"Just don't tunnel!"

Is this year's "Just break the pallet."

Change my mind.

  • I mean it's not like you can literally deny use of the perk by not tunneling and slugging. You can also use enduring to make the stun irrelevant.

Also post on your own thread. don't make another one that's pointless like this.

  • It wouldn't be bad if the perk only activated while gens need to be done. End game is already a pain and now you have a 1 minute immunity of hook which is insanely long once the gates are powered and a 5 second stun second chance....

It's not like you seem to be ignorant as to how the perk is being used optimally in this meta.

Heres the thing. Current DS isnt played optimally in this meta because it was made useless with enduring. The amount of stun plus the period in which the survivor couldn't move made ds a waste of a perk slot. No perk should be useless.

It you dont want to get hit by it. Don't tunnel or slug the player.

  • That statement literally proves my point.

    Thank you.

  • The comments here are ridiculous. Has anyone played killer? People have broadened the definition of tunneling to mean "attempting to hook someone twice within a minute". Survivors shouldn't be entitled to stupid plays. If you unhook somebody before I've left the hook, that's a bad play and there should be consequences. If you don't block for an injured person off the hook, that's a bad play. If the injured person runs away from everyone to a dead zone, that's a bad play. Yes, it sucks for the unhooked person, but survivor is a co-op mode and sometimes you get bad teammates in co-op games.

This is exactly my concern, why do the Killers have to be punished for a survivors bad save? Why has it become that getting someone of the hook in the killer's face isn't a threat anymore thanks to some perks, It's crazy.

    Exactly! "Just don't tunnel!" though.

  • Most of the people commenting aren't even playing/don't understand the meta, for what it's worth

  • @Bongbingbing You can't make a good save when a killer stands in front of you

@DelfadorSo the killer makes a decision to camp, which leaves the Survivors free to do gens, but then gets punished because the situation is a win-win anyway for Survivors because of DS?

  • @Tzeentchling9 Essentially yes that's true.

  • LMFAO

Now "Just don't tunnel!" is starting to become a response to complaints about MoM.

I'm dieing here. You can't make this stuff up.

    Nice Necro

Now, tell me. What suggestions do YOU have to change MoM? Oh what's that you've done nothing but complain? Oh okay. I see.

  • @Kagrenac Make MoM only active for 60 seconds after unhook :)

  • Why are you forum tunneling the OP, @Kagrenac?

The perk, as it stands now, is currently unsalvageable both in terms of activation condition and effect.

Even doing something rash like adding a permanent Broken effect would do little to mitigate the damage done when used by a survivor that is competent in the chase.

  • We still have to find another thingy for "Change my mind" because it's residentsleeper as well.

  • "Just break totems".

    Agreeable.
