I've been thinking a lot lately about the amount of people unhappy about certain aspects of gameplay such as perks. It speaks to something that many people see as a core issue with the game in regard to balance. To me, one of the biggest problems has always been the teachable perk system. 1) M1ning Survivor does not reset the Knife progress. 2) Knife progress only start to decrease 20 seconds after a chase ends. 3) Movement speed while throwing knifes should be at least 105%. 4) Can activate Main Event whenever you want once the bar is filled. Trickster is a stealth Killer that is good at keeping stacks of STBFL. Monitor and Abuse, Save the Best For Last and some gen slowdown is probably the most value you will get from him. I've been moreso positive on the Trickster's ever since the reveal trailers. It's how I get with every killer and chapter. In all honesty... I actually enjoy Trickster. At first I thought it'd be another twins for me where It'll be a little bit exciting, but eventually I just abandoned them. My first game with Trickster yesterday was on Lery's. I reserved my opinion until I had the occasion to play some matches against him, and I must say I don't enjoy facing him, at all. He has a very "old Legion vibe", meaning that once he finds you you know you will go down, very slowly , without much room to counterplay. Take a knife out? Slowed. Throw too many knives? Extra Slowed + Extra inaccuracy Throw too little? Waste of time. Main Event? You mean the timed event with a Nurse/Legion gasp-simulator at the end. Can't open Lockers during. Cancelling power has a huge delay. Hope you weren't one knife away from downing someone at the end of main event! I've played this killer just a few games but I can't help but wonder why would I play this over the Plague. He plays in a similar way but it's worse in every aspect. 1- He has to reload (plague doesn't) 2- His knives states decay if you don't get the 8th (plague just infects you over time) 3- Survivor gets speedboost when injured by 8th knife (plague just fully infects you and can m1) 4- His10 comments 501 views last activity

I see this being tossed around a lot with the ds nerfs. "The perk was a necessity to stop tunneling". But does ds bring anymore to the table than you could do by just general loop knowledge? Maybe its different for red and im speaking from my hours but i rarely ever run ds on the survivor end but play against it a lot (go figure). Is Dead hard very strong chase perk that can erase bad survivor plays with click of one buttom ? Yes Is it frustrating/unfun to play against ? Depends on how M1 dependant your killer is so often it can be. Is it overpowered ? As 3k hours mostly killer main who faces it regulary I believe no, no it's not. How do you fix it ? I was really apprehensive posting this. I usually give the devs benefit of doubt, and defend A LOT of decisions, looking at balance choices from BOTH sides. That, and I’ve been around long enough to know that it’s unwise to make brash judgments on a killer until a few months after their release. But I can’t fathom how Trickster came to be. Right now, the yellow bottles are incredibly underwhelming - they are virtually worthless for map traversal due to the extremely limited duration, and are impractical to waste bottles on in a chase most of the time unless combined with purple bottles, due to the purple bottles' superiority in chase. So i've been tracking my stats for the last 30 games of survivor (maps, perks the killer used, what killer i faced against, etc) and...wow, the difference in trickster players is astounding of the 10 matches i played yesterday, 4 of them were Trickster, there absolutely would have been more if i didn't log off and i played as soon as he released rather then the hours leading up today though?4 comments 151 views last activity

Anyone plan to keep Smash Hit in their rotation? Any thoughts on the perk so far? I want to give it a chance, but I’m having a hard time being sold on it. Most killers in red ranks respect pallets, so landing a pallet stun sometimes feels like a desync gamble I’m better off not taking. The build: Monitor and abuse, enduring (fun) or ruin (good), corrupt, any other perk (pref pop or sloppy). The point of this build is completely reliant on monitor and abuse, his near enough silent terror radius and his very short height. See where I'm going with this? Only been playing since Jan, last week spent a boatload of money on all the dlc. What a waste of money. Majority of killers are worthless, all I ever get is 4 man red ranks as a rank 13 killer. The only way I don’t is if for the majority of the day I don’t play the game(can’t play at night at all). The amount of streaming players all red rank on comms lately is astounding.
