They need to drop the roar on her ambush.

The endgame has been iffy for a while now. The devs mentioned that they're working on it.

how?
More people end up playing killer to grind bloodpoints and/or to try out the new character. This ends up causing a surplus of killers and not enough survivors, which increases lobby times.
Only low rank queues are problematic because thats where all the survivor mains are with their killers.
It's been affecting the upper ranks as well. A lot of people play both sides so it throws off the balance when those people start playing way less survivor.
-
I'm no pro, but I'll leave my two cents.
1.) I've heard that many view spamming the struggle button on the hook is seen as "I'm being camped." but there's no guarantee that people will read it as such. Newer players will probably still try to go for the save or scope out the scene.
2.) & 3.) For both of these, some players just like to stock up on offerings and items. They could be waiting to use an item when they have better add-ons or they don't feel safe bringing their one medkit in a match.
4.) Newer survivors might use the clear regent with the belief that it'll make it easier to see team mates, traps, or the killer but thicker mist is usually the best way to go stealth wise.
5.) Prestige 3 Claudette is incredibly hard to see. She has the nickname "Ninja Claudette" for good reason.
6.) The best way to deal with Myers is to not let him feed. If you're running away from him, put as many things between you and him as possible to break line of sight. Don't wait by pallets either. Make it as hard as possible for him to stalk you. Make sure to keep an eye out.
Again, I'm no expert but I hope this helps.

Survivor-wise, level up Claudette first. Self-care is a really good perk if you're going solo and just in general. Then I would level up Meg for Sprint Burst. The next two are personal preference, but if you want to run stealth, go for Nea for Urban Evasion and Jake for Iron Will.
Killer-wise, Hag is a must. Ruin is almost essential in the higher ranks. Then I would go for the Cannibal and get BBQ. Hope this helps you get a good start. :chuffed:

Because like SJWs, you don't check your facts before make Looney toon 'injustice' statementsOne out of five female Killers moves at default speed (115%, or 4.6 m/s). All the others move more slowly. One out of eight male Killers moves below default speed, and his power allows him to get a permanent boost in speed. Do you really have to be so pedantic as to ignore the bigger picture?
There's no issue here. The reason they have slower base movement speeds is to make up for their abilities. The Huntress has range, the Nurse has a blink, the hag has teleportation, the Spirit has her phase, and the Pig moves at base speed. And funny enough, the Nurse is the strongest killer in the game and the Hag and Huntress are viable. You can argue that the Spirit is weak, but so are Freddy and Leatherface and they've sucked for a while now. Billy moves at base movement speed and has a speed boost as well as an insta-down, but I believe that they released him like that because all killers moved the same at the time. The Nurse is still stronger than he is. I think claiming that the devs are sexist for how they design female killers is silly. Honestly, the male killers have had it worse. Freddy is terrible, Leatherface is terrible, before his buff, Trapper wasn't that good and neither was the Wraith. The only top-tier male killer is Billy. The others are Nurse, Huntress, and Hag.

Maybe reword the text to ask what the best way to report them is and hopefully a mod can give you a clear answer.
-
You can't name and shame here, man. Sorry that this happened to you, those games suck, but this info should be linked directly to the devs. Posting it here could get you banned.
-
A good idea, but in order for it to work, we need a functioning report system. And even then, people will report for anything, regardless of whether it was toxic or not. The killer camped me? Report him. That survivor blinded me? Report him. Some things aren't as toxic as they're made out to be. And when it comes to cheaters and hackers, I think the game is better if those players were banned for good.
-
I don't think this is a very good idea. It will just throw people into lower ranks where they'll dominate people who are newer to the game. You're trading skill balance for queue times which will end up driving people away and increasing queue times again. Who'd want to start playing a game where higher skilled people can just pay some bloodpoints and bully you?

1V4, 4 Survivors can work up just as much BP working together than a Killer on there own. When's the last time you played both? It's far easier to get BP as a killer. Especially since the emblem rework and WGLF nerf. Jeeze I really hate when people are so full of themselves.
Okay kiddo lets calm it down with the insults, "full of themseleves." I play around 80% Killer, granted that is a bias opinion. But before you jump on your high horse, read what I said. Killers, statistically are at a disadvantage, k? Making it easier for one person, aka Killer, to make BP, k? Now, the other part, that you avoided, I mentioned that IF Survivors WORKED together, they would make just as much BP based on a 1v4 system. Now, would you calm those delicate feelz and reply with a constructive counter, instead of picking one line and throwing a toy or two out of the pram because someone disagreed with you?
Ok kiddo. How do you suppose 4 random survivors come up with a plan to work together? That sentence alone tells me you only play killer, be gone... can't be bothered with your biased opinion
"Loop when you're being chased and do gens when you're not" isn't exactly a difficult plan to follow yet it wins games
Still doesn't earn me 30k+ BP for hooking a few surivors. Try again loser.
Chill, man. No need to jump to insults.
-
I don't see much issue with buffing survivor bloodpoint numbers. Since it does seem to be the case that not enough people are playing survivor at the moment, I think it's reasonable. I also agree that it would encourage survivors to use another perk slot for BP. This wouldn't hurt killers mechanicly, so I don't see much of an issue.

Yeah, I'm happy to see the game doing so well. But if you jump back in, I'd suggest playing survivor for the moment. Lobby times for killers have been kinda rough.

When will you add a "one free kill" button for the killers?
Yes, this is a rant, but a right one.
Well don’t we feel entitled.
Yeah, entitled to gain the free escape, while the killer wrecked your team, and you deserve to lose.
Rancor is exactly what the killer hatch would be. It’s almost gueenteed, but not quite. Same with normal hatch.
While Rancor is along the same lines, the killer has to use a perk slot for it, whereas the hatch is a built-in mechanic. There's no necessity to grind bloodpoints on a character for a teachable or use shards on the shrine on the off-chance it shows up. The obsession also gains the slight advantage of being able to see your aura and gaining the knowledge of if you're coming for them or not. I see where you're coming from but if Rancor was built into the base of the game and the survivor wasn't given any advantages then I think it would be more comparable.

A couple ways I'd buff it are:
-Remove the symbol from the killer's HUD indicating that someone has it.
-Start the match off fine and, once hit, the survivor is not able to heal -

Hatch is survivor objective. Why should the killer get something for finding a survivor objective?why should the survivor get a free escape? yeah exactly lol ....
Because they completed enough generators for the hatch to spawn, and got to it before you downed them. It's a survivor objective.
bullshit. it creates a hatch standoff. so if i get to it first then what which last game i did exactly that. your thinking of it from survivor side. typical. not the killer side lol. survivor objective lmao. the whole mechanic was made by an idiot who did not think of both sides and blatantly ignored it. thats why its supposed to be being changed
You're right. Survivor should just fall through and not be able to be caught.
It's a survivor objective. You seem to continue to miss that. It's survivor sided when you fail to strategically play. You should have slugged or downed them before they got to the hatch.
Arguing that the killer should get brownie points for finding a hatch is like saying survivors should be able to barricade the basement for finding it first.
save your biased one sided crap for someone else. well its why they added in the ptb a hatch closing mechanic because their is nothing more unfun and boring than the hatch stand off as i found it first. says the guy who is saying the survivor should get it no matter what a get out of jail free card. no you miss that its unbalanced and should be able to be closed if the survivor gets their first fine they get it free. i walked away plenty of times because i was forced to give it to the survivor. fail to strategically play. so im punished and everyone else for a broken flawed mechanic that credits the survivor giving them a free escape. alrighty then lol.
? I never said anything about the hatch standoff. If anything, I think it should be decisive. Because it's a survivor objective, survivors should be the ones to be rewarded for reaching it. The killer shouldn't be rewarded for finding a survivor objective.
The hatch is also fine as a concept. Even if it needs adjustments, it shouldn't be pointless for the last remaining person to try to survive. Let's be real. You were punished because you didn't secure the last remaining kills. You could always slug and prevent the hatch from opening.
ok you are plain ignorant. go play killer side. experience it and see how one sided it is. the hatch is a bullshit concept. but let me guess your a survivor main so killer side doesnt matter. you are so biased its unreal lol
Ok. Come back when you want a discussion instead of whining about who mains what.
i was discussing it. you are using sheer bias. so honestly. [BAD WORD] off. and ignorance
Sounds like you were just ranting. Then calling me biased. Good discussion.
coming from you who feigns ignorance. and ignores the big picture of both sides. adios.
Mom, Dad, please stop shouting.

well guess what. You need 4 survivors and only one killer to play this game so either you accept that the hatch is a necessary "game's flaw" or you can go back to fortnite or friday 13. And one last thing im currently rank 2 and i lost count of how many high ranks survivors are useless idiots so dont give me that bullshit that the hatch was made to compensate for new and inexperienced survivors and now high rank killers are paying the price for it gtfoThis crud has been held over the devs head for a while now. Because of this, they held off from giving them necessary nerfs for years (pallet vacuum) and catered to their demands as fast as they could (Freddy nerfed within a week after release.) But guess what? Killers are necessary for this game as well and the devs are realizing that. Since there are fewer killers then survivors, more people are affected when they begin to leave. Survivors saw that when the killers striked a while back and queue times skyrocketed. For the health of the game, it needs to be balanced. And I've been to rank 1 as survivor. Looks like my personal experience is different from yours because I had far more people with me who had great perks, good awareness, and map knowledge. Are there bad players in the higher ranks? Yes, but that's because it's so easy to pip in this game, a baby can do it. The hatch is a second chance escape that punishes a killer for playing well. As for the survivor who got it, they might've deserved it. Maybe they were the only one doing gens. Or they might not have deserved it. Barely doing anything and letting the last guy die to get it. Them deserving it or not rarely plays a part in if they get it.

most of the times the killer get more bloodpoints than a survivor that managed to escaped so what are you all main killer bitching about. Jesus fckin christ these guys can't accept that they suck playing killer and therefore he escaped 😀 end of the story, grow a pair and learn to lose
Bloodpoint numbers don't equal balance. By the way, if the killer sacrificed three of the four survivors before they could finish the gens, how does that make the killer bad? And why should the survivor be given a free escape where they hold almost all of the power when the killer played well?
maybe because survivors have to deal with another 3 people that in a good amount of cases end up leaving the match as soon as it starts, ragequitting, wasting time cleaning unlit totems to get points, hiding in a closet and not doing ######### and the list goes and goes on. So the question is why to the devs have to appeal to main killers when if they fck up it's their and only their fault while if you play survivor you depend heavily on your team... so yeah hatch is staying how it is like it or not
Survivors playing poorly isn't the fault of the killer. Balancing around survivors screwing up is a terrible idea and will only continue to lead to imbalanced mechanics like the hatch. If you balance the game around noobs, eventually those noobs will get better which will throw off the balance. You, as a survivor, don't have to survive to pip. You can still climb the ranks to get teamed up with people who are more experienced. If you do enough to pip, you'll be paired up with better survivors. And balancing the hatch so that it isn't as survivor-sided isn't catering to killers screwing up, since in order for the hatch to open they need to sacrifice the other survivors. Instead, it punishes the killer for doing well and potentially rewards a survivor for nothing. Yes, in the lower leagues the other survivors can drag you down sometimes. But in the upper ranks, the killer has to put up with experienced loopers, flashlight users, SWF groups, coordinated players, and gens being done at light-speed. The other survivors can be just as much help to you as they can hold you down.

I think they did a great job with it. They seemed to focus more on making areas where you can stealth instead of loop and the color pallet of the map is really nice on the eyes. It's very unique with the japanese style as well.
-
I don't want looping to go away entirely. Rather I want it to be nerfed so it isn't as strong as it is now. As for other ways to play, a fair mix of stealth and using the map to keep ahead in a chase, like pallets, windows, and looping to an extent is what I'd like to see. I can see your point in stealth being a bit weak though.

Why would they go for a different survivor if going after you is smarter? As for DS, it's another tool at the survivor's disposal. I consider it too OP, but that isn't the survivor's fault. In my opinion, saying somebody sucks for using the tools given to them or playing smart is going overboard.Half of the time, they are just not camping but looking behind them at a distance, which let's them tunnel. They don't suck at the game for it, remember what I said? I say they suck that they do it and that it's used over and over again and it ruins the fun for people.

I know what you said and I still disagree. They still don't suck as people for playing tactically. Isn't it ruining their fun if they're insulted for playing smart and pressured to go easy on their opponent? It's kind of a non-argument since saying something is 'unfun' can be applied to many things. Being camped isn't fun, having your totem destroyed at the beginning of a match isn't fun, getting blinded isn't fun. Does the other side suck because they're ruining my fun? Unless they're going out of their way to spite me, then no. A lot of it is me needing to get better at the game or imbalance, which isn't the player's fault.

I have seen people suggest that before, my problem is perks like hex ruin, thantaphobia and dying light on top of a potential hatch end game scenario. You are giving killers lots of outs and chances to camp and be rewarded by that. I wonder how the replay value would suffer from something like that.
I see what you're saying, but I still think secondary objectives are the best way to go. If this makes Dying Light and Ruin OP, then those perks should be nerfed because the core of the game should work without those perks.
