Despite the very, very annoying little exploit that survivors can do to force you to DC, this killer may be the most fun I've had since...Artist, maybe. Mobility - fantastic. Takes a while to get used to, but this is how you make a killer decent without powerful anti loop. When is something gonna be done about the hackers? It's gotten so out of control that they are streaming on twitching and taunting BHVR with their usernames. I'm currently watching one as a type this who has been pc banned but using a spoofer. Idk much about PC or hacks but these guys act as if they are invincible. Curious where this thread will end up. For me personally, Blood Echo is one of my favorites to run, specifically on Legion. Legion, a killer who can get first hits easier than most others, can force survivors to heal against them if they want to keep their Dead Hards or whatever Exhaustion perks they're running, and typically, the counterplay to Legion is to stay injured. This is probably a hot take, but I don't think body blocking with BT is a wrong thing. I can see why killers are annoyed with it, but isn't teamwork asked from the community? BT is one of the best perks for this because it gives a unique effect that isn't an "increase X effect". I quit this game a few months because the community was unbearable and the game was actually terrible in terms of playerbase distribution+balance and I believe that didn't change at all in all the time I've been gone, it probably even got worse. Out of my six matches so far, four of the Killers were Bots and the other two were outright running through walls and insta-downing all of the Survivors. I've had issues with cheaters in the past but to have this many matches in a row is very concerning. I've been seeing this a lot lately on both sides and I have to know.....why does everyone DC in the final few moments of a match? You essentially just wasted the 15 minutes you spent in the match, and get 0 points at the end. And then you add another 5 minute penalty to yourself. Why? Becuz for one side we have new players that unfortunately doesnt know what a pallet is being the 70% playerbase and then we have another percentaje of toxics,ragequiters,dcers, and other scum that just wanna troll the killer. Wanna do a good study of game balance? I killed a Leon a few games ago, guess how? Because he tried to lock the same locker 3 times in a row, and each time he managed to time it perfectly with me teleporting to it. On top of basement in the shack. Props to him for not DCing and eating the bad luck, but its hilarious that someone could have that happen to them 3 times in a row. I've kinda been experimenting with different builds but idk what I should go with. I've used perks like spirit fury with enduring. Bbq and corrupt, stbfl, pain res with dead man's switch. The brightness of the map makes it look horrible now. Especially inside the house. It's sad because it originally looked and felt great, like a real horror game. Now it's just meh, and ugly looking. I just got steamrolled by my team, who doesn't know I have tenacity and power-struggle on. They keep trying to pick me up the whole game, and when the killer arrives, they immediately drop the pallet. This happened four times in one match. Personally, I don't like it. I feel like killers have the advantage in a game already especially on console. Honestly with pc it's totally different. It is easier to play survivor on pc than console. That said, I feel like it would be fair to have the mori change go through on pc but not console. Decided to come back today and play around with Dredge while I wait for the event to start on Thursday. Stuck my 2mil and change after the reset into him, and then spent a while grinding up BP - finally unlocked the loadout I wanted on Dredge. Awesome, let's go! I've taken a 3 month pause from dbd (like 2 3 weeks after they removed stretched res) (it was not due to stretched res being removed it was becuase i was hook camped 17/20 games) Anyways Dredge came out i have a few thousand hours and i thought it would be fun to play dbd again... Outside the Killers Shack pallet for obvious reasons, why does it feel like pallets are not random? It’s like every loop has one now and it makes Survivors hide in the loop. Especially if they are cocky and start to tea-bag when they are next to the pallet. I swear there used to be like maybe 12 before hand. Now it feels like 18 or 20. Seriously, so many of these threads. Really don't get it. From my side, I started under ranks and it was miserable. Joined right before the monthly reset; chaos - a few games in and I was facing people with thousands of hours of experience, as a brand new killer. Im really disappointed that they are only doing 12 masks for the replacements of the Anniversary Crowns. Why couldn’t they make one for every original character? That’s the thing I was most excited for. Collecting cosmetics for all the original characters. Hope they add more before the release of the anniversary. But the masks look great! Nothing to brag about here, nothing strange or unusual occurred. Just one decked out survivor in a gimmick resilience build and his duo being very sour.
