I wanted to try a power struggle build, but every time I was down on a pellet, killer just picked me up from the last pixel of my character and dragged me away. Scott Jund fixed 20 of the worst unused Perks in the game in several hours with his brain and community chat. Fixing the forgotten Perks that nobody uses seems like the obvious way to mix up metas and keep the game fresh. so in today’s 10.0.3 patch, Jason got a buff that removed his anti-camp jump scare penalty if it’s on a different floor than the hooked survivor. Does that mean if a survivor is hooked under a 2nd floor window (like the one at mid map RPD or the hook in Main room on Lery’s) Jason can just tp to the window above them and get 0 anti-camp penalties? The mode was one of the most balanced mode for both sided both sides having to rely on there eyes ears and instincts to get things done and to escape or kill. Bloodlust as a whole is completely necessary to the game. Although I didn't play back then, the game was absolutely busted without it. Bloodlust 1 is absolutely necessary, Bloodlust 2 is still necessary as there are certain play styles, loops, or just giving the survivor a timer that they need to reset with a pallet drop is needed. Just had a kaneki slug me in a 2v1 scenario to garantee the 4k, I wasnt even dead on hook but they really wanted to secure it. Imagine a killer who's an underground monster that burrows like a mole to catch you. He could emerge from the ground to attack the survivors in one hit. mainly because there are a lot of add-ons in DBD on both the survivor and killer end that are part of an outdated design for add-ons where higher rarity add-ons just do higher stat boost than lower rarity add-ons. I think the biggest examples of this outdated form of designing add-ons is with Trapper, Hag, and Flashlights. A killer who’s kit is based around having to look up! A balanced killer who has counter play but enough variability that being countered doesnt make the killer useless - fun to play as and against! Now that we have Five Moves Ahead, it only makes sense to rework Windows of Opportunity. Perks doing the exact same thing with a few extra steps, is ridiculous. Change its name if you have to. I'm not sure if this is possible with however dbd is setup, which is why i'm asking, but would it be possible to give users the ability to turn off certain effects in game that may potentially cause a seizure? For example, I have to DC out of every single Onryo match due to her static effects causing me seizures. Hello, I have recently learned that apparently the diminishing returns update is not applying to the luck stat. This means you can still use slippery meat alongside up the ante and luck offerings to jump off the hook repeatedly on your first hook if all 4 survivors bring this. Right now when you press tab (on PC), it brings up an info list of all the players in the match, their ping, and the survivor's perks when on the survivor side. The addition of survivor perks there is a huge change, however it's clunky to check your teammate's perks in practice, and because of this I think a lot of survivor's don't really check it. TLDR: Unreal Engine already has built in replay technology that Behaviour could use to create a simple DBD replay system, making it much easier to report cheating, teaming, bugs and exploits. The Hatch is a incredibly weird, and RNG based mechanic. A lot of the times, it boils down to the last survivor randomly getting it/tbagging on it or it boils down to the killer closing it and going into normal endgame, which unless you are on the RPD map as a low mobility killer, the killer is winning.
