A player that d/C's should have all there points split among remaining players
That way if a survivor or killer d/C's everyone gets compensated somewhat

No because of multiple obvious reasons.
One survivor sandbags another by themself or with someone thus causing person to quit.
The killers works with a survivor to sandbag/farm someone causing a dc.
Streamers since this is obvious how this would go.
One person agrees to dc after say looping the killer for several gens/unhooks etc thus giving tons fo free points.
Still no because it would make people want to troll and sandbag to make people DC and steal their points.
Now where's @Orion with da maths or whoever else can explain it better?
If your points are being split between players in a trial you likely won't get all that much ie someone gets 1000 something points at the start of their game and decides to d/c? you'd only get 250.
Plus it plays on the psychology of - i don't want to give my hard earned points to other people, who are tryna make me d/c, thusly making people want to stay in the game more out of spite
though i think that people intentionally sandbagging others would be banned quite quickly for working with the killer.
No, can be exploited

And? Hostage games would be so common, it would be ridiculous.
