Chapter Concept: The Black Banquet (As an actual killer/survivor chapter)
Chapter Theme
A feast prepared in darkness. A survivor who escaped the kitchen. A chef who believes his masterpiece is incomplete.
The Black Banquet introduces two characters connected by a shared history: a gifted chef whose obsession with perfection turned monstrous, and the assistant who discovered the horrifying truth behind his creations.
The Entity did not create their connection.
It preserved it.

Biography
Elise Moreau dreamed of becoming a chef.
When she was offered a position as an assistant under the world-renowned chef Maurice Pépin, she believed she had found the opportunity of a lifetime.
Maurice was brilliant.
His dishes were praised as masterpieces. Critics called his cooking revolutionary. His restaurant became famous for creating experiences guests would never forget.
But Elise slowly began noticing things that did not make sense.
Employees disappeared without explanation.
Suppliers delivered ingredients that were never recorded.
The chef became increasingly secretive about his "special preparations."
Eventually, Elise discovered the truth.
The restaurant's greatest dishes were not made from rare ingredients.
They were made from people.
When Maurice discovered that Elise knew, he did not silence her.
Instead, he became fascinated.
She was the only person who had seen the truth and survived.
To Maurice, she was not a problem.
She was his greatest creation.
When the Entity claimed them both, Maurice entered the Fog as a monster.
Elise entered it knowing exactly what kind of monster was hunting her.

You learned the rituals behind your captor's twisted creations and turned them into a means of survival.
After cleansing a Totem, gain an Ingredient.
You can only carry one Ingredient at a time.
While injured, consume your Ingredient and gain one random effect:
Haste
Gain a burst of movement speed for a short duration.
Invisible
Your character model, Scratch Marks, and Pools of Blood are hidden for a short duration.
Endurance
Resist the next damaging attack.
(If you enter the dying state, your Ingredient is lost.)
Obsessive Sycophant"The chef always needed someone who understood his art."
Your connection to the Killer allows you to redirect their obsession.
When you unhook the Obsession, you become the new Obsession.
The previous Obsession loses the Obsession status.
You and the previous Obsession gain Elusive for a time.
Has long cooldown.
Idiot Sandwich"Everyone makes mistakes. The important thing is surviving them."
You learned that mistakes in the kitchen could be deadly.
After being interrupted by the Killer while repairing, cleansing, blessing, or healing, you have a short window to escape.
If you are injured by the Killer during this time, gain Elusive for a short time.

Killer OverviewMaurice Pépin was a culinary genius who believed perfection required sacrifice.
To him, cooking was not about feeding people.
It was about creating something unforgettable.
The Black Banquet was his greatest creation.
A feast where every ingredient, every preparation, and every guest had a purpose.
The Entity saw his obsession and gave him a new kitchen.
A place where the feast never ends.
Killer PowerThe Black BanquetThe Chef has transformed the trial into his personal kitchen.
Throughout the map, the Entity creates Serving Carts that serves Maurice's dishes and spread his toxic influence.
Serving CartsServing Carts spawn throughout the trial.
They function similarly to Control Stations, TVs, or Jigsaw Boxes.
Each Serving Cart has a large influence radius.
Active carts spread the Chef's poison throughout their area.
The combined influence of all carts can cover a large portion of the map, but gaps remain between their zones.
Poisoned AreasWithin the influence of an active Serving Cart:
Certain objects become affected by Maurice toxic influence.
- Vaults and pallets become Poisoned.
The Chef benefits from survivors who ignore the banquet.
Dismantling Serving CartsSurvivors can dismantle Serving Carts.
Dismantling a cart:
- Removes that cart's influence.
- Prevents it from contributing to the Final Course.
- Creates a temporary safe area.
However, interacting with the cart exposes the survivor to the Chef's poison.
The survivor becomes Poisoned for a time.
While Poisoned:
- A stamina meter appears and drains fast while running and vaulting.
- The Black Banquet's Anniversary event effects apply.
The Chef can repair dismantled Serving Carts.
Repairing requires time, forcing Maurice to temporarily abandon his hunt.
Survivors can use this opportunity to create distance or complete objectives.
The Three CoursesThe Black Banquet progresses throughout the trial.
First Course: PreparationAt the beginning of the trial, the Chef prepares his kitchen.
Serving Carts toxic influence spread throughout the map contaminating pallets and vaults around them.
Main Course: The Feast BeginsAs the trial progresses, the Chef's preparation becomes stronger.
Poisoned areas become larger.
The Chef gets an auditory and visual queue when survivors are within the carts areas of effect.
Final CourseWhen all generators are repaired, the Black Banquet reaches completion.
Serving Carts remain active and become execution sites.
Survivors can still dismantle Serving Carts during this phase.
However, remaining active carts provide the Chef with his final advantage.
A survivor who has reached their final hook state can be sacrificed by the Chef's hand if they are downed within the influence of an active Serving Cart.
The Chef has completed the dish.
Killer PerksPerfect Preparation"Nothing is left to chance."
After damaging a Generator, it becomes prepared and shows it's aura in a different color.
The next time a survivor interacts with it, the killer is warned and the survivor gain oblivious for a short duration.
Waste Nothing"Even failure can become useful."
When a survivor escapes your grasp pallets within a medium radius are blocked for a short time.
Signature Dish"The best creations are remembered."
The more the Obsession suffers, the more focused you become.
Hooking the Obsession cause all injured survivors to become hindered for a short time.
