Jakes face looks like a potato so I’d go with him
-
It doesn’t need removal. It needs toning down

he also said Pig is D tier....
That’s where she belongs

What about the survivors who don’t use meta?
-
That hag one looks great! Too bad I’ll never see it in game
-
Dbd is so unique these devs are the only ones I trust to work on it

Don't have that perk and don't want Ash any other ideas
Head on or ds? Maybe power struggle
-
Deathslinger was wronged because he was Irish and for no other reason. He was shaped by the world he lived in.
-
Flip flop
-
Gives Myers some extra chase potential in T3. Could be a faster pallet break or even extra move speed
-
Gearhead obviously
-
I’ve noticed Victor can get on window frames now. I’d presume it isn’t intentional

If the direction is make them useless and meme worthy yeah...
I don’t know about that. Clown, doctor and bubba got some great add ons to choose from
-
I’d give him a bit of chase potential. Not too much but enough to make him not just an M1 killer

Jeff, honestly most times I completely forget that there’s a Jeff in my match. One time I put the third survivor on death hook and closed the hatch expecting the end game screen to flash and I was so confused until I realized there was still a Jeff alive.
@PureDoctorMain said:
Mostly between Jeff and Tap as the nicest I honestly even if they played really badly if their nice i'll normally let them have the hatch.
Nea don't like her 90% of the Neas i fight super toxic and they don't do it to like agro they'll force hits on their teammates. Had one game like this recently recently where a Nea ran me to a loop opened a locker i saw a dwight in there he got out and started to run behind the Nea ( he was injured she was not ) she dropped the pallet on him. He looked at me I looked at him broke the pallet downed the nea after a bit and no one rescued her. She got very upset and I was very happy. I let the rest of the survs go and we farmed a bit, good times.

The worst survivors in my experience are Claudette, Dwight, and Nea.
The nicest ones are Cheryl, Jeff, and Kate I'd say.

From my experiences the least problematic survivors I get are definitely Jeffs and....Megs.
However the worst I get are always Fengs. Always.
All 3 of us Jeff mains thank you :)

Ok I definitely approve of Rambo being in DbD. He'd make a good survivor. But then will who will be the killer? Or is he going to be sold as a standalone chapter? Like Ashley?
More than likely a stand alone like ash

I'm bored of going against survivors with the same builds every game. There are 89 survivor perks. I don't remember the last time I saw Babysitter, Vigil, Lightweight, Open Handed etc.
So much Dead Hard, Unbreakable users. Lithe, Balanced Landing, Sprint Burst and Iron Will is so common. Most of my matches I am seeing some combination of those perks. Others so rare.
There's your answer. Killers run power killers because survivors run the same busted and boring meta, and have been for years.
ALSO - even if you see someone like Trapper, Demo or Pig rarely - it's far more common to run into a killer that isn't played often than it is to run into a match without survivors running the crutch meta. Food for thought.
It leads to a terrible cycle too. If you run a off meta build as survivor you get slugged for 3 minutes against a nurse and if you play trapper or pig you get hit with meta builds
This makes everyone start using meta

I can’t stop getting huntresses and blights

They are fine because in both instances they are both centered around a horror theme and story. Ash's characters is from a horror show and movie and the Kpop star has elements of horror that makes it acceptable. Its slasher horror with just the esthetic and background of kpop.
Rambo is an ACTION hero from an ACTION movie. It's like putting Spiderman in DBD the character and story has nothing to do with horror.
Tbf the first Rambo movie while still an action film has some dark themes about PTSD and the way war veterans are treated.
Deathslingers lore is about how Irish people were treated poorly during the old west.

It currently is a mess beacuse the design team bandaided problems instead of fixing the core issues. Getting tunneled and camped? Run BT and DS and don't complain. Getting predrop-and-W'd? Play one of three killers and don't complain. Playing solo survivor? Run info perks and don't complain. And why aren't you allowed to complain? Because people will always point to the bandaids and say "JuSt UsE tHoSe". It's already happening with Small Game.
Bandaiding problems with perks and/or specific killers is genuinely idiotic game design. It is the absolute worst. It severely limits people's options in a game where variety is one of the key selling points. Sure, it's never going to be perfectly balanced with zero bandaids, but they could at least fix core issues instead of saying "should have used X".
I do agree with that. Solo will never improve until the devs add some base kit features to close the gap

A killer made with one explicit purpose isn't idiotic in of itself, it's the fact that they made a killer to fix the balance instead of fixing the balance itself.
If you want to play Oni, that's great, but you shouldn't be forced to play Oni to counter the injured meta
Different killers work against different strategies. If you struggle against a specific strategy then use a perk or killer to counteract that.
This game kinda has to be balanced around perks and killers because if it wasn’t high level play would be a mess
-
Does that make oni idiotic? He was made to counter the injured meta in a way
-
Overall some great changes but I’m unsure about ricochet. It could lead to a lot of accidental or unearned downs since it isn’t consistent enough to be strategically used
-
They are still finishing tome 2 if I’m correct since they have some recoulors left.
-
Deliverance is pretty decent but you have to play the early game safe and make sure you don’t get chased first
lithe is okay but I’d recommend dead hard or sprint burst for exhaustion perks
-
You don’t mock survivors like that but I’ve seen it plenty of times in solo q.

He can do ST in half a second. Hes not losing distance
It’s still enough to get an extra loop or two if he overuses it

Works well with Oppression and Pop

Smaller maps wouldn't be good for game I think it would be so easy to pressure gens and survs would have no chance to get remotely 1 escape also that brings less loops for them and windows and pallets I play mainly killer but I don't think survs should be brought into it
We can keep the same amount of loops and having smaller maps can help with the dead zones. More interaction with the killer is always a good thing too
-
I usually spend them after every match unless I have a survivor at level 50 then I save them

And that I totally get. I guess it would work better to do a combination of nerfs and buffs.
Let's take BT for example, with the ptb changes there's no reason to not run it in its current state regardless of what is done to other perks. Unless they made something like DS gives multiple stuns regardless of hooks BT will always be ran more. Id be totally fine making some adjustments to survivor basic gameplay to compensate for a BT nerf (like survivors get a 3 or 5 second built in BT, while the perk adds an extra 5 seconds)
Ds is in a good place now imo. I could see maybe changing it (I don't use it now so this may be a thing anyways) Survivor can self care but once they full heal DS deactivates while a partial heal leaves DS still active.
UB is more difficult tbh. Maybe keep as is?
I think DS should work on both hook stages but cancel out during endgame personally
As for BT I’m fine with it currently. They could remove collision for the unhooked though
-
@IWasLeft2Die said:
They've thrown around the idea of making other objectives which could be cool.
Id love for them to also nerf a lot of meta survivor perks (not from the argument that survivors are OP) but it's hard to imagine using other perks unless they get buffed very aggressively (excessively even) since the meta has mostly stayed the same for years.
While I like the idea of making more perks viable I don’t think this is the way to go. Perks like Bt, Ds and Ub are used because they counter annoying strategies like camping or tunnelling.
If we just nerf these perks killers will be more inclined to adopt these strategies
-
I don’t think the devs want to add a second objective. I’d rather they just make maps smaller and improve base gen regression so killers can pressure the map more

I agree about tampered timer that will have to be changed to something different. As for Amanda's secret it would be a red add-on and they can still get trap off just eliminates hatch really won't be every game.
Yes I dislike them seeing the boxes right of the start as well. Might as well just tell them while loading in like for rank 20's. I like it but there something in my gut that I can't quite figure out that telling me to say this would be OP. That being said though I don't find her weak so maybe that's why. Would like the boxes to be hidden and crouch quicker though.
If you are incapacitated and it’s the endgame collapse the pig can just keep chasing you no? You literally can’t escape at that point
-
Amanda’s secret could lead to some unfun endgame scenarios
Id also change tampered timer and crate of gears since they can lead to death since you can’t search all the boxes in time
-
Just like anyone who exploits the game to get an advantage. It means they aren’t good in the first place
-
What online competitive multiplayer game doesn’t get people mad?
-
Feel free to kill me all Jeff X Kate people but we all know Jane and Jeff are a better match
As for killer clown and his VHS porn
-
I’ve noticed a bit of an increase and more people actually eat DS now
-
This is my go to for Jane!
-
Most hated is spirit
Most over hated is doctor. Don’t see why people hate him so much
-
These are from a banshee killer concept I’m currently making
Teachable Perks
Hex afterlife:While your body crumbles your soul lives on. Gain a token up to 4 for every time you get pallet stunned or blinded. Each token grants a 10% increased lunge range and 5% pallet stun time reduction.
Hex decay: Any survivor who interacts with a dull or hex totem will receive the exhaustion status effect for 5 seconds. When a dull or hex totem is cleansed all survivors gain the exhaustion status effect for 15 seconds for a dull and 30 for a hex
Imprisonment: Kicking a generator will cause that generator to be blocked for the next 20/25/30 seconds. The generator does not regress during this time
Once activated this effect will go on cooldown for 60 seconds

Freddy should, somehow, burn the survivor alive.
I actually like his current one. It’s based off the film and feels satisfying to do

Doc is great imo. They could tone down his screen effects for anyone who finds them annoying though

I'm not sure if we'd be able to share them, I will check though - might be worth doing some sort of post/blog on here with the concept art on it. I think quite a few people would like things like that.
That sounds cool! I’d love if that could be done
-
They had some for the 50s one on their Twitter I believe but as for lead actress there’s really nothing
The archives cutscene kinda shows it though
-
Play survivor. You’ll get to know how they move better
-
I’m not sure what you can do really. Having a killer hard countered by an item is kinda dumb

Who’s keep it down a notch!
that’s some high expectations. Maaaaybe you will get a recolor in the next rift. If you are lucky. That will have to be enough for the next year. ;)
You’re right. It’s been like 7 months since his last one I guess I should just wait longer
But felix? Nah he needs a set from this chapter and two rifts!
