@powerbats Source?

The surprise will be double bloodpoints spring event.
Followed by complaints that no one is testing the PTB.
-
"But to ignore an outside advantage in the game just makes the devs look bad."
Tell me about it. Still no response about blatant abuse of voice coms.
-
Yeah, this is pretty bad on mobile.
-
Probably impossible unless they are all dumb enough to go into the basement after a gate opens.
-
"...Hail Hydra."
-
Fun to loop, for sure!
-
Sorry, I've been watching a lot people play the Phoenix Wright games recently.
-
We still wanted Legion though. Not "Trapper who occasionally hops pallets."
-
The Legion's core vision is spread damage and slow the game down(just a lil' bit). However, Killers adapted past that and found more lethal ways to apply Feral Frenzy and Deep Wounds since the core vision wasn't a viable high rank tactic.
Since all these changes do is remove all the tools Killers adapted past the core vision, why aren't we seeing some buffs to the core vision to make it viable? Why can't being afflicted by Deep Wounds mean something beyond needing to stop what you are doing for 10 seconds?

These changes do actually work with the original design of the killer. Compared to before, The Legion will be able to travel further while in Feral Frenzy, allowing them to apply Deep Wound to multiple survivors, while also discouraging using Feral Frenzy repeatedly against one survivor. At the same time, The Legion also gets increased movement speed to follow up and get a down.
@Peanits Even ignoring why increased duration at the cost of speed doesn't make a good buff, that still leaves the fact that spreading damage doesn't do anything.
Again, all these changes do is go out of their way to remove all the tactics that Killers adapted because the core vision was pointless. Why aren't we buffing the core vision?
-
@Peanits Why aren't we improving the Legion's core vision? Why are we only removing the tools Killers adapted to move past that limitation?

what people realised is that the original intended strategy sucked huge donkey balls, and killer players instead had to moonwalk to even make the killer serviceable
now he's just going to be complete #########
Exactly, hence why am asking why aren't we buffing an already proven to be ######### strategy instead of just taking away all the tools killers used to adapt past it.
-
Ok, spreading damage and slowing the game down is the Legion's core vision, why aren't we buffing that?
Why is it just a straight removal of everything that makes Deep Wounds more lethal directly? No, the increased duration doesn't count because they are "significantly" reducing the movement speed too(it's the same as the Wraith built in Windstorm "buff"). Killers and Survivors already showed it was pointless to spread damage, make that aspect better.
Why doesn't Deep Wounds do anything except make you stop for 10 seconds? Doesn't it take longer to mend? Require another Survivor? Affect you gen repair speed until you are fully healed? SOMETHING?

what else is there to say to you, I mean it seems as if you have your mind set that the survivor mains and devs are out to get you or something. Just adapt like the rest of us.
I see no reason to adapt anymore. History keeps repeating itself. Maybe Killers should start mass DCs as well.

@Speshul_Kitten said:
You were never supposed to use frenzy to down survivors. If that’s how you played them you were playing them wrong, hence the frustration; hence this rant post.
So the Legion was supposed to be #########, but the Devs underestimated the Killers' ability to adapt. Got it.

....actually yes. To spread damage and cause more than one person to be unable to work on gens. Split pressure.
So the problem is a poor vision from the start?
-
Same reason why they can barely see over short loops. You can't have best of both worlds for everything.
-
Where is that BBQ shrine watch goofball? Lol
-
However would the Survivor mindlessly loop them, though?
-
It's hard to put Spirit in that list until they fix her audio bug and Survivor noises in the upcoming months.

SWF is no fun for the people facing it. When does it get gutted so we don't have to see it every game? @ClogWench
Point still stands on Adrenaline, too. Moving the goal posts doesn't count.

Hooray for loopable M1 Killers! Next on the hit list: Nurse.

Legion was no fun for people facing him. They clearly weren't about to rework him so at least now I'm not gonna see him every second game.
Adrenawin is no fun for people facing it. When is that going to be gutted so we don't have have to see it every second game? @ClogWench
-
At this point, I fully expect the Freddy rework to be several paragraphs of nerfs followed by a single buff(like transition is only 5 seconds) to compensate.
-
Except that the Nurse can down a Survivor after ignoring the pallet/vault, Legion won't be able to.
-
Vomit is close enough to a free hit with the correct add-ons or aiming properly. Then she has the option of gaining corrupt purge eventually. Legion can never down someone outside of M1, he can only be looped.
-
Plague also gets a free hit and then has to follow up with a 115% ms M1. Look how much she is tearing up the meta.
-
@PolarBear Plague also gets a free hit with her power and look how much she is tearing up the meta, amiright?
-
Can't even reliably use the Feral Frenzy to counter loops because you absolutely can't down with it anymore. Thanks devs, another Plague.
-
Jeez, way to throw every single possible nerf at the Legion. It's ok though, because we made him 115% movement speed. Another boring M1 Killer.
Of course, all the Cryhard Survivors are dancing in the streets now. So it's fine
-
Funny, the devs just went out their way to define a couple of exploits, one of them even pertaining to the Legion. Yet no mention of moonwalking while they were doing so. Hmmmm....
-
What, Franklin's Demise is effecting the bloated item economy of Survivors like it's intended to do?
Good.
-
Feng is the best squeaky toy.
-
I'm sure the devs will see when they look into the matches, but there will be a hell of a lot of false reports about this too.
During Tru3's stream today, there was a match against Legion where the mend time was slightly longer. His whole chat was screaming exploit when it was quite obvious from the Deep Wounds bar that the killer had Deep Wounds Study. Turned out the Legion only had the one knife.

so you don’t just dodge you DC at the loading screen. Yeah you’re opinion isn’t needed when you’re clearly admitting to participating in bannable offenses.
Sorry I don't appreciate people trying circumvent advantages the game provides to the killer for the sake of balance, fam.

@[Deleted User] said:
I have found only 1 way to counter lobby dodging. You load into the lobby with a default clothed Ace and no item. You then wait for the match timer to reach 6 seconds and then switch to whatever survivor you actually want to play as.
I agree 100% that lobby dodging happens way too often, which is why I pull the old switcheroo now. This is also why I NEVER dodge when I play killer because I know how annoying it is.
EZ alt+f4
You'd only find this tactic necessary if you intend to play like an #########. I don't need to put up with that level of toxicity, thanks. Enjoy the infinite loading screen.

Read the whole thing (about playing solo survivor) then we’ll talk.
So you were certain that none of those total strangers were SWF, had a history with the killer, or had bad ping?

Balance for voice coms, then we'll talk.

A long time ago, there was an exploit that allowed Survivors to move up some collision on the outside of the Asylum on Disturbed Ward. Killers couldn't do that or only with great difficulty, this created 100% secure spots for the Survivors.
People were perma-banned for abusing it, but since that was just before we got soft bans, they were unbanned and instead received strike 1.
This. So even under the direct threat of a permanent ban. Scum still did it, there was absolutely no way to not do it on purpose, and got banned. Then Bhrv turned around and said, "Eh, not really."
It's a dangerous precedent.
-
I'm more interested in if they will be banned, or Asylum Exploit "banned."
Of course, these are a detriment to Survivors, so probably the former.
-
Do you want to be slugged as the last Survivor remaining? Because that is how you get slugged as the last Survivor remaining.
-
If all 4 Survivors are present on the end screen and you got 5k in Survival, then the killer DCed.
If it's just you on the end screen and you did not get 5k in Survival, then the game DCed you.

How many survivors you see run no mither?
That wasn't the point. You said pallet looping was fine because there were perks to help against it. I'm just using the same logic. @Detective_Jonathan
Clearly more Survivors should be using it since moonwalking Legion is such a terror.
Still waiting for a response for using tracking perks.
-
You said pallet looping was fine because there are perks to help against it. Good thing Survivors have No Mither then, right? Straight hard counter to Bloodhound moonwalking.
-
How is waiting out Myer's power helpful in any way when he walks up, taps M2 to go into EW3 and immediately downs you?
And again, what is wrong with Bloodhound being used for it's intended purpose? Is it not meant to track injured Survivors? Hell, actually walking back isn't even necessary. I play my Legion with Stridor so I can find Survivors mending after their bar reaches 33% or less. Am I exploiting by using a tracking perk to.....TRACK?

Myers Building up his Stalk is a legit strategy as it is something i would see him doing if the trials were real, what you're doing is calling every little thing an exploit because you have nothing to back up how it isn't an exploit of the chase mechanic.
Like come on now, it's common sense how someone can see it is an exploit, everything that you listed has a counter play to it. Moonwalking Legion does not. Period.
So one tapping Myers was an intended feature? I doubt it. It was a strategy devised by killers after they learned how his power works. Where is the counter play that makes it alright? Don't let Myers ever look at you? Don't let him sneak up on you? M&A and Dead Rabbit exist.
I am using common sense. What I described is the perks being used for their intended purpose. What is the purpose of Bloodhound if not to track injured Survivors?
Again, your only basis of exploit appears to be "Not Fair!".
