Yeah that's a pretty good idea and although I can see survivors complaining the killer knows their perks thing it's 1 perk and until it gets adjusted is fine.
-
Would people stop harping on in game voice chat it's not the golden fix you think it is nor will it ever be and people won't give up Discord to use in game not happening. You all keep magically thinking people are going to suddenly jump into in game voice and give up Discord.
What about people that play solo without mics, you're now going to buff killers up and absolutely smoke them because of your pipe dream that has absolutely no basis in reality. Then what happens if people decide not to use the in game voice or simply mute it due to the obvious reasons?
Well guess what now you've got killers buffed to that level but people aren't using it so again the solo players get wrecked because the illogical pipe dream idea became a nightmare. When I play solo I won't ever use in game voice and when i'm with friends we won't join randos voice or invite them to ours.
@weirdkid5 If you buff solo up to the level information wise of swf you can then more easily buff killers to that bare minimum level and close the gap more.

As a Spirit main I've never been grabbed by one running Prayer Beads off a gen unless I was trying to get that last few % of completion. It's all about paying attention to the details when facing her since she has to use that a long way away usually.
You can watch for grass, birds getting disturbed, listen for her terror radius if she phases too close, move around on the gen a bit. If you think she's coming you move and wait a few seconds to see if she's coming for you.

Let’s not pretend getting to mori level DH is at all more similar to DH getting destroyed before hook number 3, because it’s actually quite rare, so yeah...no killer would complain when they do get full stacks.
And the risk far outweighs the reward for DH (because you need 5 hooks, 2 of which puts survivors on notice before getting to the mori) as opposed to another hex like Ruin, which has an immediate effect every killer that uses it can get something out of (even if it gets destroyed in under 30 seconds.)
Actually that's incorrect because the survivors don't know it's at exposed status unless you down someone with a melee hit. If you locker grab or grab someone trying to do a vault they never get the exposed effect.
the other difference is the DH is an extremely game altering perk more so than Ruin is which is why it's how it is. If it's get changed to this it becomes brokenly op more so than DS is.

Haaaaa, I knew it. I fcking knew that you CAN'T bring any match to discuss cuz I'm right and you realised it.
And know the backtracking comes into the place, trying to shift the it with a strawman this post has nothing to do with. Good job, thanks for outplaying yourself. So much about "logic" right bud? Disgusting.Typical troll response, posted several and you just want to troll so here i'll even timestamp it for you and I like to have actual facts and use logic. So since I'm also usually very thorough when I do this I take my time to do it right and not cherry pick.
1st video action starts at 6:40 and at 7 mins in she downs the obsession who knew he was screwed so he basically let her get the down.
8:01 she tags the Nea in shack for 1st hit on her and at 8:09 downs her, at 8:15 she downs the obsession with a throw instead of going for the bill who was trying to skulk off.
At 8:46 she hooks the Nea, still no gens done even though Ruin got taken down earlier and at 9 mins she see's the Claudette near shack. At 9:08 she gets her 1st hit on her, and at 9:31 she downs her at pallet which was a bad play on the Claudette's part.
At 10:04 she hooks the Claudette on a different hook after the Jake sabo'd right in front of her which was a good play on his part.
At 10:39 the 1st gen finally pops 10:46 she tags the Nea and at 11:18 she tosses a nice shot over the wall and gen and hits the Claudette.
At 11:39 she downs the Claudette who was in a bad spot and might've gotten the pallet slam and might not've.
At 11:46 she hooks the Claudette for the 2nd time and at 11:52 she throws a long range sniper shot and tags the Jake.
At 12:43 she downs the Claudette again and at 12:53 the 2nd gen pops while she hooks and sacs the Claudette at 13:03.
At 13:13 the 3rd gen finally pops and at 14:13 she finds and hits the Nea and downs her at 14:22 when the Nea basically gives up since she knows she's screwed.
At 14:32 she drops the Nea and tags teh Jake who sabo'd her hook again, and at 14:52 downs him again and leaves him slugged.
At 15:14 she hooks him and at 15:27 she tags the obsession jake who went for the Nea and also a TB which wasn't that smart, getting the slug up yes but staying for the TB pickup no.
At 15:44 she downs the Obsession in the shack and she plays the DS really well and at 16:07 downs him in the shack again.
At 16:05 she hooks him finally and then goes for the slugged Nea and redowns her at 17:07 and sacs her at 17:21
2nd game as Nurse gets 1st hit at 23:35 and downs the obsession at 23:47 and at 23:59 she gets 1st hit on the Claudette and downs her at 24:11.
She hooks the Claudette at 24:25 and the obsession gets picked up and hooked at 24:41 and hits the David at 24:47.
At 24:53 she downs the David and at 25:06 hooks him and the other 2 suicide on hook with no gens done shortly after the David suicides and the other person quits (?)
3rd match She chases someone then turns and nails someone working on a gen in distance at 30:50 who instead of hiding behind the gen they were on its long end and got nailed.
At 30:49 she turns and sees someone else and tags them and then goes back for the obsession and downs them at 30:55.
At 31:15 she hooks the obsession and at 31:50 she melees the Jeff who had a good 360 attempt and downs him at 32:00 even.
At 32:20 she re downs the obsession who was getting healed right under the hook which was a big mistake versus a Huntress.
At 32:34 she rehooks him and then chases his rescuer who was trying to sabo the same hook which wasn't a genius idea.
At 32:46 she checks her Hex totem and that's where the Claudette was at major mistake and she gets hit and at 32:52 she gets downed.
At 33:02 she hits the Meg and at 33:12 downs her and hooks her shortly after that still no gens done and at 33:54 hooks the Jeff so 3 are on hook.
At 34:21 she hooks the claudette and that's gg all she wrote folks.
I could keep going but there that's 2 matches broken down into timestamps for you.

@Tsulan and i trash talk each other off and on but neither one of us takes it seriously nor do we ever make it personal or cross the line. I do the same with others on here and they do with others as well since it keeps things lively but we never get personal.

That reminds me of the one on Badham Preschool on the corner of the building near the parked car, they got hit by the Trapper and got the speed boost. But they ended up speed boosting into the wall and going into the dying state.

@powerbats we are still waiting for you to give us ONE match we can discuss. Why is it so hard to for you do that? Maybe there is none? You're not worth the time given as you're obviously a troll based upon your prior post my only list a few things from 10 months ago when the changes have been quite extensive. I posted several examples so I couldn't be accused of cherry picking and you still went the troll route.
@Nickenzie it doesn't matter if you're going to use Tru as an example you've already lost as @ScottJund pointed out he's not that good. @ZubatLEL and @Monto are good examples of good killers.
Also those examples are how big of a sample size and if it's kyf or the killers working with them to prove it it's not valid. Does gen rush under 4 minute exist yes but if it happens so often that means the killer is just plain bad.
But if we want to use that how often does under 4 min killer games exist and if they do as much as gen rush then the killers need to be nerfed because that's the end result using your logic.

I think for Yamaoka you could do like they did with Shrimp boat and move one of the Pagodas towards the middle and keep the other one where it is or move it slightly more towards the center.
EDIT:
To add to this there's currently 2 Pagodas with one just below and left of the main house while the other is SE of it but is above shack by about 16 meters?
Why not take out one Pagoda and then take the other one and put it in the center of the map and move some bushes/rocks etc in their place.
That way there's lockers centrally placed for the Huntress and perhaps put a hill in place of the other Pagoda and move another hill someplace else. Perhaps the hill could take the place of one of the Pagodas or if that's too much hassle put lockers on the hills.

Seeing as how it's pretty damn rare they actually go off?Yeah.
It wouldn't make much of a difference gameplay wise for either survivor or killer.
You've never seen me get stuck with them, It's usually 4th or 5th box to get them off if it doesn't blow up 1st and in red ranks I see people die from them all the time. Well they die all the time oftentimes or the killer just follows them and downs them or chases them away from a box.
For me it usually takes 3 or more boxes usually to get it off if i'm allowed to try that is and I've had times where all 5 boxes give me the middle finger.
If it could change to be more balanced rng wise like minimum and maximum variables it'd be much more fair to both sides. You could even perhaps allow purple keys and above to be used on the RBT which would then remove both items from the game.

It seems there's a cycle that goes through depending on killer dailies and if you keep them or drop them since i've had a bunch of killer dailies non stop. I drop the ones I don't like but get a lot of ones I'm ok with and the same is true for others as well it seems.

The real problem is that survivors need to escape with a vessel, thing to get the most points. So if the killer dcs, then you get no coins for the vessels. We might see a sharp rise in killer dcs soon.Uhm generally 'killer mains' come up with these kind of conspiracy theories where one side becomes evil and tries to prevent the other side at whatever cost.
Maybe 1 in 10 games survivors saboed my hooks in other events. I don't think that killers will DC just to not give survivors their coins.
That is just my personal experience and opinion though.
Well there's a few toxic killers out there that if they're losing will do it just like with the last 2 events, don't like the map or offerings, someone's about to escape etc.
I never sabo'd event hooks unless the killer was a camper or they'd only guard event gens then I'd 99 them same as others because that's just being a jerk.
If I saw a survivor saboing event hooks I'd not save them and most others if they saw it the same and as a killer i never camped until bbq event. There was a Jake that decided to try and sabo only my events hooks on the other side of the wall from me repeatedly.
He'd also try and do it within a few meters of me then loop me on Macmillan so I camped him, re hooked him on the same hook and tunneled him and he dc'd. I let everyone else do all the gens etc since they weren't being jerks about it.
I'm glad they made them non saboable finally since that was long overdue and I think for the vessels it should change how it works.

This is generally about them already being in the gate room, or really close to it. Hence my emphasis on how safe they are at that point.
Ok that's more understandable and I just responded about that in the console bans question to Peanits.
Or them hiding in some locker, and moving around just enough to get distance to be harder to find if you're not lucky enough to have a search perk, or detect them with it.
Yeah if they can make it to the gate that's one thing but I've had instances where the killer can down me before I even get near either gate. I can understand if people are trying to make sure everyone gets out and realistically unless you know it's frustrating for both sides.
This isn't about the match actually being active where the killer is a realistic threat or else the survivors wouldn't hang around after the match more than a few minutes at most.
This isn't about "a buddy is on the hook" altruism. If it's 4 people screwing around then yes they need to start getting a timer countdown warning them they've got x time to leave or they get auto sacrificed.
It would take some brazen idiocy to let yourself get hit by a chainsaw from one end of the room to the other. Especially since the ability to one hit down is likely to be well known by then.
Insidious/Lag Switchers/M&A/Rancor/NOED (which seems to like activating on totems by gates) etc.
One hit down killers are those few specific builds I mentioned.
You know damn well Rancor doesn't work on every survivor to one hit down, and unless you're some veteran with a stockpile, I don't see any killer constantly using addons like iridescent heads for every match.
Like I said before there's some killers who have a stockpile of isnta downs addons and because they do so well they never run out. The same is true for those maxed out on everything or those that don't want to prestige.
Most people dont want to in the first place. Hence we have people with stockpiles of mori, and one hit down addons.
I forget I've got them usually or forget to bring them so I've got a tremendous stockpile and when I do remember to bring them I don't always use it.
Consoles. Didn't really have that option before.
Well now with bans it'll improve a lot since it's not such a big issue on pc since the bans have always been active.
Kiddies better run for their lives or this killer is going to have something to make their teabag party in the gate room a threat now that console bans are up.
Yes and that's going to be a huge improvement and some console users are already reporting that the dc rate has dropped. Once dedicated servers come up they'll probably be able to track actual dc's much better and tighten the % rate ona scaling tracker.

I think an icon being behind bars is just a temporary ban. Permanent bans have a red icon with text saying they’re banned.
It's a temp ban restricting posting for x time within x time frame based upon prior ones where people have commented on their punishments.
The perma's are the ones with the red icon saying banned are the more permanent ones.
As far as the ops post goes it's a cost versus rewards really since music of any kind is usually a lot more expensive as far as licensing goes.

He said everyone was alive and there is no icon that says a person has escaped.
There's an issue with that right now since people have been crashed out either by game crashes or killer lag switching but they show in the match till the very end.
The key used but not escaping could be a crash or a sync issue ie packet loss, was everyone else still there though I mean did you account for everyone at end of game.

Referring back to Tru3ta1ent's video, he was playing Nurse to his best ability and the survivors was also playing to their best ability. Usually in most scenarios, these types of games should be a close call since it's an even match up. However, Tru3ta1ent's video was the complete opposite, he was helpless as he couldn't prevent generators from going off despite being as skilled as the survivors. When this happens, something is definitely wrong and a change is necessary due to the fact it wasn't a close call, it was complete domination.
He was playing perkless and addonless Nurseso that negates your argument right there, if he was running a normal 2 blink build and normal addons he wouldn't have struggled versus good players.
All you people using his perkless/addonless challenge videos need to just stop because it's making you look foolish since he's not a good example to use.
I mean look at @Maximus7 who used addons and played to their utmost and granted the survivors made plenty of mistakes but even so he wouldn't have gotten smashed the way Tru did.

If it takes a killer of that caliber to pip against a good perkless survivor squad, there is a goddamn problem.
Ok but that's well over a year old and the games changed massively since then so people need to stop using that as an example. Also @ScottJund has already commented on that video.

One of our resident killers on here after getting outplayed all game and never finding me/catching until I got sloppy at end of game working on last gen. They slugged me and went for for last person then acted all smart ass and smacked me on the hook.
I knew who it was but they didn't know i was using a funny name for a bit so they said that to me when there was no crying involved. I had to laugh given the amount of complaining on the forums they've done.

No, your job is to escape, so do it.
You're beyond the point where we can do our jobs as killer. We both know it.
It seems like more and more killers are tired of this brand of survivor entitlement. And if they're just hiding to hide? Because of course they are.
Yes because it's never an instant down killer and gates super close together or that the person is injured and doesn't have a heal. Insta down Billy, Bubba, Huntress, Rancor, NOED, Blood Warden is active etc.
If the gates are both open and on opposite sides of the map and they don't leave after 10 minutes then the solution is to report them and get them punished.

No because of multiple obvious reasons.
One survivor sandbags another by themself or with someone thus causing person to quit.
The killers works with a survivor to sandbag/farm someone causing a dc.
Streamers since this is obvious how this would go.
One person agrees to dc after say looping the killer for several gens/unhooks etc thus giving tons fo free points.

What about the others, especially new players?

Ah yes the typical troll argument, because it's possible means it happens and not everyone brings an item nor is it always a tb. But like all your logical fallacies it falls flat on it's face.
Nobody claimed that survivors can bring BNP or insta heals every game becuse thats impossible too. Its only the fact that they can keep their green stuff upon escaping that makes it a strategy they can use in every game
So because they can keep their green stuff on escaping it's an issue, what about their brown stuff and what about oh wait they have to actually survive and get out with the item.
You know not have someone else take it if they get Franklin'd, not lose it because they got camped and or tunnelled the entire game. Since if any of that happens it means they don't get to keep that item, oh and lets not forget all you whiny killers rage quitting too.

Then they all moved to Laurie, then Feng, then Kate and they're kinda spread out now with Feng's and Nea's seeming to be the worst with Kate and Laurie following behind.
I would say that's more indicative to who's the current favorites and the community, unfortunately. I find that quite a few Claudettes and Davids do the same. I've actually been farmed by Claudettes more than anything else. I don't believe I've been purposefully sandbagged, though people sometimes throws things down while panicked.
Oh I've farmed by Claudette's too and Bills seem to think BT is great against a Bubba and either get you both killed or take someone with them. I've seen so many Bills go into the basement and unhook 2 ppl only to have a bubba take all 3 right back down instantly.
Meanwhile i'm doing gens far far away lol and not going near the basement and hope they don't suicide so that i can get gens done and perhaps force him out of basement.

But unlike survivors ultra rares the killer gets multiple uses out of them during a trial and is guaranteed to be able to do so. The survivor has to actually escape and escape with their item and it only takes one camper or tunneler or mori and it's goodbye items and addons. That won't stop other survivors from taking and using said item though. The item still exists, it's just not in the hands of the same survivor but from a Killers perspective that doesn't matter, in fact it makes it even worse because even if you finally kill that key-user or flashlight, someone can just run by and pick it up again.
Not really complaining about it, I just want to point out that Survivors items and add-ons are a lot easier to get and to keep compared to Killers

Well that's assuming someone knows where you dropped it and picks it up and also makes it out of the trial with said item though. As far as survivors items easier to get well yeah that's pretty obvious why since it's harder for them t get bp compared to a killer.
For keeping yes it can be easier but doesn't mean it always is though and again teh killer can and usually does make more bp per run then that individual survivor did. On average the killer will make out better on both bp and on items comparatively.
Also the really good players aren't that common compared to the potatoes that make up the majority of the playerbase. Throw in killers that have everything P3'd and are always complaining about having excess bp to spend.
Most of the red rank survivors i solo up with play 4-6 different characters with each having a specific loadout they run depending on who's in the lobby and dailies. For those most also rarely bring items and if they do it's not higher than a green usually.

nurse doesn't need ruin to kill good survivors in the first place so your point is irrelevant
totems shouldn't be spawning in view of survivors as soon as they load in periodNice deflection, you said and I quote
@yeet said:
ruin will only seriously affect bad survivors
if someone is repeatedly dying because of ruin then they need to learn to hit skillchecksSo yes my point is relevant and you once again just can't admit it oh and Umbra_Bug again says hi and she's a Huntress 2-5 min games on average with Ruin usually 4k's.
But hey if a good killer doesn't need Ruin why are good killers using Ruin if they don't need it? I mean you just said a good nurse doesn't need Ruin to kill good survivors yet they run it.
because they can run whatever perks they wanna run?
also bringing up some random player who's apparently good is pretty meaningless when the caliber of rank one survivors today is pathetic and i can't even remember the last game i haven't 4KedAgain with the deflections, it doesn't matter who I post you'll just dodge as always it's your usual move when you can't refute just deflect.

I can only speak for myself, I'm a Meg main, 90% of the matches are played as Meg, therefore most of the BPs go into her since I P3 the others already. I have hundreds of items and add-ons, I'm 100% certain that I will NEVER run out of them EVER. It's impossible. As Survivor, you can also find good items and add-ons in chests to increase your stock for free.
On top of that I play solo and have an escape rate of at least 70%, which means I'd only rarely actually lose my items.
As Killer, I obviously also have tons of add-ons but the difference is that I know for sure that I WILL lose them when I use them, which is why I am a lot more careful with them. An ultra rare add-on such as Iridescent head means that I spend 8'000 bloodpoints to get an advantage for that specific match and then it's gone. There is no way to get add-ons other than buying them from the bloodweb, I can't farm or steal them during regular gameplay.
Yes, 4x toolbox gen rush squads or cancerlight squads are rare because Survivors are somewhat empathic and realize how broken it is, but not because it's hard to get the items or add-ons to do so. For Killers, it's pretty expensive to constantly use good stuff.
I can agree with a lot of this but like I said before I've run into other killers that are so well stockpiled it's not even funny and like Umbra_Bug who only plays huntress she's never running out.
During one event just farming with Spirit i got over 3 million bp or so and could've had more if I'd been playing more and hadn't given up some trying to farm with ppl that took advantage.
I used to play Meg pretty consistently but like I said i've had to have a stable of 4 toons to pick so killers won't dodge. Which is funny because you could play like bill for instance and still have the exact same meta perks they hate.
But unlike survivors ultra rares the killer gets multiple uses out of them during a trial and is guaranteed to be able to do so. The survivor has to actually escape and escape with their item and it only takes one camper or tunneler or mori and it's goodbye items and addons.

brokedownpalace said:If it always gets cleansed so quickly then why would people continue to use it so often, even at rank 1? The logic makes no sense.
"Ruin gets destroyed within the first two minutes ... but also it's a mandatory perk! I love running 3 perks instead of 4 for 90% of the match."
You gotta love that irony. I need Ruin but it doesn't do #########.
I've started to replace Ruin with either Sloppy or PGTW and found little difficulty honestly.
Yeah I always love the irony as well, they complain when it gets cleansed and thus play with 3 perks and don't complain when it doesn't get cleansed.
On my Spirit when I'm in red ranks I run Rancor, BBQ if farming for points and if not run Bitter since it's great especially at the end. The other combos are M&A if i'm going jumpscare and if I really want a jumpscare I'll add in Tinkerer.
If not Tinkerer I'll use Franklin's if it's 4 of anything and then go from there for the 4th perk.

But the hatch spawned with 2 gems done and all 4 still alive based on the image. For the hatch to even spawn with all 4 survivors still alive, the exit gates need to be powered.
If someone has the map that either tracks black locks or the addon for it they can find it and if they have a key can open it. If you ever run a Rainbow map with increased tracking range and slower burning it'll show 3 possible spawn locations usually close together.
If you've got a key and you hover over that spot it should give you the prompt.
Why would they map it, open it with a key but not take it?
The key is consumed upon usage though and someone else could've had a map or just went around looking for known locations till they got the prompt. The latter would be exceedingly tedious unless you had a few spots memorized and checked different areas.
