After 90% of all my solo queue survivor games today being killers running Call of Brine + Eruption + Overcharge/Pain Res and tunneling the first survivor out asap, I've come to realize this game is just not worth it anymore. No more getting upset over the many killers winning games that they have no business of winning. No more waiting for BHVR to break the radio silence. No more waiting for the devs to make changes only after they've made enough money from people who buy Nemesis and Onryo for their perks. Playing solo q is self-flagellation and I've often wondered whether I have been masochistic or self-hating for putting up with it. Yep, I'm a whiny survivor main here to declare his departure from the game. Belittle me all you want. But for those of you who are also fed up with this solo q-stomping genkicking meta, this is a reminder that you can just leave too.

I left months ago, but for the killer side of things. Same meta perks, toxic survivors who think bully the killer is the main goal, the horrible map design with too many pallets and loops that can be chained together back to back. There's a myriad of reasons but the main thing was it wasn't feel and didn't feel like it used to. So I played other games and was a nice break. Tried to come back in the past week or so but even winning feels bad so I think it's time to let dbd go and move on. As far as belittling you, look where you're posting. The toxic survivors and killers in game are the same ones trash talking here. Just leave dbd, you'll be glad you did.

The bad apples that find it entertaining to go as hard as they possibly can, just to deny the opposition a chance to even play.

    That, and hackers.

God the hackers, making dbd nearly unplayable at this point. Its every other match. They even openly stream it on twitch. Theres a guy doing that right now and one of his teammates joined the chat to ask what menu he's using lol it's getting comical at this point. I play on console and when I see PC players in the lobby I just assume they're hacking because it's so common now.

  • I've played significantly less since the addition of mmr. Most killers simply arent viable the higher you go. A lot of times it isn't the survivors that are that good, it's the meta perks that allow them to extend chases and waste time. Not saying it's all because of perks. Of course the higher mmr survivors are better loopers and understand how to run the tiles and chain efficiently but even if they mess up or you win a mind game, they have dead hard 95% of the time. A team of good survivors all with meta perks on maps that are loaded with pallets and vault locations is a nightmare. Combine that with the fact that gen speeds are too fast and it's just not fun. When there was a mix of ranks on a team you used to could drop chase and find a weaker survivor. If they are all similarly skilled that's no longer an option. Most of my games it seems like I lose 2 gens at least before first down. I was R1 every season until mmr and after I questioned if I even knew how to play killer lol If there's a bright side though, it's that I started playing other games besides DBD and have enjoyed my hiatus from the stress and toxicity. I'll always love DBD and I pop on for a match or 2 once in awhile and see what's being discussed here but I'm quickly reminded why I basically quit in the first place. Then I go play Elden Ring, Apex or something 🤣 I miss the feeling I used to have for DBD but I've come to terms with the fact that'll never be back.

  • I think we get mostly weak killers because the devs are afraid of backlash. Most of the playerbase are survivor mains. Look how survivor sided most aspects of this game are. They don't want to upset the majority and as long as killers keep logging on every day to play against the same meta builds with the same outcomes it'll never change. So don't expect the new killer to be very viable. Honestly I wish every killer main would take a long break and force some change. Go play some different games, and when survivors have to search an hour for a masochistic killer to voluntarily be bullied they might have a change of heart on a few things....but I doubt it lol I'm mostly joking but I really wouldn't expect the new killer to be very good.

  • I mean, the boon perks arent THAT good. Rarely have I had to go extremely far out of my way to kick one. And if I have to, they have to go just as far to use them. If they're in an area with no gen or a completed gen then they're wasting their time too.

If you reach that point, its time to uninstall, not only will that take forever but you will spend more time afk'ing than playing because you are just going to get matched against better players again.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2586765#Comment_2586765

Derankers where super common, even fog whisperers like Jendenise where doing it.

the rest is complaints more related to the balance of the game, something that was an issue before MMR

Sure balance has always been an issue but after mmr was introduced it got worse. Before if you got a well organized swf you'd probably have a rough game but it wasn't often enough that I'd call it a huge issue. Now even if they aren't swf it seems like almost every survivor is very experienced or at least better than average loopers. If you are using m1 killers forget it. Mind games, moonwalking, whatever they're a step ahead because they know how to position themselves to watch you. I was a rank 1 killer every season now I'm questioning if I even know how to play the game. I've all but quit because I'm hanging on to the feeling I used to have for the game but I'm so close to uninstalling and it's kinda depressing.

  • @Yatol said:

so you dont get free stomp against new players who just started

Look I don't think anyone wants a free stomp but currently killer is atrocious to play. It's not fun anymore and I used to love to play killer. Now it's gen rushing looping gods every game. Makes no sense. I'm not mad they're good and know how to play. It's just that between the safety on the maps such as pallets and other loops and survivor perks It's hard to even down survivors. Used to you might get one guy who was really good per team. Now everyone I go against knows positioning, how to loop, rushes gens, etc.. The ol drop chase and find another survivor is useless. You chase 1 guy, lose 2 gens, chase another and lose 2 more. Next thing you know it's 1 gen to go and you have 2 hooks. I know I'm not the best killer but I've played a long time and it's ridiculous the state this game is in.

That would be completely broken. There is a reason why old Moris were complained about so much.

Add such a change to the game and I guarantee you killers will sit through multiple hour queue times, because no one would want to play survivor anymore. I know I sure wouldn't.

But the reason theres so many people who play survivor is because it's very stressful. Survivor is the easier mode. More people would play killer if it were balanced. The problem is the devs are afraid to upset the majority of their playerbase. I know lots of people straight up quitting the game and moving on to others. If they don't make some kind of change dbd will die. I'm barely hanging on myself and that's only because I have so many years in dbd. That's starting to matter less and less.

  • Yea I'm done too. The toxicity, survivors thinking they're good based on their crutch perks, gen speeds, having to sweat every game, etc... Thanks for the memories, but dbd is on it's way out.

I'm having the same issue as well. At one point my game even glitched out and then closed it entirely. :/

Yea after this post the same happened to me. Completely froze and disconnected me from the match and gave me a matchmaking penalty.

  • Getting extreme amounts of lag as well. Playing Nemesis on ps4. Freezes every couple seconds and when using the tentacle strike. Would be a great chapter otherwise. Disappointed so far

Claudette was one of the first survivors I've played, so if there was a way to see some old matches I would probably see a baby Claudette with a tier 1 Self-Care.

Wish I could return to those good ole' days.

Yeah I'd like to return to those days myself. Was just saying that on another thread

That is actually very impressive, to be honest. My most used survivor perk is, probably, Self-Care. But in my defence, when I first started playing this perk was praised instead of hated.

When I first started my build was self care, premonition, urban evasion and I cant remember the last. I wanna say sprint burst lol seems like such a bad build now besides sb because I use none of those anymore. I wouldnt use other characters until I got self care on them lmao

90% chance your post will end up there anyway.

    This discussion has been moved

  • This one memory sticks out to me. It's when I first started and tried playing killer. I chose wraith and got obliterated by survivors with flashlights. I got so frustrated that I almost quit. I kept at it though. Didnt get much easier as I would get 360d a lot. Swing and turn and the survivors was already way ahead of me. That lead me to watching videos on DBD. I watched every tip and tutorial and guide i could find. Back then there wasnt a lot of content. The game had only been out a year or so I think and not even that long on console. Idk the exact dates, sometime in 2017. Eventually I found TydeTyme, Monto, Tru3, noob3 and dbd became my life. I started getting better, winning games and I played until the sun came up many many nights. Eventually I hit rank 1 on both sides and I've suffered ever since. No I'm jk. Actually I've had some of the best gaming memories on this game. I hate to say that these days it dont feel the same, but I cant ever fully quit. But yea I think about my poor baby wraith sometimes getting burned and blinded and am thankful I didnt quit. It's been a fun ride. Hopefully one day I can recapture the feeling i used to get when i first started playing.

  • The problem isn't pc players are better. Theres console players who are great. Theres more people on consoles though, and most of them aren't the best players out there. The majority play mainly survivor so when it's that saturated and only a small percentage of that group are the best players you run into bad players a lot more than good. PC has less players so smaller pool to choose from and better chance to get good teammates/killer. I also feel like if you've invested in a gaming pc you probably put more time into gaming and take it more seriously than a casual gamer on console. That's not saying theres not people on console who take gaming very seriously. Just feel like when you want to take it to that next level, you obviously go to pc.

  • I had a guy who was already dead and spectating his buddies tell me ggez because his friend got hatch. Couldve slugged for 4k but most of the time I dont care to. My favorite line they use, which I also heard recently was "we were just playing chill" "I wasnt even trying" Dude went on to say I was sweating and that he was "trolling" and "salt farming" me lmao Ok bud. After he realized how much he was embarrassing himself he admitted he was trying to save face lol Gotta love survivor mains.

It depends on the individual. You always run the risk to come across as condescending.

I suggest trying to make your intentions sound genuine by broaching the subject with stuff like "gg tough map for (insert killer)", or "gg you did well even though we had a lot of good pallets to work with" and then maybe follow up with "when I play killer I usually prefer to do X in X situation. I found it works well."

    You get the idea.

Yeah I like this approach. I'm sure playing killer they've encountered enough mockery and trash talk. I'd hate to come off like I was making fun or mocking them. I just feel like if I could give people a couple small tips sometimes itd help their play a lot. Like it being ok to drop chases sometimes or not running the outside walls of a T&L. Two major mistakes that cost that guy the game.

  • It's a nice change of pace and when it has, rarely, happened to me I did enjoy it.

  • It would be nice to get 12 hooks a game but sometimes just not possible. The goal is always 12 hooks for the 4k. I try to protect gens, always go for the ones doing the unhooking, spread the injuries around and try to get as many hooks as I can but if I start losing gens and need kills I'll switch strategies and start focusing on trying to get kills. In that case it just depends on the situation. If it calls for slugging, tunneling, or camping it may have to be done.

Last night I was doing the "Sacrifice during the endgame challenge" so the game needed to get to endgame so I decided to play fair and by the survivor rulebook even though it was to my detriment.

For a start the survivors burn a Haddonfield offering to massively tilt the game in their favour. They also had a few toolboxes and a BNP because apparently gens aren't fast enough.

Despite this I play nice, I go to the hook and see survivors healing under hook which is bad but I ignore the injured survivor and start a fresh chase with a new survivor. I try to chase fresh survivors who haven't been hooked yet if I see them to give everyone a fair chance. Needless to say I lost that game and survivors made sure to force me to walk to the exit gate to watch them tbag me and force them out and the other survivors make me walk to the other exit gate to watch them tbag me and force them out. I had bloodwarden and it was like they knew I could see their aura too because they were looking in my direction and tbagging across.

At the end of all this the game itself spits in my face with a big "DDDNNNRRRRGGGGHGHHH" sound effect as the words "ENTITY DISPLEASED" appear on my screen.

You really feel like a clown playing fair or with any sense of sportsmanship lol because the other side sure as hell doesn't. Your efforts are completely in vain too because no matter how nice you play the majority of survivors will try to humiliate you at the end. I'm sure if it wasn't a console swf I would have had an EZ in the chatbox too.

Next few games I facecamp with Bubba and ya know what? I felt much better for it. I even hit a few on hook it was therapeutic. I get kills, I have an easier time, and it's hilarious to see how many survivors now start talking about playing fair and good sportsmanship.

Oh I've heard it all. I was playing bubba recently too. Had a DC early for no reason so the rest of the game I would find and down the other 3 and walk away so they could at least get some points. Now some killers might let them go but I decided to hook them after I'd let them get some points so it wasn't letting them win but not a wasted game either. I had insidious on because I was gonna meme in the basement but after the DC I decided not to so I hadn't used it until there was 1 survivor left. Closed hatch and had close exits so I situate myself on the other side of a wall and waited and watched the gates. Well guy came and went for it and I downed and hooked him. I got a message about how he earned that gate and I had no skill or honor lmao.

Next was swf on residence. I was wraith so I had a tough game trying to play fair but I was doing ok, but in the end i had 1 kill. Gate was 99d and I down and hook this Kate. There was an injured feng and healthy meg. I open the gate to put some pressure on because all they had to do was tap it anyway. So since I didnt know where either was at the moment I was trying to secure the kill on Kate because leaving her would just be allowing them all 3 to escape. Sure its camping but nothing else I could do. Finally I see injured feng tbagging by the gate and even if I walked towards her she was gone so I stayed at the hook. Now meg could've healed feng and worked together to bodyblock and save but instead Meg runs in hot and I hit her. She saves and I down her. I run the Kate and feng out and just take the kill on meg. 2 dead 2 escape. Was happy to take the draw. Next thing I know I get a message saying how I was desperate trash blah blah...etc...

Game 3 still wraith. Salty meg is back with a key and teammate has a map. They had a Hawkins lab offering. This time my game goes much better but I kinda forget about the map and key and I end up killing the other 2 before them because they're playing immersed and trying to rush the gens. I did hook the key girl once before that but didnt see them too much. We get down to 1 gen and I realize I might've messed up until I see key meg and chase her and hook her. I'm thinking with 1 gen map meg probably knows where hatch is and idk where shes at. If I leave key girl and she saves they're both out. So I'm content with a 3k because I'd had a decent game. I dont facecamp but I stay close. Right before key girl dies, map meg from the game before flies in again and tries to save. It starts the grab animation but it cancels like it does most times. But it does interrupt the save and key girl dies. So I hit map meg and end up downing her and getting her on hook for the 4k. She could've left but got greedy and ended up getting herself killed in both games. Game ends and here comes the messages again. After a couple minutes I get a message from a random account talking crap. It's her alt account. She goes on about me being trash, I should play roblox with other casuals, cant get kills without slugging, camping, tunneling just a bunch of salt. Theres no explaining to her that in certain situations I have to do what I have to do to win or it's just throwing the game.

Long stories but I guess what I'm saying is if you try to play the fair game and 12 hook every match and follow the survivor rulebook it will cost you. That, and survivors never take responsibility for their misplays. If they die, its because the killer played unfairly in some way.

  • I think everyone has pretty much said everything. My main thing that makes it unfun for me is the time factor as well. It makes playing certain killers like M1 killers impossible against efficient teams. Sometimes getting 12 hooks, always going for different survivors and playing by their rules just wont work. Especially with how many chances they get. You pretty much have to at least slug and sometimes situations will arise which make camping or tunneling a necessary strategy if you want to win. Survivors refuse to understand this and will be toxic af and that gets super annoying. When I get in those situations I know the messages are coming. I always try to play fair but when I get into a situation where I need to camp or have to tunnel I will because not doing so would be letting the survivors win. Just do your best and do whatever you need to do to help you win and dont try to be the good guy at all times. You aren't responsible for their fun and they certainly don't care if you're having fun. You'll win a few, lose a few and survivors will curse you out for both. I slug a lot and if theres no ds or I know a survivor has used it I'm not afraid to send them back to the campfire early. Might have to ignore the salty messages though.

  • Well idk if they reported but I got called toxic and a cheater for getting a 4k with bubba. Along with being told I have no skill and no honor. Lol Funny thing is it's the 1st time I'd used him in months and wasn't particularly good in my eyes. They went on to tell me that I didn't have to kill everyone and I should've let one go. Oh and before anyone asks because I used Bubba, nope didn't camp or tunnel. Just a regular game 4k. Was surprised I got a message after that game.

  • @RoachesDelight said:

Oh here we go another take this out of the game because I don't like it post. "I know how to moonwalk I just don't want to because it's annoying" K? Get over it.

I just find it ridiculous at times to have to do all the extra stuff to get hits. Maybe dbd is just getting boring to me. Don't get me wrong, it's satisfying tricking survivors to walk right into you. I was just thinking if the stain wasnt there and it was more of a guessing game it might be more exciting. Then again, maybe not. After looking at the responses I can see why it'd be a nerf to killers more than anything. It was just random thought. No need to be hostile. That's what's wrong with the community. Instead of listening to each other and discussing like adults you just wanna say get over it.

  • @Yamaoka said:

You seem to forget killers also actively show the red stain around corners to make survivors vault into them.

Hiding and showing the red stain both actively affect the (re-)actions of survivors so straight up removing it would be a nerf for killers in my book.

Yeah I understand it works both ways but every time I have to walk backwards to get a hit I find myself thinking how ridiculous it is. You're right, it could end up being a nerf. I would be curious to see how it played out though.

    Welcome back!

But do we really need another thread with an us vs them mentality?

There are toxic people on both sides.

If we keep making posts about the individual toxicity we see, aren't we rewarding the behavior? People get a kind off publicity. Increasing the chances of the behavior being repeated.

I say ######### em, move to next game.

It wasn't meant as a killers vs. survivors post. I had just taken a break and come back to the most hostility I've seen in DBD in maybe ever. The point of the post was to ask if anyone else had experienced an increase in toxicity lately. I just so happened to play killer when returning and after every match I got messages complaining about everything. Now if I'd played survivor and killers were messaging me I would've said that. In my experience it was survivors messaging me and that's what usually happens. It was just more than usual. So I got curious whether anyone else had seen an increase in toxic behavior.

  • @Rullisi said:

The game was pretty good few weeks ago, I could actually get matched with similar skill level people and have fun most games and killers are polite too.

This and last week it's just been the same wait 30 mins to get matched with some disgusting pedophile tunneling Freddy with tiny penis bbq pop builds or something. Not fun at all.

I usually quickly just block anybody I disliked so I rarely get any messages in profile comments.

Perhaps the queue times are the cause of bad matchmaking, but why is it suddenly taking so long tho?

Well I don't play freddy too often but bbq pop builds are common on most killers. What would you rather the killer do? Run a build that doesn't work for the sake of your fun while sacrificing their own? No offense but those are the types of messages I get complaining about the killer or build. I feel like anytime the survivors have to get out of their comfort zone or adapt it's all of a sudden not fun. I mean, I hate going against swf on comms and the plethora of 2nd chance perks but I'm not going to go out of my way to criticize them for using the tools available for them to complete their objective. I mean, why would you not want to make the game easier for yourself? Killers want to do the same. Now I can understand if the killer is camping, or hardcore tunneling I could see being a little salty, but trash talking them because of their choice of killer and perks is toxic.

  • @kyogul said:

Are you console? I play killer on PC and I don't really get sent messages in an inbox. Or could you be referring to comments on your steam profile? If so I would recommend putting that as private

In regards to my experiences, since my profile was private from pretty much day one on DBD I very much minimised the toxicity in regards to messages. When I play killer I turn off end-game chat as a rule, with some exceptions like if I had a question for someone. As survivor sometimes I'm curious and I do get toxicity from both other survivors and other killers. From what I saw when my end-game chat was active as killer, it is a similar tune.

Maybe just my experience but I get a lot of bitchy PC killers in end-game chat when I play survivor who sometimes go out of their way to be toxic. Like if it's a legitimately good game and they get a 4k they'll go out of their way to BM and say GG ez or insult the survivors. I remember once a killer was calling my friends and I trash and accused us of trying to bully him because my friend got one flashlight save. one. we don't teabag or anything, and he still got a 4k. we said gg wp before he went off on a tangent about being mad about the flashlight save and calling us losers and whatnot. So I don't really get this mentality that killers are beyond reproach and can't be toxic or as toxic.

From my general observation, survivor toxicity is mostly in messages. Killer toxicity is mostly in game, such as facecamping.

I'm on ps4/xbox one do these people have to go out of their way to message me. I could understand if I was on pc and it was end game char stuff since it's right there but to click my name, go to the message screen and type out a whiny message blaming me for their poor play is ridiculous. Like I said, used to every now and then I'd get sent one but it's literally after every match lately.

  • One thing I wish I had known was to use your time wisely to do gens, heal under hook instead of running across map, don't hide every time you hear a heartbeat, and don't crouch walk everywhere. Oh and save your teammates, but not in front of the killer. Sorry that's a lot but just things I remembered from being new and still see to this day. But if it has to be one thing, learn to be efficient.

  • @Phasmamain said:

Unfortunately that’s the way it is. I get messages from killers a lot as well as survivors because I played badly in the match

I just never remembered it being like this. Had a game the other day as pig on lerys. 4 man swf, 2 survivors have object, they spread on gens, were good at loops, blah blah it was miserable. I did the best I could given the situation but it got down to 3 survivors and 1 gen. I had surveillance and a decent 3 gen so I was trying my best to pick my chases carefully and protect the gens. I managed to hold it for awhile but going gen to gen kicking when they could see me and just tap when I walked away was getting tiresome. So I finally committed to a chase on the most toxic tbagging Steve. The other 2 finished the gen and I hooked him. He dies and in my message I get "wow that was so boring" "you're so trash at loops you wouldnt even chase me" I told him no I'm not letting you waste time while your friends do the gens. He keeps on about how I'm bad, yet they had 2 objects, all dead hards, ds, the works. Which is fine if you wanna play that way but they feel like they can bully you into letting them live and if you dont you're trash. I'm not one to complain over perks but object is super annoying lol especially multiple.

  • Killers have been saying this for a long time.

  • Here we go again. Doesn't anyone have anything new to talk about?

  • Life isn't fair..It's like when you're standing behind someone at a vending machine and the machine drops them 2 snacks or sodas but when it's your turn it only drops the one or worse, takes your money. You dont get online and throw a tantrum to the snack company because the guy before you got free stuff. It was just a malfunction. You say hey, good for that guy and his luck and move on. 😂

  • Sometimes it seems like the game chooses the map that best counters my killer. Ex: I choose Huntress or Billy, entity says let's go to Lerys lol 😆

  • So far I've had better luck on my xbox than ps4 for sure but it occasionally will happen. I just hope they push out a fix soon. I could play on my pc but I enjoy the comfort of my console lol

  • I do this with spirit for some reason. Especially if I haven't played her in awhile. I'll whiff a few times until i get used to it again.

they have contracts with the companies to have the okay.

As people on here love to point out 'corporate greed'. If you think bhvr is bad for that, you should see the hassle they are probably facing from license holders...

I understand having to get the ok on the release of a patch but dude they have to test it before they even get that far. Meaning they have ways to test on console before they release. I highly doubt they have contracts to test upcoming patches. That's what dev kits are for.

iirc microsoft, sony etc aren't that keen on 'homebrew' stuff. it would need an emulator to test, which would not be the same. I need to check back with a friend who's working in the field, but iirc it's not as easy 'just fire up your console'

Do you think other gaming companies don't have ways to test their games' patches before they are released?

They can't test on console because of Microsoft, Sony, etc putting boulders in their way.

If you want a PTB on consoles, you have to get those companies to allow it (for dbd) by default.

They don't even have to have a ptb for console. Just fire up a ps4 and test the build you're about to release in house. It blows my mind how often this happens. I know they care more about pc than anything else but we paid for this game too. Not to mention the money spent on dlc after dlc, cosmetics, and the rift. The least they could do is test the version of the game they're giving us. That reminds me of another gaming company that cares more about money than quality products. I love this game and have for years but if BHVR is turning into EA Canada, it's heartbreaking.

  • I've just gotten so tired of it after 3 years. You either pay the killers who can deal with it or run in circles half the game. It's not really the loops though, like I've said before it's the amount of loops and pallets. If they were cut down just a tiny bit to make it matter if a pallet was dropped it'd make the game much healthier. There would be more interaction, a larger variety of killers, and more fun. With every survivor having a string of tiles to chain it just gets dull. Make it matter if loop is destroyed and you'll get the tension and sense of urgency back. Make killer scary again! Right now survivors have all the loops and pathing memorized and as killer you just go through the motions. It wouldn't even really be a nerf. It would breathe life back into the game for people like me and many others I know who have all but quit.

  • On paper I'd say clown is stronger. The slow helps in chases but the bottles are also good for zoning. In my games however it's opposite. I tend to do poorly with Clown lately even though I mained him and trapper for long periods. When I use trapper I end up doing well most games. Doesn't make much sense but that's how it goes. In terms of fun I'd probably take Clown over trapper but not by much. Throwing the bottles is fun but the satisfaction of a well placed trap clasping around a survivors leg as you stand back and watch them run straight into it is fun too. If I was playing a coordinated swf I'd probably rather be playing Clown since teams like that will constantly be snapping traps. Not to mention you don't wanna waste more time than you have to and trapper having to collect his power all over the map definitely hurts him against a swf gen rush.

  • I've commented plenty on posts like this. I agree wholeheartedly with everything OP said. It's become nearly unplayable at this point. Between the perks, too many loops and pallets and gen speeds it's gotten ridiculous. Sad part is survivors just think they're good at the game. They don't even realize they're on ez mode then have the audacity to say git gud 🤡 On top of that if the killer does anything to fight back and give themselves a chance then they cry about tunneling, camping and slugging and call you trash. To them, we should play "fair" and lose just so they can escape. Even if you win you lose because they don't like how you played. It's entirely on the devs. They've basically made them spoiled, and entitled children. Now they're in a position that even if they do balance the game the masses of survivors will cry that they won't play. If that happens they'll lose money. It's a shame because DBD used to be a great game. My suggestion is play something else. There's plenty of good games to actually have fun with instead of forcing yourself to play DBD and deal with it's toxic community. I've all but quit myself. A game or 2 every few days here and there and it's always the same so playing less and less. I check on the forums once in awhile and see these posts and they let me know I made the right decision.

  • You are playing a survivor sided game and posting in a survivor dominated forum. Any suggestion you have to help the killer will immediately be met with "git gud" Here's what I say, stop playing. Survivors think killers are toys to mess with so they can run in circles and throw pallets while their buddies on comms rush gens. If killers stop playing then theres nobody to bully. Game dies. I love DBD but most of my games are becoming the same way so I've been enjoying other games and having fun. Got on DBD for 2 games earlier and immediately toxic survivors crying about tunneling because I moried the 1 guy saboing every hook lmao The entitlement is real. Go play something else you'll be glad you did.

  • @FlamingkittyUmad I think most people understand what a tier is. The wording is fine. Multiple games with a battle pass style rewards system use the word tier for each level. A page is a page. Common sense should tell you 400 ac isn't buying 4 pages of stuff. Sucks you misunderstood but now you know.

Speak for yourself, OP. That rush of looping a killer for 5 gens into the exit gate is awwwesssooommmeee.

But not for killer. It's miserable. I agree with OP. Of course survivors would never want anything that would hinder their ability to run for 5 gens. To me, that shouldn't even be possible. It takes no skill, the other survivors are playing gen simulator and the killer is just chasing you in circles. Survivors who do this think they're good and don't realize it's poor design. The simple fact that that's a thing proves DBD is survivor sided. And the argument is always drop the chase and find someone else or use a killer that can help at loops. Those are band aid fixes. I wanna play whatever killer I want with whatever build and still have a chance. But nobody is willing to budge to make sure both sides are engaged and having fun. Regardless of what you or any other survivors say, the killer isn't a play thing to mess with and bully, they're people trying to play some games and have a good time too. You need each other. Theres no dbd without both sides and I know plenty of people who've stopped playing killer because you have to sweat so much. You wanna loop for 5 gens and rush gens but throw fits when a killer camps, tunnels, or slugs. I'm not saying you personally, just using your reply to build an argument.
