Hm... i didnt have to much problems. Maybe i havent gotten a fast enough game. But i do run ruin,bbq,her scourge, and her hex to make the game fairly slow and keep the pressure up.

I don't have an answer to that I'm afraid...as I said, these are my personal feelings on the matter (although I also think I'm right lol).
It's also been in the game since release, probably something that does need to get looked into.
I was gonna say shroud of binding and seperation both work against their own users because of how split pressure works in this game. 4 survivors on 4 different gens vs 4 survivors on 1 gen. For lethal I like but dislike it because it makes me hate some of the spawns when i see 4 survivors all start on different gens lol.

That's actually exactly what you don't want as a killer - to have all 4 survivors separated at the start, and all be working on separate gens. That's pretty much 3 gens lost instantly after the first chase.
Then why is it the killers offering? (I just personally hope a offering pass is planned and its one of the ones that changes)

It's a maybe on this one.

Why do you think it cannot down people without an add-on? It has literally zero counterplay

Literally the best ranged power in the game????
Demogorgon shred
Most likely.
Pyramid Heads POTD
Absolutely.
Blights lethal rush
Yes?!
Victors pounce
Yes?!?!
Tricksters blades
Please tell me this is satire.
Nemesis tentacles
Almost certainly.
Artist crows
Yes
There's a reason they don't trigger exposed. There's a reason iri head has such a drawback to it.
Yeah on the nemesis thing i remember seeing suggestions if hes already in tier 3 for the tentacle to injure as well as infect. Id go for that over allowing it to work on exposed lol. He needs a buff but not that much.
-
Yeah id tell how to do it because i figured it out myself but i don't wanna get silenced so.

As a Billy main, I'm gonna shoot this down. Bubba can be hard to learn, but once you learn the basics youve practically nailed him outside a few tricks.
Billy on the other hand has so much to him while having to be more precise.
Billy main as well. I found it easier to master billys curve compared to curving around objects as bubba. I also found i applied more pressure as billy especially with buffs to engravings. But this is just my own experience of playing the two of them so.
-
For the people who suggest "For The People". For The People isnt counted as healing its considered "transfusion" in fact the challenge that had "For The People" in it had a different wording if i remember correctly "transfer the equivalent of a health state to another survivor"

@Mooks said:
i would definitely like to try it.
always hated first person view in games actually but I guess playing killer made me more comfortable with it.
i guess it needs some adjustments besides obvious UI work. I don’t want to looks at gens for so long for example.
Well while survivors are on gens sometimes they do look to the left and right so maybe allow that? Just obviously you cant 360 your head while on a gen.

Gives me a headache but I don't think it would bring back the horror vibes from the first time you played DBD. You're just too used to how the game works now. Might be fun for another mode and probably eliminates the problem with widescreen.
Idk a tinkerer billy with his chainsaw revd just popping up behind me with no warning i might scream lol. Or like the no warning swings from ghostface while shrouded. But i guess those 2 already can kinda scare people. Oh and first person lockers imagine just hearing the TR and suddenly the door opens lol.

Would be interesting if they would make it as a event mode or something. First person would make play Survivor feel super fun I think.
Jmagine for example Oni rushing towards you and you see him just few meters behind you when you turn around :D
Ah Shi- SLAMB
Myers might be even more terrifying with scratched mirror as well.

Even though you have a separate MMR score across Killers, I would assume it is exactly the same system and calculations in use for each. So I think any oddities you've spotted are probably coincidental.
It could just be your MMR is higher for playing those Killers (definitely makes sense for Blight, as he is one of the easier Killers to win with), so you just see better teams more often.
I rarely ever play blight and i don't think that most of my games ive played with him are 4ks. Meanwhile my billy has a 4k streek of 15 so far and yet i havent gotten a god team. Infact i just played on badham and the survivors let me get a 4k basement because i downed two and put em in the basement the other 2 got greedy and got downed so i just hooked all 4 of them. I guess can happen to the best teams though.
-
Yeah either stomping or getting stomped has made the game pretty tastless. But ill admit im addicted and find entertainment in the Littlest things so.

Sacrificial Ward
1 green offering to counter how many map offerings that are in survivors favour when it comes to offerings? Not to mention its 4 bloodwebs vs 1. So on my most leveled up killer currently i have 10 sacrifical wards. My survivor has 14 haddonfields. My 3 swf teammates have more then me. 40 haddonfields at least. The killer also has to guess its coming or the sacrifical is burned for nothing which is very bad for a green.

yeah making it so its only you and with how low the droprate already is for survivor and doubtful you will do 5 gens on your own to even match the price of 1 isnt worth it in the slightest.

Laughs in rat liver.

It was supposed to be the meme addon, but I saw good use it in it early on.
Survivors are going to have to work with the sickness unless they want long ass games, so it actually really works out!
Yeah up to 110 seconds of no doing the gen or your broken very quickly gives plague so much pressure lol. Ive had survivors dc call me trash and call the addon broken day 1 lol.

Huh i always thought itd be in game stuff to make me maybe quit. But this was the last thing i expected to see because i thought they were better. Guess not.

Yeah, lets go for the worst case-scenario, very realistic.
Let alone that built to last is very bad with Toolboxes (and not good in general).
I mean not really worst case scenario for me...i have 3 friends...we all have like tons of commodious toolboxs with a tons of bnps and wirespools. Its not very difficult to just bring in the same items...and we know how to split the bnps to get value. Throw on haddonfield as well and have the time of your life lol.
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
So an investment of 16k BPs to remove 27 seconds of a Gen at best.
Toolboxes are OP. /s
Until you get into all 4 survivors running it with prove thyself or streetwise or built to last with its buff.

Tremendously increases the chance of the survivors not using an offering
You forgot the secondary effect "will play haddonfield after you eventually run out from missing"

And then after 54 Haddonfields u bring another survivor map.... Those who suggest to bring Sacrificial wards probably have billions of them otherwise it's BS.
Yeah and considering only like 3 maps are killer favored and 1 is leaving (hawkins) id say theres a high chance of having an easy time as survivor for a long time if we wanted to use all our map offerings. We just don't.
-
@R2k said:
Guys, correct me if I'm wrong but if i want to play random map but face 5 Haddonfield offerings in a row it's my fault? Imho, offerings should exist only in custom games.
I mean the 4 man i play with i have 13 haddonfield another has 12 another has 20 and another 9. So...54 haddonfields? Considering a killer and survivors map offerings are equal in power theres a high chance at least half of those will hit if say the killer ran their own to counter it.

Suiciding on the hook is not a reportable offence at all.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules
I mean if your just every game loading in and killing yourself on first hook then your refusing to participate in normal gameplay and ruining the other peoples time since they have to play a 3v1 basically vs the killer. Id assume repeatedly doing this would be unsportsmanlike. Its like in raibow six siege or overwatch just jumping off the edge over and over repeatedly. (Big surprise thats bannable)

######### they're gonna make me play billy, which I always end up regretting 😭
You do break the pallet slower but just use the buffed mothers helpers youll break the pallet faster.
-
@Aneurysm said:
I doubt it'll stack with enduring, that would just be zero stun right? Might stack with brutal though.
I think its multpicitive not additive. So itd be a 75% stun not a 100% but it takes longer to break the pallet. (Your trading lesser stun for slower pallet break) but if you use mothers helpers you already would break it quicker so some synergy.

Yes, that's exactly what it means. When you can basically demolish everyone with just the BASE POWER, adding strong addons on top of that is just stupid.
Blight has both strong base power and addons so does spirit. Why cant nurse? A killer shouldn't have a addon that literally works against them at least (like old match box and vanity mirror did) especially considering one was iri and other purple.
-
I know people dislike nurse having good addons because of her base power. But a killer should always have good power and addons. Just because nurse is the "strongest killer" doesnt mean her addons need to be a meme.

But then if there's a game breaking bug with that character, that's surely for the best yes?
Yeah i guess so. What constitutes the line for gamebreaking though? I mean pinhead had a bug on release he literally could not lunge. Or Nemesis would cause the game to crash when hed pull out a tentacle was another on release bug.
-
@Mandy said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2516843#Comment_2516843
That's not how it works.
The Kill Switch is going to be purely if there's an issue with something - so if a cosmetic is bugged, a perk is bugged (remember the issue with Breakdown Perk?). It will work on characters as well, but only if there's an actual issue with something. It's not if there's complaints about a character etc, but if there's an actual game breaking bug with something.
My only problem with killswitching characters is i cant play a killer i paid for until the next patch comes around. Which would kinda suck since say nemesis got disabled. Hes one of my best killers.
-
@Orion said:
Come on, they literally said "for the most part", but everyone's acting like they said "we're 100% satisfied and have no intention of changing him in any way whatsoever".
This is why the devs don't communicate with us. They say X, people distort it to mean Y.
For the most part means adding an entire new mechanic and changing pretty much all his addons and animations? I don't even feel like im playin the same billy base. (Not because of the overheat but because of animations and fov) They also even said the changes where "minimal" everything changed...?

If i remember correctly mclean took wraith on as his project along with blight. He wanted them both to have amazing addons that actually fit their role as the killer and all seeing blood was one of them. Personally i like it because it actually gives wraith some scare factor in a 4v1 game. Hes faster he can see you and you don't know when hes gonna pop around the corner. Honestly i feel people are so used to the gimped addons once a very good one is around people think its busted. I find it balanced.

i don't really know maybe yeah its the same in pc. (whether its intended or not is another thing lol)

@Yamaoka said:
You can do in settings. My R2 / RT is for breaking chains/healing others/repairing gens and A button is for dropping pallets/vaulting windows.
Seems to work for me anyways
yeah ive done that as well but theres still stuff like lockers next to windows (since fast jump into locker is the same as vault window and this cant be changed) as well as recovery on the ground being the same as jump into hatch. (See first vid) Same on the killer side pick up survivor being the same as vault window (the classic)

Killers can also use and explout stretched res, and one look at a lot of "high tier" killers shows they do use it, as well as filters. This exploit should be fixed for both sides.
The irony is i remember mclean saying one big problem with j-flick was only pc people could use it because of turn limits on controllers. So console didn't even get to use it. Yet stretched has been like that forever. (Filters are allowed but are also pc exclusive so)

^ this
I used this Add-On to get my Adept with Pinhead. But other than that, I would not use it. It is such an easy removal of an Health State, it is laughable.
And I dont think he needs it because some people think he is weak. After playing him for some time, he is not weak at all. Not saying he is a very powerful Killer and will be a contestant for the Top 5, but he is decent and fun to play as.
I do agree with the sentiment that its a lot of work for not much reward in some cases. Nurse blink into skill shot into pathing to make sure they can't break the chains easily or you don't break them on accident. Not to mention even if you do all that the chains could just randomly spawn in walls and do nothing. Probably not a console favorite. His redeeming trait is honestly the chainhunts.

That’s not how it works dude undying is there to protect the hex, not allow the ex to work twice when undying was taken out early on in the match it said it was haunted grounds , watch the video, at the end when I took out the other hex I was exposed and it did not say it was haunted grounds in fact at the beginning of the match when I was first exposed it said haunted grounds, so what the hell exposed me when I took out the second hex , it sure as hell wasn’t haunted cuz it was taken out early in the match
- When another Perk's Hex Totem is cleansed, its Hex is transferred to the Hex: Undying Totem, including any accumulated Tokens, disabling Hex: Undying instead.
Pretty sure it is.
