Funny of you to assume this game will survive into 2030.
What other asymmetrical game do I play? Evolve
-
Not really. Nothing will really stop killers from slugging anyway

Why not make it so he can drink his bottles? It takes 2 seconds but doesn't get bonuses from addons that effect the Yellow Bottles.
That would be pretty useless if you can use the bottles well

Oni's is epic, just punch's through the wall like a beast.
Also, petition to change Myers' breakable wall animation to him just Kool Aid Manning through it.
I’d save that for Jason when he gets added in 2030
-
Killers who dc if they get a map they don’t like. Only exception is midwich
-
Hey that’s the set I use!
As for tips aim where the survivors are going rather than at them. Make sure to aim slightly higher as well to make the gas spread further

I think the best way to reduce the gen rush would be an additional objective. No need for smaller maps, when survivors have to finish something else alongside gens.
Pigs high kill rate is probably because of the low pick rate. If more people played Pig, it would have a much lower kill rate. But then again, most things will probably balance out once the MMR goes live.
I think the kill rate on pig comes down to her add ons. Tampered timer and crate of gears are ridiculous on some maps.
A second objective could work but it’s unlikely they’ll add it since the games simplicity is one of the reasons it’s more popular than something like home sweet home
-
I like hillbilly’s and freddy’s the most

Not according to the dev stats. Lowest kill rate.
Btw, whenever a video gets shown, where survivors rush gens in 3 minutes. People come in storming that not everyone plays like that.
Now parting from that base, why do survivors want Nurse nerfs, when not every Nurse plays on god mode? Only a couple of them. Most Nurses play actually quite poorly and can be juked (you know, that other thing apart from stealth and running in circles, that survivors can do to lose the killer).
I agree that most nurses don’t fall into that category but that doesn’t mean that potential is still there.
That’s also why I want smaller maps and more predictable spawns so survivors can’t do 3 gens in one chase.
Cutting down these extreme cases is a great thing
Also if we are going off stats shouldn’t pig get nerfed? Her kill rate is very high
-
@Tsulan said:
I love how everyone names killers that ignore the running in circles meta to some degree.
We can´t ask survivors to change (adapt) their playstyle even in the slightest, right?
Anyway, here is some music you can play while running in circles.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MK6TXMsvgQg&ab_channel=kurbiekirk
Running in circles is how dbd is enjoyed by a lot of people hence why they hate killers who don’t do it.
The only killer that needs toning down imo is nurse since just ignores the entire game
-
If you struggle with dead zones and pallet placement used windows of opportunity. It’s saved my ass so many times
-
Killer: Clown
Gearhead, Oppression, Pop and BBQ
Survivor: Jane, Jeff, Quentin
Build: I change it a lot

Only in the open where there is no LOS blockers, go to a rock run around it and there easy as that you nullify trickster power... He is a joke and the worst killer so far.
I’d argue Myers is worse in his current state but they are quite close

You don't have to be a genius to figure out that Trickster is one of the weakest killers in dbd
Oh I agree he is quite weak but once learned he can end chases fairly quickly
-
I’ll add my own picks
Survivor
- Aftercare
- Autodidact
- Detectives hunch
- Empathy
- Dance with me
Killer
- Gearhead
- Trail of torment
- Dark devotion
- Oppression
- Blood echo
-
How many matches did you play him for?
-
You do realise people do this so they can piss people off enough to post on the forums right?
-
What else do they call it? Occasional testing if you’re bored or not?
-
Jeff’s perks
Breakdown is currently bugged
Aftercare could easily become the best info perks
Distortion could possibly just hard counter every aura perks if there are too many tokens available
-
I don’t blame them. Trickster is the only recent killer I don’t like though

So... Bubba players? 😂
More or less yeah
-
Anyone who hates this change 100% insidious camps
-
Because he plays very similar to deathslinger with a hint of legion
-
We don’t have any info on any new sales. A summer sale potentially could be the closest
-
He puts his head up slightly but it’s not really a nod
-
Deathslinger
- Great visual and sound design. Has clear strengths and weaknesses
- Pretty unfun to fight against since his chase potential is so good.
- He’s a good addition imo. He an alternative to huntress who offers similar gameplay but is still different enough for them to not be clones
- He could use a small cooldown when exiting his ADS to reduce his zoning
- His add ons are pretty bad and could use some changes
Oni
- Great power with great perk synergies. Has clear counterplay and has good sound queues for solo players
- Can potentially slug to well with infectious depending on the map. Can struggle against really coordinated teams due to how he gains his power
- Great addition. A fun new power burst killer who is like a modern more fun version of Myers
- Nerf top knot and buff his iri crest
- Why is he the only killer to have 2 different chase themes? The others need it too
-
Is it lopro chains? Using that add on he can go through the pallet the after breaking it to do one health state
-
A killer who specialises in the 1v1 doesn’t need 115% move speed. He can down at a fairly long distance so it’s unnecessary.
-
Anniversary toolboxes
Firecrackers
Early game collapse
-
This game’s new player experience is garbage. You have so much to grind and certain dlc’s are pretty much necessary.
The game has a bad tutorial too so even grasping the basics is hard

how about tapping the heal button and then getting an endurance effect.
that's bullshit that survivors can do that
If you see them do that you can wait out the timer. It’s really not a big deal

just my opinion, but if people will bring Small Game and Detective Hunch, I don't think it will hard to find 3+ totems.
It could still be difficult with undying’s aura reading to consistently cleanse that many totems
-
Nope. Undying was too random and only worked well with ruin.
New undying is more consistent and works with all totems
-
Nope. Just play the match out or bring a sacrificial ward if you’re scared
-
Wait out the 360 and hit them
-
I’d actually like if they had better chest drops. Would encourage more side objectives
-

well, thats obvious... first of all dont forget about tier 1 is his stealth mode, which is pretty wide aspect of myers.
2nd is, of course that no other killer is insta down without having any downsides
oh wait out w+m2 bubba, buut lets dont mind that
well, at least noone is 310 and can deny litterally any loop just by his ab
Ghostface can expose pretty easily
-
I bought curtain call first so having windows early was nice. Plus I still main clown to this day
-
Tbf this guy is a troll and clearly doesn’t care about the people he plays against
-
Do you have any names? I have yet to meet a doc who can play that well compared to a hag like michi or Downey on spirit
-

Chases are too slow if you aren't utilizing his power. One zap & you're basically in a deadzone.
If it takes one shock to get a hit that survivor royally ######### up.
Got any examples of these good doc’s? I’d love to see them for myself

What I think should be done with Iron Will is that it should only keep you silent 10/15/20 seconds after a hit. It will reset once you heal. It should also not be negated by Stridor.
Something like that sounds good to me. A perk with such a universal passive effect with no cooldown or prerequisite is just dumb to me
But it hasn’t been touched in 5 years so it’s unlikely
-
@dspaceman20 said:
I had different idea. I think they should revert it back but with a twist
Lucky Break
You've had your share of scrapes and bruises, but luck's always on your side.
Lucky break is active whenever you are injured.
While Lucky Break is active you leave no pools of blood for 180/210/240 seconds. Lucky Break is deactivated once the timer has elapsed.
You're immune to the mangled status effect.
That’s actually kinda interesting but vigil has a similar albeit much worse effect
-
@GannTM said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2141207#Comment_2141207
I agree with that but either way no blood pools and no scratch marks for 90 seconds could still be very strong.
True it would be strong but using grunts of pain you could probably track them so long as you’re good at tracking
Or sounds aren’t bugged :(
-
I honestly think iron will is the problem here. Iron will has needed a nerf since forever imo and bows the perfect time to do it

Nope, doctor mains have this community convinced he's balanced & low-mid tier when he's up there with Spirit & Hag. Watch any doctor gameplay and you'll see I'm right.
His chases are too slow to be able to be that high on the list. Like clown he can consistently down but it does take some time.
He also has no mobility which is a big downside
-

One can completely stop you from survivor actions, I'm saying this as a deathslinger main killers, like these are unhealthy.
Only if you time it right. Doctor’s chase is good but nothing amazing.Deathslinger literally restricts your movement and clown forces pallet drops unless you want to give him a free hit
Doctor is no different
-
As in all SWF? Even 2 mans. Can’t wait to see queue times destroy themselves
-
@CornHub said:

Clown can't stop you from vaulting, only slows you down, nurse's power doesn't relate to stopping actions only teleporting.
Trappers mechanic is unfair as it does the same thing as doctor, just with extra steps & more lethality. I play both sides & I don't play killers like that because of how unfair they are.
So you don’t like killers that remove survivors options then?
Playing against doctor is pretty much the same as clown but clown is fine? They both force early pallet vaults and get easy hits at windows.
How is one unhealthy and one not?
