... Alright? I've seen worse font choices. My choice by far is not as bad.

Oh yea I've seen worse but it's really taxing on the eyes to read.

I struggle reading a lot of posts if they contain a Trump wall of text. Also bad grammar, but anyways. I do see where you are coming from.

Won't stop me from using it though.

  • Say what you will @DocOctober , I'll still run my fabulous Dwight, Ace, or David King.

My only question is, how does giving stat changes change what people already use? 90% already use Claudette or Meg. I myself was never one for the Meta. I only really use Self Care but I don't use much else. I mostly run Dwight Perks anyways.

Of course, I can foresee dms from fellow survivors for not running a certain character but I'll just ignore.

Here's a far more simple solution: How about remove Mori because it's toxic.

    Here's a simple answer:

Nothing in this game is actually toxic. Because the word has been abused so badly it has lost it's meaning.

    I'm curious now.
Not that they would probably do it just cause you want to, but what would you like to see in The Legion?

    Something 'simple' really.

The Legion was advertised as a group of teens and even Frank had been shown that, even if once, was able to fool survivors and hide his heartbeat. The trailer was misleading and the only thing dealing with The Legion's multi group function is the cosmetics.

I would have loved a sort of multi layered killer where depending on your cosmetics, affected the power in terms of looks. I would have loved to see the power reflect on a group idea.

Frank: Basic and the strongest of the group. Has standard terror radius and speed. He could vault pallets and windows, but cannot apply the deep wounds.

Julie: Basic and second strongest, can vault pallets at a slightly slower rate and vaults windows at a faster rate. She cannot apply deep wounds.

Susie: Slower and least strongest. She can vault pallets but has it reduced. She gains blood lust faster and applies deep wounds on hit. Her terror radius is much smaller.

Joey: Slightly faster and average in strength. His vaulting speed on pallets and windows are moderately slower. He applies deep wounds and has the largest terror radius.

My idea would be that if you have the Joey cosmetic, you start off the trial as Joey, and can then switch between the other Legion members during the trial, who would be sitting in random locations within 64 meters or more from your current position. Of course I put simple in quotations because I realize how much code it would take to do something like this. But if anything would make the Legion really unique.

    TL;DR:

I want the Legion to be one of the more Unique killers by allowing power to reflect lore and cosmetics. Each Legion member would have their own stats and you don't even have to switch between each Legion if you want. The option would be there.

I enjoy how people are asking for Legion's moonwalk to get nerfed so that the DW only goes down outside of a chase or out of the terror radius. This would in fact buff him. How?

    Monitor and Abuse.

The Legion has a set 24 meter Terror Radius, with M&A, that goes down to 16. If he were to get 'nerfed' like this, then he could track you down better then nearly every other killer using Whispers while you are affected by DW. As he'd have a idea of where you are because your timer doesn't go down, bringing us to our original problem to begin with.

"Then have it a static 24 radius"

That's still a better tracking ability then Whispers. And making it any larger then his actual terror radius would just make him completely unplayable on smaller maps.

Legion is broken no matter how you try to fix him. What he needs is a rework, not a nerf or buff.

That being said I enjoy playing as the Legion, but I see so many complaints, and especially suggestions on how to 'nerf' his playstyle, I needed to put this out.

Give me feedback on why you think I'm wrong, or tell me why you agree with me. But please, if you are going to argue against my point, GIVE ME ACTUAL CRITICISM. Don't just brush me off.

4ks can in fact be boring if you get them too easily. I literally had 4 disconnects yesterday in less than 3 minutes when I played Billy. I didn't feel like a winner. It's just boring and a waste of my spare time. Had another game as doctor (about 10 minutes) and put so much pressure on all survivors they'd start hiding. That's a 4k I enjoy.

Problem with that is that fun is subjective. Sure you don't find easy 4ks fun (I myself enjoy the occasional easy 4k. But don't take this as me completely disagreeing with you), but other people enjoy being fed 4k and salt. I do enjoy a little struggle myself =)

All the characters probably took inspiration or are based off of something. The Legion are just teenage rebels, it just doesn’t feel right seeing ANY of them (especially Susie and Julie) single handley demolishing a team with Tapp, David, Adam, and Jeff. Even if they are stronger in the Entity, it doesn’t feel right. My point is they just seem weak compared to the other killers. I just don’t like their look.

Nobody...I repeat, NOBODY is going to say FMT is a fair add-on. You don’t fix something that is wrong with a killer by making a broken add-on. Legion needs a complete rework. FMT makes the broken Legion even more broken.

There is no counterplay. Zero. Sure you can escape but if the Legion wants to make your round awful then they will. It’s stab, stab, fatigue, stab, fatigue, stab, hook, stay nearby the hook, stab, stab, tunnel, hook again...etc. This is just how I see a LOT of Legion players play them.

Running the killer around doesn’t equal counterplay. At least with a Nurse you can attempt to make her mindgame herself and predict wrong. Trapper? Easy, disarm his traps. Wraith? A flashlight will burn him. Myers? Break line of sight and stay far away from him in EW III. Doctor? Calm Spirit makes his power pretty useless. Hag? Flashlights and Urban Evasion. Legion? Nothing you can do but endure 28 stabs. Legion is just flat out broken and annoying especially with FMT.

I can’t really argue with somebody who is a Legion main.

I mean, there is the Hag. I don't care how much the Entity is helping her, her weak bone structure, size, and... Well Haggard appearance would make picking up someone like Dwight impossible, let alone Jeff. You can't say she is different from The Legion either, in fact, her case makes her worse then the Legion as she is obviously physically weaker.

Okay, I'll concede that Franks Mixtape is a bad add on, however I say it should remain, but change it's rarity.

Legion. ironically, shares the Nurse's weakness. LoS breaking while uninjured, and pure jukes while injured. As a Legion in their current state yeah, you're incentified to tunnel and camp, but so is every other killer who suffers similar problems.

I've answered this but I suppose I'll say it again. He suffers Nurse's weakness of Line of Sight Breaker weakness. He can't follow uninjured survivors well, and if you are extremely lucky, he wouldn't be carrying Bloodhound on him. (I run this perk all the time when I can on different killers.)

I am not necessarily a Legion main. I just like the Legion because they are people I can put myself in, I can identify with them. I am a Trapper Main, but I find myself playing more Legion as time goes on.

I love Legion, but I do agree they do need a rework since anything done to buff or nerf them will make them the single worst killer in the game on any account.

  • @MegMain98 said:
I don’t even like Legion cosmetic wise. They’re just your average stupid teenage rebels, nothing special about them.

I hate myself for this, but it has to be done.

Oh The Trapper? He's just every other slasher killer. Nothing special about him. The Nurse? Pfft I'd just go to Silent Hill, the Nurse isn't anything special. The Clown? So what? We got Pennywise to fear, clowns are overdone. What else? Oh. The Spirit is just a mutilated dead woman, I've seen so much of that in every other genre that I could hardly care.

The point is you can't say that anything in this game is 'Just your average [insert thing here]' because EVERYTHING in this game is taking something from somewhere. By your logic, you should (I'm not sure if you do) dislike every killer cosmetic wise. At least the Legion bring to the table four (Okay two, cause Joey and Susie don't have their own voices) different characters you can play. They are the most unique Cosmetic wise.. And before you say it, yes I am probably missing the point. But I'm tired right now and this is the best I can do while in this state.

    @MegMain98 said:
I second this. Gameplay wise he is poorly designed and extremely annoying. There is quite literally no counterplay especially with Frank’s Mix Tape.

There is a counterplay to him. I've done my fair share of defeating him. As with all the killers except for maybe the Nurse, the Legion gets punished by good survivors. Even I, who am not a good survivor, can run a Legion around for several gens without a scratch occasionally.

FMT just fixes what was a problem in the base kit of the Legion. Which is that his power is laughably weak, I say this despite being a generally successful Legion.

  • @Tarvesh

Been playing this game since 2017. I know what the grind is. But I've heard it was worse back then, which is why some players (pc only) have Legacy. The system that was suggested in op would help all the players who had been asking for a reward for increased devotion to the game.

  • @e8Lattice said:
Ruin: Toxic OP crutch that won't earn you any respect as a Killer, but if having fun at the expense of others is your thing go for it! just don't be surprised if you get a lot of disconnects out of protest.

I didn't want to add a comment in hopes that you were trolling, but I see that you are serious (or you're baiting, in which case you caught a lot of us).

As numerous others have stated already, Ruin is not a crutch. Let me say a opinion of mine.

No perk is a crutch perk as every perk is simply a tool to use. Unfortunately Hex: Ruin is so laughable weak in the high tiers it does not deserve the status of a 'crutch'. With that logic everything survivors have ever is a crutch, and the same with killers.

Play a game of killer without Ruin at rank 5-1. Then come back here.

  • @Tarvesh said:
Because it cuts down on the grind which is what helps to keep people playing the game.

True. But then you also have people complaining about the grind. So there is not any win win situation here. Maybe halving the points would be a good alternative?

It depends on how you define "evil."

Is it evil to kill for pleasure? Or is it insanity?

My view of evil is that it is the exact reverse of unconditional love. Evil is selfless. Where the one committing the evil acts get nothing out of it, but they do it purely out of the intent to inflict misery on someone else, even at the cost of making themself miserable in the process. Self sacrifice in order to cause pain on someone else, without getting any satisfaction or pleasure in it yourself.

That being said: who is the most evil killer? I would argue there are multiple candidates. Spirit, Nurse, Micheal. These three don't seem to take any pleasure in killing. They do it purely out of compulsion or malice. They harm others simply for the sake of causing harm to others. Like a force of nature. Indiscriminate and driven by cold, uncaring processes.

Spirit is a vengeful soul who kills because she was promised that she would get her vengeance. Nurse lost her mind and is forced to kill for the Entity. Michael is evil incarnate, he kills because that is all he knows what to do. Out of the three of them, the Spirit and Nurse are probably the less evil.

The two most evil in the game would be The Shape and The clown. The Clown relishes in killing, and was even rewarded in being able to keep his horse in the Fog.

I was playing against a Lagion when two team mates dced. It was just me and another survivor (Claudette) in the game. I was forced to play as Tapp so I didn't have a lot, but I did have Tenacity and Unbreakabill.

Anyways, Claudette was slugged and I was bleeding out, I had some time though. So what I did was run around and then I found the hatch. Taking note of it I let myself go down from the bleed wounds, but I began to crawl super fast towards the Claudette, I brought myself up and healed her to full. The Lagion couldn't find me fast enough while I healed Claudette to full health. I pointed towards the hatch, then I dced.

Claudette managed to escape, and I chalked it up as a win for me ^^
