Killer I hover around 12. Survivor around 14 during the event.

Is this one of those feminazi attack posts???Well yeah, couldn't you tell?
It was a big wall of text filled with nothing but nonsense. Honestly it almost sounded like a really bad and cringy poem.

I knew it reminded me of something. They are not Korean feminists, they are Vogons reciting their poetry. That makes more sense now.
-
I play on PS4 and saw none of what you are describing. If anything I saw the reverse. I saw killers give survivors almost free reign on the event gens. Hell I had killers let me pop event gens as last survivor and I let them hook me on the event hook. Oh yeah, I got both event goals with ease.
-
I do not want to see real life killers implemented in this game period. This has been suggested a few times and I hope it never is taken seriously. Inspired by and the real thing are not the same.
-
Not sure why you would want a single player version of this game. It really makes no sense to me. It is designed as a 4 v 1 PVP game. The only aspect i could see being done as single player would be killer, but slaughtering AI would become boring as it typically ends up being predictable.

Actually, the first person to mention the words ######### or ######### in this thread was you. No one used either word until your post on page 1. I will quote it for you.

At least some of the other protesters actually hung around and argued for a bit. This one just made a troll post and ran. No respect for you. Bad troll, bad bad.

Just because they are part of competing games does not mean they cannot vacation together.

I would say most I see with Leatherface has been camping or Insidious camping with a nice mix of basement camping tossed in.

Why does this thread exist?You missed all the protest threads of how "sexual" the Spirit is. This was a response to all those threads.
-
@Luven Just curious, if this was an overweight female, would that be ok? Because it is a skinny female, that makes it sexual objectification? Also, its ok to sexually objectify a male character like they did with Ace and his porn mustache and his oh so sexy tight shorts and leopard print shirt that is button down so we can see his delicious chest.........ok, sorry, my mind wandered for a second. Basically what you are informing us is you are a hypocrite, a sexist towards men and a body shamer. Ok, gotcha. Thanks for playing.

Call me strange but usually I am not paying much attention to boob jiggle when someone is trying to slash with me with a big ass katana.
-
I will correct myself, you made one other about post game comments. I was thinking about your apologize to the devs for something you asked during the dev stream. My bad for mixing those up.
I was not being aggressive in tone. I was stating my view on what you did. You are right, players are often treated unfairly for not playing a certain way, but usually its by the opposing force, not fellow survivors. I stand by my statement that I would drop a lobby if you had done that to me and I saw you in the lobby. I also stand by my statement you seem to be taking comments made to you too personal.

She seems cool and her perks are interesting the crying and overreacting is crazy. Every new killer they want as powerful as the nurse. That isn't going to happen. The perks together will be fun. I like the hex build. I also like enduring, spirit fury, ruin, and hex haunted. Seems you can really do some early damage.Watching game play of her, I find her interesting and want to give it a try. I do agree the overreacting is crazy, but the dev hand waving and snide responses to the complaints were very off putting. I think that is what got a lot of people more up in arms in here at least. I do not want to say one way or another about her until she is released on PS4.
-
You are on PS4, they can report you all day long, does not mean jack unless you break one of their rules. That said, why would you do that? There is no rule saying he could not search the chest. He was taking the risk, you could easily left the basement no harm no foul. Yet you felt the need to punish this player for not playing the way you wanted.
For your silly question, how would this random player know if you are a rare troll or a regular troll? To them, you were a prick who screwed him/her out of more BP. While I know reporting does nothing, I would try to remember you PSN name and if I see you in a lobby, I would drop out.
Lastly, this is like the 3rd or 4th post you have made in the last day or so about being upset about post game messages. I would advise you turn off your messaging at least while you are in DBD. You are taking comments far too serious for your own good.

Its just funny that the SJW topics only pop out when its about females.
Not a single topic when shirtless david was released.Sexism at its best

I think there was one thread about it, but all who posted against shirtless David were thus sacrificed to the Entity for their transgressions.
I am more appalled no one has protested the sexualized Acestache, leopard print shirt and daisy dukes.

Well you can always leave the game after the game is over and not read post match. Players will talk ######### whenever they can about how you play, so the best thing is just to move on and if you do think you made bad plays during that game just learn from them and don't let people get under your skin.Well, if there was a post match chat to avoid, I am sure the OP would. Jammy is a console gamer. There is no post match. They are sending DMs to Jammy. The only way to avoid it would be turning off messaging from anyone not in your friends list.
My bad, it was a tip for PC players reading it too, but yeah I understand it more and should have read it clearer
In theory, I do agree with you. Ignore the comments, let people talk ######### and move on. Sadly, not every person has that layer of thick skin and they do take the words of others to heart, even if it is via a game.
Yeah true, not everyone is the same and we are all different people who come from different backgrounds so words can hurt. The only thing we can give others is our advice and another piece of advice from me is at least they aren't physically there
I think honestly the fact that nearly all have said, do not let their ######### bother you, move on and play your way is probably the best advice that can be given in this situation.
I do apologize if I came off as rude with my initial response to you.

I get it once in a while as a killer. Usually get the comments when I actually don't camp which I find funny. Best advice, just ignore and go to the next match.

To be fair, the devs finally admitted that nerfing Freddy 2 days into the patch was a stupid choice, and they handled the Clown pretty well.But it's only been a few hours. Most people are still at work. (
) If she is as weak as people claim, she will probably get the same Clown treatment and be buffed a bit.While it is far too early to say she is over or under powered, I think most of the comments given have not been over the top or knee jerk, like we usually get. While there have been a few "the world is ending" posts, most have been intelligent and insightful. I do agree though, we need more time to truly assess the Spirit's abilities. I just do not care for how people just write off the early commentary, esp by several experienced players (this goes for both sides).
-
If ruin is running, look for the hex while the killer camps. After that gen rush. As a solo, you have to play more situational. The stupidity of your teammates at times is a benefit to you
-
Congrats.
-
I am still convinced this will be a licensed killer, the might villian from the Last Dragon............Sho'nuff
-
While I think his terror radius at T2 and T3 should be smaller, I do not think it should be zero. I disagree about him only being scary at T1, if properly handled, Myers is terrorifying the entire match.
-
PTB? Hell, console gamers are just hoping the next chapter will be released within a month of the PC release.

@Visionmaker said:
The game is fun with friends.The game is not as fun without friends.
I respectfully disagree with that statement. When I play survivor, I have just as much fun running solo as I do with SWF. Honestly, I probably have a bit more fun because of the element of surprise is there more than it is with comms.
@Visionmaker said:
They should introduce an AI mode for killers who cannot stand the challenge.You mean like survivors standing the challenge of playing this game how it was intended to be played, no friends, no comms, 4 strangers against a killer. Maybe survivors could also use an AI mode as well.
-
No to both. Camping is an intended part of the game. SWF, while added after initial launch, is a part of the game not going away.
Also, what if the killer is in chase and not actually camping? Should you safety pip for that as well? Or if your teammates decided to hook rush right after the killer hooks? The killer could not leave the away due to the swarm of survivors.
Also, for SWF, do you safety pip for a 4 man attack squad, or do killers safety pip for the 2 man SWF of friends who want to enjoy the game together?
What lines are there for your safety pip?
-
I am not a big fan of survivor offerings that would penalize the entire team. Also, entire map aura reading at the beginning of the trial is a huge buff to the killer while that massive of an aura reading for all 4 surivors is honestly too extreme.

Hello
I think Dwight should be banned in this game because Dwight
destroy lockers in this game -
Hello
I think vanillia ice cream must be banned because vanilla ice cream
destroy this game......You guys already stole all the good in game jokes.
-
Wall of text. It is so long, so very long. Must look away.
Joking aside, majority of what you said is ridiculous. This is a pvp game. I am not responsible for your fun. I am playing to win, and will use any legit tactic to do so. That is not being toxic. -
I never understood the concept of hitting a hooked survivor like I do not understand tbagging. Now I have accidently hit a hooked survivor when I have missed another survivor, and if that was you, I do apologize.
-
@robynedwards said:
It's never any fun when a killer gets lucky and puts you on a hook then face camps you, not moving .. just staring. Even when other survivors are baiting, taunting or trying to get the person off the hook. It's not skill, it's just annoying.I suggest adding in a no camp rule, which will stop the hook entity/ timer from proceeding if the killer is within a certain radius? Or if not making it a rule making it a perk ?
Whats all your opinions on this ?
It has been tried, abused and dropped.
-
@Orion said:
Indeed. This is a PvP game, after all.That sadly seems to be a concept forgotten. I never understood comments of "I wont play this way because it is not fun for "insert opposing side" " when playing a PVP game. Sorry, as a killer, my objective is to hook and sacrifice people. As long as the means are allowed and legal by the game mechanics, you damn sure I will camp, tunnel and everything else to kill you. That is the point.
-
Not sure how well such a concept could be implementated, but the base concept sounds interesting and makes sense.
-
@Orion said:
Play however you want as long as you're not exploiting or hacking, and don't let anyone try to shame or manipulate you into playing how they want. Survivors will always complain unless you purposefully play in the most inefficient way possible.This right here. You play how you want, enjoy the game, as long as you do not break the rules of the company who makes the game.
I play with the following logic: I, as a killer, am not responsible for your fun as a survivor. I, as a survivor, am not responsible for your fun as a killer.
-
@feffrey said:
chemical_reject said:For someone always talking about how killers are OP and playing survivor is soooooooooo hard this idea is ridiculous. That completly takes away from the solo survivor.
Then don't play a team based game?
If you're solo and get hooked you would expect your "team" to unhook you.You do your part and they'll do theirs hopefully you all can escape
This is not a team based game though. It can be played with teamwork yes, but it is not actually required. Your suggestions are punishing someone who plays a different though still acceptable style.
-
When you prestige, all your add-ons, items and offerings are wiped, along with all your perks. But you get a bloody cosmetic to start over from lvl 1 on the character.

The lack of licensed killer skins don't really bother me. Would they be a nice addition? Absolutely! However I don't wanna see them stop adding licensed killers just because they can't make other costumes for them, at least until they add Pinhead.My thoughts as well. That's not to say that I don't want original killers (I'm happy with either), but if there's an awesome licensed one up for grabs, I wouldn't want to miss out over a couple extra skins.
In any case, additional cosmetics for licensed killers/survivors are not off the table, they just need to be approved by their owners first. You can't just play dress up with someone else's Barbie without asking first, basically, they'd get mad at you. At least that's the really simple way to put it.
Makes sense, I hate when other people play dress up with my Barbies as well.

But are people actually upset about him or are they upset about his fans?
He himself is just one person, what are the odds that you're going to play against him? It's just one toxic player.I generally do not like cherry picking comments but I kinda feel in this case it is warranted.
If it was the case of it being just one toxic player, I agree with you. But this is not just one toxic player. He and his fanbase go beyond a toxic gameplay style to creating a toxic environment in and out of game. Also, he is not just a toxic player, he is a toxic content creator who publishes his behaviour and actively encourages others to behave as he does. His actions and the actions he has his following do has driven away a lot of new players because of his baby killer bullying. Right now, his presence on PS4 is even worse because of the game being made available to all Plus members. This month will have so many new players for him to abuse and drive away from this game. So no, he is not just one toxic player. He is the tip of the spear of a wave of toxicity that honestly could cripple the DBD population on the PS4. I know people may say I am being over dramatic, and I possible might be. Given how I have had 5 friends who were new to DBD quit in the last week due to Ochido encouraged antics, I would say I am not.
-
Watching the video, I have determined that this will indeed be a licensed killer. There is only one person it could be..............Sho'Nuff from The Last Dragon
-
Would it not have been smarter to ask if doing such would be a bannable offense before doing said offense? This is one of those times it is better to ask for permission than forgiveness as there will be no forgiveness given.
-
I will be honest, I was surprised how well this even went over. As a killer, only had one game where I was getting body blocked at hooks or hook saboed. As a survivor, never really dealt with cocktail gen camping. Both sides seemed willing to help the other out to get the rewards.
-
Play your way and ignore the negativity. All you truly can do.
-
Play the way you feel best fits you, if its camping, go for it. Have fun. Do not worry if you do not get a kill every match, that comes with experience. Try other killers, they may offer a play style you enjoy. Try survivor, it will help to become a better killer.
