“Guess you have to adapt.”
New good Survivor perk comes out..
Oh my god this is broken devs please fix 😥 😥.
🤨🤨
Almost 48 hours and still not a single Survivor with an idea as to how an M1 killer can adapt. @altruistic

Well put, fellow Survivor main.

I agree with all but Hag- just a little bit oveboard. Hag is just such easy to play killer with such strong tools. It is my favourite killer to farm points with. She is just so easy to use and 4k with I very often find myself leaving surivvors to run infront of me for points cause the matches dont last very long often unless you get a very big open map like the swamps
I don't think Hag is bad. You'll notice I included Spirit too. It's that they are M1 Killers who have no answer to MoM.
-
Tldr: Before we address a perk that neuters the already ######### killers, let's make the viable things suck.

People complain without taking into account possible tools in the future. This was a planned perk, and we don't know the killer buffs coming in the future and perks. The meta is give on one side, then give on the other to spice things up if people haven't noticed. The plague can down survivors stupidly fast and make mettle of man barely notable in that case, same for some other killers. Meta shifts with perks as metas shift in every other game. The perk isn't as bad as dstrike and it's pretty fair. The only thing I'd say is make the obsession 3 hits to charge and non obsessions 4 hits to charge.
So you think they plan to rework half the Killer roster so they will have secondary attacks?

He has voicelines in the lobby.

@Joe_Mantide said:
but that's not an issue, the perk description is "hit by a power", not "hit right after using a power". the point is this perk shouldnt work with instadowns, not to work only against m1 killer. it would be ######### useless.

A perk that allows uncounterable free hits against over half the killer roster is "'not an issue."

It'll most likely be nerfed. No way it stays like this, If you're buying Ash just for MoM I'd think twice about it.
Could you imagine the killer equivalent? After hitting a Survivor 3 times the next Healthy hit is an Insta-down? and for each survivor too? That'd be Broken as hell.
I'd play that perk on Wraith in a heartbeat.

@Tru3Lemon said:
now brothers its time to say to the killers its time to adapt like they said to us XD
Sure, just give killers the same treatment they gave you provide examples on how to adapt. I have yet to see a single Survivor explain how any of the killers I listed can adapt to MoM. @Tru3Lemon

Well if you're back on a survivor before 60 seconds passes and you don't slug expect to be hit by it a ######### ton
I'm sorry unhooked Survivors run right at me? Gotta make sure Survivor mistakes are rewarded amiright?
-
Does it count as adapting if they still just do the same tactic, but it just isn't as OP as it used to be?
-
Just don't M1 4head! EZ counter!
-
@Aven_Fallen Hag Phantasm attacks do count. I made sure to stand on traps a couple times last night.
-
@ClogWench can now confirm. Phantasm hits do count toward MoM.

You obviously don't realize that Enduring made DS absolutely f*cking useless before this patch. The killer simply had to turn and smack after DS was triggered.
So it countered DS. Isn't that what Survivors have been preaching for ages?

That was after I unhooked myself, dropped a pallet, and made it out the hatch which popped open in front of me while I was wearing a face trap.
Wasn't any great game, no mind tricks. But the killer is salty AF, and bitter I made it out on sheer luck. This is the norm. Hatch blocking then whinging in the lobby, camping and telling survivors to watch youtube and get good.
Killers are every bit as obnoxious.
I wouldn't be to happy about playing derankers if I was new too.

I wasn't sure if clown counted if they were intoxicated when hit. As for hag, i get most of my hits from traps. Still, that's a few generally weak killers who are fully boned and some who are only slightly affected by it. I wouldn't say that's enough to warrant the panic it's getting.
Already weak killer getting worse isn't a problem? Really?
Also, I meant that Hag might be boned regardless because I don't know if Phantasm hits work or not because of the Spirit.

There's what, 2 M1 killers? Maybe 3? And once survivors realize it doesn't work against 75% of killers they're not gonna run it nearly as much
The only non M1 Killers are Huntress, Billy, Pig, Legion and LF. Apparently it's not working against Nurse, but it is against Spirit. So Freddy, Clown, and Doctor are just #########. Wraith either requires a surprise attack or is just boned. Trapper and Hag need you to step in traps or they are boned. Myers and Plague are kinda boned in that they sometimes needs less hits, but the hits still count.

Yes I do, you've always complained you didn't have a hard counter yet had no issues when you had a hard counter.
[TRANSITIVE] to take action in order to oppose or stop something or reduce its negative effects
Yet that's not what you've all wanted you wanted something like where it completely negated it before the change today.
So then why does DS get to use the "stop something" definition when Enduring can only use the "reduce" definition?
-
@ClogWench said:

We have killer powers being negated by a simple flashlight even.
Wraith isn't a great example of this anymore for the most part. Hag though...

Countering is fine, completely negating a perk is another, it'd be like survivors taking SC and healing to full 2 seconds after being hit.
....Do you not know the definition of counter?
-
I'm just amazed at the amount of Survivors who were perfectly fine claiming Enduring countered DS until it ACTUALLY did. It's like the greatest surprised Pikachu meme ever.
Also kind of upset that we're back to needing Enduring to simply mitigate the free escape.
-
At least once in every second Killer game. Although sometimes the Survivor falls right under the hook and I get the hook through DS. It's hilarious. I know they tried to use DS because the Obsession changes.
-
@Delfador said:
@Bongbingbing You can't make a good save when a killer stands in front of you
@DelfadorSo the killer makes a decision to camp, which leaves the Survivors free to do gens, but then gets punished because the situation is a win-win anyway for Survivors because of DS?
-
Someone has their views locked into the stall meta and willfully ignoring the definition of a Survivor winning the chase.
-
BECAUSE HE IS LICENSED.

@[Deleted User] said:
The comments here are ridiculous. Has anyone played killer? People have broadened the definition of tunneling to mean "attempting to hook someone twice within a minute". Survivors shouldn't be entitled to stupid plays. If you unhook somebody before I've left the hook, that's a bad play and there should be consequences. If you don't block for an injured person off the hook, that's a bad play. If the injured person runs away from everyone to a dead zone, that's a bad play. Yes, it sucks for the unhooked person, but survivor is a co-op mode and sometimes you get bad teammates in co-op games.
Exactly! "Just don't tunnel!" though.
-
"Just run Enduring."
But we did and apparently that was an issue.

The survivor will be locked into an animation for the first second of that and be unable to move. This will leave you with four seconds to run away by default, unless the killer has enduring.
We are keeping an eye out for feedback. If you feel it's excessive once you've had a chance to play against it a bit, please let us know.
Isn't that still one second more powerful than it was before patch 2.6?
-
I just don't see how Bhvr can expect anyone to play M1 Killers when DS can be stacked with Mettle of Man. Two hits to down, third hit ignored by DS, fourth hit ignore by Mettle of Man. Add adrenaline and instaheals for even more "fun."
-
The brightness of auras in the distance in general have been dimmed pretty bad. It's really hard to see BBQ and Totem auras now.
-
- "Fixed an issue that could cause healthy Survivors to become infected when a fully sick/infected Survivor was saved by another fully sick Survivors. "
I'm really glad they fixed this too. It's gotten me killed several times where I'm stealthing the killer and sudden start coughing for no reason.

@[Deleted User] said:
It doesn’t need more time.
It’s fine as it is. If you can’t make those 20 seconds count then you’re simply not playing optimally.
Maybe some people like playing other Killers besides Billy and Nurse.

@Tzeentchling9 Ah see there is some more context I didn't fully know. He hasn't been able to avoid bans by making new accounts and hiding the name or something?
Yes, he made many accounts on steam and was hardware banned at least once on PC, then moved to PS4 and continued to play there until the devs were able to enforce bans a few months ago and banned him there too for ban evasion.
-
So NOW he's sorry since he can't evade the bans anymore?

I've had great success with brooch and StBFL. Scratch marks don't just vanish like Feral Frenzy, they stop being produced when phase walk is fully charged.
Hit the Survivor, phase right after and you can usually catch up and track them with injured grunting by the time you reach the place where the scratch marks stopped being produced.
-
Tldr: Killers OP, plz nerf
-
Steam recommended it for being similar to Evolve after it died.
RIP Evolve.
-
I haven't seen a whole of Survivors DC the instant they see a Deep Wounds bar. It usually happens when you've hit someone a few times or when multiple Survivors start getting downed.
-
I had two SWF with this bug against a Spirit earlier today. It was really frustrating during the match because of course all I can see is two Survivors getting bodied hard.
-
When using a flash light; put the battery before a low amp filament so it affects the battery more effectively. Addons on items read from right to left
How the hell does that work? If you put the amp first then the only the flashlight's charges will be more efficient and not the extra charges from the battery?
-
Just break the pallet.
-
You have to Double Pip, not just kill all four.

Adapt 😱 but if your actually colorblind that sucks but eh you found the first survivor so you can find the rest without wallhacks.
1/10 try harder
Nowhere was BBQ mentioned by the OP only fundamental aspects of the game.

Devs have already come out and said they don't equate DS to NoED.

I am sorry but your feedback is not very accurate. Mostly because the forums are dominated by forum killers. They're very loud and active, they spend more time on the forums than in-game because they're not very good and want the game changed in their favor. Every post that is even remotely survivor sided they bombard it with troll replies and all sort of crap. They have thousands of post, it's very easy to spot them.
That's why the game is so killer sided now and every game a survivor DCs or suicides on the hook, because you received the wrong feedback. Feedback from rank 15 killers that can't evolve and want to be rank 1 like their false prophet tru3talent.
I know it sounds harsh, but it's the truth and if you don't see it now, you will see it at some point, hopefully it won't be too late because you created a really beautiful game and I'd hate to see it go.

@Arachne So while YOU can't report the Pig for holding you hostage, your buddy might be able to assuming that the Pig never hit them and they have no RBT and she just forced them to DC at the stairs (or stay forever).
Except she didn't hold them hostage either. He already admitted that she hit them with NoED afterward.
