I don't think you missed anything, i think the game just said LOL MINE.
Might wanna report this as a bug.
Big oof can support maybe give me the map back? Lol
-
Oh yeah i love this im tired of hitting the killer with the pallet and even get the stun notification and still get hit. Grabs i hate patting the survivors shoulder for 30 seconds before they run away.
-
@Mandy said:
I believe this is intentional - I've seen it spawn there a few times now.
Huh i always thought the rule was hatch would always spawn on the bottom floor (like the game) for logic reasons.
-
I play legion and doctor during these events. They are farming because im making them by simply playing legion or doc. Legion i run lethal pursuer to get a ff hit chain as quick as possible. If you can keep up the pressure from it thats when ruin comes into play. Bbq obviously. And thana because theyll spend the time healing giving ruin value.

@Orion said:
I just want the crowns, not interested in actually playing killer, for the reasons everyone already knows. Can someone confirm?
...no? Although i think the devs have said in the past about repeatedly going afk if it happens enough idk how theyd track that though.

@Damarus said:
Hmmm... Does that work for all survivors, independently of who brought the anniversary cake offering? Because, I can't remember for sure, but I am quite certain that happened even when I put an escape cake offering, because I didn't have any anniversary ones.
Its supposed to be personal but i wouldn't be surprised if it slipped through and gave it to everyone.

@supersonic853 said:
Ive played like 20 matches over yesterday and today and i haven't noticed a difference really with or without the offering.
Shows crown within 8 meters and audio cue when it moves.

And every other pallet can be played by a no blink nurse. It’s just garbage design because they ported over a resident evil area and expected it to work
At least they realized maybe breakable walls aint workin and didnt put them fricken everywhere.

@Orion said:
Shows the crown's aura and apparently plays an audio cue when the pedestal changes locations.
Oh i did notice the audio cue but i thought that was how it worked last year lol. Kinda cool.

@CakeDuty said:
I get plenty of cakes on my killers (like 2/3 each bloodweb), but because survivors also have 3 event items of same rarity, I'm lucky if I can get at least one cake on them per bloodweb. :/
Yeah i wish theyd lower their spawn rate i have way more of them then the offering.

The details.
THE DETAILS!!
Things like hearing the safe room music when entering one of the typewriter rooms.
Oh my god. I’m in love with the amount of authenticity, mixed with twists from The Entity.
Bravo BHVR. Bravo 👏🏻
I love it but ive been playin billy so when i loaded in i was like "yep this is gonna suck" lol.

@Northener1907 said:
What happened? 15 minutes i am waiting for find match.
BP cakes are active for survivors too, why everyone are playing killer? What is point?
Been in que for 20 minutes for survivor.
-
I just hope they make cakes more common. I don't need these 50 event items. This is one of the best times to lower the grind. Im glad crowns work now though. And obviously a extension would be nice at least for the poor console players.
-
Devs let there be cake!
-
Yeah with the 4 other possible event stuff it makes the cakes so rare for survivor. Guess im grinding killer for it again.
-
I have barely seen any. I don't want like 50 flashlight toolboxes and medkits but like 5 offerings. Anyone else?
-
That sucks i kept a 4th anniversary flashlight medkit and toolbox because i wanted to keep one for each. Im a collector and this hurts.
-
@Phasmamain get the fallout shelter.
-
https://youtu.be/noLG0TucFGs
ive had this happen to me a couple of times. Come back to the hook to just see the injured survivor running away but the unhooker vanished. And since the teammate didn't pull aggro i have to go after the only available survivor. If they are on death hook and im feeling some mercy ill slug them because i don't want to just kill them if im having a good game.
-
I feel like noed has the old ruin undying problem. Most survivors didn't spend times doing bones because if its a high pressure killer you don't want to spend another gens worth of time doing bones. Noed even if it doesnt activate pretty much gives the killer free pressure as the survivors have to spend all that time on totems. This is coming from someone who uses counterforce/smallgame inner strength. DH for distance is just dumb and lacks counterplay full stop.

@kisfenkin said:
Someone just brought a 5th year cake to my match. I've been leveling and I'm not getting any anniversary stuff.
So, how'd they get one?
Sure it wasnt the 4th or 3rd?
-
@Jkkola said:
Just wondering if this would be considered a bug or not.
During a match as legion I lunged at a survivor pointing a flashlight at me while in feral frenzy and right as the hit connected I was blinded which made me leave feral frenzy and down the surv instead of applying deep wounds.
Thats been a thing just like the pallet legion tech.
-
Is that it? Most people i know say its because the games been pretty unplayable and the chapter was pretty bad for being a big license.

Or they saw it as violating the "don't make light out of a serious issue" rule :/
Oh...yeah probably. Still got baited though so whos the real winner.
-
Wait did a mod get baited and change the title? Lol

@Science_Guy said:
OP sounds like the kind of survivor that hides in a corner until someone finds then if they ever get injured.
Ya know most of this was a joke post in response to "dear killer mains" and just reminding people there was a thing called the depip squad who would literally rush gens and let people die on hooks to do gens as fast as possible. (So both sides can hard focus on their objective tunneling isnt just a killer only thing)
Also im a rank 1 claud with for the people borrowed time resilence and spinechill. (So i am mostly injured) and i do just fine. Infact im stronger while injured with this build lol
-
I feel like if the entity ever became a killer itd be like ssj4 gogeta in fighterz (where they throw a op af character in because the games not supposed to be competitive) and the entity would have some insane shiet.
-
@Munqaxus said:

It could be that the survivors didn't bring "self-care" because it's a bad perk and expected their teammate to heal them. They probably wanted to finish the gen before allowing their teammate to heal them or they didn't find a teammate yet.
This is probably a good reason to buff "self-care" a bit so it slows down gens as survivors start using it again.
Nah ive had matches where legitimately 2 survivors instead of spending the time to heal would both hop on 1 gen together. So i think its just they don't want to spend the however many seconds to heal eachother and would rather get gens done fast AF.
-
@Munqaxus said:
Well, the more the killer is designed to negate loops, the more survivors only option to waste killers time is to press W. Nemesis, Pyramid Head and Deathslinger almost completely negate looping which creates really boring game play for survivors because the better option becomes running in a straight line.
The thing is like scott and tofu said (and i have a equal opinion of) is this isnt good for either sides because these killers still lose to survivors just holding m1 and remaining as split as possible. So you have a scenario where the survivors have no fun because this entire killers powers to negate loops. And the killers having no fun because they are still losing despite their 1v1 power. Noone really wins.
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:
I don't think killer mains, but people who see things mostly from a killer perspective. A lot of people play both sides however have a serious preference to one side, so most of their opinions and decisions are made with that preference in mind- for example, I prefer playing survivor despite maining killer due to queue times and the fact that teammates are... yeah, teammates, so most of my opinions are formed from the perspective of someone who enjoys survivor.
A lot of people on these forums see things from a killer perspective, and that's completely okay. Lord knows that without killers continuing to play we wouldn't have a game and survivors have, and do still, need serious nerfs.
But on the flip side it's good to have people from a survivor perspective because there are definitely issues with playing survivor that need to be resolved, as well as having people who play impartially to reign everyone in when their ideas get far too absurd.
Agreed but i feel im in a weird group. Im a 50/50 but actually play a bit more in survivor but i see stuff from killers pov. Guess because i regularly play with a fairly good 4 man. So i know how much power i have as a survivor if i actually play to the best of my ability. Now that doesn't mean i don't hate stuff killers do of course but i just know where most the power is. I just thought some people would find it weird i have views opposite of the side i play more lol.

These forums never cease to amaze me.
For years looping was frowned upon and dubbed ring around the roses. Now some players are adapting to less looping and more juking by running to another area while the killer still expects the survivor to be there.
I thought this is what the player base wanted?
I don't understand the argument at all, it just seems silly as previously running and dropping pallets is what past killers wanted as it left less resources on the map. Past players used to love when survivors did this instead of looping so what has changed?
Are some players so used to others looping one area that they have lost all tracking skills?
Yeah but isnt it the games changed? Survivors have gotten a lot quicker. This isnt hide and seek anymore. Just holding w saves 40-50 seconds each. As the game progressed survivors realized how quick they can do a objective. And now theyre starting to figure out with killers like slinger ph and doctor why not just run forward? You get 20 seconds minimum from first smack. Its just how much smarter both sides have gotten to how to play the game. So in answer to your question a lot changed.
-
The funniest thing is the devs havent pinned this but its one of the most popular posts ive ever seen
-
Agreed i loved the old system its better to not be able to keep your promise for whatever reason then never say anything at all and just go without feedback.
-
Because devs don't want you dodging the random rank 20 a rank 1 decided to bring in. (Idk how many games ive lost to this its been a lot though) sure ranks don't matter for the most part but in my experience when i see a rank 20 at the end they normally died fairly quickly.

@Sluzzy said:
Survivors have no ways to hide. Maps are already way too small and most loops have been made unsafe. Because pallets are sooooo severely limited, extending the chase is the only option. Killers don't need it any easier with smaller maps. Killers like Blight are too oppressive on even the largest maps.
Killers need a nerf.
Would it kill you to be serious for like 5 seconds especially when this hurts your main killer as well? Nurse suffers from hold w a lot surprisingly.
-
Ey. How ya doin?
-
The survivor trained under nurse.

@Mandy said:
yes, keys do not require any charges in order to be able to open the hatch...the charges relate to the other benefits of the item just not the hatch opening.
Yeah kinda makes the "better franklins" useless huh?
-
Not to mention bubba can just pull out his saw at every pallet and break it and have the saw back like...2 seconds later? If that. Bubba has overtaken billy i feel now as a very good bubba can keep up the pressure and his camping potential makes him good as well. Theres just advantages bubba and oni have over billy.

Yes there has, and that survivor is Quentin
I was gonna mention a moment but i didn't feel like rambling. It was the gen in badham that spawns upstairs the house and theres only like the door way in. I walked up and bodyblocked the door and the quentin slowly turned around and looked at me. I said sorry sir have a nice day and walked away.
-
Mobile has a bloodhunt once a month. Idk why the main game hasnt had one for years.
-
Id say any chapters that had 2 survivors could get another killer for fairness. So stranger things and resident evil both couls get another killer to match the 2 survivors.
-
Ya know if their so unable to disable stretched. Just make a fov slider. "But that can give a advantage!?" So? Pc players can already get that advantage themselves. And mclean said the main problem with j-flick was it was a pc only advantage. When everyone can have that stretched resolution and they balance accordingly there is no advantage then. Also im tired of running shadowborne on some killers because i feel sick otherwise.
-
It (as everyone else has stated) was just because it completly countered a killers power. The other 2 examples of calm spirit and spine chill calm spirit i think only disables the scream the doc can still see your madness go up and get the points basically showing your still in their tr. Spinechill is a more debated one. Despite however many people come to spinechills defense it does HARD counter two killers. Michael and ghostface. They are forced to look at you for their power. Almo addressed this in a stream a while ago "we don't like when a perk hard counters a killers power, i know spinechill... i know. It takes a while to get everything consistent over time". So spinechill may get its due in the future.

Oh boi it's another stretch res discussion...
I mean bhvrs kinda asking for it for constantly saying "don't do it its against the rules as it is a exploit" but then they don't actually do anything about it. Either lock the aspect ratio or just make it you can't edit the file.

If memory serves correctly, Exit Gate blockers only pop up as someone who can't escape approaches the Exit.
Did they? I remember seeing the spikes pop up from a good distance away. Coulda been a bug though.

I just went against a freddy with blood warden, since I'm solo some random opened the door a few seconds before someone got hooked. I looked at the door I opened after he hooked the other person and there was no blood warden. So I went for the save and got chased, I ran back to my door wanting to escape but I couldn't because just as I went to the finish line; blood warden.
Did I not see it because I opnened my door after blood warden got activated? and if so, is it intentional/was it always that way? or is it a visual bug I should report because I remember clearly that you could see blood warden from a distance?
I hope some someone can clarify that for me so I know better for the next time :)
Oh did they make it so you didn't see the spikes till you got close enough? Yo thatd be a cool buff if so. It sucks when a survivor can see the spikes from far away so they just hide.

People actually want post game chat? But why
For me its to say gg lol. If im worried the end game chat will be bad ill just leave right away problems solved. That or just make it a option because im fine for getting called a toxic tryhard.
