It completely baffles me that people are upset about this. 400k is around 8 survivor games for free, WITH incentives included.
Most games on prime rewards give you jack #########, 400k is a very generous amount. Id personally even take 100k as it's free, so whats the harm?
stop whining, if you want a bunch of bloodpoints then play the game.

It doesn't matter if one person can only block ten people. What matters is if a ton of people block one specific person.
that means they have a valid reason to be blocked. You dont block people who are not doing anything wrong. If you get blocked often it means you throw, are a hacker or very toxic. Setting a cap will ultimately prevent people from blocking too many people so the queuetimes wont be affected except for the the individuals listed above.

According to the article, they absolutely will because matchmaking will take so long that the player will eventually be forced to matchmake with people way worse than them.
You can put a cap on the amount of people you can block (as long as its either a vpn block or a hardware block) so hackers will have a harder time yet queuetimes wont be as affected.

I meant the OG block. You are talking about the avoid system. That could definitely work here if they limited the number, as Overwatch does. I would be fine with that, I suppose.
thing is, if you can only block X amount of accounts it would have to be IP banned since otherwise hackers will just get their other accounts.

You might not mind, but the person who gets blocked by too many people for playing too well certain will.
https://www.eurogamer.net/overwatch-will-remove-the-avoid-this-player-option
And those people wont be matches with them anyways if they can't keep up with their skills. This really wont matter other than people eventually cockblocking themselves from their own matches. Again, a person can block 10 people. Those 10 people wont notice being blocked by 1 person but that 1 person will have longer queuetimes because they blocked 10 people.
People will only screw themselves over.

Nah, toO exploitable for the reasons you stated. Idea is not even good enough to be dead on arrival... Unless you are Overwatch developers. Those fools actually tried it for about a week before going, "oh, so that is why no competent developer has ever done this?"
I play overwatch and its literally the best feature in the game. Even if you put a max amount on blocks, it will be better.

This would just be abused to block players that beat you or people that don't play the way others want them to (i.e. a survivor that that waits for you to die on your last hook so they can find hatch instead of trading and both of you dieing).
Then they get large queuetimes. That's on the players as I mentioned. Unless that is your way you want to use it, they will only screw themselves over. A person can block 10 people. those 10 people wont notice that 1 person block, but the 1 person blocking 10 people will have longer queuetimes.

It's the most quick fix to the cheater problem you currently can have. Imagine the amount of account a person will need to have. Even if they buy accounts from others who have gotten the game through epic back when it was free, it will cost them about $20-$30 if they want to do this. You could even make it so that people block certain IP's as well, so you can choose between an IP or a normal block so they wont even get the chance to go onto another account to bother streamers (or other players) unless they use a vpn (but then you have the normal block option.) This would also help to remove toxicity from the game since they will get less matches and are forced to change their ways or acept long queue times.
There. I fixed your cheater problem. Screw your arms race. If you're weak you have to fight with your brain, not your fists.

That's intended by BHVR.
Deep Wounds lasts 20s instead of 10s solely because Doctor's Madness trumps over Mending.
It's by design that you have just enough time to pull off a mend.
Yeah it didnt let me mend in the video so I just died

Had it happen today in a 1 vs 1 with a big trying to get dwight up. He was running WGLF and I just the most busted vault ever and thought the dwight was a hacker and changed my vault speed lol. Just ended up letting pig kill me because she would have gotten me.

As a Detective Tapp who was just facecamped by the killer, i wasn't able to use any of the proper nouns to talk to my teammates after the match.
Seriously.
This is an M rated game.
Get rid of this stupid chat filter already.
''Hammie'' (my name) is often censored....

My personal opinion is that you have not done enough in the match to earn a pip - depipping is completely fine.
Yes being camped and your team mates not helping can suck, but that's generally considered to be part of the game and there are perks to help with that - Borrowed Time for example.
(and I'm speaking from a position where I get hard camped and mori'd a lot!)
In my opinion Killers in a 5m radius of the hook (or a little bigger maybe) should just not get a pip if they are there for too long. If someone wants to facecamp the first person they down in a match, there is not much you can do about it (since looping a killer for 5 gens is unrealistic) but it rewards the killer with a pip if they get 1-2 people. A few other ways to handle this is blocking the usage of primary and secondary fire if too close around a hook for a long period of time without being in chase with another survivor (and have a little cooldown once they do enter a chase so he cant instantly use it.) or just have them get less bloodpoints for it. Facecamping is already a bad strat, but it also removes the fun of most people you play against.

I have prestiege 3'd both Mikeala and Nurse, and I would suggest to get all teachables first, or atleast for your unlocked characters and THEN prestiege 3 your main. Your main will probably have your main perks, so only prestiege them after you have the max amount of bloodpoints so you can level them up to roughly lvl 35-40 so you have some lvl 3 perks to start with again.
