If yes that's sounds insane. The first time I've read about it, I thought it was done in order to give a chance to survivors during that phase : any survivor on the ground could stand up and force the killer to make a choice between hooking and keep chasing. However, if it's also base-kit outside of that phase, it means the killer will not be able to use that mean of pressure to try to slow28 comments 721 views last activity

Here is something I don't fully understand. Incentive for survivor, is straightforward. After all, it's just a superficial change. Incentive for killer though ... I'm not as skilled with all the killers I play. So it's the same if I play Trapper, Blight or Mastermind? Is the survivor population skill that neatly distributed?3 comments 161 views last activity

... does it still shows on his profile when the ban has been lifted? I was checking the profiles from the list of jerks I've reported with proof over the years (mostly blatant cheaters) and I've seen a couple of unexpected things. I just want to know if I've wasted my time.14 comments 892 views last activity

A day or two ago, I was playing as Huntress on Haddonfield and I was aware my opponents weren't too experienced (200 to 600 hours). These mismatches happen late at night and as usual in these cases, I settled for just pushing them a bit. I was "forgetting" to hook, trying trick-shots instead of sure-shots and so on. I only hooked each of them once. When all gens were done, I've downed one and ho20 comments 341 views last activity

Yesterday, 00:20 CET, I was playing with a few friends and we all got kicked out of the trial because of a network error. It's 20 minutes later than the usual Steam maintenance (It used to be at midnight) but maybe it was it. What is surprising is that none of us got a DC penalty for it.0 comments 31 views last activity

I will try to play Spirit a bit more, I'm a bit rusty with her. If some of you play her regularly and have suggestions, e.g. @TheGannMan , I'm all ears ^_^7 comments 122 views last activity

Is it wrong to hide from the killer and wait for the others to die when finishing the gens feels like certain death? Context: It was Coal Tower, playing Huntress. At the start of the trial I identified the survivor spread and opted to go for a 3 gens. The game goes on, one dies, 3 are on death hook and I have my gens on the opposite side of he tower and a line of sight to all of them. My only d14 comments 61 views last activity

As everybody knows, there are several bad maps in this game and I've been sent to the worst ones consistently for three days in a row now. Sometimes "naturally" (thanks for that wonderful random distribution devs), sometimes by offering. I've lost my patience. I've started to play very nastily against any group (SWF or not, I don't care) that sends me to such a map (so basically MacMillan and A34 comments 81 views last activity

I believe there is some cheat telling what the killer will be. Otherwise there are too many coincidences that are not making sense. And someone was very lucky in a pre-trial survivor chat. (No, not a new player)7 comments 21 views last activity

Playing possibly my last matches before "reassurance" come to ruin solo-queue for good. I can't believe how dumb some players are. It's like they have no idea how a killer plays or even perceives the environment. Yet, their prestige is ten or above. The only thing I can imagine to explain that is they simply don't play killer, or not enough to understand. And if true, it makes sense that they20 comments 271 views last activity

I've been reviewing matches where I went against streamers. It's very informative. Most of them use perks, pallets, fakes, "techs", ... but there are two mistakes most of them do: They run and make noise, seemingly oblivious most killers use sound to track survivors. If the killer is close enough, don't run. They don't keep an eye on the killer when it's such an obvious tell of his possible3 comments 371 views last activity

I was in a match against relatively inexperienced survivors (somewhere between 500 and 1000 hours maybe), which wasn't too bad as I was on Blight and I'm really not good with it, so I'm training rushes first : winning is an afterthought. The map was Garden of Pain, with all its invisible collisions nonsense. After a few minutes, I managed to get three of them and planned to leave the hatch to th0 comments 41 views last activity

Legion, thana, good team, we pulled through by spreading the pain (anti-legion 101) : 1k Huntress, both iri add-ons, bbq, ruin + undying and nurse : 3k, lucky hatch spawn (Iridescent hatchet is the one add-on I'd feel dirty to use, it's a wonder nobody ever speaks about it, maybe because almost nobody uses it?) Executioner, a cheating parasite took the place of one of the survivors Demo, obviously one with some personal issues (kept hitting the last hook, and managed to miss some), camped like a champ, two hook-suicides, 4k Spirit, average, good team, 2k Birdie, proxy-camp, the team wasn't too good, 3k Dredge, pretty weak, good team, 0k Legion, but two worms had found their way in the match and pro18 comments 191 views last activity

It's kind of funny how some players don't imagine there are things happening when they aren't there. Two gens, one unhook, two heals (or was it one?), keeping the killer busy on a gen without ever being caught (sprint burst, predicting the phase outs and walking right behind, ...), I probably even looked competent (I'm not), one NOED popped exactly one second after it ignited and one door to 9913 comments 461 views last activity

I just played in a match with one of these waste of breath. It was level 69 and did about every cheat I've heard of in the match. I believe that parasite was subtle at the start of the match, but it may have realized it was caught when I've stopped moving at all (because with Kindred, I could see it speed-up crouched). edit: I've reported it, obviously, and could film a 17 minutes video fro5 comments 61 views last activity

I've kept track of my survivor games, just to see how good or bad it was now. Doctor: tunneling and camping, the team didn't play smart : 3 dead Bubba: nice match, only camped at the end, team was OK : 2 dead Bubba: utterly incompetent but with red addons and a very stupid team : take a guess Nurse: not too good and with strong addons (range + cooldown), the game was over the moment the St17 comments 351 views last activity

Every time we speak about cheaters and the hassle it is to report them, the same question comes to mind. Why can't we have recorded matches? For a better report system, having matches recorded would be very helpful. It would also help identifying speed-hackers quite easily (among others). The file would not need to be written on disk, it could be simply be kept in memory. The recording w7 comments 51 views last activity

Groups share the position of the killer when they see him. Make it so if a survivor has a line of sight on the killer, maybe also pointing at him so the killer isn't found automatically, other survivors get a notification on the survivor's icon telling that one has seen the killer. The notification should probably be delayed one or two seconds as even voice isn't instant.0 comments 1 views last activity

One information all groups have is when a survivor is being chased. Make it so a chased survivor's icon gives some notification to tell he is in a chase. It's already the case for the obsession, extend it for everyone.35 comments 291 views last activity

I've noticed one of my post was slightly edited and I don't know why the change was needed. Was it an accuracy problem or ... ? Being frustrated to the point you want to make a long pause is perfectly understandable. I've done it myself years ago and kept away for several months. (I even went a step further which let to my forum account to be reset and renamed when I came back, yeah, when I'm pissed, I'm pissed.) However, don't say you are uninstalling if you are not following through. The devs have statistics and know e14 comments 331 views last activity

I've noticed slightly longer killer queues yesterday evening, even if the player population stayed high. I'm guessing that means players usually going for survivor at that time went for killer instead. It means that survivors finally had smaller queues during the night (yay). I'm assuming some of these switches are because playing the M1 killers is easier at the moment (MMR woes plus survivors11 comments 131 views last activity

I've just played a match against pretty decent survivors. The play? Get them with Bloodwarden as Bubba, play the right amount of dumb and see if I can pull it off. I've done plenty of pointless chases, switching survivor like an idiot when I was about to exhaust options for each of them, until one gen was left (They were flying, obviously). I've just got this puzzling match. There was a survivor, everytime I was hitting him he got the deep-wound status. The first time I thought "weird, a septic I didn't notice?". The second time it made no sense. Every single time. In the end game screen, it was "dead hard". Apparently the fame I was hitting him, it was activated. Every. Single. Time. So far I got: _ hides in a locker while the killer is clearly away chasing the obsession, and unhooked after one stage. Could we wait for a few days after the next update to rant and cry about it? It's not like the devs will listen to uninformed comments anyway. If you are only doing it for the attention, then by all means carry on.6 comments 91 views last activity

Windows/Steam It's about the recurring rubber-banding issue. I don't know if I've ever reported that once, the "rubber-banding" issue happened while I was opening a locker. What happened is that the opening animation replayed. It's like if the game-time was being messed-up with. Just FYI.0 comments 31 views last activity

Most of the time when I play, be it killer or survivor, I don't really care about winning. Only about having fun or trying something stupid. I always give the hatch, I sacrifice my toon for a save, I use weak (or no) builds, I meme, that kind of stuff. However if I happen to be at 1 pip from ranking, something about losing progression so close to a "save point" pushes me to go nuclear. Of course1 comments 41 views last activity

I'm clearing the dailies and since I'm going against utter beginners today I've decided to quickly do the Onryo one. Gods it feels so bad to use. No wonder I only have 3 green perks equipped : I can't recall the last time I've played her (release day maybe, up until I got her "adept"). Once her perks are available to the other killers, she is just a wasted slot.12 comments 321 views last activity

The pick rate and the win rate would be interesting, a division by MMR bracket would be nice too. Then, a month or two after the update we could look what these number became, along with an update on the perks (for both roles)2 comments 71 views last activity

Survivors are rage-quitting at first down in almost every single match, I feel like I'm grouped with a kindergarten class of ever-melting snowflakes. Every few games, I get a good one where I can try things otherwise its just DC, DC, DC, DC ... Strangely, it doesn't happen with the survivors I'm grouped with. Without some kind of barrier to stop repeat DCers to play, it is just a big waste o16 comments 241 views last activity
