But lullaby only works on noobs.
I can do skill checks w no sound.
I can do skill checks backwards.
I can do skill checks while watching a movie.
I can do skill checks if the circle shows up in the corner of my screen.
It's only the noobs who cry.
But I'm 100% sure you can't do Skill checks with no sound, backwards, if the skill checks show up in the corner of your screen, while watching a movie.
It's impossible to do all this things at the same time, and I think the no-sound skill checks would require more concentration than everything else, so that's why someone smart said before, that Huntress Lullaby is good on stealth killers, because once people start focusing only on muted skill checks, they don't focus on anything else.

totally not meta. there's no point in running mindbreaker over ruin+undying, over pop or over corrupt. Killer's meta is slowdown meta, there's no space for chase perks. Also, 5 seconds is nothing, since you can just recover the exhaustion as the killer approach or mid chase after a pallet stun, and the recovery stop it's not enough to make it meta, just really really niche.
Idk, many killers suffer from SB and the initial distance survivors get on them, so I'd say that this perk can be used without hesitation by all stealth killers.
And because you mentioned the ruin+undying combo, people usually run it with Tinkerer, and with Mindbreaker too would make a solid build, 'cause you are undetectable when you aproach the gen, and Mindbreaker could f*ck survivors' SB. Imagine your SB being disabled, while working on a gen, and you see on the last second an undetectable Bubba revving his chainsaw. Slim chances for Mindbreaker to shake the meta, but the situations where you could use this perk definitely incresed which is good.
-
@ClickyClicky said:
Break this down for me...
I was under the impression that mindbreaker exhausted them for x seconds, when they let go of the gen if they start running then they need to stop running for x seconds tk recover exhaustion
But when I tested it as survivor that wasnt the case. I started running from the gen and the exhaustion went as I was running.
Has that been changed now?
Definitely a bug. Haven't heard of it before. Did this happen multiple times?
-
@brokedownpalace said:
I think adding Overcharge would be good too because as soon as someone realizes they are exposed and you can see their aura they're going to want to run, making them more likely to miss the OC skill check.
Yes, this one is good, and I'm placing my bet on new ToT+ Dragon's Grip+ PGTW+ the new Mindbreaker (depends on the new values, if when you touch a generator under %50, which would be pretty likely with PGTW, you get exhausted for aminimum of 10 seconds it's going to be good)
Basically survivors see a highlighted gen hence you kicked a gen with Trail of Torment. To that generator was also applied PGTW, to make it go under 50% so when survivors touch the gen they get exhausted thanks to Mindbreaker, and their SB is bye-bye, and Exposed thanks to Dragon's grip, if they touch it within 30 seconds while it's active. What do y'all think about this? Is it overkill already?
-
@NursesBootie said:
It's a really good synergy. I also thought about using it on trapper and setting up the gen after kicking it.
Omg this so cool too. I must try this . Thx alot for the idea

If you usually wiggle to 99% and get hooked at the last second, then you should try flip-flop. It definitely has its moments, especially with all the sluggers nowadays. So yeah, give it a go.

Its still a trash perk. Situational and meme worthy.
But hey, every meme perk has its day.
lol. no it's not trash. Trash are the perks like Monstrous Shrine who give little to no benefit. Blood favour on the other hand, can give you some juicy downs and I believe that's pretty significant. Not the best perk in the game, but still, not trash.

No, he's fine and fun to play. I really think he doesn't need any tweaks and is in a good spot rn

It was obvious from the start that they wouldn't do that with the masks.
I mean,just look at our "legendary skins".They couldn't even add anything special like new voice,animation etc. for a 15$ Skin.
It definetely is a disappointment but as i said,it was a expected one
They like the idea of adding more unique details to legedaries, like different voice, maybe even new sound effects as they stated in the dev q&a so maybe in the future we'll see this mask having different expressions, but who knows?

Billy's animations were 'bugged' for a while before his rework. And if I am not mistaking, a few patches ago Mickey's hit animation in T3 got changed. And now this. Now this means...Mickey is getting changed in the next midchapter?

Haste buffs to not stack. They give a flat 7% speed increase.
However exhaustion perks, like Sprint Burst and Adrenaline, do stack with each other. Even with the on-hit speed boost.

In which case allow me to correct my earlier comment, it's possible to hit 257% not 221%
Sprint burst + Adrenaline + On-Hit + Hope
Umm, no. Those 7% do stack. Everything in this game that could stack and doesn't mention 'Doesn't stack' actually stacks. Do you have a source at least? I remember seeing a video on yt covering this topic and I am 99.9% sure Hope+ Breakout+Blood Pact stack.

Lucky break, make it permanent as iron will is.
That would be a good idea...if Lucky Break were the only perk in the game, but since you can pair it with Iron Will, Quick and quiet and Lightweight, it can become kinda problematic for the killer to keep track of you. This perk should better:
Still have a 3 minutes timer, but the timer goes down only when you are running, if you crouch, walk, do an action, etc. and you are injured, the timer for this perk pauses and you still leave no blood pools.
-
I 100% agree with you but I strongly believe that they already plan on updating the PTB with the real version. It just doesn't make sense to me to take feedback that's not relevant. Hope the devs will announce something soon.

We don't change turns to "WhIcH SiDe Is GoInG tO GeT bEtTeR pErKs ThIs TiMe". Each sides deserves at least decent perks, and this time around, Survivors got the "short stick". not fair.

I don’t know what you mean by “good” you mean a perk of by a level of DS and Unbreakable?? Hell no. Killer mains already sick of dealing with this BS no more broken survivor perks
okay, let me rephrase that. There is still hope for the new survivor perks to be somewhat unique and have a fun benefit that is at least usable in all types of matches. I'm not asking for a new Unbreakable nor a new DS, but having a perk that shows the aura of gens in a 32 metres of me, WHEN DEJA VU EXISTS ALREADY is depressing.

I assume they're going to do that tomorrow 'cus what is the point to test a killer that isn't fully developed and/or is drastically different from the version we have now.

This is just beautiful! Can't imagine how the whole map is going to look like, but I already love this Graphics!

Plague, Spirit and Deathslinger. Even though Plague doesn't have the most special outfits in the game, she is extremly detailed and I like her aspect really much, then SPIRIT because of her sick outfits then Slinger boy because of his style

Dude people are out of this world! It looks like the same wall from my perspective too now that you pointed it out! But why would they use this map tho?
-
all i want is at the end of the match to be able to see the POV of the others players during that match. Mainly because there are so many perks like Red Herring, Mindbreaker, Blood Echo that indirectly effect the game, and being able to see if they were effective even in the slightest could maybe make some of them a bit more viable? Anyway, a replay system is a good thing in itself that can't harm anyone, so I'm totally down for it.

@VentingSylar said:
From what I used to remember was, even if you had tokens the perk would only light up when it was actually blocking auras. This gave a ton of useful information to guess what perks or add-ons someone is using, the same way distortion does when its triggered. But now the perk stays lit up the entire time once you get one token and gives no indication on whether its doing anything or not. Why change in the first place or revert it back to how used to work? Cause rn literally NO ONE uses this perk, which is a shame since its better than distortion in all of ways.
Saw this thing too, but I think it is unintended. Any mod or dev that can confirm whether this is how it's supposed to work or not? @Almo @Peanits @MandyTalk
-
Lmao. You forgot to mention that while not actively revving, the heat doesn't build up, and the chainsaw cools right after you end the sprint, instead of cooling after the stun from the sprint is over. These are 2 major things.

It is trash, but i had a few fun games by using Object of Obsession, Open-Handed and Sole Survivor.
@DaKnight said:
It's almost there exclusively to be paired with Object of Obsession. It's really strong when you get to 2-3 tokens and basically have 1 way Object but by that point you are most likely looking for the hatch. I'd use Left Behind or Wake Up for a better "my entire team is dead" perk in the meantime.
Left Behind if you want to chance looking for the hatch, Wake Up to just stand on a door and let the killer find hatch. It's really hard for the killer to stop you opening a door with Wake Up + Resilience if you are getting it to 15%~ (before the first light shows up), waiting for the killer to check it, and then finishing it off in like 10 seconds. Or just go for the outright 0-100 door open if the doors spawn too close together since you will probably only get 1 chance to try.
I know OoO is a good pair with this perk but even at full stacks, if far enough, the killer can read your aura, which is kinda dumb. I agree that Wake up and Left Behind are better options for when you are the last one in the trial, but damn, really wanted Sole Survivor to be a bit better
-
desperately buffed? for the most part the generic perks like This is not happening and personally I would like the newer perks like Red herring or Lucky Break or even Dance with me to not have harsh conditions, or timers. Also a side note: We wouldn't need perk buffs if all the perks were more equal in power and overall all the perks to be at a medium range. Like I'd rather, as a killer, verse survivors running perks that don't impact the game as much as DS or DH. So nerfing overused perk could be a possibility to make the game more enjoyable imo.
-
@kazoie1 said:
seems alright but they will just do the best thing they can do against any killer, spread out. The only way youd be getting much of anything is if they stay all together and while yes deep wound stops them from m1ing at a gen keep in mind that deep wound does not go down when there sprinting so even if you chained 4 people like the last example you would still need one to 1.get out of deep wound and 2. be close to the guy you hit the first time with the deep wound regression
I agree that this could be situational, but at least you have to work for this advantage, and sometimes this benefit could just be worth it, even if on paper it doesn't sound that good. Like Frank's Mixtape is probably a horrible add-on on Legion, not only on paper, but in real matches too, but Tatariu (it's a small youtuber that plays Legion with this add-on for the most part) managed to pull some value out of this bad add-on. The point I'm trying to make is that even if it's a really small buff, that rarely comes into play, at least it exists and it gives you another tool to make this killer better.
-
@RakimSockem said:
How would that work for say.... Haunted Grounds or Retribution or NOED?
Haunted Grounds would light up the totems:
a) at the start of the match if the killer doesn't equip other Hexes.
b) when another Hex perk lights up if the killer equips other Hexes.
Retribution would light up after at least 1 person cleanses a dull totem.
Noed would light up after you down a person after the exit gates are powered
-
yeah, I like SL on Bubba now too. It's so much fun. Many people think that it's still a joke of an add-on, but honestly, for me is an add-on that I usually run because why not.
-
@MyWorldHasCome said:
Let's see how fast you can get sometimes!
- Play with your Food (fully charged) - With 3 stacks, you'll gain 15% speed movement.
- Hex: No One Escapes Death - When the gates are open, you'll gain a Haste effect with 4% speed movement.
- Hex: Devour Hope - 2 tokens will make run a 5% Haste when you hook someone (10 sec).
To be honest this build is pretty hard to accomplish in a public match, but in a private lobby its so fun to play with. "Haha build goes flooooosh!" indeed!
You can also pick a killer's power to make this even funnier. I personally like the idea of using this with Wraith cloak speed addons: "Windstorm" - Blood (purple) and "Windstorm" - White (green).
Those are the addons by the way (not the perks behind the addons):

I like the current version. Do you know why? Billy can be learned without throwing a hundred matches.
Billy is the same just without the facecamping while revving part...Which if you ask me wasn't that common in the first place. Bubba was the one worthy of facecamping while revving, not Billy. So imo this change was unnecessary

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/177183/sooo-whats-the-point-of-overheating-now
It ended chainsaw facecamping, overuse of the chainsaw during a chase. Overall, it was a nerf, but just to bad Hillbilly players.
@Sonzaishinai said:
It stops the Billy from revving the chainsaw in a hooked survivors face forever so that's a good thing
Changed the addons and left base billy untouched while reducing his ability to facecamp
Isn't that what we all wanted?
I still believe that in some regards, you can get rid of the heat gained way too fast, actually so fast that some of the add-ons Billy has are worthless now(reducing the heat gained/increasing the rate of cooling) and I do not think that is ok. Who's going to bring these type of add-ons in any match, let's be serious...
-
@ThGameIsHardButSoAmI said:
yeah, I still need to see more gameplay but it seems like it went from 100 to 0. Before it was super punishing and needed to be buffed, now it doesn't do almost anything which I still prefer.
What means that it was basically an add-on rework which was what people wanted so it's good i guess xD
yeah, but many add-ons affect Overheating in a way or another, so having the Overheat mechanic non-existent makes more than half of the add-ons trash. At least they made the "Mother's Helper" add-on a good one. I don't want to hear the sentence "when a flashlight is shining on you" EVER in my life. Especially on an Add-on. Yikes

I wouldn't call Calm Spirit a must with the new crows, but it's definitely more useful. I wish they'd revert the crows, though. They were still audible and visible before. Now it's just too obvious.

i never got to play the PTB but it doesnt sound great. I guess i can't really judge tho as i didnt play it. the new addons seem decent at least
I was skeptical at first too.
I managed to find a video of Otzdarva using these add-ons (of course he used it under normal conditions, he didn't try using the Tantrum in a creative way because he didn't know the speed this add-ons give you)
https://m.twitch.tv/videos/693349261time stamps: 1:07:36 & 1:09:00. What do you think?
-
@[Deleted User] said:
I just used this combo and it has its usefulness. I downed 2 survivors with the tantrum (separate instances), and also use the tantrum to break pallets.
And doesn't it feel more smooth to play? Personally I like it 'cuz you can always go for window hits with the chainsaw, and even if you miss, the drawback isn't that bad. And the funniest thing is that survivor don't expect you to run these add-ons and be so fast during the Tantrum so I definitely think these add-ons are worth running.
-
@Dr_Trauts said:
i think theyve changed them now have they not? so its not affecting tantrum movement speed anymore.
Tbh it was kind of useless, as you could essentially only benefit from it if you messed up or got clutch hit through a window - quite specific
Now it affects only the Tantrum. On the PTB these add-ons worked only if you intentionally entered a Tantrum by holding the M2 button too much. I think you underestimate the time these add-ons save you. It's alot. And you can trick survivors using the Tantrum 'cuz they dont expect you to have such a speed.

same for the last point - people complain about the fact that the oni skin is a set, but in what would would it work if it wasn't a set? his skin colour is completely changed, his head size changes, and more. I can understand people saying that the sword should be interchangeable tho.
But how do we know that the sword has the same model as any other weapon Oni has? Maybe it has a different measure because the minotaur's hand that holds the sword could be different from Oni's. And even if you could use the sword with any other cosmetic, are these 1000 posts complaining about this feature worth it? Only for a Weapon/Head(on the survivor side) in plus?
-
Ok so most of the sets are sets for a good reason. The Clown's outfit IS a set because the neck is connecting the head and the torso, so if you were able to mix and match this outfit, it would probably not look ok and the cosmetics will not be clipped the right way. It's ok to be vocal, but about the things that are considered a downgrade. This outfit doesn't hurt you or help you in any way so you are free to feel however you want, but I gotta say it: People complaining about sets annoy me more than the sets themselves. (No offense)

I love Spirit's warrior outfit, Jane's, Clown's, Oni's and Yui's are sick too. Adam's and David's dont interest me that much, but at least I am happy we didn't have another Claudette outfit or a half-shaved haircut for any of the girls. This Collection is a 9/10 for me. I know he has drawbacks. But i feel like his chase is just so oppressive that it is anti-fun and uninteractive. It's kind of like Spirit or Freddy. When you get into a chase with them, YOU KNOW you will die in a couple seconds and not have much say in that unless the killer massively ######### up. It's just really unfun to play against. Whereas other killers give you a lot more to work with and there is a give-and-take with the mistakes made on both sides.

Well, not quite. Pyramid Head runs slower (5%, not much but it still buys you time) while holding his power, and absolutely cannot hold it indefinitely if he's moving. If he's not moving, he's not chasing.
Not saying he's perfectly balanced or anything like that, just that this is not an accurate representation of his power.
I like people that argue eachother and make an interesting discussion but I feel like you guys are going slightly off-topic. I'm just saying that because the OP might feel bad because he asked for chase additions and you guys are arguing whether PH power has counterplays or not. Just saying...
-
I feel like crows are a big helper when a survivor is trying to break line of sight and hide behind a rock, so I don't see a problem in having other kind of animals that could find a purpose in chases. Or what if survivors could fall if they somehow stepped on a rock/thing. I know my suggestions are kinda off-topic, but maybe survivors could find a way to play around these mechanics...
