  • Ngl id be VERY intrested in a dangan chapter, especially to see how the characters/map would look as they would be from a drastically different style

  • I mean as always it depends on what your using it for. I like it as a little anti-heal/gen that I can stack on my legion with the artist hook perk

  • Warning though, while they will work together distressing means that starstruck will trigger from farther away meaning less time to close the distance. I would highly recommend agitation for starstruck instead if you have it unlocked

  • You can turn most safe loops into unsafe loops when you both are already at the loop. Even if they put the pallet down being chained forces a slow vault making it easy and if they run away from the loop they wont have enough time to make it to another loop while being slowed down

twins obv needs the victor cool down for pounce reduced to 3 seconds and charlottes need to be reduced to 1.5 seconds max. That or make it so if you down someone with victor you can immediately switch to charlotte. I don't know why victor got a 5 second cooldown which makes the twins' full fatigue 8 seconds since it takes charlotte 3 seconds to "fully wake up" (to start moving at full killer speed/attack).

Twins got nerfed because the popular survivor opinion on them was that they where "unfun" so they decided to nerf them. That being said I would love to see those changes and a button to kill victor instead of just leaving him somewhere while I chase someone else across the map

  • Hes far from the worst killer but BHVR HAS made him clunky to play and made his addons almost universally garbage. IMHO they need to make his addons FAR better again and get rid of the stupid over heat mechanic that literally noone asked for and everyone makes fun of them for

  • You should be able too. with the crossplay they have rn it should be as easy as making sure there in your in game friendslist and inviting/joining from that. same way as if you were joining with a friend on console

  • Imho legion would be a great support keeping everyone injured so that killers like spirit or fast killers like blight could exploit the fact that their injured

  • Odds are they where just out of your POV and got you, which imho is kinda bull but whatever. However if they where completely behind you 100% then the game might have a problem there

  • What are you playing on/what are you pc specs? I haven't really had a problem with the map other than the atrocious balancing of the map

Things do get changed (sometimes) from the PTB to the live servers, but there isn't any comparison changes from the original, proposed changes on the PTB. On some cycles, some PTBs were several versions behind from the current developer build (ex. Resident Evil PTB was an early March build) that even developers made complaints about it. If it's several versions behind, then what's the point in testing content? If you're seeking to squash bugs, then finding bugs could be eliminated or created in newer builds. If you're attempting to play test the new content, then that experience wouldn't match the current thought process of the development team.

Let me give you a great example of the PTB vs. Developer Build dilemma.

Using the Resident Evil PTB's Raccoon City Police Station, there was hardly performance issues originally for PC users during the PTB. An occasional lag spike here and there, but nothing that would've raised an alarm at the time On release, there were optimization issues out of the wazoo for PC Users, which even high-end users were making complaints about.

If we were up-to-date with the developer's build when they released a PTB and made adjustments during the PTB period to correlate with the development team, then a lot of individuals would have a positive response. Instead, we're given dated content from weeks ago that doesn't reflect the current thoughts of the development team.

To be frank I think the devs even just letting us know what they where working on after a ptb would go a long way from what's going on right now. I still remember the positive reactions people had when they provided some of the trickster changes from the ptb

If you have good team work, they're not impossible to open. Just because the gens are done doesn't mean the match should get easier from there.

I'm assuming he means when the hatch is closed and it's one person left. Still though they shouldnt be right beside each other but they need to be at most at a distance the killer can patrol

I unlocked both by playing once as Frank I think. I was using the Never Stop Slashing body with the default mask, and both crowns have appeared for me. So it could be a technical glitch. I've seen a few people on Reddit mention they're missing crowns after finishing a match with the crown as killer.

I'll try another game and with the leg and see if that fixes it. Hopefully it checks if I have the crown and gives me the other one

  • Just with susie, I'll try playing with all the other members when I get back I'm out rn

  • Non liscensed ones. So the ones bhvr made themselves, like for example legion can get one but pig or nemisis cant

  • I mean you can report him for using a slurs in game, at the end game screen just hover your mouse on top of their name and it should bring up a report/give props button on the far right of the name

  • I mean why would you ever, I'd honestly just get bored af unless its like 1hook and all the gens are done

  • Tbh I just hope that new corn is better on video encoding

  • @BioX I was trying to start a discussion my apologize if i worded it poorly I just wanted to see if there was any disagreement with what i said which we can talk about. forgive me its like 5:33 am and i havent slept yet

  • @Buily09 Honestly I think scottjund had the right idea with that (basically knives reflect but when it hits a object it reflects more knives to make it easier to hit

  • Legit only thing it does is allow you to get stuff from the paid side of the rift

  • Honestly I've been thinking lately instead of skill checks they could do small puzzles that do the same as skill checks but require just enough attention to distract so a killer can sneak up on a person

  • Surveillance pop surge and bbq with chewd pen and yellow power recovery. Allows me to nearly always be in my power while knowing and be able to sneak up on anyone doing gens

  • Best I would say is for picking up people get used to turning your model to look at walls so that they cant blind you. If they blind at a vault/pallet use your ears to find where there going as you can usually hear them running away or if there injured their moans of pain. But to "answer" the question I do feel that myself sometimes you just gotta breathe and realize that your giving them fuel if you tunnel and camp them

  • It seems to me like there taking some feedback and then ignoring the rest completely. For an example we have 1.pig changes for endgame collapse which noone liked (kept most of it, didnt include head traps not working in tr) 2.billy changes ( made a mechanic which noone liked but made it harder to be effected by it)

I honestly dont know what the qualifier rn is for keeping a change or listening to feedback

  • While I may not always agree with certain decisions made by you and or your dev team in game irl you better have a pretty good Birthday so far

  • I mean to be frank (heh legion main) I actually really like the killer add-on, it lets me too zoom to catch up or to pressure more easily and its the first universal killer add-on so theres that as well? but for anything else its been a disappointment including the last midchapter. I honestly dont know why the devs do some of the stuff they are doing right now like why change discordance in a midchapter AFTER it wasnt in the ptb for the patch. I REALLY hope they are able to course correct

  • The whole reason why people where using potd to zone was because unless a person was stuck in an animation it was too incredibly hard to hit with it. I've litteraly seen someone run across the potd before it got out to them leaving them unharmed. The only way they can make this nerf palatable is to actually make it so you can hit with potd without forcing people into a loose loose situation.

  • I mean they literally nerfed discordance just to make tier 3 better than tier 1. This patch is a massive disappointment

  • Boneclapper or silent bell is a must if your playing stealth wraith otherwise you need to body block while your cloaked

  • Honestly just try not to miss? Idk unrelenting is usually not worth it Also 100% always eat safe pallets just to get rid of them

  • Sorry for taking so much room in this thread with this discussion @Predator3174PL

I will insult your post, because it's no different than the teenager picking the strongest character and wondering why his 4 other friends don't like coming over.

Balancing issue or not, the fact is players still have an active choice in what and who they play as, which means they are culpable to a modest degree. If you want to play the popular meta killers/builds, expect to have more DCing players in your games. If you want less DCs, play less meta killers/builds. That will be the easiest, simplest solution up and until your killer falls out of favor or the game reaches a better balance.

Again, I already practice this. Guess how often I get DCers when I play as a killer?

You say that and then include legion in the big bad list of scary killers you have. If you just dont like playing against them its fine to admit that, hell I don't even care who you like or dislike, but I firmly disagree that you should expect dc's just because your playing meta and I firmly disagree that the onus should always be on the killer to change their playstyle just to prevent dcs. Anyway ive said my peace and dont want to make this into the "lets argue about the same thing over and over again " But Ill copy you one last time

How many times do you think I personally have disconnected or suicided because i dont like the killer and or the build? that would be a big fat zero

    Is this a serious post?

When a community (any community) gets oversaturated with the same, stagnant, frustrating gameplay, what do you except? Because the inverse of this statement is "Why should I switch characters just because you're not having fun?" It makes perfect sense if you're not posing that question to the playgroup. When players go hard on optimized/frustrating metas, it makes other players not want to play, so the simple solution is to not play the optimized/frustrating meta if you want others to play with you.

Yes, it will mean you might lose more often. Yes, it does mean you don't always get to choose your favorite character/deck/playstyle, ect. The trade-off is that you actually get to play. This goes for the killers and survivors in this game, because for every "Survivors keep dcing in my Legion games" post, there's another headlined with "Survivors are abusing DS, why even try to hook?"

By the way, I make it a point to avoid the frustrating killers and meta builds for both, so I'm not asking anything more of others than I myself already practice.

I mean you can insult my post all you want but your still blaming a balancing problem (which if you couldnt tell isnt the any of the players fault because they didnt make the damn perks) on the killers end and insisting that they change there playstyle because you dont like how a subset play instead of arguing to make more builds/killers capable of matching there strength.

  • @MasterofSFL said:

Probably because people are tired of playing against the same killers, with the same abusable/annoying powers and (presuming) the same boring meta builds.

I can say wholeheartedly I understand it, every other game it's a Legion/Spirit/Ghostface/Doctor and never do I see a Trapper/Clown/Demo/Huntress. After a while, it gets boring, stale and frustrating to deal with it. My suggestion: if you're tired of people DCing, stop playing the popular killers.

That makes no sense at all. "if you're tired of people DCing, stop playing the popular killers"? why do they have to play an "approved" killer for people not to dc, do they have to play approved perks as well? how bout cosmetics?

  • Im playing legion on red ranks and im not having that problem so idk. honestly though report them for unsportsman like conduct

  • Big patches are about 3 weeks off from there ptb so the change will be about 2 weeks

  • Even as a legion main I can only say "welcome to ormond"

  • To be honest as a killer main I'd change moris to be as thus

    Pink mori=current green mori

    Green mori=kill everyone on deathook

    Yellow mori=encorperated into base kit

  • Gotta be honest that sounds really weird but not much can be done without proof. Next time I HIGHLY suggest using nvidia shadow play or another recording software so it dosnt become a he said she said situation.

Haha so i dont have to keep hopping between lockers or cleansing totems to keep crows away? Just do emotes and no more crows?

    This sounds extremely broken.

I wouldnt suggest doing it for too long, if you do it for too long you could get reported (as you should) for holding the game hostage

  • @Godot said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/187276/survivors-taking-game-hostage-to-exploit-hatch

How is that taking the game hostage? It's clearly a strategy for Survivors, just like camping, tunneling and slugging are strategies for Killers.

Taking you two hours to finish a game just means you're bad at Killer, no offense.

Just because survivors can hide in a corner spaming emotes so they dont get crows does not make a killer bad or them good

  • Tbh it's a bad perk in general. 99% of perk builds with it are dh resilience spinechill and it and if your not running any of those your easy prey

  • while i do agree with you that the blight is weak rn the killers powers idea wise are fine. at a certain point in developing a game like dbd it gets hard to create new characters who are completely different. IE they cant have any other killers with ANY stealth powers without their powers being called "Just" ghostface/wraith/pig

  • @nursewannabe said:

If you're talking about sanctum of wrath, that "safety bubble" isn't safe at all, and if the killer vaults they get stuck too and no one can leave. The only solution is to DC. It's a bug similar to the hill bug.

from what ive seen survs could run through the sides fine and itd block the killer but only if the window was vaulted would they be stuck there so as long as they dont vault in they can leave whenever they like

  • @JawsIsTheNextKiller said:

The first time I see patch notes, I do a quick CTRL F and type "Decisive Strike".

One day something will come up.

Yeah, there gunna buff it again because of all the survs always whining about tunneling

  • Blights not licensed so i will say yes because every other non licensed killer you can buy with shards (I think)

  • Just disable her traps while shes busy carrying someone or right after she hits someone, by the time she is able to come over you should be far gone

  • @Woodywool said:

The devs changed it?! I didn't see it in patch notes....

it was in the 4.1.1 patchnotes under bug fixes
