Yes but it would only work if you are in his heartbeat. If not there is a chance he will see you get into the locker. And a smart Freddy will probably think you jumped into a locker if you break chase and just disappear. Also unless you are in an SWF this won't help you to wake up, leading you to get caught when you come out anyway.
-
Same. I imagine that it might need further tweaking because with the 100% activation I could see it being REALLY annoying during a chase or something.
I personally think that it should make the killer not disturb crows too. And someone else had mentioned something about having the crows look in the direction of survivors, I like that too. Maybe cut down the activation percentage and do those things instead.

Maybe Snake? He sets mines I think that's the closest to a trap that exists in Smash that isn't an item.

Against the most top tier survivors? No. They will just power through gens anyway and/or find your totem super fast and easy.
Against the average survivor? Yes. It cripples them. They spend way too much time looking for the totem or tapping gens to get any real progress done.
-
It's because of WASD. If they are holding W to run straight then press D, they will now instantly move at a 45° angle because WASD is a digital, or "on/off", input. This makes them "wiggle" as you put it because the animation jerks from one direction to another in a single frame. It's nothing but a jank animation you're seeing as they are just running at an angle instead of straight ahead.
-
I would kinda want this just because, as a survivor main, it disappoints me when I play killer and leave a hook so the guy can be saved only for no one to save the poor dude and he dies on first hook. It's like I'm not gonna camp the guy, I might come back to the hook but I won't tunnel them unless I have to. JUST SAVE HIM! Sometimes I sit across the map and watch the guy saying "someone save him, someone save him, please someone save him". If you are a survivor in my game and don't save that guy I'm going to go around and spank all of you for being bad survivors.
-
That hook kind of drives me a bit crazy as killer because I would rather hook in the basement, and when I see that hook I tend to think to myself basement is not here, only to see later that it is. Yea you spend more time getting the hook, but basement is a very unsafe place to be as survivor, especially if it's killers like Hag, LF, Huntress, or Trapper as they all have very strong basement play.
I'm indifferent really if it stays or goes.
-
Don't aim for them directly. Before they 360 you most players will zigzag back and forth to get you to move your camera back and forth. If you do that you will wiff. You have to look straight ahead and aim for the middle of the zigzag. Alternatively you can moonwalk as you swing and they 360 into you.
-
Just to be clear, you don't have personal info somewhere freely on the internet that someone could find by searching your gamertag would it? If not, I'm curious to know how this guy got that info.

I see it as pointless. You have potato survivors and campy/tunnely killers at all ranks. People that think deranking will give them a better experience are fooling themselves.

Nah, these should remain exclusives. If you were playing when they were up for grabs great... if not.. sorry.
Except that the game was seriously bugged during the Lunar event. I couldn't play killer much if at all because my game would constantly crash on console.
The Hallowed Blight event items can be bought with Auric cells. I don't see why other event items can't be bought that way either.
No.
I am on console as well. It wasn't bugged. It wasn't reflecting your coin totals, but it was still counting them and 2 days in @not_Queen stated this.
It was fine. Besides it was a long event. That's on you.
The exclusive items should remain exclusive. Period.
LOL dude during the event my game would crash 1 out of every 3 games. So did most of my friends. The game was broken during the event. Killer or survivor. And if the game crashed, no you did not get credit for the stuff you did. I got David's jacket just because it was a lot easier and cheaper to play survivor than killer. If my game crashed I could find another game super fast. As killer though it would take upwards of 10 minutes to fill a lobby, and then if the game crashed I get 4 reports against me and lose my add-ons. Maybe you're console was immaculate and never crashed but it was indeed a thing all during the event. Some of my friends outright refused to play because the crashing was so bad.
But yea go ahead and tell me again that it's fair I had to give up an event item because I literally could not play the game.

- All other issues you listed are lag related as Killers are the hosts and there is no confirmed lagswitch on console yet, only a lot of confirmed cases of players sucking and leeching off McD's wifi.
Dedicated servers come in summer, till then we have to live with it.
Lagswitch does indeed happen on console, both Xbox and PS. I've experienced it in DBD before. Not that frequent on Xbox at least because MS will ban you for it, but it does happen. The reason you don't hear about it much is because it can only happen in p2p games, and a lot of Xbox games nowadays have dedicated servers.
Maybe, and if it does i hope they get banned for it, however i never seen one myself and some of footage i have seen on public reports were laggy in general.
Plus they are on borrowed time anyway.
You never experienced it because almost no one does it. I have over 1500 hours in the game on Xbox and have only been lagswitched by 1 player that I can confirm (maybe 1 or 2 others I can't). But it can be done. This player in particular I played against multiple times, and he lagswitched against both me and my friend. If you use a FL on him, he starts to chase you and the game suddenly starts to lag really hard. Killer will be running into a wall while you get hit and go down. Then suddenly you are either being carried to a hook or on a hook. Immediately after the lag completely goes away. This happened CONSISTENTLY against this player, there is no way it's just normal lag.
People tend to think lag switching or modding is impossible in console online games. This is 100% false, it's just that it's far more rare on consoles because the chance of getting banned is very very high, and most games used dedicated servers now making it impossible to mod/lagswitch. Case and point here is a video I recorded of Gears 2 on Xbox 360 where the other team modded the game to give themselves super speed, 100k ammo, and insta-down/insta-gib weapons:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ct02OeFbh6ILagswitch was also a common thing in Gears 2. However neither of these things happen in the game anymore because dedicated servers make them impossible.

Unless we are talking Nurse or Huntress, I disagree that m/kb is necessary in this game. This isn't CSGO where you need pixel perfect accuracy with your camera. Turn your sensitivity over 80 as killer and you can turn fast enough to counter 360's or look around objects very quickly. The reason so many killers get juked is because they never up their sensitivity. Trust me, as both a killer and a survivor, you won't 360 a good killer even on console. Also Xbox is getting native m/kb support soon. They keep pushing it back and pushing it back but it should be happening by the summer at least.
But my main points WERE about nurse and huntress. I already knew all the other stuff you said. That and a lot of the points were about how it wouldn't be unfair to controller players because that is a common objection raised. It would be nice to see something on PS4 also, since thats dev by dev from what I understand. It's the bigger of the two consoles by a significant margin, so most console players are going to be on there.
DBD has more players on PS4 than Xbox because it was free for a time. When DBD shows up on Xbox G4G it will get a similar boost.
And m/kb support is on the console maker not the developers. BHVR can't just give you m/kb support on consoles if the consoles don't support it. You should be bugging Sony for m/kb native support on PS4.

As someone that plays Trapper I would like this however I think it could lead to very broken situations.
For example, if basement is at shack and you hook a survivor there, you can set up a trap at both doors and inside the window to make it IMPOSSIBLE to go into the shack without needing to disarm a trap.
Now the way it is currently, if Trapper does this he too can't enter the shack without having to reset a trap and waste a little bit of time. If a survivor were to drop the pallet to vault into the shack safely, or use DH to avoid a trap that's a smart move. But if Trapper wasn't affected by his traps this would be a bad move, since the Trapper can just return to the shack and lock you both inside with him. At the very least by stepping in his trap you gain some extra time to make the save. The fact he has to either eat his own trap or pick it up is what gives you guys the opportunity to escape. If he didn't have to do that, there is no opportunity and it's just an inescapable situation. And yea, if a Trapper does this now it's pretty safe to say the guy is gonna die and it will be REALLY hard to save him, but there is still that sliver of a chance to do it if you play everything perfect.
Maybe if there was an add-on that let you do this that would be fair. But I get the feeling that if you made this change to Trapper he could put you in unwinnable situations very easily. Technically he can do that now too, but it requires the right RNG and smart trap placements, with a bit of luck too.

We do.I am assuming The Legion change you are referring to is this one:
The Deep Wound timer now starts at 20 seconds (instead of 30 seconds) when an injured survivor is hit by Feral Frenzy. The timer for Feral Frenzy hits on healthy survivors remains at 30 seconds. This change is currently being tested on the PTB and is originally and idea coming from the Community.
If you don't like the change, you can just give your feedback here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/-2-5-0-ptb
It's a very bad idea. Being able to 2 hit an injured survivor with just 1 Frenzy is really really stupid and broken.

Probably because most survivors are scared and don't understand the game. These players don't understand the importance of acting when action needs done. An optimal survivor will RUN for an unhook if they see someone else go down. A scared survivor will immerse their way over slowly, only to get caught before they get there because of BBQ.

Why not just make 1 post and keep updating it? Seems more conducive to your point if you have a running record of things.

Copy/paste it into Excel. Make sure to put = before it. It's 53. You can use percent or decimals it works both ways.
The correct formula is (16/0.8)/0.5, or (16/80%)/50% since you seem to insist decimals are not percentages.
@ChesterTheMolester Thank you! Exact same numbers I got from doing the math.

0.25 and 25% are the same. Regardless, that's not even what I'm talking about. I'm tell you that you don't just group all the variables together. You apply Sloppy FIRST then SC.

LOL are you serious? Want more evidence you are wrong?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_1Jh_LgWbgTrue starts to heal at 6:48 and heals until 7:18, that's 30 seconds and the bar is about 75% full. Extrapolate that to a full heal:
30/X = 75/100 solve for X is 40. IT TAKES 40 SECONDS TO SC WITH SLOPPY. The same number you get with the CORRECT formula.
If we follow your math, 16/((1-50%)-20%) it would take 53 seconds, which is WRONG. But go ahead and tell me again how I'm trolling you.

When you do the math for the game it's the number of charges divided by charges per second. By default, everything moves at 1 charge per second.Healing takes 16 seconds, either when you heal someone else or use a medkit with no other buffs/debuffs. Self Care on live heals at 50% speed, so 16/0.5 = 32 seconds. Sloppy is applied to the base healing, so 16/0.8 = 20 seconds. SC applies after Sloppy, so it's (16/0.8)/0.5 = 40 seconds.
On PTB here is the math:
SC - 16/0.75 = 21.3 (~11 seconds faster than live)
SC + Sloppy - (16/0.8)/0.75 = 26.7 (~5 seconds faster than SC only on live, and ~13 seconds faster than SC + Sloppy on live). So at the end of the day, the PTB SC is only 5 seconds slower with Sloppy, whereas it's 8 seconds slower on live.
you was almost right with formula.
16/((1-25%)-20%) will be 26.666666(7)it affects only charge gain speed. Requermet always stays the same. so with new SC and under SB you gain yourself (1-25%)-20% charges per second wich is 0.6
16/0.6 = 26.6666(7)
now with BK
16/((1-25%)+33%) = .............. 16? no 16.04
HELL! (1-25%)+33%= 0.9975So now lt's count SC + SB + BK
16/(((1-25%)-20%)+33%) = 20.05
((1-25%)-20%)+33% = 0.798Thath a hell of a fast healing!
No because if we follow that math for the live version then it's 16/(1-0.25-0.5) which comes out to 64 seconds which is incorrect. Sloppy applies first to the base heal, 16/0.8 = 20 seconds. Then SC applies, so it's 20/0.5 = 40 seconds.
that's why i'm using % instead 0.25
try it your self
not 0.25 but 25%
0.25 is 25% SMH
And regardless you are still doing the math wrong. SC with Sloppy takes 40 seconds. We don't get that if we use your formula, we get 64 seconds. It does NOT take 64 seconds to SC with Sloppy.

The location of the variable in the formula makes a big difference. The game does not lump them all together, they all appear in different spots and therefore have different effects based on what came before.

Legion with Frank's Mixtape can now 2 hit down in Frenzy an injured survivor. That's a bit ridiculous. To me it seems like all of Legion's issues can be solved by just changing this add-on. That's really what makes him broken in every case, is that he has to hit you 1 less time to down you. That just shouldn't ever be a thing.

I'm a very sensitive killer main. I try to accommodate all my victims and treat them in the most humane way possible as I curb stomp their brains out. When a Nea bullies a Jeff I go, "Nea, stop that" and I hit her with something. Then I hit Jeff because now Jeff felt left out. Sharing is caring.

@Poweas That's an okay build, but if you want to beat insta-heals you need something Exposed. NOED or MYC are the best for Spirit. I wouldn't use HG because it's her perk and people would expect it and not do the totem, plus 60 seconds is almost nothing at the end of the day. Devour could be a good choice but it's very RNG dependent so you take that risk.
