I would imagine this would be the case.
I think they are given a momentary reprieve (the main menu) but when the trials start they are randomly sent to a location (point where we have control over them in the game).

My only gripe is calling Dwight a coward. Cowardness implies the lack of will or courage. He is a Nervous Leader, and while nervousness implies hesitation, I believe that when given proper motivation he can lose that nervous status. I do agree however, he isn't much of a runner.
He spent most of his life being the underdog with almost no redeeming qualities when not in the realm of our Lord(ess) the Entity. So that really is my only thing to say, otherwise you did a good job.

I have a cousin who stockpiled the hell out of the rare add ons. I think he's sitting on up to thirty or more of the rare-ultra rare add ons for Myers.
So you might have faced several people who also stock piled since even before the winter event.

Strangest trophy I did was From the Void She Kills. I wasn't even actively aware I had three blinks before I grabbed a Dwight from a gen. And this was on PS4 while I was tired.
Hardest trophy? I think it will be the adept Nurse once I get around to do it.

16, since there is [currently] 16 killers (I will not be counting Bill as a survivor since there is 17 with him being his standalone survivor). The time could be like five minutes in between kills, so if no one is killed within 5 minutes, the survivors automatically gain points. And the killer gains half the points if he hasn't actively participated. Also survival isn't really important in this event, just having fun. But I imagine being as immersed as possible with like eight killers around could be fun.
Items are found in chests and automatically have two random add ons, killers start with random add ons [in cases like Hag, two add ons that contradict each other will not be used together]. You gain blood points normally in addition to actual survival or killers.
The end reward would be cosmetics for the original four survivors, and the original four killers. You can earn these cosmetics for simply playing the event and earning a special currency called a token, the tokens will be easy to get due to how much cosmetics there would be available. (Obviously numbers can change, but my idea would be to make the event fun and worthwhile. Not the grindfest some of them turn out to be.)
I honestly would like this as a base gamemode.

This might just be a rare problem for a small amount of people. I fight against Doctors sometimes and I experience little to no framerate lag.

The new idle animations suggest they do speak to each other. Or at least acknowledge the other survivors.

As someone who really dislikes battle royal games in general I actually find myself enjoying Apex. Mind you it forces you to play as a squad of 3 people so unless you have friends get ready for rage quitting randoms and people who run off to do their own thing.
As a person who enjoys being as a part of a team, I often hang around the randoms to give support. Won me a game because of that. I was the bullet sponge.
