hook glitch ruined my adept

went up against a mommy, only went down because her lullaby was out of range somehow just for her to be within hatchet distance??? like she popped up 20 feet away so that was weird, whatever tho, the problem comes from getting hooked twice causing me to die. i could have made it out with the distance freom the door and bt but the hook glitch killed me :(

    It's just a visual glitch and the first time you got hooked you probably got saved right as you went into second state and the visual glitch activated showing that you have only been hooked once. I've never heard of an actual hook glitch that makes you die on 2nd hook

    nope its actually been happening. i was saved pretty instantly after hook
