one corner of the map to the other when that's not usually how the game works. If there's a gen by their item then it's convenient, if the item is by the hook then it's convenient, if another survivor picks it up and uses it then it's convenient. You know what else wastes even more time? Survivors because forced to heal each other because their items don't have anymore charges
Yes I am speaking for such scenario, if a survivor gets hit in a dead zone they risk putting themselves in a bad spot just to get their item while wasting time. If they got hit near an objective, you now have 2 things to guard in one area. (Old Franklins they wouldn't even bother going for their item)
1 survivor wasting some time is the same as 2 survivors wasting a little time.

No, its a nerf. Losing a medkit with a syringe, for example, is a pretty substantial outcome. And if the item doesn't have any value, the survivors aren't going to go back for it.
And unless the item gets dropped really out of the way, the survivor can just pick it up on the way to a gen.
Is it still usable? Yeah, it still has value, I don't think its dead, but let's not overstate things. We don't need to repeat the MFT silliness just on the other side when people where arguing a nerf was a secret buff.
That's true but I am mostly speaking for that such scenario, if a survivor say got hit by a Gen and that Gen got finished later on then they'd need to run to an already completed generator then run back.
I wouldn't particularly call it a nerf though. While it's potentially a bigger nerf, it still got 'buffed' in some certain niche scenarios which would in turn make it more of a rework. MFT was a more direct nerf as it didn't gain any new benefit.

@UsherGod said:
Without the fear of an item fully depleting, they can just go back for it at their leisure. The time survivors save by healing themselves multiple times heavily outweighs time spent running to their kit
"The survivors can just go back for it at their leisure" you do realize that's wasting time, right? Running across the map for an item instead of just doing gens?

I remember there were actually people saying this when they first nerfed Mettle of Man...
Im not exactly sure where but im pretty sure somewhere it does state that what you buy can be changed or altered by bhvr and whatnot, so

I believe this achievement was changed to only require doing this once instead of 30 times as it was worded poorly and complained about before.
^Yeah pretty sure this is the case

you're welcome man
-
Hmm you drive a hard bargain..
-
That survivor perk is actually really cool, im a fan. Although id personally love to see that effect added to Camaraderie as that perk has felt bad to use since its release..
All in all nice ideas! -

Is that confirmed? Maybe I missed it
Just a banner or badge would be so disappointing. IMO people would like the bloody cosmetic for the killer but with a recolor of the blood like black , gold, or silver, something thing like that. Makes it unique to show off and easy for them to do since it’s just a recolor.
That's true I wouldnt be surprised if its something like the deep-rift blue bloody clothes, but i personally would love a banner and badge for p100.
-
Hag by miles, though ive actually only seen new Freddy once since his rework.

An endgame killer.
We didn't have one since OG Pig.
Another type of killer would be one where you have a new objective alongside gens to open the Exit Gates.
And last but not least, a new stealth killer.
Same I would love an endgame killer power, I love running endgame builds they would easily be my new favorite.
Id also kinda consider OG Freddy an endgame killer, -50% gate speed if they were asleep + remember me. (plus BHVR released him with 3 perks focused on endgame)
Current freddy with full endgame + class photo/pills is a monster at endgame as well -
it's a few seconds long just watch subway surfers or something
-
I see no reason for it to go back to 2mil tbh, especially with the bulk-buy system getting introduced.
I do like their idea of increasing it during events like this where the BP gain is drastically increased otherwise you would play like 3 matches and be at the cap. -
I know people want some kind of cosmetic but P100 already has a 'reward', it's being able to consistently obtain ultra rares and very rares every single bloodweb as it resets to the level 50 bloodweb everytime.
Though I personally would like to see a badge/banner of the character you got to P100 :P -
@ohheyitsbobcat said:
I'd be down for getting P9 since that's the last rewarded prestige but god no for lvl100. We already have some grindy ones and I'd rather not have anymore of that caliber. The fact they had escape RPD by opening the door 20 times last chapter was already bad enough. :/
Well, the 'Prestige III-50" achievement was there because that was the highest possible character level you could achieve. Since it doesn't have that purpose anymore, it would naturally be replaced by achieve Prestige 100 as that is now the highest character level possible.
If it did get replaced, everyone who had "Prestige III-50" would auto obtain the Prestige 100 one.
Plus with the incentives for matchmaking and the lower bloodweb cost it doesnt take much time to prestige anymore. The grind for the achievement would only affect players striving to 100% them. This could easily naturally be obtained by going for the other achievements and prestiging your character in between matches.
Prestiging a character to 100 is a feat that should be rewarded with an achievement at least.

It's handy on killers like Billy, Blight, Wesker, who need to make really tight turns quickly so they dont have to drag their mouse across the room.
-
used to only play Ash and now I kinda play both Ash and Mikaela
i like ash vs evil dead so i play Ash and i look at Mikaela and i go AWOOGA!!!
-
I personally really like the killer, survivor, map, and I think both the survivor and killer have strong perks. Seems like a fantastic chapter.
-
Wesker has valuable chase protentional along with using the bounds for mobility. The Infection isn't supposed to do much, it's merely a way to incorporate game slowdown built into his kit.
Same thing as Legion basically, while it's entirely possible to go down to Deep Wounds if you arent paying attention, it's really there so survivors have to waste time mending to slow the game down.
-
If you can't ever win with 0 perks then that shows something about the game. There are many killers who dont use any perks or addons and still do well, but everything depends on the killer in question along with the survivor's skills and of course the map being played on.

a non prime user's opinion:
had prime ever since early 2018, nice try though!
-
wish i knew, ever since they got added in they've only been available for survivor for me.
I dont particularly mind it, but it's kinda weird. Have never seen it appear on killer yet.
-
It completely baffles me that people are upset about this. 400k is around 8 survivor games for free, WITH incentives included.
Most games on prime rewards give you jack #########, 400k is a very generous amount. Id personally even take 100k as it's free, so whats the harm?
stop whining, if you want a bunch of bloodpoints then play the game.

I've never touched either of these perks during my time playing DbD. Is it successful enough most of the time to replace Deliverance?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3182586#Comment_3182586
I've seen people do some wacky things with Hope, mostly duo plays. I still need to level up Yoichi for his stuff. Is PG good?
late response, but slippery meat + up the ante is a little more than 15%, adding a luck offering would make it near 20% with 6 attempts.
having 6 tries at a 20% chance is really good although dilverance got big buffed as its near impossible to NOT get a safe hook now

Yah I think it's a poor design choice, I'd like to hear the reasoning behind the decision.
In my opinion, he should just have a lullaby like Huntress and Trickster to indicate he's moving toward you - the giant terror radius seems so pointless.
I really don't even get why he has it in the first place. Even if he did have a lullaby, why doesn't Blight who can navigate way quicker? I just don't see the point of it all.
-
aye Yakuza 0 (on gamepass) goes crazy
Good story, lotta cutscenes, but got damn the music and combat go hard. (same with the rest of the series)
-
nothing beats good ol' slippery meat + up the ante
a classic old as time itself
-
So many people have p3, its fairly easy to grind for so the reward shouldnt be anything big. If for some reason it was it would barely matter because hundreds of thousands of people would get it too.
Really a big bloodpoint bonus would be nice. Something like 1mil for every p3 character considering it takes around 4-5million to get to that point. Shards would be cool too.
-
Hopefully, but its probably gonna be a lame charm.
-
when i play killer theres always that 1 console survivor who swaps to a flashlight at 6 seconds and they never even try to use it a single time i never understand it.
then when i play survivor everyone readies up after like 5 sceonds of joining the lobby lol

Petty doesn't mean what you think it means.
The word you're looking for is "cynical".
nah i know what it means it was just the closest thing i could think of when i was typing it out
-
Ngl expecting people to complain about a status effect that shouldnt affect you that much anyways is a little petty
-
yknow i was thinking like "i dont remember this being a problem for me" but now that i think about it, i think everytime i load into autohaven its followed by me tilting my monitor down so i can see a little better
-
I personally always wished there was a mini pop goes the weasel base kit.
Like any time you damage a gen it should reduce it by 5% or 10% then start to regress.
-
noed gets nerfed with every survivor totem perk (including boons since they overtake NOED because it isnt a dull totem anymore)
not to mention you dont need any perks whatsoever to just deactivate the damn thing
-

Blast mine. A lot of people sleep on this perk and underrate the highlighted gen effect.
yess i was using it for the stun the killer challenges and i found a lot of use with just using it to show the gen to team mates

Hatch isn't counted as a "win" so your MMR doesn't change for hatch escapes.
so only gate escapes are counted as a win? Then are hatch escapes counted as a "tie" in the game?
-
Ive gotten multiple double pips with giving the last survivor hatch so it doesnt really affect me.
I typically only give hatch though if theyre a good survivor so their mmr goes up, and if i dont need the hook for a challenge or something.

Not noticeable for me to mind tho. Never noticed any difference between my prestiged and non prestiged characters.
Might as well be an urban legend. I wouldn't mind change like that yeah.
I dont know the exact percentages of the increases but i personally notice a lot more purples in my bloodwebs than normal even on prestige 1 and 2. The only thing id want from prestige is increases these percentages but also making it so commons you sometimes want appear often aswell.
-
@Shaped said:
Anything as long as it stays cosmetic. With grind as it is I don't want to be forced to p3 for benefits.
Well prestiging already gives non-cosmetic benefits. It gives a slightly higher chance of getting higher tier stuff in your bloodweb.

If it follows past patterns which is 3 weeks from the PTB then it would be on the 26th. But it has not been officially confirmed as of yet.
damn when'd that happen? It used to always be 2 weeks after the PTB so i was assuming itd be tomorrow :/

Wouldve picked Dating Sim, but its already been leaked to happen

its only dbd and league for me 😞 (but i recently finished all the yakuza games)

-Nurse fundamentally ignores the laws of the game, so yeah.
-Blight's fine but literally every meta perk is good or great on him and his addons are literally the strongest in the game
everytime i think about how strong addons are i think back to the legion addon that reduces fatigue duration by 0.2 seconds ðŸ˜
-
i usually just do counterforce, eventually being able to cleanse every totem and doing it really fast helps.
You dont really need much else, boldness is already easy enough to fill without it.

Why is there no "Worse" option? She's the most balanced/well-designed killer in the game, and my personal favorite to versus. Blight (a relatively common pick) is my second-favorite to versus, so it's not like it was too bad, but I still missed playing versus her.
^
nurse is imo by far the most fun to verse, most people that say nurse is so unfun to go against are just mad they cant hold w to win for free

@Pulsar said:
- Bubba's ability to force a 2K+ needs to be addressed, as does his ability to facecamp.
- No.
- Yes, Nurse is OP, but no.
- Absolutely not.
- Yes.
He does not force a 2k, if you run in to try to save the survivor getting face camped you yourself are the reason it became a 2k. Otherwise, he can only force a single kill by doing so.
