Don't think that's how it works, the Entity is like a otherworldly being, it wouldn't be any different from making a map or a Killer or Survivor.
That's how I see it anyways?
-
I would like to see an add on pass on her if anything, the brown and yellow add ons imo are her best add ons, don't really use green, purple or Iridescent.

Its called sarcasm, buy the chapter if u want, keep being apart of the problem
You're being part of the problem by still playing the game and participating in the forums, as in excessive crying.

No one has said that, just don't even bother with the monkey brain, he's too mad to make a coherent sensible comment.

Dang bro my head is on fire and i'm sweating bullets! i'm so angry that you are even THINKING about buying the next chapter! GRRRR dont but it!
Okay? What are you trying to accomplish besides being obnoxious? "don't spend money on this game cause I don't like it!!1!!1"
Sounds to me you just want attention.

Making up your own rendition of what I said is pretty smooth brain pal, but yeah keep getting offended of your own mental version of what someone said
I'm finding this quite hilarious how butthurt you are over all of this, you're arguing over why people are cash cows to BHVR and anyone who tells you good advice is bad to you, you're the one getting heated over being told others are going to buy the chapter.

YEAH BRO, I TOTALLY TOLD YOU NOT TO BUY IT... smh smooth brains cant even read a post without making up words in their heads
but yeah have fun with that 15$ skin playing at 20 frames a second while getting hit through a pallet
You're calling me a smooth brain despite using the same statement twice to two different people, riiiiiiiiiight.
try playing a single player game or something, i'm worried that you'll break something else in your room.
I will have fun with what I want to get and buy because it's none of your business as it's my money.

You're the type of guy that really doesn't like free speech, if it isn't your opinion its the wrong opinion, hmm?
Never said you can't speak your mind, but i'm going to correct you when you tell others how they should spend their money.
It's their money, not yours, mind your own business.

tbf the OP is right, we should restrain ourselves from just immediately blowing all of our money on this chapter. The last 2 chapters have been... mediocre, so we are a little concerned about this chapter. I don't agree with most of the the OP is saying, but just be a little careful with your money.
That's a good point you make though what you do with your money is none of my business, like how it's none of OP's business if someone wants to spend 8 bucks on a DLC, people work for there money or get it by their own means, who am I or anyone to tell someone else what they can and can't buy, there's no point crying over something you can't control.

BHVR stated that they are bringing them in by time, some Killers who got major reworks got their themes, some Killers who don't have themes are because either they're licensed and it'll come once deals are made or they were made before themes were in the game so it's coming over time.

Just so long your tunnel session doesn't exceed 60s and/or The Killer slugs you beyond 60s. If the tunnel session falls within this narrow criteria, then yes it is "anti-tunnel."
Bring Unbreakable, either way the Killer either lets you go or wastes their time.
-
Any map with god pallet into a jungle gym loop, happens more often than you think.
-
Or play another game? Why waste your time playing a game where you leave a match anytime something you don't like happens to you, it screws others over.
-
It's a anti tunneling perk, not am immunity perk.
Once you are available to touch an objective, you aren't being tunneled through your own choice to deactivate the perk.

This game is a horror-themed party game. It's Smash Bros. but for horror fans. The casual play-for-fun demographic is going to be the majority of players. This game is not built for comp play nor should it be.
It shouldn't be broken as hell, but that's a separate issue. So no, casuals are not ruining the game, they basically are the game. BHVR would be much better off not breaking it to fit some fantastical e-sports pipe dream and instead focus on adding more fun elements to the game.
"Dead by Daylight is Smash Bros for horror fans".
most atrocious comparison i've heard

mike is really really good imo, i wouldn't care if they changed him (for the better) because im a mike main but ya the ability to insta down people is really really good imo
It's easier for Ghostface to do that, and it's at 60 seconds, I get your point and i'm not gonna disagree or try to change it, but keep in mind that there's the opinion often thrown is "this killer is just a worse version of this killer".
Not saying Myers is weaker in any form, but the argument is often there.

@TripleSteal said:
He can reliably snowball in pub games against pretty much anyone below 5k average hours, assuming you make no strategic mistakes. That's the only killer I had over 95% lethality with at some point.
Playing against comp teams will most likely result in 0 or 1 hook per match, though. He becomes exponentially weaker against stronger and more coordinated players.
That's my personal issue despite maining him, tough stuff.
-
Can't it work the other way too? It's natural to benefit off of mistakes, just pay attention to the Survivor and don't break LOS.
-
@NoOneKnowsNova said:
The only thing he needs is his 180 flick thing removed. Otherwise he's completely fine. People may cry for that.
Don't worry about it on console. haha...
;(
-
PTB was extended, look where that got us, the same issues were in the PTB with Trickster despite the LARGE amount of feedback.
Might as well release a Killer without a PTB after bugs are fixed, they already spend their time releasing bug fix patches after the PTB anyways.
-
Using your power 9 times out of 10 puts you at a disadvantage, you're better off using your m1.
110% killer, breaking LOS and losing distance seriously hurts you.
You'd be better off m1'ing with Freddy, or even Michael.
-
Had a Trickster 4k my first match, issue is that it wasn't due to his kit, like Scott Jund said relatively:
It's based on the mechanics and perks of Killer itself.
The issue with Trickster currently is that you're wasting your time using your knives when you can m1, in that case just play Freddy or anybody else, he's newly released so people may not know how to counter him yet, all you need to do is break LOS and create distance, then he has to chase you in 110%.
-
DS is a anti tunnel perk, not an immunity.
-
I've hit red ranks as Killer on console (and mobile but we don't talk about that), Survivors play the same in red ranks as they do yellow or green, even rank 20's, the only exception is red rank carried SWFs who coordinate with crutch perks and communication, solo wise, no skill gap difference, SWFs are just naturally in a good spot cause they have that chance to be verbal and make call outs.

He walks faster, vaults faster and lunges further in tier 3 there is no change needed.
Very minimal buffs that can be looped like any other m1 killer, Sprint Burst can negate him pretty good.
-
@kickasskiel said:
Michael main on console, find him completely fine as is, currently doing a no perk/addons or offering challenge with him. Can be hard but finally on a 5 streak and going to keep going have a bet with a friend to hit 10 minimum. ( Btw im in red ranks 1 ).
Ranks do not matter nor reflect skill.
-
Grinding DBD for hours without challenges as Killer to only get like 2 tome levels.

DS is a tunnel prevention perk, not an immunity perk.

His kit works just fine in the current game assuming he doesn't get a map that actively works against it. If he does get a bad map, he's basically a bad Oni.
Issue is that he shouldn't be comparable to any Killer, he should be unique to himself.
-
Not Spirit lol. :)

Borrowed Time, I guess.
On Claudette I use SC/DS/Lithe/BK...
Seems like the easiest thing to do would be just swap DS for BT.
I wonder if this will be the norm, or if DS will continue to be used as frequently as it currently is.
Try replacing Lithe and any exhaustion perk with something non exhaustion related, I stopped using exhaustion perks and honestly it's done me really well, saves me an extra perk slot.
I run Aftercare, Borrowed Time, We'll Make It and We're Gonna Live Forever.
Super useful solo queue build, gets your teammates back in the game quick and gives the info to others to know things are fine, also helps locate the killer.

Just think about how long it takes for Myers to get going in a match. He’s so slow in tier 1 and it takes a bit to level up if survivors are attentive.
Also, just think about other killers that start off slow and get their power which is meant to be very scary. There’s Oni who can zoom across the whole map and Plague that has an insane ranged attack. Myers just has insta downs but is still an M1 killer. He can vault windows faster in tier 3 but it’s not really that convincing.
He has a little bit of a longer lunge range, you can still just deny him by holding W into a strong pallet loop.
-
Killer indefinitely, I don't want to spend the whole match carrying my team as a Survivor for them to do nothing.
As Killer I am not dependent, feels really good to stomp a narcissistic crutch team.
-
"You're running Ruin, Surveillance, Undying and PGTW, typical killer lol"
Huh, wonder why most killers run it, so games don't last 3 minutes, not a fan of tunneling in the game although I am also not a fan of losing 2 gens cause I couldn't find any Survivors within 40 seconds.
I can't play any fun builds that doesn't include gen pressure unless i'm fine with depipping and getting very little blood points, why play Legion or even the newest Killer when I could just play Freddy and some high mobility Killer, some S tiers like Spirit just so I can save time and actually stand a chance.
Two Survivors working on 1 gen can finish a gen from 80 seconds to 44.44.
Three Survivors working on 1 gen can finish a gen from 80 seconds to 33.33.
Four Survivors working on 1 gen can finish a gen from 80 seconds to 28.57.
Or all the Survivors can spread out and hammer gens to no return, to in which I have to slug off hook to make sure that person doesn't do gens without tunneling them, or whatever that doesn't upset people.
A fun build and play style will benefit you a lot less then a efficient play style.
If you think losing with no chance to bring the game back in your favor is fun, then you're a horrible liar.
Feeling like you can't do anything when you try to play a fun killer and fun build is not fun, it lowers your fun value when you have to go out of your way to be sweaty as a Killer when Survivors can do bare minimal and win without a sweat when they have a team who slams gens 99% of the match.
Loops are a different story.

@FFirebrandd said:
I would not say he's outdated. He honestly has something that is incredibly powerful that no other killer does. 100% undetectable that only ever ends when you want it to and you can attack out of. That being EW 1. A smart Myers player can get a ton of value out of robbing the Survivors of all the info they'd need to avoid him and not get stabbed, even without the Scratched Mirror add on.
However... there's a lot of maps in the game now that are way too large, way too open, or way too safe for Myers to be able to get any value out of EW1 or even out of the half size Terror Radius present in EW2. When you get one of those maps, you end up just trying to make him function as a slower, weaker Oni and it just rarely works. I don't think there's really anything wrong with Myers himself... I think the map design has just been screwing him over quite a bit.
Seriously, there's all the Badhams, Rotten Fields, Shelter Woods, Ormond, Mother's Dwelling, and Blood Lodge that all suck for Myers for how open and big they are. The recent map reworks haven't done him any favors either. Chapel and Asylum got brightened up a ton so Myers sticks out more. Gideon Meat Plant used to be really good for EW1 gameplay but it got brightened, opened up, and made tons safer so now it sucks.
I was planning on putting more pulls but I accidentally submitted early, i'm not talking about add ons rn or anything to enhance him like other killers, talking of his kit, does it feel up to date with the current game?
-
I'm a Walmart worker, doing this through my senior year as a cart pusher, just want money, a tan, a workout.
Barely play the game any more, picked up on a lot of issues in the game and took a break for a while, I play on and off.
I feel pretty knowledgeable of the game so I spend my time trying to help those who don't know as much, i'm rarely on, it's just free time.
I plan on moving to something bigger for work when I have free time and nothing else on my schedule.
-
For his personality I agree, there should be something to fit that 'stage persona'.

That's up to you then if you don't want to play trapper the optimal way. Freddy and hag have different playstyles though so you can't really compare them. Trapper can pickup survivors from traps(fully healed to downed) while freddy and hag have to hit them 2 times to achieve the same. You have to strategise and be adaptable if you have to play trapper, otherwise he can be weak.
This isn't about comparing, your version of 'optimal' is something other killers can do much faster and in rapid succession, they don't have to pre set and guess as much, regardless of how you set it, why waste your time on a low tier killer that can not protect gens when I can play a higher tier killer who can protect gens, 'optimal' trapper is bringing constant trap add ons and trapping basement, optimal is efficiency and Trapper is not efficient.

Yes, it's a challenge playing against swf with trapper but then you have to adjust your playstyle as well. A part of playing Trapper is to adjust your playstyle according to survivors which includes trap placements, like putting them in less obvious places. The thing is even good swf cannot dodge every trap and the traps they get caught in can be their downfall.
I understand that but regardless, why should I adjust when I can just play Hag and get better trap utility, easier use, even Freddy.
-
That may be annoying, but I ran across one guy who was moving at 120% or so as Clown before his changes, there are people who try to hide their hacks and go to the minimal, use it as a crutch instead of just "fun".
-
Person makes outrageous statement or something odd sounding.
Person disagrees heavily and says something different.
War.
Me vs. Them, Them vs. Me, most the people making an argument are people with less than 5 hours of playtime.

Don't have an issue with how much a character costs, what I do have an issue with is:
You have Adam's base hair with the character, you want it just a few centimetres taller with a straight top? pay 4 bucks, or 10 for the whole skin.

@RK67 said:

I guess that's how trapper is played. He is slow to reach his full potential that's why people underestimate him I guess. Regarding addons, main addon of trapper is his bag addon which is easy to get rest is optional if you are good at trapper.
You spend a few minutes setting up traps, losing a few gens, then all the sudden, a survivor buddy tells his team in voice chat "There's a trap at cowshed window" etc, a lot of effort for your power to be negated by it being spotted by even some casual friend group.
