I just don't understand how it isn't painfully obvious that the pins need to add those status effects when Deep Wounds is inflicted by Feral Frenzy.
It's like if the wraith's blind warrior add-on required the wraith to be light burned out of cloak first.

It promotes no reward for the survivor even though he played well all game. Made saves, did gens, broke chases. But his team died on him and now it's his turn without any way to get out himself.
Your reward is a chance at hatch. Don't fail that too.
-
I would main Marth in a heartbeat.

I'd rather this was about how one sided the 1v1 scenario is now compared to them blocking off one gate. Case in point if you get found at any point (hello whispers) you've lost unless you have a key to re-open the hatch.
Almost like you aren't supposed to win a 1v1 in a 1v4 game, huh?
-
I hope not.
I'd hate to have another killer Freddyed in two weeks again.
-
Pig also got nerfed and apparently Ghostface's power involves crouching too!
*Grabs tinfoil hat*
-
Damn, @Orion making me miss the awesome button so much with these on fire posts.
-
The Terror Radius isn't extended to apply more pressure though. It's just a straight nerf so Survivors have more time to spread out before you enter Feral Frenzy.
-
No idea, but it's a huge slap in the face since those used to be the increased movement speed add-ons. Now they are the "Hey! Check out those Survivors you won't come close to catching!" add-ons.
-
I would, but I don't need the painful reminder how much Clown sucks. :(
-
Pretty much what I've been saying as well.
Bring back Variable TR, Get rid of the vault nerfs, at least bring back the faster movement add-ons. Boom, Legion fixed. More viable, still can't be exploited, still holds Legion's core vision intact.
-
Probably when they think we've forgotten about the Legion nerf.
-
This only works on stupid Survivors who don't 99% doors and for some reason just stand in the gate when they see BW up.
-
Because he is just a boring M1 killer now. There is no thrill in Frenzying and playing against him is even more boring than against Wraith or Trapper.

yes it stopped while mending, but it also was able to be cheesed by moonwalking in the ptb and that was the biggest issue that was a lot of the reason he got nerfed this time. even in the ptb even if you stopped to mend if the killer kept pressure up he could run the timer down by not looking at you and keep you moving so you could not mend, hence the problem in the PTB was prevalent then and was more prevalent after they changed the mend. So it would appear that you have a terrible memory.
How was the PTB Legion pressuring your timer by looking away if it stopped while you were mending? @EqMonkVeeshan
-
I might have missed it in the wall of text, but what about Bill mains?
-
Wow you have a terrible memory. Legion was terrible in his PTB because Deep Wounds stopped while mending. It was only after that was changed did moonwalking matter.

That is not the case. The basement still only has one entrance and one exit. If the killer knows you're in there, it's pretty much a guaranteed hit. Making saves in the basement is still a very risky thing to do. The only thing that has changed is your ability to block the stairs and grief.
You say that like one hit means anything in this meta.

I guess that's the price for better FPS.
Sure, except it wasn't an issue in any previous patches and only happened in the PTB and now.
-
First pic is on Low(Which I play for frames) and second pic is in Ultra. The last patch was fine and, IRRC, this was listed as a known issue for the PTB.
-
Talk about a huge waste of time testing the PTB and providing feedback, again.

Yeah, quite sad that you actually need Skill (if DBD has any) to kill people and not get them by just standing at some Stairs.
But I know that this is the Level some people expect to get rewarded for.
I know right? Some people can't stand not being able to "WHHEEEEEE!" out of the Killer's lair because someone held M1 on them.
-
Can't have Survivor mistakes be punishable, now can we?
-
@Peanits said:
It's not quite that simple. If you just add a punishment to anyone playing in Survive With Friends, there would be nothing stopping people from queuing up at the same time and leaving the lobby if they don't get matched with their friends. Doing that, they would be able to completely avoid the penalty. On top of that, not all SWF groups are great. The vast majority are just a couple friends playing together and chatting in the background. Punishing them the same as a group that's trying as hard as possible wouldn't really make sense.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/460136#Comment_460136
Although it's not quite a haiku, it was a noble attempt and I do approve.
But SWF just want to play with their friends, right? Why would they dodge a little extra penalty if they just want to play with their buddies and not bully the killer?
-
@Peanits so a 100% kill rate at rank 20 is balanced by a 0% kill rate at rank 1?
-
Definitely reads like someone who only watched a couple streams to get any info. "The Spirit's katana has good reach"? LOL
-
I've been playing Plague a lot to use up puddings before prestiging her. The best tactic I've found so far is to use Infectious Fright to keep pressure going instead of hooking right away. The amount of Cryhards who can't handle being slugged, even for 2xBPs, is hilarious.
Even against a weak killer like Plague on some of her worst maps(Haddonfield and Lerys).
-
*unveiled
-
I use Bond for that niche and it sacrifices some range for more utility. Like early info about others going for saves and which gens are being worked on.
-
I've been doing very well with Ruin, Monitor and Abuse, BBQ, and Infectious Fright.
The add-ons are usually more effective Vile Purge and faster charge.
Ruin and BBQ are self explanatory.
M&A is great to get closer to Survivors. I don't know how the timing works for the larger TR in chase and Infectious Fright, but it doesn't really matter.
Infectious Fright is the hay maker though. If you break a Survivor and down them. It helps you snowball into breaking more Survivors and downing them. It even doesn't really matter to leave the first Survivor on the ground because even if they picked up, they are still broken AND they have infected whoever picked them up.
Faster charge feels so great to get quick pukes on Survivors, both Vile and Corrupt.
-
The slow ass projectile speed is literally countered by 90% of the loops available and Plague has to respect the pallet each time around or she loses it.

I explained that the bloodhunts are short because some people want to play normal and they can't because of the farmers
And I explained that people would feel the need to farm less if these weren't such scarce and quick events to take advantage of.
-
Maybe people would be inclined to play more regularly if these events weren't so scarce and short.
-
Where are these statistics?
-
No idea, the only time I've ever seen them in use is Streamers trolling the Hag player by setting off the trap from the safe side of a window because of the extended range.
-
@xChrisx said:
Billy instead of oneshot should put the mend status, and nurse needs a complete rework for her broken power
Not since they've made Deep Wounds a laughable inconvenience, no. LOL
-
I play both though. So I guess I want both sides to be OP?
People just assume I'm a killer main though because I still call Survivors out on their BS. Even when I'm experiencing it from their point of view..
-
@Plu said:
The slow vault speed would only make sense if iridescent pin was like baseline and if it blocked windows like bamboozle, still no idea who tought this change was a good idea.
Speaking of add-ons the Killer instinct radius ones are worthless because you can't even reach the person you track because of how slow you are.
Yeah it's a real slap in the face that they replaced the increased speed add-ons with those. The first time I went to the PTB, I was like "I'll just equip my usual faster speed+duration add-ons and.... ######### is this #########?!?!?"
-
And apparently the pins require you to hit a Survivor already in Deep Wounds with Feral Frenzy. Eating a 4 second stun and gifting the Survivor with a boost of speed in exchange for a minor inconvenience.
-
Honestly, Beast of Prey should be reworked to be a viable perk so the Killer has an option to spend a perk to mess with the red stain. Bloodlust is way too inconsistent a mechanic to rely on.
-
Will there be a PTB survey before patch 2.7.0 launches? @Peanits
-
Yeah, I meant while out of FF still.
Although one could argue that a larger TR is worse for FF since you aren't going to catch anyone outside of roughly 11m when you use FF.
-
It never ceases to amaze me how many times the fix suggested is the same one already tried and proven to be abused by Survivors.
-
PTB is still live, so doubtful. The patch probably won't be for another two weeks at least.
-
You can cancel being healed by running or moving away. It's probably people jumping the gun and leaving the heal too early.
-
The problem is making sure that it doesn't become p2w by accidentally making Survivor noises easier to hear over some chase musics than others. I would pay for more variety though, especially different Moris.
-
Survivors De-ranking out of the red ranks means that match making starts looking into other ranks to fill lobbies.
